ok so basically I disagree with this and here's why
headcannoning a FICTIONAL CHARACTER as something does not reflect on an actual community. unless the people headcannoning Elijah as transfem are saying "he's transfem BECAUSE he is a creepy person and that's the way transfems are," they are not doing anything inherently wrong. it's a headcannon. made online.
I was around when all of the 'femidiah' shit went down too, and I don't understand fully why you've brought it up here, but people back then were using THE EXACT SAME LOGIC YOU'RE USING against people who headcannoned Jedidiah as transfem. seriously, they were saying things like "you can't say he's transfem because he manipulates Sydney and we can't make it seem like all transfems manipulate people." (I was on the side of the people who headcannoned Jedidiah as transfem then, although I didn't personally headcannon him as such, I typically don't headcannon I just like to let the characters exist. no hate though)
this is a predominantly queer fandom. I have yet to meet a cis person irl who likes this podcast, and most of the fans I meet online are trans too, or at least very very gay. if this was a headcannon for something popular, like barbie, I could see there being more of a reason to not want to headcannon the villain as trans because it would reach a greater, less queer population, but even then people just don't really care about headcannons that much.
literally every character that isn't already trans has been headcannoned as such by the fandom. this is not an 'exclusively transing the villain' situation, this is a 'what if everyone was trans' situation
it's not like Blue, the actual creator of the podcast is doing this. if he was, and Elijah was transfem and the only trans character, it would be a problem, because he would actually be saying something about the character of transfems.
trans people can do bad things. I know trans people who have done bad things. most people are literate enough to understand that a FICTIONAL CHARACTER being a bad person does not make every single transfem a bad person, just like with any other group of people, marginalized or not.
also people headcannon Elijah as transmasc. I don't see you getting mad then
I think that it's valuable to have conversations about the stereotypes that the media pushes on trans people, but this is not actually the media, this is like seven hypothetical kids on tumblr. I don't think you're a bad person or anything, I just think you need to take a step back and assess the situation
This is an open letter to the camp here and there fandom.
Also this is written out of pure rage so if anything doesnt make sense that is why, this is just me letting off steam and anger.
Firstly this is not directed at anyone in particular, not at any blog or any specific post i could find. This is purely directed at a possible person or post that was said to exist that i couldnt find proof for. That alone would be a reason to neitheir write or post this but i still am because i do have something to say and something i want some people to think about.
This is about the "transfem elijah headcanon" that i am not sure if it exists because the only evidence i could find for it where two post useing he/she for elijah and a single piece of fanart portraying him in a dress that isnt particulary saying that person hc elijah as transfem but they where praising quote "feminine elijah" so thats what i am going off.
So why am i mad at this? well there are two reasons a personal one and one with the moral implications of hc him as trans fem. so lets start with that.
Headcanoing elijah, a man that actively stalks, grooms and commits medical malpractice on someone, as transfem is fucked in its implications. 1. because there is the popular notion that trans women are groomers wich would implicate you support that notion. in its concept its transmisoginistic and alianates real life trans people from this fandom. and 2. because there is inherently something very wierd about makeing a "villan" flamboyant and feminine, because its a stereotype. feminine man being villans or only being portrayed in a bad light has been a problem in hollywoods history for ages so why would you transfer that idea onto queer media like this.
I am not attacking people who have the hc personally because i know a lot of the people active in this fandom are very young around 12-15 and i was at that point when i first came into this fandom so i understand that frankly sometimes younger people will not think about the implications of what they say or do. I just want to encourage people to think about this stuff because i feel it is important.
so now lets get to the personal side of this. When i first came into this fandom i became very good friends with a group of people who had the headcanon that jedidiah was transfem and i counted myself as one of them because i liked the headcanon, it was harmless enough. Shortly after a lot of people from said group started being harrased got suicide threats... etc. this caused us to hide on discord as a group. While i was never personally the one being attacked i was part of that group of people and i directly saw what it did to them and it affected me. one person has left tumblr compleatly over harrasment (not only over this but in part) and two whrere compleatly alienated from the fandom entirely.
this was over a year ago maybe over two i am not sure. A lot of stuff happend, the manifesto incident aka. the jedidiah apologist vs the elijah simps wich is still going on somewhat.
I mean to say that i doubt any of the people who have the elijah hc where the ones who harrased us back then. Yet i still deeply feel the injustice that no one speaks up against this hc and its actual harmfull indications while we were actively getting death threads back then and 15 page essays saying what bad people we are for disliking elijah.
so this has been my word about this.

