CRYPTID!READER SUPREMACY !!!

Anywaysss I've arrived to give Guest 1337 x Weird ass Forest slightly humanoid Cryptid Reader( Just like F.L.O.W.E.R.S they just came on their own without the spectre)

Ok so here's the plot. During rounds and during intermissions He cannot shake the feeling of being watched. I mean he knows he's being watched like entertainment by that blasted Spectre But this one feels too close. It's probably just stress or paranoia I mean he's in a killing game FFS. I mean that's what he thought till He's the last man standing on a map with a lot of forests. After narrowly dodging 1x4 for the nth time( seriously how did Shedletsky make that?) He's just lying down next to a tree when suddenly he gets bonked on the head and looks to see it's a medkit, followed by a bloxy cola ( okkk this isn't normal) Well he's about to leave when he gets grabbed and pulled up in the tree by some sort of string. Before he can even begin to fight back or even yell he gets his mouth covered by well Reader as 1x4 passes by the pair. Guest is well confused as fuck is he cooked. After Reader pokes out and confirms that 1x4 is gone, They very gently places him down again and pats him as an apology

Round ends and he's placed back to the cabin while the others are wondering where the heck he went as he practically disappeared from their spectating box. He obviously can't tell them that the literal incarnation of sleep paralysis demon just saved him.

As he heads to his cabin he places a bloxy cola and some of Elliot's pizza at the windowsill( as a way of him saying thanks I guess, idk he's still trying to process that he got saved and technically kidnapped for a good couple of seconds) when he wakes up he finds it gone. I guess they seemed to like pizza?

You could probably go home whenever you pleased but where even was your home?

Either way, you had fun watching this constant game of cat and mouse if it weren't for one figure that intrigued you.

Guest 1337. You couldn't help but shake the feeling that he was special. Something about him intrigued you.

And with the added bonus that the Spectre either didn't notice or care about your presence, you could pretty much do as you pleased.

But Guest could tell there was something stalking him. He could sense your presence but never found your pair of eyes watching from the shadows.

He tried oh-so-hard to tell himself it was stress or paranoia, given that the Spectre basically put him in a sort of purgatory. But that all came to change when he had to escape 1x for what felt like the millionth time in a damn forest of all maps.

He was LMS and just trying to recover by a tree when you decided to surprise him, dropping a medkit and bloxy cola right in his lap.

At least, that's where you were aiming. It sadly ended up on his head which you felt a pang of guilt from. But he was hesitant to take it, given that he didn't understand what was happening.

By the way, did you know your hearing was greater than his? Well, you were about to prove as much when you waited for him to be patched up and collect the bloxy cola before you used a string-like substance to pull him into the tree you were in, your strange paw-like hands covering his mouth and holding him still as you both watched 1x run past with audible frustration.

He was confused to say the least, even more so when you began to simply let him back down gently and patted his head as a way to say sorry. He was so sure you would kill him but you didn't???

Before he could even question it though, he was back in the survivor's cabin with the others quickly surrounding him for answers.

"You were completely gone for a moment!" Chance exclaimed. "What happened???"

All he could do was shrug though, because knows what they'd think if he told them some weird Cryptid just saved him...

Moving on from that spectacle... He couldn't help but think about that strange encounter over and over again, even catching himself glancing to the windows in hopes of seeing your figure in the distance... Whatever it might be.

The other survivors noticed it too but all they got was an awkward confession that he had no clue what he was searching for, just that he had an odd feeling.

Elliot eventually sent him to his cabin early with a Bloxy Cola and some Pizza, telling him to just rest up for now. "Whatever happened when you disappeared clearly affected you, so just try to get some rest for now and hopefully it won't happen again."

He didn't fight it. Just went out quietly and unbeknownst to him, you were looking back at him with a hint of affection sparkling in your gaze. You even watched him enter his cabin before approaching with care.

Any wrong move or sound and you were caught. But the thrill was neat!

Arriving at one of his windows, you noticed the Pizza and Bloxy Cola on the windowsill with a note attached. Guest was already laying peacefully in bed and trying to sleep so you tried to be as quiet as possible.

'Thanks I guess' was all that was written on the note but you took it regardless, carving a little smiley into the wood in the hopes of him seeing it in the morning as you snuck off to see how good this stuff really tasted.

And true as you were, Guest did see the smiley in the morning, chuckling to himself as he wondered if there would be any future meetings with you outside of rounds.

