I'm sorry for tagging so much but im desperate for help. Please pardon me.

During my time in this fandom i have always read through every vent post, every rant post by every author or artist during their times of distress. I am a writer but not an author or an artist. I have no following. But if you see this please read.

Please understand this comes from a kind place and in no shape or form am i intentionally trying to condemn or shame anyone. I dont know if this will reach anyones feed but i have been seeing alot of people say that it is not your fav authors or fan accounts responsibility to speak up about every conflict. I understand that. Completely i do. But still read this i implore of you.

As someone whose ancestors have been colonised, enslaved, attempted to be ethnically cleansed, crippled and forced under occupation until 1971, i just want to say - although it takes alot of mental strength to interect with upsetting content from conflcited regions such as Gaza and Iran and Syria - your words, no matter how small your platform is can help.

Since there have been posts saying its okay not to speak up (and im not shaming that i promise im trying to be respectful and understanding to the best of my abilities during this upsetting times) - i wanted to write to you to encourage only. To say something. People from Gaza have only this hope - their pain is heard and seen and documented.

I urge you to help out. Because even though comparitively this fandom is small but spreading their cries to even a single person is helpful during these times where propaganda against the gazans are so rampant.

1. Even a single post about ur solidarity with the palestinians is HELPFUL.

2. Info graphics (ik they've garnered a bad reputation among some people recently) can HELP.

3. Linking donation links by finding 20 mins of your life to search credible links in your bio is HELPFUL

4. Interacting with content from Gaza is HELPFUL.

5. Speaking up even once is HELPFUL.

Every 15 minutes a child dies in Gaza. It is a privilege for us to be able to close our phones and get away. People in Gaza do not have that. I URGE you to post at least once in solidarity and spread news.

Fadom is a safe space for many. I UNDERSTAND that many might not want to bring the real world into it, many might not want to take away that comfort. I understand. All im trying to do is motivate you to post at least once. Gazans themselves have urged us to help them win this information and proganda war that is going on against them. The crimes happening against them is not a war to win, it is simple genocide and ethinic cleansing. This is not a highly complicated situation. This is oppressor vs the oppressed.

We've all become so desentized to these words and to all the death toll numbers we forget how real they are. It is uncomfortable and sad but i urge you to let yourself understand the depth of these words and these numbers we're saying because palestinians are being brutalised as we speak.

Be brave. Be brave like the characters we adore. Please help.

I have always loved this fandom as a queer, person of colour living in a third world country. If you are among the people who are reluctant to speak up because palestine does not support queer rights i have this to say to you -

My country does not support lgbtq rights but im still here and so many queer people are here. WE ARE HERE. AND WE LOVE OUR COUNTRY. Because countries are not their governments. Country is the roots of the trees we plant, it is the food we eat, the family we embrace and the culture that we celebrate. Queer people of colour do not deserved to be left alone in times of crisis.

Palestinians do not have human rights.

They have had their HUMAN RIGHTS attacked for years since 1948. And currently they have no human rights at all. That is almost 75 years of the lack of basic rights.

Queer Palestinians exist. I used to know them. Some from this fandom. They're gone now. My friends are gone.

They didn't get the chance to see a future where their country acknowledged queer rights. They were too busy fighting for their basic human ones.

I wouldn't deserve to be left alone in a genocide.

They didnt either.

I urge you to say something. I urge you to be with the right side of history not just as people but also a fandom. So after many decades we can tell children and the youths, we were there in times of crisis and pain when a whole ethinicity was being wiped.

Because as a fandom we've always represented and celebrated our people of colour. We have stood by our marginalised groups. Our favourite characters were celebrated as people of colour.

And remember Jews are NOT doing this crime. Zionist settlers of Israel are. This is NOT a religious conflict. This is Israel genociding the Palestinian people.

I created this blog almost 10 years ago, for a fandom I'm now only tangentially in. Hi Les Mis.

I'm not sure how many Fandoms and random fixations I've floated through on here since then (and the fact I made a whole 'nother blog for one of them to try and separate my interests)

I've set my blog to download a backup, and it's taking a reeeally long time. 10 years of fandom life, and stuff, and pretty things that caught my eye (or that I meant to look at later, whoops). Actually I'd better grab all the fic drafts I have in my drafts just in case.

I'm gutted at the thought of losing this site. That probably means I spend an unhealthy amount of time on here, and I'm addicted to it, probably all true. I should probably gey out and speak to people more IRL, except how?

But I love it here, I love how you can be focused, or you can bounce about through fandoms and that's okay. I love how fadoms are willing to help (thanks, Les Mis and Foyle's War research corners) and cheer each other. I love the in-jokes, like the destial meme. Goncharov was weird to wake up to but really cool.

I love that this can still be a beacon of fun and hope in the mess the world is in. I love that you can fall in love with something on the TV at home, type a tag in the janky search, and find a whole new bunch of people who share the enjoyment, however niche (here's looking at you, Sam/Andrew corner)

I love this place, I love you lot. I'm legitimately sad at the thought of loosing it all.

Absence → A remix fic I wrote for @tua-masked-author based out of @littlerit's amazing work, The Time Traveler's Life. It's Klaus pov of his 14th birthday and Five's multiple appearances. Angsty.

If Only → An AU in which Patch didn't notice Five's van across the street and Cha-Cha got tired of waiting so she kills Klaus on S1E4.

Bubble Thoughts → Another @tua-masked-author entry, an older one this time. It's a post-S3 fic in which Klaus reflects on his father's betrayal and his actions in that season. Luther helps him cope.

