The three weeks of project was worth it. It helped me learn something I probably wouldn’t have in BCIS. Working on different project every week was challenging as it was time limited as well as we had to start from scratch which helped me think deeper. Working with sound tract was fun as I was always a person who would mix sounds and what not for my dance performance back at high school. That was the highlight of the project. The second project was making out own instruments from scratch which I also enjoyed the most as I enjoy building things on my own. Being a technical person comes in handy when it comes to hands on projects. Assembling my instruments and testing it repeatedly was the best experience but I did take the risk of attaching the coil to the car battery to effectively test the performance of it as the intensity wasn’t compatible with the 1.5 nor 9V battery. Everything went perfectly fine with the individual projects each week within those two weeks but the final projects was bloody challenging as the sound would not mix even when we had the background music as well. Our groups instruments were perfect for our theme but every time we practised for the performance, there was always something that came in the way. It was either the tracks not mixing well or each member playing the instrument at the wrong time even though we had the graphic score ready on the second day but it was moderated on the third day. Nothing was working out but on the performance day, everything went well. Despite the fact, it was an individual then a group project, something that I was told on the very first week was finally proved during this time of the year of this course which was ‘collaboration and iteration is the most important aspect for everything you do in life’. <All the screenshots are shown in the first reflection post> _below
