As someone who does not follow SSO/SSE on social media of any sort (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, whatever) and avoids the YouTube community at all costs, I am very confused about the DJ Dex thing.

"Digital human", my ass. That is a computer program being run by humans. It does not have values, AI has proven to be worse for the environment, and I hate that companies are jumping on it wholesale because it's the new shiny toy even though it is meaningless garbage (AI text generators and art are shit and people who rely on AI to provide answers are either cheaters or stupid or both) AND we've already had so many science fiction media showing why relying so heavily on AI is a very bad idea.

The only context in which I personally will accept AI is in robots. Anything else for computers and smart phones? Fuck off, and quit shoving it at me when I do not want it.

This is also SSE being cheap and lazy because they don't want to pay actual musicians and artists they've worked with previously for years.

Anyway, I saw something on the Reddit post about the deal between SSE and DJ Dex being cancelled as of yesterday evening?

Can anybody confirm that?
