Hey, I know that the labs are gone, so I'm wondering what's going to happen with John and Devil Stan? I don't know if they had powers before, but I feel like I remember John being able to see Bolt's ghosts. And devil Stan was just confusing idk. Sorry if this is too much of a spoiler to respond to.

Neither of them had anything to do with the lab actually.

Stan and John keep their appearance's in box 31, but that's only due to cosmetic accessories.

All angel and Devil related things in SSEC are completely gone in box 31 cause they make 0 sense honestly and connected to nothing. (Troll and Wimp are still here though)

Like I was just obsessed with Angels and Devils as a kid so I put them in without any thought, but- it makes no sense at all.

I had this whole plot where Stan and John went into the legends box. The reason why was because Stan was a daredevil and was bragging that he was going into the box (he wasn't actually going to do it). And John found Stan and asked if they could go together, because John was born with a weak heart and wanted to fix this. NOW. Certain Legendary Pokemon have the power to grant wishes or favors to normal pokemon, the consequences for these wishes or favors vary, but they cant bring an already dead pokemon back to life. When the two were in the box, Stan got almost fatally injured by dialga and John started to have a heart attack. While Both of them are basically dying and loosing consciousness, a mythical finds them. Now. The trainer doesn't have a Jirachi, but they DO have a victini.

This Pokémon brings victory. It is said that Trainers with Victini always win, regardless of the type of encounter. It creates an unlimited supply of energy inside its body, which it shares with those who touch it. When it shares the infinite energy it creates, that being's entire body will be overflowing with power.

John wished to be strong, while he was dying, and Stan wished to save John. This caused both of them to get the abilities and appearances they have now, as a trade off. Tho, Stan got the short end of the stick, as he cant have sunlight touch him or else he'll burn while John is just like- constantly glowing. Stan also has healing while John has super strength.

FOR ONE THING! Pokémon cant die in the PC, and why do they just GIVE them devil and Angel powers????? For another, literally none of this has anything to do with the SSEC story or the lab at all. And YES that includes Bolt too cause his powers... were not from the lab either 😐😐😐 Bolt was born with the ability to see ghosts cause idk? His egg almost died or was resurrected or something cause Harmony nonsense. And the Lab only studied him, never experimented on him. His "power" was to transform into a Magical boy and these powers were given to him by his dead Friend from the lab that became a prince angel because IDK????? He had a lot of Spirit energy (which is why both were studied, both have a lot of "Spirit energy") Dont ask me to explain what that is cause I have 0 clue.

And at some point a ghost meowth who died by being electrocuted by A PC was going to find Bolt in the PC and become his friend/use him to drink up all of Bolt's spirit energy to become alive again-

My confusion is palpable. There is more to this than what I'm saying here ofc. But in general that is all just a big confusing mess to pile on the rest of the big confusing mess.

and also, Lastly, YES! John can see Troll and Wimp, but NO, its not connected at ALL. The only reason John can see them is just due to him having Angel powers from the legendaries!

I couldn't change it either cause I tried to not change established background details, so its just been there, giving me a headache for almost a decade.

Daisy!!! She now has cute yellow eyes <3 debating on if I should keep her garden fit as overalls or make it a skirt for better movement

Ofc! I've ALSO been redesigning other characters as well, if you know about what I've been posting on Toyhouse, you would have seen several non In game eevee characters getting redesigned/uploaded, currently the only one's who's new designs I've fully posted are Harmony, Darren, and Melody, but there are SEVERAL others that people who have a Toyhouse account will see if they are logged in (also Swordblade is back + Shiny!! :D I drew his new design on stream too!) The only "New" character is Gustavo, he was made before I decided to take something out of the story and I kept him because he's crazy and funny. I'm waiting on a custom design before I redesign more (non in game eevee) characters, this particular character is connected to other characters that I need to redesign, so she needs to be finished first

But i suppose I also like- need to draw some in game eevees, a handful of them are going to be evolving. I'm rambling at this point, again. oops Patreons (on the patreon Discord) get first look at literally everything I've been doing!

I'm an animator!

I mostly make animation memes centered around some of my OCs, or characters from video games or shows I like! you can ask about their lore, and I will answer. How much does Flame know about Blizz and vice-versa?

