Seven Sentence Sunday

Here’s a snippet from my (very late) Valentine’s Day fic. Just on brand yearning and bickering 🤭🤭

“Mobius?” Loki’s sweet voice sounds, snapping Mobius out of his musings.

“Yes?”

Loki smiles, and — after all the time they’ve spent together — it still proves to be lethal for an analyst’s weak heart. (It’ll probably always be.)

“Is there something on my face?” he teases.

Mobius is so tempted to grab a handful of pasta and shove it into said face, but starting a food fight would surely botch his plans for a romantic night.

“Just all the stupid, as usual,” Mobius snarks with a shrug, and continues to eat.

Loki rolls his eyes, “Says you…” but he appears more fond than genuinely annoyed.

This is seven if I don’t count the one sentence in brackets 🤣 I couldn’t leave out Loki’s response from this snippet hehe

WIP Wednesday

Lokius. Loki's concerned about Mobius' lack of sleep and finally decides to do something about it. Aka apology kink VI.

Loki sighs, getting out of bed and putting on their TVA standard-issue brown scratchy slacks. The texture is unpleasant as it always is, but it pales into insignificance to the worry bubbling in their gut. For the seventh time in a row, Mobius hasn’t come to bed. It’s become a bad habit—in fact, Loki’s sure it’s been a forever-habit since before they arrived here, but it’s one they wish to end.

“It’s not healthy,” they had explained to Mobius when they found him hunched over reports in the archives during the last sleep cycle. “You have to rest.”

“It’s not late,” Mobius tried brushing off.

“It very much is.” Loki led Mobius back to the apartment and put him to bed. He had fallen asleep almost immediately with Loki’s arm wrapped around his middle. They listened to his soft, slow breaths until they too fell asleep. The next day, they cornered Mobius about it.

“You will promise me this time. You will come to bed instead of staying up.”

“Loki, it’s fine,” Mobius said, yawning. They gave him a reproachful look while he gulped down his coffee.

“I said, promise me.”

Sighing, Mobius relented. “Okay, fine. I will go to bed on time. If I don’t, you can punish me, I give you my permission.”

“I’ll hold you to that.”

The memory is fresh in Loki’s mind as they storm down the apartment hallway towards the elevator. It’s clear that Mobius needs to see the consequences of his actions—and breaking his promises. Much as this might be difficult for both of them, it has to be done.

Kink and heavy feels? You bet.

Seven Sentence Sunday

Lokius. Loki finds him in the archives and brings him back home.

When Loki moves their head back and Mobius opens his eyes, he wants so badly to grab their curls and drag them back down for another kiss. It’s only the crease along Loki’s forehead that stops him.

“I don’t know what’s happening,” he breathes.

“That’s okay, I’m here to teach you.”

His cheeks heat up at the depth in Loki’s voice while his mind offers up images of what Loki might mean. He tries to push them down, but his heart is thudding in his chest as they take his hand and lead him back to the apartment. It’s both the fastest and longest walk of his life.

Seven Sentence Sunday

Lokius. Soulmates. Loki and Mobius face the soulmark test.

“Next.”

As one, they step forward, Loki’s strides a little longer than his but he manages to keep up. The box looms before them and Mobius can’t breathe. He knows Loki’s magic is strong, but there’s a little bit of doubt in the back of his mind about whether it will work on this machine. If they fail at the first hurdle, they’ll have lost their chance to find Ravonna.

Loki raises their joined hands up to the scanner and Mobius closes his eyes, breath held in his lungs as something flashes.

“Pass," the guard says and Loki drops their hands, leaving Mobius' feeling empty. "Next.”

Dialogue doesn't count as sentences to me, just FYI. 🤭

WIP Wednesday

Lokius. Christmas fic with Mobius dressed as Santa and Loki as an elf (because it's green).

“This is ridiculous. You can't wear that,” Loki complains, even though they know beyond a doubt Mobius has worn worse. He seems to take pride in finding the most obnoxious jumpers and shorts possible to wear, so they really shouldn't be surprised by this new development.

Mobius looks at Loki's reflection in the mirror and raises an eyebrow. “What's wrong with it? It's fun. Besides, the kids will love it.”

