Description: Not many people or mobians were fully colorblind, and boy, did that cause some problems for you.

Notes: Oh man, this just brings me back to when I would watch SonicSong182, hehe. “BROAD DAYLIGHT, AMY!” was always one of my favorite quotes. Anyway, hope you enjoy, diamond anon!

Ugh, why did you decide to go out in the dark? You could barely see, and that wasn’t even with your colorblindness.

“Ugh, why didn’t I bring my flashlight…” you mutter to yourself.

While walking, you accidentally bump into someone, someone looking like Sonic.

“Ah! Chaos, Sonic, I’m so sorry, I can barely see a thing,” you apologize.

“I can tell, especially if you’re confusing me with that faker,” ‘Sonic’ says.

“Shadow? Oh, Gaia, I did it again, didn’t I? I’m sorry,” you say.

“Don’t apologize, [Name],” Shadow replies. “It’s not your fault you have colorblindness.”

“I know, but it happens every time…You’d think I would notice by now,” you say.

“Again, it’s not your fault,” Shadow states. “Just start bringing a flashlight. Or ask Sonic to get you colorblind glasses.”

“That’s a thing?!” you ask.

You hear Shadow chuckle.

“Yes, it is a thing. Now, would you like some help getting home?” Shadow asks.

“Yes please,” you mutter.

The next day, while you and Sonic are on a date, you notice a glasses shop.

“What’s up, [Name]?” Sonic asks.

“Is it true there are colorblind glasses?” you ask him.

“Eh? I mean, probably,” Sonic replies, putting his hands behind his neck. “We can go check it out if you’d like-”

Cutting Sonic off, you quickly pull him inside, causing him to chuckle.

After a rather long (in Sonic’s words, not yours) eye check, the optometrist lets you know your glasses will be done in two weeks. You seem…excited.

Sonic seems excited because you’re excited, and after the two weeks, you have the glasses.

You hold them up to put them on, before hesitating.

Sonic gives you a confused look, tilting his head to the side.

“…Could you stand in front of me so you’re the first thing I see in color?” you ask him.

Sonic’s ears perk up, but he smiles and does so.

Taking a deep breath, you close your eyes and put on the glasses, before reopening your eyes.

Everything is so pretty.

You immediately notice how different Sonic looks.

The blue quills. The peach muzzle and arms.

His enchanting green eyes.

Tears pool at the edges of your eyes, and a huge grin covers your face as you try to wipe the tears away.

“Aww, c’mere [Name],” Sonic says, pulling you into a hug.

“Y-You never told me how gorgeous color was…” you mutter, snuggling into him while reciprocating the hug.

“Heh, I’m glad you like it, [Nickname],” Sonic says.

Now you wouldn’t mistake Shadow for Sonic, and now you could see color!

You couldn’t be happier with your life.

anyway then when I started school and I was always an introvert- and whenever I had a bad day (especially my first few days at elementary) and I’d just imagine Sonic Amy Tails and Knuckles (I’d say shadow too but little AP thought he wouldn’t even be friends with little ap XDD)

I’d just imagine them sitting with me when I’m alone at school or say goodnight etc etc- ✨ and that was fun XD

and seeing how this year sonic fans ARE GETTING FED SO FREAKING WELL -

it’s kinda cool to me how so many years ago I’d play sonic games on my Gameboy or the X-box with my relatives

then some years pass by I started watching Sonic X,play the sonic run game thingy on mobile- there’s also this sonic racing cars game I forgot it’s name bare with me :,] idk if it’s on iPad or Xbox/playstation but like I remember playing it too!!

then oop sonic boom came out- watched it a bit (not so enthusiastically I didn’t like it at first- not the character design or attitude or anything- I especially HATED how dumb they made my boy knuckles 😭 listen I was still pretty young HSHSHS)

but then I discovered some really funny sonic YT channels- my favorite one and I still watch now is SonicSong182 - they’re so silly and I love everything bout this channel XD I recommend (at some point they were also part of my childhood pf) and I just discovered it again last year!!! My inner child was STIMMIIIIING more so knowing that one of my close friends know this channel too :D!

and then the first and second sonic movies came out AND BOYYY THEYRE SO GOOOOOOOOD AUGHHH I need to rewatch them just to refresh memory AND to be more hyper for Sonic 3 :]

and now college me is gonna watch sonic 3 — like ngl im so happy to live through this and im so so happy Sonic never really died and I never really lost interest in it at all,no matter what,im just thankful Sonic made my childhood,made my teenage hood,making my adulthood,and still making my inner child so happy Yanno?

