gunil — as the big spoon

you're like a plush toy to him. he squeezes you like his favorite pillow. his favorite thing to do is tuck his face near the nape of your neck and shoulder because you smell like the sweet bodywash you use. he's a huge dork so he'll ask you if it's new, though he knows it's been the same for months. or he'll make some teasing remark about how you knew that vanilla was his favorite scent, as if it was by coincidence (it wasn't, it became his favorite after he found out you used it). he just loves to pretend like this is all new to him, partially because his sense of humor is so old-man-coded but also so that he can constantly tell you how much he appreciates you even if already established. his strong and sturdy arms wrap around you, and you feel incredibly safe with him. he spares no distance between the two of you, pressing his entire body into yours as you drift into a deep slumber. if you're not too tired beforehand, sometimes you press soft kisses into his knuckles and wrist and his heart just melts. there's something about him that is just so safe, like nothing can hurt you when you're with him. it relaxes you immediately. you don't catch the loving smile on his face as he hears you mumbling to yourself while drifting off to sleep.

jungsu — in his lap

he thinks it's really cute when you sit between his legs and just lay your entire body against his, usually when watching a movie or a show together. you fit perfectly there, in his opinion. it gives him the best range of motion to give you the biggest back hug ever, settling his chin on the swoop of your shoulder. or, if he's more relaxed into the couch cushions, the crown of your head is perfectly tucked against his cheek as you lean into him. you're both so comfortable with each other it's like second nature, not even distracting you both from the movie if you need to shift around. if he's feeling mischievous, he'll sometimes cover your eyes during certain parts just to mess with you. in retaliation you nudge him in the side with your elbow and playfully scold him. and when he's done teasing you, his hand comes to rest at your waist, keeping his arms firmly around you. you mindlessly play with his hands, gently prodding at the curves of his knuckles and dips of flesh between, childishly fascinated by the stretching and bending you can do with his calloused fingers. you like that he lets you do so without a word. the intimacy and trust is so natural, and he thinks it's cute that you're so enamored with his fingertips for some reason. he tries to piece together what you're discovering by doing such a silly thing and can't come up with anything other than the fact it's adorable. it's a feat that you two can even explain to each other what happened in the film or if you liked the ending just from how much playful skinship that happened over the course of the hour and thirty minute runtime.

gaon — as the little spoon

he loves wrapping his whole body around you at all times. he very often comes home late and gives you a big back hug, resting his chin on your head with a silly laugh. or, he'll lean into you as you sit together while traveling, resting on your shoulder. that doesn't mean he doesn't find it incredibly adorable when you're the one to do it instead. you find him napping after a long morning of practice and you can't help yourself. you crawl into bed and snuggle into the expanse of his back, wrapping your arms over his waist and under his arm. it could just be your imagination, but you could swear you felt his heartbeat get faster—he pretends to be asleep so he doesn't embarrass you, or even himself. after that it becomes more common for him to be the little spoon as you get more used to it. he enjoys the feeling of being enveloped with the warmth of the person he loves most and you're happy to use him as your personal body-pillow. he thinks it's so cute when you cling onto him, given the fact he's much larger than you (that being said, he loooves squeezing you in his arms too, laughing because you complain he's suffocating you. the both of you are the clingiest ever when it comes to cuddling, always making a point to give each other the biggest hugs). you're overjoyed you can do something so simple for him and still make him feel so loved.

o.de — facing each other

he likes to fall asleep to your sleeping face. before you're tired you'll both chat about your day and snicker about something embarrassing that happened to you exactly five months and three days ago at one pm. he likes to hear your sleepy, raspy voice rambling about god knows what, the kind of intimacy that he finds to be extremely comforting. then, when you're both tuckered out, he brings you close by wrapping you in his arms. when you're there with him, it's easy for the stress of the day to melt away and find the clarity to relax his mind enough in order to sleep. in this position, you're able to tuck your face against his collarbone and smell the fresh body wash he uses. it smells like you were made to be in this moment with him. he absolutely loves it when you press tiny kisses into his shoulder and collarbone because he deserves to be loved and cared for so much. in return, he gives you a gentle forehead kiss and a bashful laugh at how cute you are when you're half asleep. before you both finally drift off, you think about how you want these moments to last for a long, long time.

junhan — laying on you

he's not that big on skinship, but he can't help himself when it comes to you. when he's tired, overworked, or stressed, he'll come to you silently and just press his body into yours like he's recharging. especially when you're just on your phone or watching tv while lounging on the couch, he'd wordlessly join you by laying right on top of you and you're more than happy to give him some love and comfort. he'd never say it out loud, but he loves the feeling of your gentle heartbeat thrumming or the rise and fall of your chest while you breathe. it is rhythmic and steady and warm, and the musician in him loves the pulsating nature of the repetition. being able to pick apart the melody of your soul is his own little secret. bonus points if you gently twirl your fingers through his hair and hum him a song while his eyes grow heavier, and heavier. you know exactly how much he deserves to rest. these moments of vulnerability are rare, so you cherish them immensely. and when he wakes up, groggy and bleary-eyed, he looks up at your face having fallen asleep yourself and smiles at how cute it is. there is no end to his appreciation for you and what you do for him.

jooyeon — ???

when you two cuddle it's absolutely confusing. limbs against limbs pressed against more limbs. usually, you're both too tired to care about anything but sleeping so it always ends up like this. on the other hand, it's really, really funny when one of you just straight up jumps onto the other while they're resting in bed, splayed over the other like a human blanket (usually with playful remarks of annoyance). but theres comfort in the chaos. there's no hesitance or shyness between the two of you. you're fully comfortable with one another, whether that may be waking up to his beautiful, serene side profile or to a direct view up his nostril hairs. either way, the gentle pressure from the weight of his body and the feeling of his chest rising and falling sends you to sleep in no time, even if your arm is kinda falling asleep under his. he's always vocal about the minor inconveniences that happen to him but he loves you enough to not complain when his arm falls asleep, too.
