I just know Thundercracker is both simultaneously an overthinker and underthinker 🙄 very impressive that he thinks so hard it’d wake his (admittedly telepathic) wife… but to give him some credit he probably thinks a lot more than Skywarp lol (yes Skywarps catching a stray here). But he probably doubts himself cuz he knows Soundwave puts up with so much of Megatron and Starscream screaming and hollering always that he’s wondering if Soundwave is just also putting up with him 😭 (I want more BoomMic so bad it’s crazy)

Might I propose some platonic exes scenarios?

Drift and Roddy having dated for a time before realizing that neither of them want to be in a romantic relationship so much as they want to just always be there for each other.

Soundwave and Thundercracker being on and off again before simply settling into a comfortable routine of sharing interplanetary media they both like and sending each other animal pictures (could also be applied to Jazz and Soundwave)

Elita and Megatron keeping in touch only to complain about "these reckless newsparks and their lack of self preservation" regardless of how long has passed

Pharma and Ratchet still bickering bitterly about treatment options on shift, but sharing drinks and planning potential new curriculums for up and coming medics off shift

Absolute cinema I need 14 more of this immediately… tho I wasn’t sure how to go about this so I just did a buncha drabbles to see where it’d go 🫡 but . I actually have thought about this pairing before cuz. The wife loves TC and Jetfire, I love Soundwave, it’s only very wise to imagine the peak of combining our favs 😌 just three gals that are honestly tired Always like. These three are always putting up with a lot and are too patient at times 💔💔

Headcanon time

Soundwave can't cook. At least, he can't cook in a way that anyone can rationalize as "normal"

He can follow recipes and instructions spectacularly, but on his own?? Disaster. Somehow, though, the outcome is always stellar food (I'd guess energon or smth. Like preparing it. Or energon goodies...) and a spotless kitchen