I really appriciate how often Machete is depicted struggling and feeling like a burden, while still being loved and supported by Vasco. It gives the top tier angst of "i'm not good enough, I'm not worth it" but you frame it in such a way where it's clear that's just how he *feels* and is not how things really are, but also it's so nice to see someone who struggles quite often in a loving and unique relationship that suits them. The narrative of not being able to love or be loved unless you're consistently healthy is really tiring lol.
.
#ah thank you! I'm so glad these themes come through the way I intended#this touches on something that I've been thinking a lot so sorry if this gets a bit ranty#but I have massive personal beef with the sentiment âyou have to love yourself before you can love someone else/someone else can love you â#I hate it with a passion#I know it's meant to encourage positive growth and I get that self-love and healthy self-image are something you should strive for#but it also sort of sends the message that people who struggle with these sort of issues don't deserve to be loved#not until they reach some external invisible standard of âokay I'm normal and well adjusted nowâ#âperhaps now I'm worthy of entering a relationship without the danger of dragging the other person down with meâ#people who aren't in perfect health mentally or physically already feel like they're inconveniencing others with their mere existence#depriving them of the possibility or even the idea of loving and being loved won't make them better#it's just a stupid idiom it doesn't matter but to me it just comes across as unspeakably cruel way to think#and it rustles my jimmies#answered#anonymous

Favorite damangela moment GO!
Not sure I have one. Again, i think I've come to really enjoy their dynamic. I think Angela is usually thought of as the chaos gremlin who always thinks before speaking. Which is totally fair, I mean, she can be quite loud sometimes. But she also has her moments of calm, and enjoying the moment while leaning back. I'll admit, Angela isn't always my favorite to watch, but I've never hated her. At the same time, I think Damien (especially in recent years) has been thought of as a gentle giant. Sometimes people forget that the people on Smosh have grown a ton. Of course Damien isn't always going to be as chaotic as he once was. Back to the topic. As I was saying, my favorite moment/s between them is whenever they bring out each others features. Angela being supported by Damien, allowing her to step back, take a breath, and share a smile. Their quiet moments are extremely sweet. Damien being encouraged by Angela to let loose of his laugh, projecting it as loud as he can. To let himself be wild. Their shared moments with each other show different sides of themselves.

God, Iâm getting a flashback to the first few episodes of the G1 Transformers cartoon, and thereâs a scene where Spike says Optimus would be a good presidentâŚ.
AND YOU KNOW WHAT, THAT KID WAS FREAKING RIGHT.
Optimus can admit when heâs wrong, which a lot of adults seem unable to do, and he believes in freedom for all sentient creatures. He also usually is good at making relatively fair judgments (we arenât counting the time he let Megatron beat up Starscream because Starscream almost blew up the earth). God, if more men were like Optimus I think the world would be a better place.
HOW THE FRACK IS A CARTOON CHARACTER MADE TO SELL ACTION FIGURES A BETTER PERSON THAN THE INCOMING PRESIDENTIAL ASSIGNMENTS. *sob*