I can die when I'm done. → Written for @tua-masked-author first edition! It's a missing scene fic from when Klaus was locked in that tiny motel closet in S1 when Hazel and Cha-Cha left to blow up Meritech. Character study, internal monologue. Lots of Angst & Hurt/No Comfort.

The Bargain → An old wip that I really should pick up again. It's an AU in which the Handler decided to use Five's love for his siblings against him and uses Klaus as a hostage to get Five to work for her on S1E5. TW: SA.

DC Batman

'Cause you all try to keep me down → Black Mask kidnaps Red Hood and Red Robin and Jason is forced to watch Tim get tortured by the man who hates him the most. This fic was written for @febuwhump 2024. TW: Whump & electric shock torture.

resigned. → A drabble in which I explore how sick and tired Jason is of giving the batfamily a chance, only to be disappointed, but he can't not give in, because he deeply cares about them. Character study. Loosely set post Batman and Robin (2011) #20: Red Hood.

I'm absolutely obsessed with Jason Todd at the moment and have so many fic ideas, including a Time Traveller's Wife AU coming up soon. Stay tunned!

Riordanverse (PJO, HOO, TOA)

Oh, ho, the mistletoe (is hung where you can see) → Jasico Imprint Soulmate AU written for @jasico-challenges's Bingo Challenges 2024. Between flashbacks from the past, nightmares and christmas presents, Jason and Nico figure out how to tell their friends the truth about their relationship.

If you had one more chance → Jasico fic for the Percy Jackson Gift Exchange Autum Equinox 2023. Nico struggles after Jason's death and decides to risk everything to bring him back. Orpheus & Euridyce style.

Every Breath You Take → Jercy fic written for the Percy Jackson Gift Exchange Winter Solstice 2022. Percy and Jason are secretly pining for each other. In a road trip across the country, they finally face their feelings, but not withought some angst and jelously in the middle.

It Doesn't Matter Anymore → A Jason Grace character study from when he was stuck in the wind prison in TOA. What was he thinking on his very last moments? Angst and Hurt/No Comfort. TW: Major character death & implied/referenced suicide.

I've written fics of some other fandoms like Maze Runner and I Am Not Okay With This but the fadoms above are the ones I'm still active in.

When did you start watching? What got you into spn? I had it on my watchlist for years but i finally started during fall 2019. I watched the first 3 seasons then i took a break and started again during lockdown around march 2020 and watch the whole show and finished just in time to watch the finale live

How many times have you seen spn? Entirely? Only once but i watched some episodes multiple time. I'm also in my first rewatched. I'm trying to follow the rythm of rob and rich podcast but i'm always one season late

Undertale's fadom is the only one where i'm Still in even after be in other famdoms.

My friends call me old person but in a body of a young one. More becuse im not Good with the computers and with some apps, also i started since two years ago have red socials.

I'm not so Good rememeber numers, names. And i can't notice many things can pass arpund of me, becuse when i'm doing something is difficult distract me or move my attention to other thing.

In the moment where i get an idea i walk While i Hear music, even i can't work without it. And i can work with no plan well done before without problem an idea, as i draw or Write i get the ideas, and when i need think very well an idea, but i usually do this alone. And thats makesi tskemore time for finish a work.

I always talk much and fast, so for that i can write some bad. More becuse i could vet many ideas and many forms to express them, so i could be express more than the necesary.

'I love how you just have best fics on it!' - idk about other anon but I certainly think there's plenty of authors who were left out of the 'ultimate smut list'. Idk, the wording seems very off

Okay, first of all I want to apologise because this is not the only one of this kind of messages I have received. Actually, I just wanted a reading recommendation for a friend new in this fandom, but then so many recs came together that I thought the list would spread some love for the many talented authors in our fandom. The last thing I wanted was to make anyone feel bad because of it.

Second, it's not ONLY the best. They are just SOME beautiful stories, which they truly are in my opinion. BUT we have 1289 E rated fics on the jonerys tag and that's only on ao3 (there's also fanfictiondotnet and wattpad and maybe even other sites?), so it is quite clear that it's only a small sample of what our fandom has to offer. Even some of the authors I love very much myself and who I would call popular in our fandom are not on it. It's really just a glimpse...

And third, which is probably the biggest problem, is that I'm very sorry for calling it THE ULTIMATE collection, which was actually meant a bit ironically, as it is really just a very small collection... Maybe blame it on me working in advertising for still framing it this bold?! Idk, but it was definitely not my intention to exclude anyone!

So in short: I'm sorry for making you guys feel down. We really have a lot of talented writers in our fandom, on the list and beside it, and since our fadom is not exactly growing, we should appreciate ALL those who are still here, creating content.

One thing I love about The Owl House (before we knew all the things we knew now) is that, for us and for the characters of the show, both King and Hooty are absolutely mysteries. We don’t know what they are, what kind of demons are they (again, this was before all that happen).

But the thing is, while King also don’t know what he is, Hooty knows what Hooty is. And the only reason no one knows what Hooty is yet is because, no one asked him. With King there’s no one to ask for, but Hooty? Hooty would give the entire story of his life, if someone just ask!

The characters and fandom are like “No one knows what Hooty truly his”. Meanwhile Hooty is like “It all started at the day of my birth. Wait where did you go? Hello? Is anybody out there?” 

Just the tough of having this character with so mysterious origins, but the only reason they are mysterious is because no now had taken time to ask Hooty about his origins. It’s hilarious!

Look at him, look at the queen, fun fact I've never drawn them before... Giyu is short. Compared to Hina and Tengen at least.

My personal little hc is that Goyu ended up getting a little injured in his tussle with nezuko and upon her not attacking him even after he wad bleeding just redeemed her more to him.
