Karina: What a way to kick off this season! After that feisty interview with Vodka, we simply must introduce his partner in crime. *she winks at the audience* Now to introduce the female from One, the girl who we just can’t get enough of -- welcome, Dina Lao!

Dina: *walks slowly onto the stage, clutching the front of her dress in her hands to sit* Hello, Karina. You… look nice.

Karina: And you yourself! And in all white, nonetheless. Your stylists did work a number on you, did they not? My, show us the gown, please! It must have taken ages to hem -- such intricate detail!

Dina: I suppose it is nice, yes. *fans dress out and then puts hands in lap*

Karina: How stunning! *audience oohs and ahhs* What a suiting color on you, just like that daring hair of yours. Who knows, white might just be the latest fashion in the Capitol because of your bold statement! Now Dina, you scored a nine in your private training. How do you feel about such a score?

Dina: It’s just a number.

Karina: *laughs* That it is! You’re most certainly right about that. My, you have such a mysterious air about you. The Capitol is hanging on your every word, it seems. *quiet falls, waiting for her to speak*

Dina: I see. *a silence hangs in the air, forces a smile and nods* I appreciate the support.

Karina: Oh marvelous! How modest you are. Speaking of support, you have a potential sponsor watching over you, do you not? Miss Gem Moran, if I’m not mistaken.

Dina: Oh. Yes, I do.

Karina: Wonderful, wonderful! I’m sure she’s paying very close attention to you as things get even closer to our big start. You only have one more night before the big day tomorrow; do you have any plans before the Games begin?

Dina: Well, I --

Vodka: *steps up suddenly next to Dina* I sincerely apologize, but would you mind if I cut in for a second?

Dina: What -- you -- yes, I would mind.

Karina: *completely ignores Dina’s protests* Oh my goodness! What have we here?! Mr. Vekselberg? What is going on here?

Dina: Yes, Vodka, what is going on? *clenching her fist, swivels to face him; horrified he’s on the stage* Don’t you have somewhere to be?

Vodka: It’s okay, dear. *ignores the expression on Dina’s face when he says ‘dear’* It’s just… I have something that I have to say that just can’t wait any longer… or, should I say… something to ask.

Karina: *gasps* You don’t mean…?!

Vodka: I do. *gets down on one knee* Dina Lao… would you please make me the happiest man alive and be my lovely wife?

Karina: *gasps*

Audience: *gasps*

Dina: I… Your wife? *stares at him, hand clutching at chest; audience takes it as a gesture of shock and adoration, but she is just trying not to have a heart attack*

Vodka: *smirks, knowing just exactly what this situation is doing to Dina* Yes, my darling Dina. I desperately want to know… will you be my wife? I’m sure all these nice Capitol folk and everyone at home wants to know, too! *motions to audience who then begin to start violently screaming*

Dina: Your… your wife… you are… *so furious that her face is bright red, clutching her dress to keep from attacking him on screen; appears to be too lovestruck for words* I cannot believe... that you… y... *muttering too low for the microphone to pick up on her exact words*

Vodka: *leans in, eyes open wide and a wide smile spreads across his face* She said yes! *audience erupts into applause that nearly deafens the ears* You’ve made me so happy tonight, Dina! *walks up and lifts her in a hug*

Karina: Oh my god! Oh my god! Oh my god! Oh my god! This is incredible! Amazing! Oh my good god! I cannot believe my eyes and my ears! Can any of you believe this?! This is so exciting!

Audience: *chorus of yasss echo around the room*

Karina: I feel the exact same way! Oooh, this is just so exciting! I can’t wait to get home and talk to my girlfriends about all of this. I’m sure many of you at home will be doing the same!

Dina: *struggling to get out of his hugging-grip, opens mouth to tell Karina that the proposal was faux* Vodka, you --

Vodka: *pulls out small, black box. He opens it, and inside is a diamond ring* Luckily enough, I happen to have this on me. I have the gamemakers to thank for this fine piece of jewelry. *at the last second, Vodka plants a large, wet kiss on Dina’s struggling mouth to get her distracted enough to slip the ring on her finger*

Audience: *violent screaming and cheering intensifies*

Karina: You are certainly the stars of the show, you both! The soon to be blushing bride and her charming fiance. Unfortunately for everyone, that’s all the time we have! But oh my, what a first few interviews this has been! Next up, District Two!

vodka vekselberg's interview

Karina: And now, to start off our show, please give a warm welcome to Vodka Vekselberg of District One!

Vodka: *walks onto the stage, waving slightly as he is surrounded by the cries of all those in the audience*

Karina: Welcome, welcome, Vodka! May I just say, I can now say that I enjoy two types of vodka! The alcohol and the tribute! *turns her head to laugh with the audience*

Vodka: *desperately wants to say something about how air-headed and a bitch she is, but chooses not to* Thank you very much, Miss Karina! And might I say, you look absolutely ravishing tonight.

Karina: Oh, Vodka! You cheeky little thing!

Vodka: *laughs a little* Being cheeky is what I'm good at *winks to the audience*

Karina: That it is! Now, Vodka, tell us! What's it like knowing that you scored the highest Private Training score this year?