TKK to JK: Are you gonna live with Taehyung?
Army to JM: Is JK next to you?
So a deluded tkk asks JK a personal weird line crossing question about if he is gonna live together with his bandmate as if that is their damn business and gets one hell of a "ain't no way you seriously asked me that dumb shit" look from JK in the process vs someone asking about JK being there with Jimin, since its common knowledge they are in the buddy system together and not a stretch to make since Jikook themselves said they're together every day in there. One is a question and one crosses major boundaries. Guess which one got all the outrage? I personally don't agree with asking about members, to any member, but it happens, but I am certainly not a fan of invasive questions, which is what the cult asked JK and not any of JK's fans or OT7's mad a big deal of it, but when it comes to Jimin, all hell breaks loose. We are not surprised.
Yeah 100%! Iâm also against asking about other members during live streams/weverse comments but this was probably one of the least offense examples of that for the reasons you already mentioned. I donât even think the person who asked was asking because of shipping.
And to your point, itâs because JK looked confused and weirded out by that âliving togetherâ comment so Jikookers just thought it was funny* (& jkkrs are not threatened by tkks friendship in general) whereas Jikook actually are together right now and the knowledge of that has been causing tkkrs continuous mental damage for over a year now. Such a massive amount of the fandom (including JJKs/KTHs + so many ARMY âshooterâ accounts) are also tkkrs so they donât care when tkkrs cross the line but they hold jkkrs to entirely different standards.
Itâs genuinely appalling (and pathetic) how the most benign comment from Jimin can have them crashing out so hard. Anyone trying to spin Jiminâs (very basic) response as âfanserviceâ or âfeeding shippersâ also has chronically online shipper brainrot. If Jimin acknowledging that heâs with JK when they are literally enlisted together upsets someone they need to get offline and touch grass. The other members are constantly namedropping and interacting with each other but when itâs Jikook suddenly itâs fanservice**? Right.
Itâs clear that Jikook enlisting together triggers tkkrs (all jkk antis) so bad because itâs the ultimate proof that Jikook are genuinely close and care about each other. It shows that Jimin is someone whom JK wants to support and wants to be supported by. It debunks any narrative that Jungkook is uncomfortable around Jimin, that he doesnât like him or doesnât want to be around him. It tells the exact opposite, actually. Jimin is clearly someone JK trusts tremendously, feels happy and safe with, someone he would choose to be around and go through such a difficult experience with. You canât really argue otherwise and look sane.
The issue for serious tkkrs is that Jikook canât even be friends for tkk as a ship to make sense (itâs seriously pathetic that their ship relies on obsessively lying about and trying to diminish the bond of another duo). Iâm not surprised that theyâve been acting more unhinged after Jikook enlisted together. It doesnât help that theyâve had almost no content for so long that theyâve become extra bored, restless and insecure. They try to cope by clinging to their âprivate coupleâ narrative but the whole thing falls apart under an ounce of scrutiny. Deep down some of them must know that.
Itâs actually unreal the way that Jimin manages to get under their skin despite being such a genuinely unproblematic person. He comes online and his words are so sweet, thoughtful and kind. He has consistently been one of the most supportive members and has physically shown up for every member during solo era. Namjoon recently said out of everyone heâs met since becoming an adult Jimin is the person he loves and trusts the most. Jimin was also the only member who physically showed up for THs solo promotions (twice) and posted about him several times on his IG too. Jimin barely comes online, doesnât brag, doesnât ask anything from fans. Heâs so gracious, patient, and doesnât take himself too seriously. He has also always treated JK especially well, which JK has acknowledged. And Taehyung has always had the most complimentary things to say about Jiminâs character too. All the members have.
I know all of that just pisses them off more because they want to have a justifiable reason to hate on him so they donât experience all that cognitive dissonance when theyâre being nasty. They try to make up all these lies so they donât feel like bad people, to justify their irrational hatred and all their jealousy, but it never holds up to anyone sane. Itâs just unreal to me to see how normalized this kind of hatred towards Jimin has become and the lack of outrage and response from such big portions of the fandom. Thatâs getting into a whole other rant though, so Iâll stop there. But such a simple comment from Jimin should never have triggered such a massive wave of hatred, but here we are once again.
I donât want it to seem like I put all my energy there though. Hearing from Jimin after so long was beyond healing đ. His comments were so cute, sweet, and funny. Itâs genuinely so exciting to be his fan and to hear how passionate he is to return to his work, how much thought heâs already putting into it. I canât wait for Jikook to finally be free, to see BTS active as a group again, to see the other enlisted members, to get more Jikook solo content. I hope we get a big solo stage from Jimin finally (if he wants). I wonât let those losers dim that excitement or the joy from Jimin's weverse spam, but man itâs really frustrating sometimes and occasionally genuinely worrying for his safety. Iâm also just tired of not being able to enjoy Jimin content or Jikook content without having to deal with those psychopaths throwing tantrums. And youâre right, the double standards around it are just insane.
*JKs response was funny but a lot of jkkrs were also rightfully bothered by how weird and invasive the comment was. iirc all the comments on that live were strange and you could see how uncomfortable and weirded out JK was by the end of it. ngl sometimes I wish that BH would implement membership only for commenting on their lives.
**Even if it was fanservice (which it clearly isnât) thatâs not an excuse to act psychotic? I saw a ârationalâ tkkr trying to claim that BH pushing fanservice âharmsâ JM as if tkkrs lashing out in jealousy is somehow justifiable. That would still be weird as fuck and extraordinarily parasocial even in the scenario that tkk were in a âsecret relationshipâ and Jikook were a âcompany shipâ. Those are still two grown men with free will, tkkrs are not a part of their relationship, tkk also clearly consent to the content coming out? That kind of response from tkkrs would always be insane and unjustifiable and a product of their personal jealousy because they project onto tkks relationship. Just pointing this out because that was such a wild take I saw the other day & ârationalâ tkkrs are sometimes more insidious and just as irrational & ridiculous as the others. They just disguise it better.
#ask#anon#discourse#tkkrs#sorry got a bit ranty#bc god they are annoying omfg#free jikook#i don't want to have to deal w/ this#every time they interact when they're out of the military#bc crashing out over that comment was actually insane#imagine being so pathetically jealous#free Jimin