“Why does it have to be that colour?” Loki asks, eyes running over the red suit with white trim.

Chuckling, Mobius turns around and pulls Loki into his arms, pressing a kiss onto their lips, no doubt to shut them up. It’s become a common tactic since Loki returned to the timeline permanently and every time, Mobius’ moustache tickles. This time, he’s got the faint beginnings of a beard that scratches them, but Loki ignores that. Having him all to themself for a second is glorious.

Eventually, Mobius does need to breathe and he leans back, smiling at how Loki huffs. He cups their cheek and says, “You can be my elf, if you want.”

“Absolutely not.” Loki frowns, wrinkling their nose.

Mobius hums, tilting his head. “It'll give you an excuse to play some festive pranks.”

They feel the corners of their lips twitch at the suggestion, but then sigh because they've already lost the argument and Mobius knows that. “Do I have to wear the costume?”

“I’d say it’s mandatory.”

“Fine. Where is it?”

WIP Wednesday

Lokius. More long-haired hunter Mobius. Loki makes a move.

“You’re early.”

“And you’re divine.” Loki licks his lips, walking closer to him slowly, taking his time to really appreciate the way Mobius’ firm muscles twitch, and how his fingers dance by his sides like he doesn’t know what to do with them. He looks like prey caught in a trap, unsure what will happen next.

It takes Loki reaching him, his hand gently tracing over his forearm, for Mobius’ brain to kick back into gear. He moves, grabbing his armour and putting it down onto the ground in an uncoordinated mess, letting it clatter against the tiled floor. The noise barely registers. Loki waits for Mobius to stand up again to wrap his arm around him and pull their bodies flush.

“Um.” Mobius bites at his lip, eyes focusing solely on him. Loki wastes no more time and presses their lips together, tasting the salt from his skin. Mobius’ lips are a little dry from his long mission out in the desert, but Loki doesn’t care about that. He lavishes them with his tongue, delighting when he hears that faint gasp and feels Mobius open up for him.

✨️Under A Green Arch✨️

My @lokiusbang fic written on @spacemonolithart’s amazing art of Lokius getting married!! Eeeek!!

Lokius. Rated G. 5k. Wedding, fluff, family, friendships, talk of future children, set post S2, Mobius POV.

Mobius and Loki get married in their backyard in front of their friends and family. That’s it. That’s the fic.

The house was a mess. Not that it was ever completely tidy, Mobius mused while fussing over the collar of his crisp white shirt. He knew why he needed to wear a brand new one—he couldn’t not on his wedding day—but it wasn’t as comfortable as his worn-out TVA shirt that he sometimes still wore despite what Loki said about it.

He reached blindly behind him for the beige jacket lying on their bed and slipped it on, looking back into the tall mirror. He had to admit, when it came to choosing his outfit, Loki had taste. Everything matched in a complementary way and not just because his jacket, pants and waistcoat were the same color. Mobius knew the fine green streaks across his waistcoat and the black tie he wore all were reflected in the outfit Loki had because he’d taken great pains to tease him, but refused to let him see.

One of the stairs creaked and Mobius smiled, counting down from 20 until he heard a knock on the door.

"I’m decent,” he said loudly.

It opened and Verity stepped inside, wearing the same colored outfit as he was. She waved a glass of whiskey in her hand. “Thought you could do with this.”

"Thanks.” He accepted it and took a large gulp, sighing as some of the tension left him. It was his favorite: sweet with the right amount of burn. “I’m so nervous, I could inhale this in two seconds.”

"Well, don’t,” Verity chuckled, plucking the glass from his hands and putting it down on the dresser. “I promised I would get you there in one piece.”

"It’s in my own yard, I’m hardly gonna miss it.” He looked back at the mirror and played with his tie one more time, then rubbed at his face. “How is everything going downstairs?”

"OB, Casey and Ivan have everything under control.”

"And you believe that?”

Verity chuckled. “They might be a little quirky in their methods, but they can handle this. Don’t worry. It’s all good.”

Mobius picked up the glass and took another brief hefty swig. “It could be worse.”

"Yes, Loki could arrive any minute and you’re not waiting for him in the yard. That would be a major problem.”