Vodka: Well, winning is a hobby of mine. When it's right, it's right.

Audience: *applause and cheers*

Karina: My, my! I bet you're used to winning back home in District One, I'll bet!

Vodka: Oh, yes. That's how I came to be here, after all. I won the little tournament they hold in the Academy to determine the male and female that will participate in the Games that year. I won, and so did Dina.

Karina: Ah, I'm glad you mentioned your District Partner! You see, Captiol Gossip has it that you two are... quite the item! Would you agree or disagree with this?

Vodka: No comment. *winks*

Karina: Oh, I see! *winks back and laughs with the audience*

Vodka: But anyway, I'm very excited to be here! Tonight is such a special night. *subtly pats pocket* I can't wait for all of this to play out.

Karina: Us either! We're very excited with all of the tributes we have this year! So many lookers, so many frontrunners, so much action to come! Now, Vodka, we have one more question before time is up. Tell us, how are you, personally, going to try and win this years Hunger Games?

Vodka: *cracks fingers* Well, Karina, that's simple. I'm going to go around the arena and murder as many people as I possibly can. It won't just be any murder, either. I know how much you folks in the Capitol love a show, so I fully intend to give you one!

Audience: *cheers and applause*

Karina: Thank you very much, Vodka! *turns to audience as Vodka gets up and walks away* Vodka Vekselberg of District One, everybody!

Gianna Interview

Karina: It's time to bring out our next tribute, Gianna Sutton from District Five! Let's give her a warm welcome!

Gianna: *walks onstage, smiling and waving, before sitting down*

Karina: It's so great to have you here!

Gianna: It's really great to be here.

Karina: How have you been finding the Capitol so far?

Gianna: Oh, I absolutely love it. Everything is so vibrant and exciting, always buzzing with energy. It's incredible.

Karina: Much like your parade outfit! And the outfit you're wearing tonight is pretty electric too!

Gianna: Thank you! It is, isn't it? We have a really amazing designer. One of the best things about the Capitol people is their fashion sense!

Karina: *nodding* This is true! Are you finding the Capitol much different from your home?

Gianna: Oh, it's very different. Back home is much less exciting, very boring. The people here in the Capitol really know how to live. *audience cheers*

Karina: We sure do, don't we? *laughs* Is there anything you've missed about home?

Gianna: Well, I do have to admit that I've missed my family. And the little Fort out the back where I often build models of my designs.

Karina: That's right, I heard that you were quite the inventor!

Gianna: In- Yeah I am. It's a lot of fun.

Karina: I'll bet! So I see you've been training hard. Was there any particular station that has taken your fancy?

Gianna: I've discovered a hidden interest, actually. Hand-to-hand combat. You know, the martial arts and wrestling sort of thing. It's a lot of fun and I never would have known that if I hadn't come here.

Karina: That's wonderful! And you received a Private Training score of 8. That's pretty impressive.

Gianna: Thank you! I'm pretty pleased with it.

Karina: Can you give us a hint about what went on during your session?

Gianna: It is called Private for a reason! *laughs* But I will tell you this; You might have an idea about what I did if you've ever seen the film Rambo.

Karina: Interesting. I can't say I have seen that one. Is it recent?

Gianna: Oh, no. It's really quite old. But if you ever get the chance, I would highly recommend it.

Karina: You've really taken the Capitol by storm! Is there anything we should look out for with you in the Arena?

Gianna: Well, I have a few surprises in store for all of you. You'll just have to wait and see!

Karina: Ooh! How exciting! Is there anything else you wanted to say to the people watching out there?

Gianna: If you enjoy what I do in the Arena, just wait until I come back. What I have in store will blow your minds!

Karina: Well, I can't wait! Gianna Sutton, everyone! *Audience applauds as Gianna exits*

Gvenna Hawthorne Interview

Karina: Next up, we have the sweetheart of District Eight, Gvenna Hawthorne! *Audience cheers*

Gvenna: *With a wave and an excited smile, Gvenna walks across stage, the midnight fabric on her dress billowing behind. Black beads on the bodice and train glimmer under spotlights, and she sits down, enthusiastic* Hello Karina! It's so nice to finally meet you!

Karina: *Laughs* Why, the pleasure is all mine! I'm interviewing you, after all. But before we get down to business, I must ask, how did your stylists come up with such gorgeous outfits? That color, that cut-- it's absolutely darling!

Gvenna: Well, Karina, I was lucky enough to be paired with some of the best stylists this side of Panem! I mean.... Saliem, Primus, and Orion... they know their stuff! Plus, it helps that I'm quite learned in the art of fashion. I had no trouble understanding what they needed me to do to get into all the outfits.

Karina: *Grins* So you're saying you're a fashionista? My, with those gorgeous features and a sense of style, you must have been quite the catch back in Eight. Tell us, what did you do, before all this...? *Raises eyebrows, not explicitly saying what she means*

Gvenna: *Covers mouth with hands in a fit of giggles* You're all so funny! I promise I was just a simple seamstress. I worked for Sal's Cloth & Wears. *Glances at camera* Hi Sal!