He certainly didn't have anything against it...

hiii :3 i have a touya drabble for u since u asked, no pressure to write it ofc <3 but here’s the idea, fresh out of a coma dabi barely surviving on the streets, and bro passes out from lack of food/ freezing rainy weather, whateves, paired with a cool teenage runaway reader who takes him to their apartment and nurses him back to health and stuff! reader was probably in bad shape after they first ran away from home, and felt compassion for someone who seems to be in a similar position :( okie sry for yapping! u get the gist! ٩( 'ω' )و

bashing my HEAD IN I LOVE THIS

when touya opens his eyes, the first thing he notices is a ceiling. textured, there's warm but very little light and the sounds of the city are muffled. it takes him about five seconds to jerk upward and fully take in his surroundings.

he doesn't know where he's at. there's very little on the walls, a sparcely furnished room and the couch he currently sits on is worn down to threads and the cushions are lumpy. whoever lives here clearly is just barely getting by.

though he's not expecting you to round the corner. you look so sweet, innocent-- someone who shouldn't be living or around this kind of environment.

"oh!" you're startled to find him awake. "didn't think you'd be up quite yet," the closer you approach, touya can see the dark bags under your eyes and the permanent crease between your brow even though the skin between them is flat. he can see tension in your shoulders even though you're hiding it fairly well. "how are you feeling?"

"who the hell are you?"

you pause in front of him. you had planned on explaining yourself, of course you did. you had a plan of how to lay the story of how you found him out while you made him some noodles over the simple gas stovetop you managed to score in this apartment. but you also should've known he'd react like a feral alleycat being cornered-- wide eyes and on the edge of fleeing if you got too close.

"relax," you state lowly, holding your hands out in a show of surrender, as if he's holding a weapon to your throat. "i found you passed out and on the verge of starvation the other night, just wanted to help nurse you back to health."

touya's lip curls in distaste. he vaugely remembers an empty and hollow feeling in his gut before his eyes shut the last time he'd been conscious. but he also remembers being hidden fairly well in the back of an alley where no random civillain would find him on a normal stroll in case he died mid-sleep.

his eyes roam your form. you look normal. aside from the glaring obvious-- your clothes look worn down and your shoes have seen better days, your apartment looks like a safehouse rather than a home for a teenager living on their own-- touya would assume you're a typical civillain who had a random flit of pity on him.

"why?" he asks, and he can't control how snippy and cold his tone sounds. from the looks of it, you expected it from him. touya doesn't know if that's the reason his chest squeezes or not.

"you needed help," your hand meets his knee for a fleeting squeeze and you ignore how he flinches at the touch. he looks shocked at the fact that you willingly touched him-- sympathy settles like a rock at the bottom of your stomach.

"i didn't ask for help," touya snaps in response, trying and failing to hide the flush that creeps along his cheeks. he tries to rise from the couch but he struggles when it comes to actually lifting himself-- he curses audibly before landing back into the cushion.

you watch the whole event happen with a slight amused expression, touya ignores it. he watches you move towards what you could call the kitchen and throw open the refrigerator. "you didn't ask, but i gave it to you regardless," you say over your shoulder.

touya knows you're making food for him. he doesn't want anything else from you, but he knows he's going to take what you give him.

"'m just giving you what i wished people gave me when i was in that situation."

touya feels his gut hit the floor. he doesn't say anything else.

years later, you find him out on the balcony, smoking with a handle between his fingers. it's been a lazy week at the league, so he can afford to let loose for the time being and relax. he looks lost in thought. staring off into the distance, if you were closer you could've seen the city lights reflected in his eyes, glassy due to intoxication.

touya looks different now. he's dyed his hair black (he never told you why, he just came back one day with the box and had asked for your help) and he's added piercings that you have fond memories of him coming home with.

the scars have gotten darker. the staples have changed color. you've helped change them so many times that you can tell when he needs fresh ones-- especially the ones along his cheekbones.

you lean against the railing beside him, slipping the bottle from his hand and lifting it to your lips for a taste, hissing as the bitterness washes over your tongue and down your throat. after you're done coughing, you look over at him. "what're you thinkin' about?"

"just us," he murmurs in response. his eyes don't leave the skyline.

the two of you have matured over the years. he goes by dabi now, you've donned your own villain name. but to the two of you, in private; you are touya and [y/n]. in private, the two of you are allowed to feel safe and content. you two are allowed to feel.

touya slings an arm around your shoulders and pulls you into his side. the action is rough and clumsy-- but the affection is not lost on you. it makes you smile, the little one that brings out the dimple in your cheek. when you lean your head against his shoulder, he rests his head on top of yours.

you feel like you love touya.

touya knows he loves you.

