Oc lore please

Gonna talk about my main guy here :] the beast with the desperation of a rabbit escaping a pack of wolves, and also the obsessions the wolves have with catching the rabbit. Stuck in a constant ouroboros of life and death, each death tying them closer to the islands game

Putting the rest under a cut it gets pretty long :]

Smitty ‘Roundrobin’ Sweepstake was the Journalists (Frodo) buddy who went in Frodos place because Frodo really didn’t wanna go, and Smitty would never pass up an opportunity to go look at cool bugs.

They go and fill in all the major plot beats (tweaked a bit here though!) though since they are not the journalist they don’t have the allergies or invincibility. They mostly tend to kinda hang out on their own but due to them being one of the only reliable bugsnak sources they are antsy and anxious about keeping up the supply so everyone doesn’t starve again, this is not helped by the fact that they themselves are eating them and are also subject to the psychological mind melting the bugsnak are implied to do

The boss fights are where they go all out and each time they escape with minor injury until to comes to the cheddarboard fight where, despite being given a good chance to run and escape, they fight and get their skull caved in with all the boulders. Because they are the megamaki though, the island revives them into a snakmonster and they stay on Brokentooth, scaring off random explorers and also getting into more fights with Crex (they always loose, they will never win)

They are content enough there and though they have thought about trying to go home, they don’t wanna meet the other Snaktooth residents, feeling guilty that they were the one sourcing giant parasites to the town and also after all the fights with Crex their organs are kinda a big mush of snakmatter that would probably disappear the moment the snakifcation started to wear off