Flame actually knows a lot about Blizz. (in SSEC)

I'd say that, not including Bolt, Blizz is the closest Main boy to Flame (Like.... Blizz is prolly top 3 when it comes to Characters that Flame actually cares about, under Bolt and Daisy ofc) and Flame does actually like him, despite them butting heads a lot. (Blizz thinks Flame dislikes him and is sad about it despite this being FARRRRR from the case) Flame is a bit more on the edgy/rude side, and he doesn't really see anything wrong with it cause he's just messing around, (meanwhile Blizz takes all of his jokes seriously and tends to get upset). They DO like hanging around eachother, but Flame is def more closed off with things so Blizz doesn't exactly know much about him in return.

anything interesting happening with wiz? he was one of my fav background Eevees in ssec, so any cool stuff happening in box 31?

omg, OK SO FIRST OF ALL

I love Wiz. He's one of my favorite in game eevees and he's been that way for YEARS. I also tend to use him as a sona of some sort. Or rather, I use him to represent me in certain scenarios outside the actual comic cause I love him.

That being said, I was actually SO SAD because in ssec, I legit could not think of an appealing plot for him. And I TRIED. I gave him powers, I made him a bully, I made him a bully VICTUM, I gave him a love interest, I made him Dusk's second best friend, I made him a ninja- like... I put a LOT of effort into him but all of these ideas were scrapped or didn't appeal to me enough. So despite my hours of planning and effort, I had to give up on him because I could not think of anything interesting for him. He sadly suffered a fate a lot of earlier eevees had.. being too boring.

Here is where Box 31 comes in and saves his character

He now is a mailvee!!! like Dusk!!! There are a total of 5 eevees (including Dusk) working at the post office and there will be plots about them!! LIKE!!! actual storylines in box 31 about these guys! Mostly cause they tie into both Dusk's plot and the icedrop plot!! Speaking of Icedrop, Wiz is now in Moonshadow and he got a slight redesign to match his new family!! I'm actually really happy that Wiz's relationships are in tact as well!! Like the girl he has a crush on in SSEC (Becky) is a mailvee too in box 31 and they will be CUTE working together!!! Also despite not being in icedrop, his connection to Vic is still here!!! Which I love as well (I mean. We never saw them directly interact but they were littermates/roommates in SSEC and they were close!!! Despite Vic being a retired bully >w>;;)

Harmony in SSEC was going to get a soothe bell at some point, that's why Everything's Fine Harmony has one. As of the teacher stuff, Harmony was always a teacher! tho now she runs the box 3 school and Dusk is thankfully nowhere near it.

hey scruffy so long ne see, so the more i think about it. the more i realize why i hated Vay so much and that because he come off as whiny instead of sympatric. he a emo Pokémon that lash at people who look at him wrong (even if some who care for him like blizz). we never see much of his sad side to see why he is doing this stuff. his ego is so bad and overdone that i felt like more annoyed than funny. and his relationship with daisy has basically no chemistry due to the fact that Vay never once said a word to her at all (which i won't mind if he didn't act so delusional about it.

sorry if i sound mean after a while talking to you, this thought came to me after a watched a show called murder drone where the mc is a emo girl robot called Uzi doorman that is kind of like Vay but had some moment where she can be relatable without her emo personality being on the way.

not saying you writing is bad and all, but i am tell you why Vay is my least favorite of the main cast and how i hope box 31 can fix the problem.

Few things!!!

1- I agree with this!!! :D I wouldn’t just call Vay emo tho, because he’s also like… really REALLY SPOILED. The other main boys enabled his bad behavior so much that he thinks everything he’s doing is RIGHT. His Ego is through the roof because he wants to desperately prove himself so much that it’s a detriment to literally everyone around him, and he’s really MEAN too, mean for no reason sometime. (Let’s remember the time Blizz asked him a question and Vay proceeded to BEAT HIM UP AND BITE PART OF HIS EAR OFF). I actually have talked about this a bit in the Discord server.

2- I recognized how we never saw Vay’s good side, and that’s why the “All in a Vay’s work” chapter was made, to show that good side a bit. SADLY IT’S A BIT TOO LATE FOR THAT THO LMAO. VAY IS KIND OF A HORRIBLE CORRUPT COP, THAT IS LITERALLY HIS CHARACTER. 😂😂😂😂

3- Daisy x Vay was never supposed to happen in ssec. Vay is a creep towards her due to being socially inept. The lack of chemistry between them is very intentional.

4- Box 31 fixes all of these problems with Vay. I mean. I guess they were not problems per se, but rather, these character flaws that made Vay extremely unlikeable. I basically just took out the variables that enabled his awful behavior but kept his base goals. I shared a bit of Vay’s new backstory and life with someone yesterday and accidentally turned them into “Vay’s #1 glazer” (self proclaimed). Oops.