Name: Daniel, self-nicknamed Brown

Species: Fox

Debut: A few months before the original series starts, same day Peso joins (I hc Peso to be still be a pretty recent join when the series starts even outside of this au)

Role: No specific role when he first joins, later documents social behaviors of whatever animals they meet to the best of his ability. Generally is very adaptable to any role or task that might be needed at any moment, and frequently goes with Shellington on his field research. He also assists in the kitchen frequently.

Home: The Octopod, sleeping in a converted storage room that was previously not used much

Physical Appearance: From head to toe, he's covered in dark brown fur. He has large ears, and a very big tail. He has long tufts of fur on top of his head and his cheeks, and a darker brown fluffy neck that his octo-helmet collar goes over. He wears blue boots and usually wears a blue satchel similar to Shellington's when on missions

Personality: Quite timid and shy, though will often open up to others easily when shown some friendliness. Gets easily distracted.

Likes: Living on the Octopod, taking it easy whenever possible, kelp cakes, the underwater view, talking with any of the crew, meeting many animals/sea creatures.

Favorite Sea Creature: Manta ray

Dislikes: Being woken up at night from the Octo Alert, loud noises in general.

Fears: Being alone/abandoned, being a burden on others, any potential damage on any of the Octopod's windows.

Trivia:

Brown's favorite color is Brown (Shocker, I know.)

He was originally supposed to receive a pod room on the Octopod, with Peso sleeping in the medbay instead. But for a few reasons, Brown declined, therefore Peso was placed in a pod room.

His favorite kelp cake flavors are Classic, Chocolate, and Pancake.

Secretly writes down when he catches any of his fellow Octonauts exhibiting behavior typical to their species.

Sometimes completely forgets to write notes on and/or barely recognizes certain behaviors from the creatures he meets

He's the second shortest member of the Octonauts, first being Peso. (at least of the Octonauts that stand on two legs)

Really good sense of hearing! Bit sensitive tho

Doesn't drive any of the GUPs often, and thus isn't that good of a driver, as he prefers to be a passenger.

Relationships (some might be a bit ooc sry)

Peso: Having both joined the same day, the two naturally became close. Peso often lets him come into his room anytime since he feels bad for taking the pod room, and they've even had a few sleepovers in said room.

Shellington: Brown really likes Shellington. He often hangs with him as much as possible, and likes listening to him ramble about various sea creatures. Sometimes even goes with Shellington when he does field research.

Barnacles: Brown has great respect for the captain, but never seems to refer to him by "Captain". He's not one to be professional, and just calls him "Barnacles" instead. He doesn't mind.

Kwazii: Brown enjoys his company a lot. He likes hearing about Kwazii's stories, even knowing they're probably over exaggerated, and sometimes plays along, asking questions.

Dashi: Brown enjoys looking through Dashi's photo albums, and borrows her camera occasionally to take a few pictures of his own.

Tweak: Brown's always curious about anything she builds, and will usually ask about it if he spots her building something.

Inkling: They don't interact much, but Brown frequently visits the library to look at books. (Even if he doesn't read through much of them)

Vegimals: Being friends with Shellington, Brown frequently interacts with the Vegimals. He loves their company, and couldn't imagine life on the Octopod without them. He's tried to gain a understanding of Vegimalese, but he still has a lot to learn.

isack is endearing himself to me too quickly i fear 😔 after seatbelt-gate and his seat literally getting DETACHED in the race he pulled off a p8 finish and scored his first points!

the f1 commentators are about 2 saucy giggles away from getting sued by lawrence stroll for defamation ehsejs lance was catching strays the entire race

yuki passed liam (yesss), stayed under the radar, and finished higher than he started w dotd. i'm just glad bro was able to stay in the race 😭🙏

oscar and lando kept flip-flopping between who was faster, but neither of them had the pace to catch max. it's unlikely oscar passing would have made a difference in the race results. plus at the time of the team radio (at least, the time f1tv played it bc the radio broadcasts are always delayed), lando was saving his tires so oscar was under the impression that lando was slower than he actually was

i wonder what would happen if they pitted lando first? maybe it rly was best to pit lando second bc if the stop had been just a little faster he could have passed max for the lead leaving the pits?