how do you feel about them leaning into the horror genre in the future of watcher? i've been chatting to people who still support them after that podcast episode came out, and mostly people are disappointed with that decision, as am i. idk, i feel like i'm too old to enjoy paranormal horror and what attracts me to watcher most are their other shows, i'm less interested in seeing more horror content from them (the podcast also seems to be going in that direction)
Very good question, I hope you don't mind the answer being very long and going into details that not many people care about.
The TLDR version would be to tell Watcher that you feel like this. Tell them that you're here for your favorite shows that aren't the files. They seem to listen to the feedback, and I noticed in the comments of that podcast ep that many people feel like you. (Top 5 beatdown being the dark horse of a favorite show for some, Many Puppet History fans wanting to keep the professor on watcher despite the spooky pivot. I think they will listen to that because this episode opened up the discussion of what people really want, so we'll see.)
Also important thing is that if you're on the streamer then nothing will change. Steven's shows will be uploaded there, and Puppet History will air in January. My guess is that they want to see how it preforms to decide what to do with it later, but now that they started to even upload podcast eps ad-free I think everything will still be on the streamer. So if you're the subscriber to that then not much will change.
If you also want my personal feelings then they are that WWW is their best show, along with Travel season, and I still think those are the best shows that watcher has. Besides Ghost Files which I also really like so if I'm getting more ghost files in 2025 and it will be as good as season 3 then I have more positive feelings towards the change into spooky content.
But I'm a dedicated fan who signed up for the streamer, and I still think that goodbye youtube video is not that bad and is a fun making watcher finale. My opinion doesn't allign with majority of watcherinas, and I don't have all the facts. This is pure speculation based on what happened before but I'm also sometimes wrong so don't take this too seriously I just love being analytical about how people think.
And the facts are that Mystery files and Ghost files are their best preforming shows.
And also that the content they're makng is content that they want to make. I think that is a detail that flew over people's head, they are listening to the audience but they also lean into their little niches of interests. If there are videos that they don't want to make then they simply will not. (Rip MF debrief)
You can see that many casual fans are there for Ghost Files with the criticism for the streamer being "They only make 6 eps a year I'm not paying for that". For most people watcher is synonymous with the files and it's those people who bring in views and therefore money. (I'm not a youtube expert but I believe if you have sponsors in an episode then you're like "This video will get x many views, and thus a precentage of that are potential clients"). I think this is why some sponsored videos are pinned in the channel, and this is why travel season spicy ep has more views than the rest of the season, it was pinned there for some weeks, before their next sponsored video appeared. The fact that people are there for GF also shows by some people saying "I subscribed just for that", or most telling when the trailer dropped suddenly many people were in the comments on watcher tv sharing their enthusiasm.
Also if we look at the channel in 2023 compared to 2022, we can already see a very slow shift towards the spooky content.
(In bold are what counts as spooky shows, in italics shows that got over 1M views as of writing this post)
In 2022 their slate was:
Top 5 Beatdown -> Worth A Shot -> Eat like Me -> Berry Boy's one off -> Are you scared -> Too Many Spirits -> Pretty Historic -> Dish Granted -> Ghost Files + Debrief -> Puppet History -> Making Watcher
Out of these shows, only Ghost files, Are you Scared and Puppet History got more than 1M views (as of writing this post) and some episodes of top 5 betadown depending on the topic I suppose.
In 2023 the shows that premiered were:
Top 5 beatdown -> Are you scared + Survival Mode (same week) -> Too Many Spirits + Worth a Shot (aired wednesdays) -> Mystery Files -> GF one off -> Puppet History -> Ghost files + debrief (alternating weeks) -> top 5 specials -> Santa TMS -> Making Watcher.
Versus in 2024:
Survival Mode+ Top 5 beatdown (same week) -> Mystery Files -> Streamer announcement -> Survival Mode s3 -> Travel Season + Are you scared 3 eps in -> WWW + TMS one off -> Jokerfied TMS -> Are you scared one off -> Ghost files + Debrief (alternating weeks) + Are you Scared x Rusty quill collab (the lost tapes).
I marked the shows considered spooky in bold to show you that the slow increase of them happened over the last three years, and that even if they premiere their "variety" shows that are not considered spooky they still need a spooky show to equal out the views. The simple truth is that shows without Ryan and Shane doing spooky stuff don't get the views even if they are beloved by some watcherinas.
Now what is the spooky content they're leaning towards? Let's see what they're saying.
"More Ghost files, More Mystery Files, more episodes of those and Are you scared, and also Ghost Files Alone which is not a series yet but one-off for now."
They're "doubling down" on making them which is also something they wanted to do, but perhaps didn't know how. I think this is an opportunity for them to see what works (And as Katie Leblanc said, it's also easier for their crew to not go from editing one show and then a whole different show. We know how much effort ghost files required so I think if they focus their energies into making the files verse then they're gonna be better for that. It is better to have one good show instead of many cheaper ones. My hope is that they know what they're doing in that regard, because if they're going to lower the quality of Ghost files to make more of the episodes then that's not something I'm interested in. But I don't think they will go that far)
As for the food shows going for another channel, this is sadly the reality of youtube. Just like the thumbnails for ghost files s3 on Youtube are Very Clickbaity, so is the almighty algorythm, not liking the variety that watcher produces. What do you mean one week you can have long hour video and the other only half hour? Why only one month is there food stuff, and the other some spooky stuff? This might be confusing to new audiences but also to youtube algho which is like "Produce more of the same thing, always". This is a thing that every youtuber talks about sooner or later, and why every youtuber has a second channel for more experimental stuff. Food and Spooky content doesn't mix well, so if watcher wants to make a second channel for food I do think it's for the best. Steven's shows deserve to be watched by people who like them, not hatebombed (and we can all agree that Travel Season got the short end of the stick this year. As much as I love that show, it wasn't fun to go into comments and see people disliking what they're seeing.)
I think also this is the basis on which they're making that pivot, and in the end this decision doesn't surprise me. They already made a separate travel season instagram account, to give a chance for fans to have something more fun, so I think this was a decision they came to quickly. Perhaps they wanted to see how everything performs, and had to wait half a year to see how things are. I think the reason they waited with announcing this change is because they had to have a plan and see what would work. As much as I think they should make a separate more concise way to announce the changes (I doubt many fans even know of the podcast ep, or were listening to the end), aside from their own feelings about it they had to come up with a plan on how to go from here. I also think that they haven't decided what to do until the end. Shane mentions that Puppet History MIGHT go somewhere else IF it doesn't fit. Those are hypotheticals, and nothing is set in stone. This is why I think it's important to let them know what you feel about their content going forward.
I also think the strategy of them going into more spooky content is underway in small ways we don't notice. Besides the slow increase in shows, this explains the bfu collab (follow us on watcher for more of the ghost hunts), even if Ryan admitted that they wanted to do this for a long time, and the crossover with a tv show that focuses on ghost files. So they are doing this but in the end it is more content for us.
As for Pod Watcher leaning into the spooky things.... well this is pod watcher and it's about what's airing on watcher. Their last episodes are themed like this because ghost files is airing, so they keep with the theme. I'm very interested to see how they will change the content once something else will be airing. Also they are film buffs and like scary movies. So no wonder they talk about horror films, that is their interest and they talk about "whatever is on our mind every week".
Lastly I also think that it's fine to not like or vibe with the change if you feel like that. People change, content changes, our interest comes and goes. Just because you were a fan of watcher in 2020 doesn't mean you have to like everything they do in 2025. I'm myself not sure how much this will remain my main interest, if I will be here for the next five years or maybe decide that the changes are bad and I've outgrown their content in the next half year. (I highly doubt it because it doesn't feel like it for now and I am excited to see where they go from here.) If it's a good idea or not, remains to be seen, but none of us have a crystal ball and can now in December 2024 say that this is good idea or ultimately bad. There are some people who think that the pivot is a great idea, and the nature of creators is that they want to evolve and grow and change. It seems that their goal is to make what people want to see and reach new audiences by making their most popular shows, and at the end of the day they are a business and need to make money from this. If they feel like this is what's gonna work then I can only believe that they know what they're doing.
I hope this makes sense and that it explains some things for you, thanks for asking :D
#replies#watcher#sorry for a long post clouding the tag I just think it deserved a bit longer explanation#ranty watcher posts for ts

