Nestle water in recent years has been found to be contaminated with fecel bacteria, viruses and toxins. And now the its turns out that the French government has been covering up treatment processes that don't meet health standards:
"a report from the National Health Safety Agency (Anses) on the use of microfilters smaller than 0.8 micrometers ... concluded that the water leaving wells was "not microbiologically healthy". https://www.rfi.fr/en/france/20250204-troubled-waters-french-government-under-pressure-over-nestl%C3%A9-revelations
If this is what's going on in France, who knows what is going on with bottled water elsewhere.
And it would be that company.

Going Home Alone
No matter how much you wipe
Those tears from your fountain eyes
The moon it flickers out of focus
You want to keep it simple and
You want to get back to crystal clear
And yet another night you’re going home alone
You set your tone, to silent and
Get lost in the rhythmic beats
Of ceiling fan turntables spinning overhead
You feel it like an itch in
The small of your back
Just like a moth you’re circling
Bulbs of light with tungsten
Filaments in all their artifice
And yet another night you’re going home alone
You set your tone, to silent and
Get lost in the rhythmic beats
Of ceiling fan turntables spinning overhead
Hope, she is spring fed and rippling
In shimmering limestone turquoise
There must be lovers who are heatseekers
Having never laid eyes upon the other
But you can almost make them out in silhouettes

Tom Mison and Nicole Beharie in Sleepy Hollow (2013) John Doe
S1E5
Thomas Grey, a young boy dying from the medieval plague, arrives in Sleepy Hollow. Mastering middle English, Ichabod works out he belongs to the Roanoke earliest English settlers in America, which that disease is believed to have wiped out. rather then accepting being quarantined, which doesn't seem to work anyway, Crane takes his witch-wife's advice to return Thomas to the refuge against the purgatory pestilence which was spread by Moloch, as if could allow him to join the riders of the Apocalypse.
*Ichabod references Roanoke Island (NC), the "Lost Colony" . This is an actual place, and the history he tells is based in truth. There was an actual John White who led the colony in 1587, left for supplies, and returned to find it abandoned three years later. What is not revealed in the show is that the colony was actually established a few years earlier, and involved complex relations with two native groups (the Croatoan and the Roanoke). The leader of the Roanoke came to believe his people should resist colonization. The resulting tensions may have contributed to the disappearance of the colonists.