price... doesn't end up liking it. takes a total of two sips, nearly chokes on the pearls, and then sets the cup down. he claims he's been around long enough to know that this- like many other foods, is probably some 'trendy millennial bullshit that'll disappear in a solid few', but that doesn't help ease the insane side eye that he gets from the cashier.

but to your surprise, ghost seems somewhat okay with it. his face doesnt really change (from what you can tell- his mouth is still hidden due to some face mask he put on), but he seems neutral, relaxed, even. he mutters something along the lines of how it isn't too bad, but it doesn't beat a cuppa- to which you chose to ignore, and how he'll probably just stick to having an earl grey in the mornings. but a few months later, you catch him at the same boba store, and you cant help but giggle to yourself.

soap fucking inhales the drink. its genuinely concerning, to say the very least. he seems to like.. unhinge his jaw like some kind of snake, and then inhales the whole drink in what you think is a millisecond. and since he's the only scotsman on the team- thinks the whole 'tea n biscuits' ritual his colleagues have is utter stupidity, so not only does he now FREQUENTLY drink boba because he likes it- he also drinks out of utter spite.

gaz is the only one with a seemingly respectable opinion about boba, unfortunately. he's had it before, multiple times- it appeals to his sweet tooth and is the occasional treat after long missions. but unlike you, gaz does not value peace, and seems to keep egging soap on in chugging unreasonable amounts of the drink. (and he doesnt mention it, as he does not want to face the same punishment as you did, but he thinks that bubble tea is sometimes, just sometimes better than his cuppa.)

How long does it take the Team (Ratchet) to figure out what exactly is going?

How much does Miko freak out once she realises that Optimus is a Zombie now? I think her reaction would be similar to her reaction to Optiratch fighting Megatron‘s undead Cybertronians in one of the first episodes but even more intense.

How does the rest of the Team react? Is there someone who struggles to accept Optimus‘ new zombieness more than the others?

I personally think that Ultra Magnus would probably have a hard time with it. Although he only comes in later. Maybe June and/or Fowler?

Ratchet and Bee on the other hand, would probably accept it the fastest (after Miko) because they are already very devoted to Optimus.

When do Optiratch officially become an item? Does the rest of the team have to set them up or do they get there themselves?

Does it majorly affect any of the later events - i.e. Optimus sacrificing himself at the end of season 2: is that or more less dangerous for Zombie Optimus?

And literally anything else that comes to your mind. I find this idea super fascinating!

Hi!! And no this isn’t too much I LOVE yapping!

1st Q: as soon as Optimus sits up off the operation table and seems to have miraculously recovered, even as all his monitors flatlined, it was immediately obvious that something was wrong. Ratchet shunned everyone and did a full examination, discovering quite a lot. Not knowing how to how to handle this, he insists Optimus stay in quarantine, but part of the virus is increased energy and sense of ‘euphoria’ so he doesn’t stay put for long. All of them are quick to catch on that there’s something wrong. Though exactly WHAT takes until their next battle to figure out, as everything clicks when he cannibalizes a con-soldier.

2. Miko thinks it’s the COOLEST SHIT EVER. She’s disappointed she can’t witness some of the carnage herself though, Bulkhead is determined not to let her see something horrific.

3. Most of them are deeply unsettled and think that because his spark went out, he’s somehow not the same person any more. (Bee never doubted him for a second, it was more the others) It takes a full two episodes to completely reassure everybody that none of this means he’s gone, he’s still himself despite drastic personality/physical changes.

4. Ultra Magnus and Smokescreen have it harder. Ultra Magnus knew Optimus from before the war, so Prime feels pressured to try and feel recognizable to him. It fails miserably as he feels like he’s acting out a horrible parody of the person he once was. Smokescreen on the other hand is unfortunate to almost immediately witness his hero and idol tearing into the troops that came to retrieve his escape pod. He’s not even remotely as much a ‘compassionate wise and noble’ leader as he was told.

5. Ratchet is having problems with Prime’s condition for a multitude of reasons. He’s quicker to make decisions and resort to violence, he’s expressive, he’s more open about how he’s feeling and that unfortunately was something he was’nt ready for. They have a steady thing that never needed too many words, especially since it wasn’t important and even got in the way of war. Now he’s seemingly thrown caution to the wind and there’s emotional turmoil. Bulkhead is sort of pushing ratchet to try and do a little more reflection on his own feelings.

6. Yes this majorly effects the plot. One of the biggest characters effected is actually vehicons, now feeling more disposable than ever. Dying in battle is one thing, being eaten alive is another.

