It is a silly thing but I thought maybe you'd want it?

The door shut with a metallic echo that rang in Alonzo’s ears. He winced, squinting through the too-bright light. Beyond the light was a silhouette in shades of gray. Alonzo tried to straighten despite the rope binding him.

“Finally come to offer me dinner?”

His answer was silence. Alonzo squinted, trying to put features to the silhouette.

“Bit cliche, isn’t it?”

He nodded at their surroundings; the stark light, the hair chair, the gray walls. The silhouette finally moved. Heels tapped on the cement floor. One black leather boot stepped into the light, followed by a pistol. The rest of the body resolved into familiar black and gold fur. Bright green eyes glittered.

Alonzo’s chest clenched.

“Perhaps,” Tugger said. He shrugged. “It works, though.”

He stopped at Alonzo’s feet. The barrel of his gun, cold and unyielding, slid along Alonzo’s jaw in a mockery of soft, warm fingers that had so many times traced the same path. The barrel pushed up. Alonzo lifted his head. A slow smile spread across Tugger’s lips. It wasn’t a smile Alonzo had ever seen: Small, cold and impersonal. A worry, completely at odds with the gun pointed at Alonzo, lurked at the corners. It looked wrong.

“So,” Tugger continued.

His booted knee came to rest between Alonzo’s legs. Alonzo could feel it against his crotch. He wondered warily if he should worry about that but then Tugger leaned forward. His thighs covered Alonzo’s leg, warm and achingly familiar. Usually there was a tease in Tugger’s voice when he rested over Alonzo like this.

The barrel tipped Alonzo’s head even farther back.

Tugger hovered over him; a faceless shadow in blinding light. “Let’s talk about what you have to offer.”

although I often use a translator to understand the text and the translator (and sometimes displays some kind of nonsense), but they make me so happy goshhhh

It's okay, I didn't need my heart today anyway...

He bows to his memory; so long and so deep that by the time he rises again, the cat he sees in front of him is Tugger. But not the usual Tugger: this is a Tugger who has, for once, forgotten his swagger and regressed into a worried kitten.
