In case you're not familiar, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital never bills families for treatment, travel, housing, or food, and they freely share their research in pursuit of understanding, treatment, and cures for cancer and other life-threatening diseases. Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped increase the childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80% over the last 50 years.

Cancer research is a cause that's very near and dear to my heart, so I would encourage you to consider donating if you're able.

We found these at the estate sale of a local veteran. They were on a paracord, and I wonder if these weren't the medals he wore in combat. I almost hate to split them up and can't help but wonder what he would have wanted.

Hello lovelies!

So yesterday something was placed on my heart and I wanted to ask you all of something. So for a lil background my younger sister was diagnosed with cancer a while ago and lived at the hospital, it's been five years and she is all cured (praise the Lord and the doctors) but we were very much impacted by the people that helped her. Which is St. Judes. Yesterday, I found out several people I know have family members that have cancer, and while it's not childhood cancer that my sister went through, it's still cancer. So with that on my heart I would like to ask one thing. St. Judes has a part of their website where you can write letters to the children. They will print it out and then give it to them. When my sister went through treatment, this is something that she got, and it encouraged her and made her smile so much. So if you could, would you maybe consider writing a letter to them? I'll put a link so you can find it but it really brightens their day and it would mean alot. Thank you!
