To celebrate a successful first month of parenting, WM booked a reservation at Emika's favorite restaurant in San Myshuno - The Oasis. She was elated, thinking little of the surprise other than how thoughtful WM had become since the birth of their daughter Fleur. He'd somehow managed to balance his new tech job with being a father flawlessly, and she'd been so impressed with the way he had risen to the challenge.

"Emika," WM began, nervously clearing his throat, "there's something I need to tell you..." He stood up.

Emika found herself suddenly unable to breathe. Her mind replayed the years of their relationship, remembering their first meeting in class, their trysts at the ancient ruin, the moment at prom when he finally took their status as a couple into the public eye. She thought about the way he'd always been laser-focused on the future, their future, and his inexorable certainty about her. She thought about their daughter. She felt herself nodding her head, realizing as she did that she was more sure of him than she'd ever been about anything else.

That night, Emika told WM what her publicist had texted her. Expecting him to be enraged on her behalf, she was shocked when he instead insinuated that she might be pregnant. Both of them just barely 19, her life flashed before her eyes thinking about the baby that could be growing inside of her. "Fuck!" Emika shouted, leaping off of the bed and letting the bathroom door slam behind her.

"Okay, Emika, calm down," she whispered to herself, pacing back and forth on the cold tile. "Three minutes, that's it." "Everything okay in there?" WM called fron the next room. "Who fucking knows, Wolfgang! How are you gonna stress me out like this and then act like..." she trailed off. The test was positive. Emika stepped back into her bedroom, unable to form a coherent thought. WM stood next to the computer, having leapt from the chair when he heard the door creaking open. "Are we having a baby?" he asked, with a look in his eyes she'd never seen before. She nodded, gathering strength. "Yeah," she whispered. "We're having a baby." Silently, WM gathered her into his arms, and she could feel his heart racing as he kissed her.

"It's okay, Emika," he said, turning to look at the pregnancy test still in her shaking hand. "I'm up for a promotion at work, and-" "Wolfgang," she said, determination in her voice, "We're having a baby."

Rereading Flashback for my fanfic is getting me. Flashback is the SLOWEST book to read through but…SIGH… Fitz and Sophie were kinda cute (very cute together). Fitz kinda (by kinda I mean he did) tore down this scene

It's been a looong time since the last time I drew Anisa! (I don't know if there's anyone alive in the fandom xD). This was going to be just a sketch, but I ended up coloring the whole thing... Casually, it's been 2 years since my last drawing of Anisa... and I can proudly say that I'm improving!! I'm far from perfect, but this little improvement makes me happy because sometimes I feel I improve very slowly ;-;!! (the old drawing under the cut for comparison!)