5- Oh I’d def call my writing bad. Or rather, not bad, but there are fundamental problems with SSEC’s writing that I will be talking about in a video I’m making. And these problems have been a huge detriment to the story and characters at large for years imo.

Personally, I love the SSEC Criticism btw!!! I do wish I can get critique from people on what I’m writing for Box 31 before I upload it and what now, but for now I guess I gotta just keep developing it. So far, I can say that I like every single character more than their ssec counterpart (except B31 Miku. Honestly I’m very frustrated with her rn and I literally have to change the entire story I came up with regarding her cause I DON’T LIKE IT. SSEC Miku, my beloved💔💔💔. Genuinely sad I have to leave her behind for whatever Box 31 Miku is. 😡😡😡😡 I’m working on her 😭.)

A thing about Box 31- Blizz can actually draw now. ^^;; it never made sense that Blizz couldn’t draw cause he literally draws stuff on the sky wall constantly in ssec. So yeah lmao, since his literal job is related to art, ofc he’d develop an interest in art + his art skills are not horrible. (Especially due to his apprenticeship but let’s not get into that)

I’ve not been on socials much recently actually, I’ve just been kind of obsessively writing/studying things for Box 31 while working on irl stuff. (Which sucks cause I’ve been barely doing art due to it, but both are important!!!)

Honestly it’s been super peaceful!!!! No stress from online things cause I’ve literally been not around. The downside being that I am so out of touch with things going on right now cause I’ve been under a rock and not talking to many people for almost a year now except for in livestreams where I only talk about ssec/box31 stuff cause that’s genuinely all I’ve been doing and hyper-fixation go brrrr.

But it’s been nice regardless, despite being busy 24/7.

LIKE! SO Much better than how I have been the past few years (idk if people have been keeping up with my “rambles of a blank” series here, but they are normally done when I have poor mental health) I was starting to think I had seasonal depression but naw. It was just the environment I was in and the people that I was interacting with.

I find it so sad that I feel so good now cause I basically had to stop talking and interacting with people almost completely (plus like- change SSEC completely) to get like this. BUTTTTTT, I don’t really know how to interact with people anyways it seems, so alls good! Hopefully I’ll learn offline, cause I really like interacting with people.

What’s Blizz’s relationship with his brothers like in Box 31?

Hmm. I’ll try to say without spoilers but it’s pretty hard.

Vay- Bad. Blizz and Vay do not talk, despite Blizz trying to desperately. I can’t say why, but there are a lot of things going on between the two of them that both have to talk about (but as usual with SSEC, they don’t)

Omar- Still developing this!!! But it’s positive!!! Omar is the only brother that actually like- kept up with Blizz after- stuff. Mostly cause they were so close and helped keep the family together along with Vay (since their parents didn’t want to do that).

Other Icedrop eevees- Ehhhhh. So. Blizz kind of became an urban legend in Icedrop, and a lot of eevees think he abandoned them as well. =w=;; oopsies.

If you are talking about the “main boys” then like- they are not related in Box 31 and aside from Bolt and Vay, have no relationship with Blizz what so ever. 😇

hey scruffy I need to talk about the whole box 31 thing and some of changes you made about the character themselves. of course, I not talking about getting rid of the lab as it felt like it was the odd one out and was better being removed. but mostly what I am talking about is getting rid of stuff that make them interesting as a character like flame corn addiction and everything about eve that made her good. (I know I said I won't talk about eve but this is important) this stuff might look like some stuff you added as a kid just cause but these stuffs make character like flame and eve more people with flaws instead of sallow characters in the background which is something is ok for side characters not main characters, it not a problem with these two only, have of the main cast have this problem two. heck the only main character that have more to them are Blitz, dusk and Vay which are three of 9 main characters. look I am not saying box 31 is a mistake. far from it in fact as the comic has some flaw and if you feel that the comic is bad and need for a change then by regard do it, it's your comic. but i have at least some something that does not make them feel sallow. that all I got, I hope the comic is good and all the concerned are wrong. so, see you (omg that so long sorry for that it turns out that i have a lot to talk about regarding this topic)

It's alright! I'll clarify!

Flame's "addiction" is now romance novels. Playpoke was removed because even though I found the covers funny, some people were actually using them to be gooners. Plus my artstyle has evolved to the point where the covers wont really be seen as parody anymore but actual suggestive material, which I don't really want. This change is much more in line with Flame as a character due to his love of reading. Also. People tend to think that Flame's whole character revolves around Playpoke due to it's constant use as a joke and Flame's lack of characterization outside of it, which is sad because he's actually really deep if you look into him and not just look at the Playpoke addiction. I feel like this change is the best for his character in the long run and it does not take away intrigue about him while keeping his actual values as a character in line. If his addiction to Corographic material was the most interesting thing about him/his only flaw, I feel like I failed writing him and showcasing his character.

