i do believe that webweave is a ship that’s inherently at least a little toxic just because of how they both are but i love to indulge myself and think about them being soft…. some of my fav scenarios include:

gale reading to minthara

baths/showers together

(this is assuming minthara can play that damn lyre) but minthara playing softly to lull gale to sleep

cooking together, specifically them showing each other recipes from their homes

gale yapping and minthara kissing him to force him to be quiet

something tells me gale can sew so, him mending minthara’s clothes or even making her new ones

minthara picking out outfits for gale

matching jewelry

possessive minthara (but in an endearing way not an insane way) ((even tho that’s good too))

So I reached Act 2 in a Durge Honor Run last week, and I realized I accidentally saved Minthara’s ass. I originally didnt know much about her, So I just winged it and recruited her.

Can I just say, that I’m thriving at Gale and Minthara’s reaction to each other???

Gale be like: I’m sure there’s a heart of gold behind that rough rough exterior of hers. Wait till she meets me 😏😉

While Minthara’s like: Wizards are squishy beings, I do not wish to speak about them 😠

Thinking about what Minthara's reaction would be to dismissing Gale as a short-lived wizard that will just die the next time he's on the battlefield, only to discover he's running one of those broken abjuration builds that are literally invincible.

Gale and Minthara Epilogue Conversation

Gale: I refuse to believe you still don't know my name after all we went through together.

minthara x blackstaff!teacher!gale? Idk something about Minthara always hating on Gale in the game (if you listened to her voice lines to him) this is hilarious. But make no mistake, she’s in charge in the bed ;))

OH MY LORD YES

Okay okay I can't write this as a fic atm bcs I am so entrenched in my Teacher!Minthara x Obsessed!Student fic but I do have some humble offerings:

So I'm imagining it like some sort of secret affair that is definitely not a secret like everyone knows they are banging, the students, the staff, everyone

but they think (Minthara thinks) it's so under wraps

Minthara will be leaving his classroom and Gale hasn't wiped off her lipstick from his lips and a student points it out and he's like teehee oh really !

He loves it

especially as since the affair his students have become much more well behaved so not to attract the wrath of Professor Baenre

Professor Baenre's students love Professor Dekarios though if she is in a bad mood they always blame him

One student had a misfortune of muttering it under their breath when Professor Baenre decided to spring a test on them to ensure they were not caught slacking.

Something along the lines of 'Professor Dekarios hasn't done his job today then"

It was said that day, a portion of hell broke through the surface of the world.

Minthara will just storm into Gale's room, throw Tara out of a nearby window (she'll be fine, Gale's office is on the ground floor) and push him onto his desk where things get hot n' heavy

Tara is not a fan of this arrangement and Gale always scolds Minthara but his lecture doesn't last long when her tongue is down his throat.

Minthara will always say that their affair is born out of practicality and necessity, and yet insists that neither of them can have any other sexual partners - why risk being unsafe?

that Gale should always keep Friday nights available for her beck and call (she is there every Friday night, with a bottle of nice wine)

that they will never be anything more (she has to hold herself back from saying she loves the fool)

When Minthara hears that there was an accident in Gale's laboratory she abandons her class to see if he was okay.

He's in the nurses office getting treated for burns not realising that's not the only 3rd degree he'll be getting.

Minthara is so mad at him and yet all he can do is smile at her, she's tearing up over him

Which only makes her angrier saying how she doesn't understand how he didn't kill himself at birth

She tries to persuade him to take earlier retirement, insisting that he is incapable at teaching

he is warmed by the sentiment - it's Minthara showing she cares in her own special way