I mean Neil said once that the sequel involved Jesus arriving in America on a plane with secret service agents, and the S2 opening sequence shows a plane, so I'm... fairly confident that he's an adult? Jesus died when he was like 33 right
afternoon anon!!!⨠see i recall this (ask on neil's page?) and remember the response but cannot for the life of me find it anywhere (and im pretty good at Finding Stuff), do you - or anyone else reading for that matter - have a link to this? just so i can save it for future reference.
now, i hope you don't mind if i do this, but i would like to use this opportunity to parse out a more coherent rationale on the second coming, if that's okay? yeah? cool.
(previous incarnation of this theory).

thing is that the premise of the baby swap in s1 is based on the omen, right? takes at least a huge chunk of inspiration from that as the origin of how the antichrist came into the story. but it goes wrong, obviously, and there's a third baby thrown in the mix. makes a cursory wave to the omen, but isn't a carbon copy of it.
now i can't help but feel that narratively it would make sense to bookend this and have the second coming be a bit bollocksed up too. seems to be a theme in GO. and actually, when i thought about it (with extreme bias, granted, because im chomping at the bit on this theory), the second coming was potentially already fucked up anyway.
now, disclaimer time -
i completely get that people will look to the bible in reference to parsing out the second coming (or indeed any other theory). obviously i do too, for references to certain verses etc. in order to draw the relevant parallels. but there are multiple instances in GO where it is based on the bible or other texts, but doesn't follow it exactly; how GO portrayed the book of job, for example. it takes these texts, and distorts or reimagines them slightly or completely.
the way i see it, we are reading/watching GO as if this is in fact the true telling of those texts, as if (and not trying to be diminutive here) the bible is an inaccurate telling of GO, not the other way around - because, of course, we're seeing GO from the angel and demon that were 'actually there', so to speak.
im not saying that this - or any - of my theories are indisputably correct, far from it. but to me, with the information i have from the narrative as first source, and then looking at the referenced texts that inspired it, what i come up with, and write, is what makes sense to me. and it might make sense because it would be poetically apt, is in-keeping with how i interpret the characters, and/or is just plain funny or ironic (GO is after all, a comedy).
so whilst i fully anticipate people to duly correct me on how it all goes down in the bible (as they should, i love being educated!!!), please know that im not trying to deliberately misinterpret anything, but more trying to think outside the box, from the viewpoint of the GO story itself, and what direction would make the most sense in which it will reimagine these texts.
- exit disclaimer.
anyway! theory time!
so we have the imagery from the s2 sequence of the "thy kingdom come" plane, and this is obviously a reference to the resurrection as you've said, anon: that jesus arrives by plane. i truly love this imagery because if we take matthew 24:36 (KJV): "But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.", the concept that in the great plan the date and time might finally be revealed in the form of a flight number, airport, and ETA is frankly hilarious to me. furthermore, "cometh with clouds" (revelation, 1:7 KJV) being reimagined as a literal plane landing again sets up the comedic backdrop so well.
now wherever the plane lands, whether from the US or to the US (again, don't have the original neil answer to refer to, but going based on your ask, anon, it's the latter), it regardless involves americans. this is where i feel it would be a perfect narrative symmetry opportunity to refer back to s1/the book, and reintroduce the dowlings.
and you might be wondering, "well no because GO set up the dowlings to be involved only insomuch that they were meant to be custodians of the antichrist - why would they also be involved in the second coming?" well, i wondered this too. the only conclusion i can come to, frankly, is GO!god having a very warped, twisted and ineffable sense of humour. they saw what satan had planned for the dowlings in inadvertently raising the antichrist, possibly did a bit of shifting around in the mystical threads, and decided that actually - just to throw in the wildcard of chaos - they should instead be the bearers of the second coming. this degree of mind-boggling ineffability, to me, would be comedically on-brand.
regardless; whilst just a theory, the whole thing makes sense to me - that in any case, the dowlings are going to make a reappearance. and with them, or on his own (if we follow the biblical telling that jesus was resurrected as he was from the crucifixion, at age 33yo, and therefore would suggest a timeskip from s2, but this isn't necessarily guaranteed - ie: might not be how GO chooses to portray it!), comes warlock. now we know that warlock was meant to be the antichrist, before crowley and the nuns managed to bugger it all up.
but heaven wouldn't necessarily know that its the dowlings arriving, right? presumably they'd just all gather on the tarmac awaiting the arrival, and lmao SIKE, it's bloody warlock. heaven hasn't met warlock, and therefore still think he's in fact jesus resurrected... but aziraphale has met him. he helped bloody raise him. and he knows now that he is essentially a normal kid/adult (albeit a very stuck-up one) and definitely not the second coming.
well then, if jesus was meant to be on that plane, according to the great plan, a plane being used by the dowlings... then why isn't it warlock? well, because the dowlings' actual baby isn't warlock. lets go back to the baby swap in the book/s1:
*apols, editing to correct this somewhat because it isn't quite right and lateral thinking is not my strong suit*
ANTICHRIST was meant to go to: the DOWLINGS. instead, went to: the YOUNGS. this is Adam.
YOUNG BABY was meant to go to: stay with the YOUNGS, but got mixed up. instead, went to: the DOWLINGS. this is Warlock.
DOWLING BABY was meant to go to: adoption/something nefarious instead, and indeed did. this is... Greasy Johnson.
and i love this for all sorts of reasons. now im lifting this next bit, essentially, from another ask of mine, but to keep things all in one place:
"greasy is posed as the antithesis of adam/antichrist, has a gang surrounding him that you could infer are loyal disciples, and is a mirror to adam in that adam on the whole seems to be a well-adjusted and morally-upstanding young boy.
i further think the fact that adam is the antichrist put against greasy being the second coming is a well positioned reflection on the nature vs nurture argument. ultimately adam grew up in a largely loving and supportive environment, and as the literal son of satan, you'd expect his nature, the circumstances of his birth, to rule out every other influence.
ultimately it does for a short time, but adams narrative iirc is that it is reflective of his desire to save the world... he wanted to get rid of things that were Wrong, and naively (he is still an 11-year old boy after all) thought that destroying the world and restarting it would do just that. his friends however reinforce in him that destruction and reparation are not the same thing, and so his upbringing, the nurture, wins.
greasy? we don't know a lot about him, only that he is a bully and represents the opposite of adam and the them... [and there exists] the whole [sic] analogy that greasy and the johnsonites vs adam and the them are meant to represent the hell vs heaven war..."
and then we have this small, relatively innocuous detail from the book:

