The event is kind of lacking for now. But I'll try to stay positive for now and say that maybe they'll offer us much more content in the following weeks. Hope they'll do something interesting with the dragons

So if I understood well: once we're done doing the rep with one of the houses we'll get the lance of that house ? please, PLEASE, tell me this is a lance you get to always keep with you and can walk around with even after the event is over PLEASE

Empty event aside, I do really enjoy walking around the camp and exploring it a bit and catching on the details, eh.

Event Speculation

I'm going to be honest, I actually like the event.

Is it a full complete event - no, but it's day 1 and we know more stuff is coming (whether or not you think it's enough, what is planned is enough for me)

You gotta keep in mind, the Winter, Fall and Spring events have been around longer. They've added things to those every year and now they're all massive and overwhelming, its understandable why summer and this Ren Faire might have been underwhelming - they just don't have the same amount of content that you get from building up an event year over year (Summer...didn't have any build up though, but I think there's a reason for that)

But here's the thing - I don't think this is going to be an annual event. I think instead of rushing a new event strategy (which I IMAGINE they're considering with summer/rainbow/birthday), the team did something they've always wanted to and made a new permanent RP area for us, which is a good thing!

Anyway, just try and have fun with what they give us lol. They could have done nothing at all, and I think they gave us a beautiful new area with a fun activity and cute clothes (which if you remember, we were given a whole set FOR FREE).

i got to 18k in the winter village event. not really worth it IMO (unless you love the tack/rewards). Fun to do when you just wanna grind something and get rewards, but with hollow woods's wisps being an option i'd much rather do that

They say that if you were to wander in the Hollow Woods in the heart of the night, you would probably see a lone rider grinding for firelies because tack is so gosh darn expensive.

Am I the only one who thought the lance we get upon being knighted would be an actual item we get in our inventory? Like idk how we'd use it, but I was under the impression that somehow we'd be able to carry that lance around outside the jousting arena whenever we wanted after 'claiming' it.

What's the point of displaying it as a reward and having a 'claim' button if we don't get anything? Am I missing something?

Riders of Fallen Dawn Introduction

It wasn't their intention to become the saviours of the world.

The Soul Riders were gone, the druids were tight lip and magic was being eaten alive. Literally. The Dark Riders need the Light Ceremony Book to bring back their lord but, like the four champions of Aideen, it had disappeared. Unable to use their magic to fight back and strung out between finding the Book and breaking Erissa free...

What are you going to do? Are you going to help the Dark Rider's with their quests or are you just trying to survive?

From September 28th to November 31st, you can choose how you assist the Dark Riders.

I know SSO prompt month is in October (hence the extended time) and from September to October, I'll be dropping some lore tidbits for y'all to go crazy with. October, I'll be writing fic with the SSO prompts and expanding the lore! Then, November...it's a free for all, baby! Have fun! Get creative! Use #Riders-of-Fallen-Dawn when you post!