I have no comment about Eve. When it comes to her I already made my decision and no one is going to change my mind. All decisions relating to her is because her role in the story has changed.

As of making characters interesting. For the remaining main characters, I am trying to not change their character arcs from SSEC too much, so don't worry about that.

On the subject of character differences, this is VERY noncanon, but hypothetically speaking, how would the box 31 characters react to their SSEC counterparts? Of course we'd be talking non-spoilery stuff here, like for example, would Dusk disapprove of how ssec dusk handles brotherhoods? Would Flame admonish ssec Flame for his homophobia? That kind of stuff. (I ran out of questions midway through writing because my brain is fried right now--)

HMM.

I mean. the characters are mostly the exact same, the only real differences being how they were raised. If the SSEC character explained their point of view to the Box 31 character, then the Box 31 character would agree and understand due to them thinking the same/having the same thought processes. THO. I do suppose there would be some differences.

B31 Daisy/Dawn would be very confused on why SSEC Daisy and Dawn put Dusk on such a high pedestal

B31 Dusk would be confused about SSEC Dusk's feelings about Blizz and the whole brotherhood system. As B31 Dusk is Older than SSEC Dusk was when he made the systems, he can easily see all the pit falls with the system and voice them out. And SSEC Dusk, who has doubled down on Brotherhoods will argue with him on that until pushed to a corner. They'd prolly agree on most other things though ngl

B31 Eve and SSEC Eve are so different from each other that idk what to say honestly.

Box 31 Vay would prolly agree with how SSEC Vay runs things and be inspired by it and think SSEC Vay is cool 💀💀. They'd prolly glaze each other and make each other WORSE.

SSEC Flame would despise Box 31 Flame and vise versa. Not saying why but Flame's situation in B31 is kind of worse than it is in SSEC and the way B31 Flame handles it will just make SSEC Flame angry. The Homophobic stuff I cant comment on for several reasons that I can't say.

and Miku, Bolt, and Blizz are like exactly the same so I dunnoooo

So i know box31 questions are tiresome and you want to save surprises, but i am curious if there are any changes to the dynamics in the cast. Stuff like Vay hating Blizz, Bolt being pushed around by everyone, Dawn and Flame hating each other's guts, Daisy having a crush on Blizz, Eve Miku and Night all crushing on Dusk, etcetera etcetera. Obviously you dont have to answer if you wanna keep things spoiler free, but I know you've mentioned box31 focusing on found family and friendship, and it has me curious. Sorry if this has been asked before, or if you don't wanna talk about this stuff yet ,:3

I’m trying to keep dynamics in tact where I can, but there are several dynamics that are changing, yes.

Eve no longer has a crush on Dusk.

Several eevees no longer have a crush on Eve

This includes Clef and Devin. But these eevees have a replacement character they have a crush on.

Miku’s love life….. >..>;; I’ll not talk about it. Look at Kenton’s profile on TH for a taste.

Levin no longer has a crush on Daisy and I’m debating on Kevin’s crush. (Cause if you know who Kevin’s crush is in SSEC, he’s like, OLD NOW. But they are both Adults and The crush has 0 interest in Kevin, sooo as I said, debating.)

Dawn and Flame still hate each other’s guts

Vay still hates Blizz

Bolt is still being pushed around, but not by the main cast.

Blizz and Dusk’s dynamic is the same, but Dusk’s feelings about Blizz did a complete 180 to the extreme end.

Dusk and Daisy’s dynamic has changed completely, she no longer worships the ground he walks on (being hyperbolic)

Dusk and Dawn’s relationship has changed slightly. It def has more depth to it. We’ll see them interact more.

Blizz and Bolt’s relationship is the same, but Blizz is more aggressive with being in his company. (Bolt is not amused, Blizz just likes being around him)

I’m working on Flame rn, he still has a long time crush on Miku and he still has a strained relationship with Bolt. Daisy tho? She’s a ?????? At the moment. As I said, I’m working on him. He had a breakthrough though!!! I could squeeze Daisy stuff in there.

Flame still hates Dusk.

Dawn still has literally no relationships with anyone. (At first :3) I’m going to be making her character very involved and showcase her actual personality more. :3