as i said, possibly something of nothing. but the deliberate wording of 'breeding the fish', which is left out of s1, is - i like to think - a bit of a clue.
and before anyone comes for me on this, i am aware that this is based practically on fuck all of jack shit; im painfully aware of that. im aware that it deliberately misinterprets certain passages (not going to do the soapbox speech again, promise), but i just like to have fun. i honestly do not care if this is wrong; whatever happens in s3 should and will be better than anything i can come up with. yes, it's fun to get a prediction or speculation correct, of course it is, but it's not the endgame here. i get that others will have conflicting schools of thought, see things differently, or just plain think it's crap - that's okay! but, if that's the case, just move on from this post with a shake of your head. im not here to do anything other than have a good time, lads (gn)â¨đ
edit 21/08: additional reading because now i feel vindicated: here from amuseoffyre, and my tags on this post too.
#im sorry i get a bit ranty in this anon none of that is directed at you at all im sorry it ended up on your ask#but we just need to let everyone have the space to come up with whatever batshit theories they like and have fun with it#this is such a lovely warm fandom and id love to see it remain that way!!!#good omens#not a shitpost but its good omens babyyyy#ask#also i havent proof read this so if there are any errors just pretend you didnt see them#s3 narrative spec#second coming/last judgement theory

I do have to say Iâm getting a little bit teensy weensy fucking tired of the Milgram project not telling us what will happen when we vote one way or another. Not Forgive is like, by its literal meaning, just inaction, but that still has extremely detrimental effects on the characters (even disregarding how vulnerable it makes them to the others) and Forgive, as we have just seen, is not even something that guarantees a characterâs safety
Like, my point is that is if they want real good discussions about this they just need to fucking come out and say it. If itâs the death penalty, then say that prisoners not forgiven will die. If itâs something else, then they need to tell us instead.
(Also please donât mention the novel I donât care what the novel says itâs not available in English and the project that 90% of people are familiar with makes no reference to its existence or that the novel is important.)
#sorry this is a bit ranty i just think that Its Time To Pull Back The Curtain yknow#milgram#ăăŤă°ăŠă #like when people are like âhow could they have voted amane guiltyâ uhh cause it was april 2021 and we thought she killed a child#and we had no idea what our votes were even doing???#like sorry for playing the game as we understood it#anyway