Karina: *Laughs* That makes perfect sense, beings you have this affinity for fashion. Is that how you managed such a score during private training? A hard-core threads critique to land you that Eight? *Winks*

Gvenna: *Laughs as well* Oh, I wish it were that simple. But my lips are sealed. Private is private, and I don't want to jinx my score.

Karina: *Sighs dramatically, in good humor* If you say, so... *immediately regains grinning, happy composure* Okay, one last question before you go. Hypothetically, say you land Ms. Valour as a sponsor, you make it through the arena, you win the games. What do you do afterwards?

Gvenna: *Perks up* Oh, this is an easy one. As I've told the lovely Ms. Valour, I adore children. I would take care of my little sister and parents, then adopt from the district orphanage once I'm of age. If it's possible, I'd love to move here, to the Capitol with them. It's so beautiful here, with the lights and the gloss and just... *sighs* I'd want to do a lot, I suppose.

Karina: Oh Gvenna, you really are District Eight's sweetheart. It was so wonderful talking to you, dear. I wish you the best of luck tomorrow, and may the odds be ever in your favor!

Gvenna: Thank you, Karina, and thank you Panem. Have a wonderful night, all! *Gets up and exits stage while waving and smiling towards an adoring audience*

Kemena Kirsont Interview

Karina: Coming to us all the way from District 12, please give a warm welcome to Kemena Kirsont!

Mena: *walks out onto the stage with a smile on her face, waving to the crowd* Hello Karina. It is a pleasure to finally meet you and please call me Mena. *shakes Karina's hand before taking a seat*

Karina: Mena it is. Now I have to ask, why is it that you chose to volunteer?

Mena: That is definitely a question that I've heard a lot since coming here. I made the decision to volunteer about a year ago. Honestly though, I don't feel like the reason really matters anymore.

Karina: Why do you say that?

Mena: Well I was lost for a long time before coming here. However, during my time here, though it has been brief, I found myself. Getting to have these experiences and meet some amazing people, like yourself, has sort of changed my frame of mind. In the very best way.

Karina: My goodness! It sounds like you have made quite a bit of personal progress.

Mena: *smiles softly* Yes I have. Coming here has been a very eye opening experience. I am very thankful for that.

Karina: So, Mena dear, how was your experience going through the training? Was it what you expected?

Mena: Expected? Yes and no. The actual process of going through the various training stations provided for us was what I thought it would. However, the actual lessons that I was given and the interactions that took place. I never would have guessed at.

Karina: Is that a good thing?

Mena: *laughs softly* A very good thing actually. I love it when people and experiences are not completely expected. It keeps you on your toes and makes it impossible for you to be bored.

Karina: That is certainly true. Unfortunately that is the time that we have. Thank you so much for coming to speak with all of us.

Mena: Truly, Karina the pleasure was all mine! *turns to the crowd with a big smile on her face and waves as she walks off stage*

Karina: Kemena Kirsont from District 12! *says to the crowd as Mena walks off the stage*

Karina: You all know Dina Carmen, but I think it's time for her daughter to shine in that spotlight, please give a warm welcome to the lovely Casey Carmen!

Casey: *walks out blocking the light from her eyes with her hand* Did you have to be so literal?

Karina: *laughs* Oh dear, it appears we have a feisty one on our hands. *crowd laughs* Please dear have a seat, tell us how you are enjoying your time here in the Capitol.

Casey: *reluctantly sits* I mean, it's okay...

Karina: *gasps* Just okay? Dear you are having a first class view of the greatest nation in the world, not to mention many kids would love to be in your spot, have some respect!

Casey: *rolls eyes* Yeah it's great and wonderful I'm having such a good time. *sarcastically smiles*

Karina: *crowd laughs* Well it sure looks like it! Tell me Casey, how did you feel when you scored a Ten in training? One of the highest scores this season!

Casey: *scrunches lip* I feel... Indifferent.

Karina: Indifferent? How's that?

Casey: Indifferent because everyone here is thinking I'm a favorite to win now but tributes in the past have won with lower scores. I like that I scored high but it really doesn't matter. This doesn't make any sense but it does at the same time, I'm rambling here but that's just because I'm a mess so no worries.

Karina: *laughs with the crowd* Oh yes my dear we can all see that!

Casey: Oh gee, thanks.

Karina: Relax Casey, we are all just here for some last minute fun!

Casey: Yeah ok but you aren't the ones going into the arena tomorrow are you?

Karina: No but-

Casey: Exactly. After tonight you may never see me again, just like my mother.

Karina: Dear, I'm not sure if I should be the one to tell you this but what the hell, tonight is a special night! Your mother has been found...

Casey: *stares blankly at Karina*

Karina: That's right folks, you heard it here first! Dina Carmen is actually here with us tonight! Dina come on out!

Dina: *walks out on stage sporting a new shaved head and a fake smile* Casey... Baby...

Casey: *runs towards her mother and starts to give her a hug* ...What the hell?

Dina: *looks to the audience* I've missed you!

Casey: *slaps Dina across the face*

Karina: *motions to cut the camera off*
