my favourite part of red valley is the reoccurring theme of “once you make it here you never leave for good”

the infamous examples are aubrey, warren and gordon. aubrey was the first scientist to enter the valley after the new development team was chosen, she was the one who stuck it out the longest, she stayed when ben and bryony left her with the final Teddy Bear, she escaped from the people trying to take her away from the valley and ran straight back, she led a terrorist militia to take down the tech they created in that valley and then spent years re-vamping the station to make it a welcoming community for all who want saftey. she stayed

warren and gordon entered together. gordon didnt want to go in at all, he wanted to get into his car and drive the other direction, but instead he followed warren. and then he waited for warren. and then he was stuck there with warren for 44 years. they stayed

people don’t tend to talk about the other examples tho, like the original scientists. the original scientists that worked on cryotech would re-use their own staff as test subjects, they never left because they didn’t get the chance.

but we also have our current timeline, a world of uncertainty on wether our protagonists are gonna be able to leave, which is a subject which has been much alluded to but let’s also think of all those who Completed, they were used to ‘grit the path’, they stayed

bryony has already been shipped back and i think it’s fate that clive and pam end up there too.

this pattern is either kworrying or optimistic, what if this chain is broken and for the first time in the history of the valley people finally leave for good

what if the pattern is a vicious cycle and no-one who ever stepped foot into red valley gets to leave without dying under the shadow of beinbagg

au where L's a vampire and no one (except for watari) knows. L resists urges to drain humans and instead drinks from the color red. He's obvs not the STRONGEST vampire because of this. Ryuk begins commenting on how all the apples around him have turned white and Light's all like Hmmm yeah that is strange. Yotsuba arc happens and L tries being as NORMAL AS POSSIBLE but suffers a feat when light wakes up to him drinking the red from an apple (((light freaks out)))

Being around a human for such a long duration of time has made L so freaking hungry for blood but he resists his urges ....... he's very into the idea of turning light into a vampire because light is the first intellectual equal he's ever met, and he wants to live on forever with him (((also because they're in love but sheesh thats boring)))

Light is VERY quick to grow out of his fear and instead becomes extremely fascinated with L. He got a super cool and freaky pet vampire basically hell yeah

Let’s all point out how Dream showed off George in relation to the EP the promo videos of his love songs containing him the fact his own GF could’ve been liking allll that dnf fanart right after it dropped convincing everyone that it was in fact about him. Isn’t it so odd🧐How the person those songs were supposedly about was so okay with encouraging fans to think it was about another person. Or a worse option, Dream was the one liking all that fanart. He was in a fresh exciting relationship falling in love again after so much fear and trust issues only to not prioritize the relationship and show off his best friend like they belonged with each other. I just find it so interesting

it IS very interesting and i still think paranoid is about george(and panic attack). like just the timing of everything that was going on during the time when he wrote paranoid like yeah sure he was posting kissgate, gave george his chain, had george in his bed while writing a love song about someone else. and the first promo for paranoid being a video that has george in it like it very much seemed like dream wanted people to think that the song is about george. because the thing is he REALLY did not need to do any of that like he could’ve said from the beginning like hey please stop saying this song is about george i have never written a love song about him. also the new songs he teased and one of them being about someone being half a world apart so if he has that song it wouldn’t be impossible that his other songs could be about george too. like what is he gonna say oh one time she visited europe before we even met therefore she was half a world apart from me😜 and like tbf i kinda get the idea behind why he would want everyone to think all his songs are about her because like they are together now publicly. And also additionally i always love to think about how george was recording dream the whole time during the droncerts like would he really want to have videos in his camera roll for HIMSELF about how his #boybestfriend is singing about someone else

riko didn't know about the speaking french but did he know kevin and jean were close in some way. was he jealous

probably not. but what if he did. what if he was

did he realize that kevin knew him better than he knew kevin. that jean knew kevin better than him

did he do certain things to jean wishing he could so them to kevin. because as much as he enjoyed hurting both of them, i think hurting kevin was a bit more personal

kevin and riko spent too many years wrapped up in each other, as 'beloved brothers'. jean knew kevin's situation wasn't all sunshine and rainbows but was he ever the tiniest bit envious of what they had. of what they were supposed to be

and kevin's situation in the nest is fascinating to me. he knew riko better than anyone, he was perhaps the only one to care about riko. he was destined for greatness alongside riko as long as he played his role as second fiddle. but riko enjoyed hurting him. he had to watch riko torture jean, maybe even had to help at times.

he was both riko and jean's support system for years. but considering his unique position, who was kevin's support system?

and who was nathaniel to them? was he a ghost that haunted the very idea of the perfect court? or is that just jean's perspective and he represented something else for kevin and riko?

i think so much abt the fact that celeborn was one of the last elves who left middle-earth... like we don't even know when it was that he left

and i also think that it was probably him who lived on middle-earth for the longest period of time (out of the elves). i mean yeah galadriel was probably older than him for example and maybe even círdan too, but none of them lived longer on this side of the sea than him. celeborn was already living in doriath in starlit beleriand when the noldor lived still in valinor, and he also stayed longer after the war of the ring, after galadriel and círdan and elrond left. like, idk. how much you have to love a place to stay there even after the most of your kind and the love of your life all left... etc

It’s so interesting because he was so adamant before that he would never ever trust her but I feel like deep down he couldn’t help but trust her.