đ¸ Do you ever plan on making more nichi2k comics? đ¸
Also I hope you are having a really great day!
I actually have been wanting to, alongside a lot of other oc-based stuff, so hopefully soon!!
(TMI version:)
My personal time-based anxieties are both making me rather work on projects, but my ADHD doesn't let me focus on one enough.
I do have medication n whatever, but I've been having a lot of American Health Insurance⢠troubles so it's been difficult getting my hands on what I actually need, so what I've had since I got diagnosed recently hasn't been perfect, and I think the novelty of getting that little bit of help is wearing off so that's also not making em as effective as I'd like :/
Doesn't help that I like to do projects all at once so at times I get stuck and just don't know what to do and things get put on the backburner for longer than I'd like.
All of this to say:
Yes, I want to do more Nichi2k comics and just comics in general. I really want to get my "redo" of my stupid little webcomic when I was just a Little Middle Schooling Lat out now as well, but in my mind they seem "frivolous" and I'd like to focus more on bigger projects just to get my name out there better.
Unfortunately, I lack the focus and discipline to work on the big projects by myself and that ends up fueling my anxieties even more and I just get burnt out easily now :L
ALSO doesn't help that I just. Love exploring different forms of art!!
(As I'm writing this, I just finished my first Daily Trumpet Practice and I'm abt to go try to continue learning Last Brutal Sister Flandre S on piano instead of working on my game dev project lol)
There's so much to do, but so little time in each day to do them. So I end up spreading myself thin trying to balance my week to do everything that I wanna do that I just end up burning myself out that way as well...
If only I had the same Drawing Drive as 2020 Delat.........

Bobbie do something wrong
The comments: guys she is a teenager. Teenagers just do stupid things
Hanne do something wrong
The comments: ugh Hanne is so annoying
like the teenager excuse only applies to Bobbie (and AnaĂŻs) apparently. I'm not saying anyone is better than the other, but I think Hanne is overhated
Yeah, I think it's because she's seen as a threat to Anais and Bobbie's relationship, which is also lowkey ridiculous, just because she's critical of them right now, doesn't mean that she doesn't want Anais to be together with her anymore, the same thing happened to Ava, she didn't like that Fatou was spending time with someone who was part of a group that bullied her off the continent, and because of that people dismissed her trauma and went so far to call the friendship proposal "queerbaiting", I will never let them forget that
Also, again, "Everyone fights a battle you don't know about, so be kind always."
What happened to that?? Hannes battle is seeing first hand the negative effects of weed on her cousin, of course she's going to be disapproving of Anais smoking it. I mean I don't like some of Hannes behaviour either, but you won't catch me insulting her or the looks of the actress, I'm too grown for that
#sorry that was a bit ranty#but its so annoying to see this#ask#wtfock#anaĂŻs davis#bobbie de bruyn#anobbie#druck#fatou jallow

Well after... a bit trying to figuring out how to draw again i did a little drawing
Specificly a friend of mine who watch bocchi requested me if i could draw emo bocchi, and of course i had trouble with it
So of course because of that, i of course decided to redraw it... and also the whole band each with their own style... yeah

So in order bocchi is emo, nijika is a gyaru, seika is a punk/crunch and kita is hipster (like the vintage kind)
Sooo yeah going a bit into specifs the og plan was to have them all be different types of emos... but i couldnt find distinc subcultures like gyarus or gothic, so i landed in the best next thing
Bocchi is the first i desing, and while i didnt change much from the way i originaly drew her, i changed her a bit so there wasnt so much contrastic black
Nijika was a bit more simple, althought my original plan was to give her a tan... but i kinda didnt want to mess too much with her
As for seika, originaly her desing was a little too much like bocchi so i tried to difference them as far as i could by enchanging some desing from one to another, tho i fear i should had make her pants black or grey
Kita was kinda fucked by lineart, part of me thinks that i could have come up with another color (as two characters here already use blues) but hey at least she sortha looks vintage (also yes i gave her a mustache pin, i thought that was a cute idea), tho those glasses could have been done better
#txtart#art#pencil and pen#traditional art#bocchi the rock!#bocchi fanart#ijichi nijika#kita ikuyo#seika ijichi#sorry if i was a bit ranty on this one lol#i have very conflicted feelings about this drawing#kinda like it kinda hate it#at least i got it done#and also watch almost the entire kof restrospective of 4 parts all of them more than an hour each#yeah this doesnt look as good when thinking how much it took :(#but hey at least it feels finished enough you cant win them all i would say but at least i can try

