it can, as much as it frustrates him to admit. just sends candy back to hell limping for a bit, then after healing she can come on back. it has varying consequences based on how he dies- ranging from light scarring to supernatural phenomena.

You guys ever think in the depths of his loneliness; after leaving home and cutting all ties with his family to run away with Loki, who then after several centuries also started to fade away leaving him to his own devices, when the girls and the sex and the parties all stopped being exciting and blurred together, when his partners would all inevitably leave him for being childish and closed off, for never letting them in enough to know him and feel secure with him; Gabriel ever made illusions of his brothers to just sit with him in the silence of whatever safe house he was hiding in for the week? Do you think the finer details started to blur after a while? He starts to make Lucifer tens of thousands of years after he’s run away, after the fall, and he can’t quite remember what he used to look like when he was kind- before they started fighting. So maybe then he stops making his brothers entirely, to lie to himself about still remembering them at their best, to delude himself into believing he remembers more than just the bitter resentment and the warped caricatures of monsters they’re becoming in his mind.

Juno is about a city's worth of sunshine contained in the volume of a 5'1" boygirl, with about just as much cheerleadery good sportsmanship to back it. They're used to trying to play the role of Support in every social circle, but everyone here is just as capable, so they're able to lean back a little. They have a startlingly loud laugh, put effort into finding a keyboard (as you can't lug around a piano) so they can play while on group hangouts, have loved to go grocery shopping in Mumbattan with the gang to do mini potlucks, and I think they've initiated several web-based races.

But that's just everything they try to be. They max out that energy because its fun, and because these people are not just their friends, but also an.. escape, from 20777813. They don't want people worrying, dwelling on what they're running from. There's jagged edges they don't have the foresight to sand down, of course, so maybe Hobie picks out and has issue with their worrying Rule Follower For Survival attitudes, or Pav's argued with them over their snappy and sometimes antagonistic personality around villains. I wish I had the energy y'all do for spidersona art.