Dark energon can create its own class of zombies, but that’s all yesterday news to Megatron now, bearing witness to a FULLY SENTIENT zombie. Can you imagine what he’d do to get his hands on that kind of power?

Of cons to be infected, a single clone may have been the first but he’s not a big problem. When Soundwave is bitten in the fray of battle, he’s desperate to keep the problem to himself as not to affect their already panicked forces. However it is proving to be a problematic virus to keep a secret.

There’s quite a few side plots, it later derails some of the storylines. SoundWave undergoes devastating angst, the autobots have a way less depressing time, and have way more familial bonding WITHOUT a good portion of the souls crushing trauma.

so this first one was inspired by the overall calm soothing feel the colour green gives. I wanted to experiment more with the colour green since its such a pretty colour 😍❤✨ and one of ur fav colours u mentioned in ur intro was green! I wanted to use red as well (u mentioned wine red 🍷 as well but I've used red for some other reqs and the vibes would've been too similar so I wanted to make it more special 🥰) so this piece (wow I sound like an old artist talking abt their work lol, which I suppose I am in a way) is centred arnd self love 💚 I wanted to remind you how awesome you are and remind me you to love yourself 💚)

for the second one, I decided to contrast it a bit. it still centres around self love but in a more, um, "fuck stupid ppl" kinda way? so this one is more realistic in a sense? So this one was to remind you: "yeah sometimes life still sucks and it'll probably stay that way at least a little bit, but you, yes YOU, can overcome it not matter what 💪. Okay, so his name is Tosh! He's either in his early teens or mid. (I haven't figured that out yet)

Anyway, so He doesn't talk much due to problems with his vocal cords (he can't talk anything above a whisper). He also has selective mutism.

He has a little fairy friend named Phoebe. Since Tosh doesn't verbally speak, he uses signs. Phoebe translates his sign language for others :D

Tosh and Penelope are companions and have a sibling like bond. (Sometimes they do some arguing and silly banter with each other)

Overall, Tosh is kind of shy. He also has some feminine like mannerisms and looks. (Because of the way he grew up, which imma get to in a second) Tosh can be very little with expressions and a lot with them. It depends, yk. Usually, when he's first getting used to someone, he's really shy and isn't really open with how he feels. He's very meek.

He doesn't really like people worrying about him, so he doesn't really tell anyone if he's got problems, kinda keeps to himself.

Now, about his upbringing. He was raised in Central Hyrule. His birth parents were young and didn't want to take on the responsibility of raising a child. They weren't ready for that kind of commitment. So, uh, they kinda just left him. He adopted mom, really wanted a daughter, and when she found this poor boy (Tosh), she felt like she needed to adopt him. But most of her reasons for adopting him were kind of selfish. She didn't like the fact he was male so all throughout his childhood she kinda forced the feminine ideology on him. She had him wear primarily feminine clothes. Had his hair long. (Which he soon cut a little shorter after running away). She was overall a manipulative person, not at all an ideal parent. He was too young to really know any better. They lived alone together, so this was his normal. Whenever he tried to disobey her she would say some really manipulative things, saying that his distrust and unwilling to listen hurt her, Yada Yada.

He did end of running away, and in that he found a little hurt fairy (Phoebe) he used his knowledge of medicine and fixed her up. (While being home for most of his life he read a LOT. It was fun to him. He has a lot of book smarts but not much street smarts. He's also not good with socializing with other people) While she was recovering he brought her along to check up on her and make sure she didn't get worse. In that time they grew a great bond and she eventually figured that she had no where to go so why not stay.

i js thought about this. in journey 2: the mysterious island josh’s libra tattoo is clearly visible. but in the first movie we learn that sean was born in august, meaning he’s not a libra.

something else i’ve thought about a lot is that at the end of the second movie, it’s six months after the events at the island, and it’s his birthday meaning it’s august. six months before it would’ve been february, which leads me to question why the pool he crashed into wasn’t covered up or anything. sean could live in a warm place, but so do i, and all pools are covered in the winter even though it’s over 50 degrees

About this silly announcement from AE... (I need to yap about it😞).

At first I thought it can be a possible remake of season one, although various events throughout the second season tell me otherwise. For example, in the 12th episode, when LB and TT go back in season one, the style it's the same.

It can be new content, such as a possible season four announcement or just something about II in general. Although they said:"We may be in for a grant upgrade" or smth like that (I don't remember).

I doubt about a season one remake because its artstyle it's important for the story, and I'm more of the idea of something related a continuation of the series.