I like how the Fandom is every time with Lunar pretenting like he is a sweet guy who never did anything wrong. but for real caonon Lunar is just a spoilen kid give me what i want kid and fucked up guy. The next time he is in control of negative star power. He will use it to hurt anyone he hate and get rit of em. Just like how by the way Moon or nexus would do it, every time when they are in a delusional mental space.
ANON YOURE SO REAL!! like, as someone who WAS there when he was introduced.. is SO obvious he isnt the "innocent bean" most fan view him as..
he IS an lunar ECLIPSE after all, he is just Eclipse's and Moon code's modify to a degree but he has some trails of them, once they have an idea they dont stop until they have it, bratty and controling at some points, dont forgive or forget easy, Egocentric and selfish.. he had some sweet moments, and to be honest at first he was still a deveolping AI,he was childish and dumb because he was just new, Eclipse was his only tutor and well.. Eclipse himself didnt had the best examples to learn from.. Lunar grew with abuse, and when he was given a happy family.. he still had some evil trail on him.. like, getting mad someone made your a bodyguard? Jack wasnt the best, but he was a new live just like Lunar was before! dumb,energetic,bold.. he had his sweet side and of course people only cared to see that, is not like Moon himself didnt had those silly, dumb moments himself of being just a cute guy but is just not right.. is why I hated the way Reed suddently baby him for a while, before giving us back the real Lunar.. the Bratt.. Just, we saw it happend,he totally enojed making Moon suffer when he shared a body, the way he pushed Solar away, not caring to hear him when he was only trying to relate and help with with his trauma of Eclipses..how he was so mad he said he was close enough to hurt Moon for making Jack.. How he said he pretty much enjoyed to Kill Eclipse..someone he KNEW literally had a lead on .. Unlike Nexus, who only crime was to love someone too hard, and have a mental illness he SPOKE about..
Lunar's villain arc make SENSE..it fits with him.. now.. how much will he do? Im not sure.. idk you Anon, I kinda feel he will maybe be harsh to his family , be called out, then regret his actions faster because he will be compared to his brother.. But also I kinda want him to do many evil things.. and prove how hypocritical the family is.. because they will forgive someone who had SHOWED his evilness,,yet kill the one who NEVER had any sign to fall into darnkess..
#ask#tsams#sams#a bit ranty sorry but yea yea anon is soo right#let me know what you thiknk Lunar will do?

Au where Leland wins the battle and locks all three princesses up. Maria in a tower so high not even her birds could reach her, Lorena in the middle of a lake that she can't fight her way out of, because lake, and I haven't decided on Gwen's prison, but something underground.
But anyways, the CPC go to try and rescue them. In the moat around Lorena there's a giant blue sea monster big enough that it barely fits in the lake (it's quality of life is not that good) that's shaped like an eel with mote fins, guarding Maria is a red dragon that is bound to the tower with an illusion chain that it could easily break but decides not too for some reason, and Gwen was trapped by an armie of the undead, lead by one undead dude who looked kinda like the litch from Adventure Time.
In case you didn't guess it, these are Leland's sons. He cursed all three of them into being horrible beasts who only exist to keep the princesses trapped. For the two older brothers, their beasts had way smaller brains than humans, so they couldn't even understand the situation they were in. They're just two monsters that have strange memories. And from these memories sprouts fear. And so, Blaine and Lance are both turned into thoughtless monsters consumed by their respective fears. Until the CPC comes and gets a witch to uncurse them. First, they had to confront both about their fear and motive from guarding the princess. For Lance it's feeling the need to protect her from anything that might hurt her, and for Blaine it's mind-crippling fear of Leland. It turns out Leland royally screwed with them, however, so the cures would only be partial. Blaine's dragon-ness was derived more closely from his appearance than other transformation spells and so the spell couldn't be completely ripped away from his appearance. (Essentially, transformation spells are kind of like playdough. The original form is blue and the transformation is red. Usually these are separate and can be switched between, which is why most transformation spells can be cured, but sometimes some of the blue gets pulled make red, and it makes the two permanently linked. This is what happened with Monica's curse, and what is now happening with Blaine's) so Blaine still has a dragon tail, yellow where the white should be in his eyes, giant horns, and fire when he breathes out of his mouth or talks.
Lance, on the other hand, didn't have the problem. In fact, he could shift into humanity and into partial sea monstertude painlessly and at will. There were two problems, however. One, his brain could never completely shift back to humanity. He a sea monster capable of complex thought, not a human. Whenever Lance is human, it causes him extreme dysphoria. His human Blaine is just barely there enough to control his limbs decently, but his sea monster brain thinks that he shouldn't have limbs at all. One time the dysphoria got so bad he snuck outside and slept in a sleeping bag as an equivalent to a dysphoria hoodie. The CPC soon got him one of those shark blanket things that you can stick your whole body into for his birthday. The second issue was that Lance still counted as a sea creature. He needed moisture every so often, or he'd die. The more human he was, the more moisture he'd need. This was actually not much, no matter how human he was, but his body started freaking out long before it was even necessary. After only a couple of hours of full human form, his skin would start to feel dry and flaky, and his throat was sting, and his lips were dry, and he felt like he had been in a desert only drinking sand for the last three days. Of course, these symptoms didn't actually cause any harm to his body, they were just unbearably painful, so Lance tries to go partial sea monster, with a long blue tail shaped kind of like a whip, fish eyes, and a significantly thinner body shape.
And then there was Frederick. He had gone against Leland and ruined everything. Leland had assumed that cursing his sons into beasts had put them out of their misery, at least, so he figured he wouldn't give Frederick the pleasure. When the CPC found Frederick, he was on the ground, shaking. His flesh seemed to be rotting away in some places. His hands were only bones, and the same was true for one half of his face. They had expected some monster, but when Frederick shot up, but immediately winced. Cold mist shot out from his mouth as he spoke, greeting the club. He stuttered and his voice cracked. He was in pain. The CPC had managed to bring him, along with Gwen, back out to the witch. Turns out, he was just undead now, and nobody could do anything about it without making him regular dead. But there were some things he could do to make it suck significantly less. There were special bandages he used to hide his nerves, and couldn't scrub himself while he bathed anymore because that'd cause skin to fall off. It'd mainly just give him a heart attack and make more never to cover, but they still decided it wasn't worth the trouble.
So yeh. Curses
