Back for good :)

After some health difficulties I'm back for good. :-D Let's start thick and fast ... an FO. My first Afterthought Heel. It's a bit wonky but, I can imagine to knit some more in future socks. Aaand I mastered the kitchener.  What's next? Maybe Brain surgery... My February socks for the @voolenvine #boxofsockskal2017 are complete. I used @knittedwit #victorysock which is a fantastic new-to-me yarn. @nurseinboots asked #widn I'm about to work the afterthought heel in the second sock 😊 Working the first one wasn't as scary as I'd feared 😎 My biggest problem is trying to see those tiny stitches with my middle-aged eyes 😳 When I finished the first heel, it was getting dark so I've waited for daylight to tackle the second one. I've tried the first sock on and have to say I don't like the fit much ☹️ I think the heel is too deep, plus it's very pointy! I'm hoping that blocking will help 🤞I'm ploughing on with the second one because while the fit doesn't seem to be brilliant, it's not bad enough to make them unwearable.
