I'm just gonna say it. I ship Fireafy because characters with trauma and emotional baggage can be happy in relationships. If you have trauma or baggage, you are just as worthy of love as someone who doesn't have it, or who has seemed to "gotten over" it. If you have trauma and baggage, you are still capable of loving someone. You don't have to feel like "it's not enough" Firey and Leafy talk things out. They work together and share a common life goal. Even if you don't ship them, you have to admit they are good companions, and that they've grown so much since the first season.
