also tbh this was me trying to have an OC that is not just me as a wizard (like my fhsona or the wizard sorrow who are pretty much identical lol)

Yatori/my sona: Snapper/Snappy (from red snapper)

Peppermint/my sister: Cuttlefish(ie)/Cuttle (specifically flamboyant cuttlefish)

Fang: Jawfish (from yellowhead jawfish)

Thorne: Lamprey

Hugh: Clownfish(ie)

Pophis: Gramma (from royal gramma)

Lamen: Triggerfish(ie)

Explanations

"Snapper"

Like Riddle, Yatori tends to get red with anger fairly easily. Red snappers are decently sized, too, and she's a rather big kitty. Plus, she tends to have a snappy attitude.

"Cuttlefish"

Peppermint is small compared to her sister, and she's much shyer. Cuttlefishs' sense of sight differ from humans', and she tends to "see" things different from her peers (autism.) Cuttlefish also ink in defense, and her icy aura works in much the same way.

She's also cuddly, which fits with the name.

"Jawfish"

Jawfish have huge mouths they use to carry things, like to spit sand in defense or use rocks to cover their homes like a door. Fang also has a big mouth. That's an insult. That, and Fang's blonde, which fits the yellowhead part.

"Lamprey"

Thorne is like a parasite that won't let go, plain and simple. However, that's not all there is to it. Lamprey are similar to eels yet very different, much like how Thorne is similar to Jade but still very different. Hence why they never get along. Floyd saw the opportunity and took it.

"Clownfish"

Clownfish are brightly colored, and Hugh likes decorating himself much the same. Hugh also considers him quite the comedian, so the name fits — derogatorily. Plus, Floyd has likely eaten plenty of clownfish. It's a threat.

"Gramma"

Royal grammas are brightly colored, and Pophis has quite the creative streak. He paints vivid and vibrant landscapes and patterns, and he's also a member of the Film Studies Club. Guess who else is? Betta Fish! So Gramma it is, one bright fish with another.

"Triggerfish"

Lamen is energetic and tends to bite back, giving back what she gets, sometimes twofold. She also prefers taking care of herself, just like the solitary triggerfish. Short fuse. Trigger happy, even. Simple but effective naming.

Cuttlefishie is Floyd's bestest friend in the whole wide world <3 They commit arson together. :)

sweet idea i had, because i think Antasma deserves the world just saying

like Do you think at some point he kinda just stops giving rose specifically nightmares often sometimes after they're together but it's like subtle he doesn't realize it ? 😭 like not really guttwisting, heartbeat racing nightmares. just , normal ass sweet dreams with a hint of uncanny-ness instead?

i'd like to think so.
