i feel you, i've been in a weird place with shows recently too. i've been playing catch-up for weeks and many of them have started to feel like chores so i've decided to limit my watchlist more this year :/

anyways i absolutely support your kpop activities and i do fear it is inevitable that i one day join you but for now i've managed to fend off the death spiral as you call it at least to that extent ksdjfhkd (although my ateez tag is growing)

and i actually started a new woh set about a week ago so maybe i'll get back in the swing of that soon 🙈

How did you get into graphics / gif making?

i'mma be honest--i don't really remember! i started making graphics back in my livejournal days (fanmix covers esp--god y'all 'member those?) and really enjoyed the creative process. when i made the move to tumblr, i started seeing these little moving pictures and was immediately intrigued. how do you do that?? so i got to looking, and i found the actual making of gifs to be really calming for me, so i just kept doing it.

8. Your favourite graphic and or gif created by yourself

wow. pick a favorite child. okay. this beyond evil set will always be special to me. i think it's really pretty, and it still holds up as a good set over a year later. it's one of my efforts that will occasionally cross my dash and i'm like, 'wow i made THAT.' it's also linked in some other makers' sets as inspo, so i figure i must've done something right!

14. Colour(s) you like

all of them! i tend to overuse red and b+w but it's SO GOOD. i also like working with yellow (even though sometimes it doesn't like working with me), pink, purple, blue, and green.

24. What is something that you’re wanting to learn right now?

GLITCH EFFECTS!!! i think they're so cool and i really want to use them, but i never like the way they turn out.

36. Graphic makers, how do you get started on a graphic? (How do you get an idea!)

i get inspo from a myriad of things, and sometimes know of things i want to incorporate into a set, but i don't know where to start. i usually head over to the usergif prompt generator and flip through a few times to get some ideas, esp in terms of gif effects. once i have an effect in mind, i make a set with that element and eventually build a set around it!

That's super rad i love that for you sm. i think i would be a pretty normal looking gray rock but be super smooth and the perfect size to hold in your palm and have lots of little flecks of quartz in me so that i glitter in the light

15 day BL Challenge part 2 - day 24

Back to @slonekaru ‘s part 2 of the 15-day BL challenge (a sequel to an earlier one started by @negrowhat ) !

Well anyone who saw my previous post, railing about being robbed by The Rebound, won’t be too shocked by my answer to this question:

Day 24: What Storyline/trope do you enjoy and wish to see more of?

I love lots of tropes and plot lines but one that’s barely ever covered is polyamory (especially polyfidelity, though I’d love more of any configuration!).

As someone who’s been poly my whole adult life, fell in love twice and am lucky enough to have been married to both my loves for a ridiculously long time (still am!), I believe in HEA poly and would love to see more of it!

Also it’s so sexy and emotionally exciting when done right. Like in my two favorite cinematic depictions, both in Thai QLs: 3 Will Be Free (not strictly BL cuz it’s a MMF throuple) and Deep Night. Both handled the subject tremendously well, capturing not only the innate sexiness of threeways but the trust, communication, vulnerability and unselfishness needed to make them a lasting success.
