This weekend promises to be a trap trifecta where creative experimentation shines. First up is Resolve, a hard experimental trap track celebrating my resolve to not only master creative trap styles, but creative mastery with all the music I produce and create. Second is Out of Nowhere, and the track literally came out of "nowhere," a track born of pure experimentation. This track is kind of wild with a silly and serious energy to it. If you're a serious person who is known for silly moments or a silly person, you'll like this track. And last is Oceans of Thought, a slow trap track that you can chill out and relax with. First, let me say thank you to everyone who checks my page, likes my music onit, checks out my tracks on YouTube and Beatstars, and especially those who have become my fans on Beatstars. I wanna especially show love to the other talented producers who have become fans of mine and everyone who has been a fan of mine even before I started producing. This week's releases are taking a slightly different direction. After this week, you will not see any more extended or alternate versions of the music I cook up. From this point on, what I cook is what goes on the initial plate. Of course, these beats can be rearranged to fit any artist who wants to work with me. But these are the art pieces in the music gallery I was blessed to build. Also, I will be going back, one beat at a time, recreating a final mix for each beat while I cook up new ones. I may not reach my goal of 200 beats this year, but I can live with being over 75% there already. Now let's get to the lineup. This is what I'm calling the "Alt Left Weekend Drop." No, it does not have anything to do with politics. 😁😂 The first drop is the alternate of my second trap beat, "Lost In Time." I'm following up with an extended version of my global trap track, "We Are One." And last is the alternate mix of one of my hip hop bangers, "Being Honest." The original mixes are already on both YouTube and Beatstars already if you want to hear them. Again, these are the last alternate mixes I will release. And in time, I'm removing them from the catalog. If you enjoy listening to different versions of good music, this weekend will give you a chance to do so from an indie artist and producer. I'm a big fan of lyrical emcees and rappers, partly because I'm one also. But my love of hip hop was always based on the combination of intelligent lyrics, a well designed arrangement of sounds, and its positive affect on the mind and spirit. For those who didn't know, I'm also a hip hop lyricist who co founded a local group where I am called the R.A.W. Society, a group of emcees and DJs dedicated to the art of hip hop. And though it has been a while since I wrote any full rhymes, it seems my pen has re activated itself, and I've got some venom to drop. In fact, I already cooked up the track for it. That rhyme is going on a legacy album, as other emcees in the R.A.W. Society family are holding the mantle. But for local cultural longevity purposes and for the sake of helping with setting the family standards, I'm working on a personal R.A.W. Society project. The standard for every R.A.W. Society emcee is constant personal improvement. And I've always held myself to a high standard. I've been able to challenge rappers after just observing them for a while. I don't act like I'm the best, but I know I'm no chump, and my lyrics prove it. At least, I feel good about crossing the beginning line. Can't wait to make the finished albums available. This week's Beatstars/YouTube releases: It's a very important theme week for me and my fans, as it relates t ok when storms hit your life in the form of haters speaking negativity into your life. First off is a trap track named "Perception." I made it dark sounding because all haters have to comment are dark things about your dreams. Perception is about the false image your haters try to project of you. Second up is a hip hop track called "Keep Pushing." #Message. Third is another trap track called "Humility." Staying humble will keep you out of drama filled situations you don't need to be in or affected by. Humility is not weakness at all. First up is Hustle, a trap track dedicated to those of us with a dream who are willing to put everything on the line to achieve that dream. Every bit of this track screams of the desire, planning, hopes, will, pain, and struggle that goes into the work we put into chasing our dreams. Second is Silent Pain. A lot of negative talk has been going on against black men for years, but those of us who have been responsible and good men carry a weight that none acknowledge. This track speaks of the sacrifice we make that no one else does for all that we love and believe in - even in the decisions we had to make that didn't please anyone, but set us free from toxic situations, or those times where we let everything we had go in order to start over clean. This song speaks of the pain that comes from hardship, the expectations of others, and ultimately, the lack of freedom to be ourselves without negative judgment. Finally is Healing. As the picture depicts, this is about us and our maker. This track is all about what could make us whole when life and people chew us up and spit us out. Naturally, for me, there is only one source of true healing, God. This soulful track reminds us that we have help in God that we have no where else. God knows we can't do everything and should not try to take on every weight. Through this song, He's saying, "no matter what, I've got your back. Let me be your help."