It’s the little things in life,and the more I’m growing and the more I’m maturing the more I learn to appreciate not just the big blessings but also the tiniest things too- and honestly? It helped me?? Somehow? No idea how to explain this but it helped me

//I forgot to post about the con!! It was super fun and it made it even better it was in my city! It felt so wonderful to be around my people y'know? I also never thought I'd be complimented so much on my Blaze cosplay or to have pictures taken with them! I met so many awesome folks (fans and cosplayers), met my VA heroes (and blacked out getting autographs...I couldn't help it. I met freaking Sonic, Amy, Silver and Eggman!!), the artists of the IDW comics who are super talented and deserve to have their work shown!, writers of Sonic Boom were so kind to have a conversation about their work with me, Adrenaline Dubs cast was super awesome and offered to sign an artwork, amazing artist alley vendors (especially SupaSilver!!), the awesome cast of sonicsong182 (I wanted to cry so bad, meeting them made my inner child so happy!!), a fan also offered to DRAW me in cosplay and she is so talented to draw so quickly on the spot!! I even met a fellow VA in a Sonic project group we're in! The whole day was just such a wonderful memory I'll never forget. <3 I'll definitely come back to it next year!!

So a confusing thing in Sonic. Is either Blaze is from the future or a different Dimension.

What about this: Blaze is from another Dimension, but travelled to Silver’s timeline. Then stayed to help him, because it’s an hellfire realm as hot a a sauna.

Her Dimension’s timeline is in-between Silver’s timeline and the Present timeline.

Eggman Nega is from the future, but has bases in Blaze’s Dimension. Where he technically is from her Dimension, but was born in Silver’s timeline.

This is just my opinion, but what do you think?

P.S: What’s your thoughts on Universal scaling in FNAF, without using FNAF World. In my opinion, I’m fine with it as long as it makes sense to me.

Like I find the idea that Jeremy (Bonnie) being Outerversal, because the celebrate poster had him floating a bit. Scott responding with that Jeremy (Bonnie) doesn’t apply to Time, Space, and Physics.

It’s meant to be a joke, but it’s then stated in guide books as well. It also makes sense because Spirits of Remnant and Beings of Agony can grow super natural powers. Characters like Eleanor created the Ball-Pit, and it has it’s own Space-Time linking in-between two Universes.

Just my opinion, what do you think?

Eggman Negative and Blaze inclusion in 06 have been an interesting topic that i find... fascinating to say the least~

Eggman Negative at least to me, imo has been an anomaly. originally we all thought he was from Blaze's Dimension but after the rivals games they said that he was from Silver's distant inevitable future. Now as of right now people can decide on... where ever he's from, if you believe he's from the Silver's distant future with bases in Blaze's dimension, that's cool, if you believe vise versa also cool and based (literally that's such a cool headcanon).

but for me and this is my own bullshit thinking... i like to believe Eggman Negative... is some sort of anomaly.. that no one really knows where he's from, he claims to be in Silver's future or Blaze's dimension but... i see those more as smokescreens he puts up to hide his true location. He has bases in Blaze and Silvers locations but he himself resides somewhere else.... somewhere foreign that we don't know.... but that's just me.

as for Blaze being Silver's future, your answer is the most probable and the one i agree with, it would make sense for the Sol Emeralds to do that. Considering the Chaos Emeralds mess with time on the daily, it's no surprise that there alternate dimension counterparts can so the same and send others to other points in time (heck theres a really cool video by sonicsong182 who made up there own story for Blaze)

also how do you feel about the headcanon that the Ifrit is the last remaining remeants of Solaris in the main sonic Universe (I say that because Mephiles is trapped behind his boss gate, which is locked behind 4 keys, which the entire boss gate is located underground, which is trapped in white space) personally i like it and it makes sense.

also opinions on Charriii5's two-part special on making sense of White Space (personally i love it a lot, besides the Mephiles part which i half agree with it but i'll elaborate on that once you see the two parter)

Also as for FNaF powerscalling i'm into it when it comes to the book characters, Springtrap, Baby, Ennard, Puppet, The Mimic and a few random others. Never really cared about FNaF powerscalling but it's an interesting topic.

also i'm rereading Fazbear's Frights again finished the first book and it's as good as i remember

118. What is your most embarrassing memory? Okay so this is an interesting one, I was with my friends on a school trip and we couldn't get the door to close but when it FINALLY did, I started screaming my head off as it scared me and my friends pretty bad XD
