#started my modding career with sims 2 and never looked back

rereading the story of that time in skyrim's development where the opening couldn't play bc the cart was being sent into the stratosphere by a single bee and remembering i experienced something marginally similar while modding the game

it's been a few years... but for some ungodly reason, i was going through the cart intro again instead of just loading into unbound (an alternate start mod). i guess i wanted to do the real intro again but didn't have an autosave after the ride ends? don't remember.

so, anyway, i was doing the cart ride, and about halfway into it, the game crashed to desktop. now this isn't terribly unusual for skyrim, and i was willing to move past it if it didn't happen again, but it did. and again, and again, and again...

so obviously i started futzing with my mods. i mean, clearly, that was the issue. i don't remember if i had 200 at the time but if i didn't, i still had a number well above 100. that's a lot to go through, and neither vortex nor LOOT indicated any issues, and SKSE wasn't showing me anything of use either. so what the fuck?

(fwiw, modding skyrim does involve multiple programs, but as the game was made with modding in mind, it's way easier than the majority of games that came out around the same time, let alone earlier.)

i think around this time i tried to load into unbound again, but the game crashed immediately when trying to do so. i had to find this issue if i wanted to play skyrim with my current mod loadout.

so i had a few options:

split my mods into batches and test each one until the crash occurred, then narrow it down until i knew the culprit

learn how to actually understand SKSE a little better and find the problem through it

load the game with NO mods and try to pinpoint what the issue could be to narrow it down immediately

believe it or not, i did all 3.

i started with the first, but iirc i only split my mods in half, and the way vortex works and the way things are divided made it a bit hard to do even that in a non-time consuming way. you can split up your mods but you also have to make sure each half has all relevant dependencies, you see, or the game's going to crash anyway. so i narrowed it down to half of my mods (the other half ran fine), and went from there.

this is where the last option comes in. frustrated, i loaded into the vanilla game, taking note of the setting right about where the crash always happened. i noticed that just when it tended to occur, a rabbit ran across the road. was that it? was that my culprit? i combed through the borked half of my mods, and sure enough, rabbit mod. except it was just a mesh restructuring that a different mod i actually cared about was dependent on. but hey, mods are weird, so i disabled it and ran the game.

nope. still crashed. not the rabbit.

now, i'd been hunting through reddit and the skyrim modding discord and nexus threads the entire time i was going through this ordeal. NO ONE was having the same issue i was. but there are a lot of troubleshooting tips out there for skyrim fuckery, and when several other steps had already failed, i turned to one i'd never tried before: coc riverwood.

"coc" means center on cell, and it's a console command to teleport you instantly to any cell in the game. notably, you can activate it without loading into a save. (i'm sure plenty of other commands can also do this, but i don't mess with the console much).

so riverwood is usually the location people use to check and see if the game is running well otherwise when the intro is bugging out. now, i'd been messing with this CTD issue for hours. i was convinced my game was just irreparably borked, somehow; maybe my computer simply couldn't handle the mod load. but i did try coc riverwood anyway, inputting it at the start menu, which either loads you into a default character or a character from one of your saves, i don't remember which.

and... the game ran fine. VERY fine. better than i was expecting. i wandered around riverwood, interacted with things, and saw no issues at all. so what the fuck? clearly, the crash wasn't a skyrim-wide issue, it was an issue with the cart ride.

and where is the cart ride going? helgen, of course.

so, on a hunch, i backtracked along the path i'd walked a dozen times with other characters, out of riverwood and towards the caves you use to escape helgen. i think i was just barely in view of the start of the reverse of that path when the game crashed.

so, problem (sort of) located: the helgen cell. (which would explain why unbound also didn't work: it loads you in on top of a tower in helgen when you're selecting your file options.)

so here's where that middle option came in. removing mods i knew for sure affected helgen didn't fix the issue, and i didn't even have that many of those, because why would i? helgen is destroyed and there's not a ton of reasons to go back to it outside of morbid curiosity, which i'd done enough times in other saves. that meant whatever file was the problem did not openly or obviously affect helgen, which in turn meant i would need to comb through the half of my mods that crashed the game in SKSE to figure out what was doing it.

this was at least easier than going into SKSE blind; i knew what i needed to look for. so i started looking. by loading all of those mods into the program and then looking specifically for effects or changes to the helgen cell, i could figure out what the issue was.

SKSE is color coded; i don't have it on my current desktop so i can't open it to look right now, but i know for sure that scripts causing no issues at all are green, and scripts causing issues are red. (there are also yellow/orange and grey ones, i think, but i don't remember what those mean.) usually red scripts mean conflicts, which can range from "negligible gameplay impairment" to "crash to desktop when the scripts meet for any reason", because modding is cool and fun.

so i think what i did was keyword search "helgen", and the results i got were largely just confusing for me, because i cannot wrap my mind around how SKSE works. but there was a very clear conflict in there. i just wasn't sure what it meant, or if it was actually my issue.

the script in question was from a mod that i cannot actually recall, but what i DO remember is that it was a mesh/texture optimization mod of some kind. like, the sort you install to make your game run better. it wasn't one of the big ones, i was just overcompensating for my poor old windows 7 desktop that had long since become obsolete for modern gaming, so i had a lot of them.

the specific script i was getting a conflict error on was some texture or mesh in helgen, likely an insignificant one based on what i remember... so i was unsure if it was the issue, but aware that it 100% could be.

and it was.

disabling the associated mod allowed me to enter and exit helgen as normal, with no crashes. i'm reasonably sure i did post about this issue in that mod's comments, or on r/skyrimmods, or... something. can't remember. i was also liveblogging it on twitter but no part of me wants to try and find that again (if it was even on my currently existing twitter and not the old suspended one)

i'm not sure if the mod itself was the issue or if my download of it had gotten corrupted in some way, but i never did try to use it again, so who knows.

skyrim modding is super fun when it works! and when it doesn't work, maybe take breaks while going through the arduous process of troubleshooting your obscure issue

Wormville: Rotation 11: Celwitch 2

...or is it Fiera 2? Technically, at least highlight-wise, this round was dominated by Quincy. But Xenia still gets to be the one the household's named after, given that it's technically her and her clan who owns the house they currently live in.

The round starts with Quincy Fiera and Xenia Celwitch (and their son, Vincent Fiera) moving away from the Priest's Home back into the Celwitch territory, where they have a half-finished pitiful ruin called the Celwitch Tower. The Celwitch Tower has some farming space, though, so Quincy starts with trying to harvest something to eat (or to sell to Xenia's cousin Krystal for his grocery store).

She gets distracted and somehow fails the harvest. Oh well.

Inside of the Tower, it's bare save for various mod controllers and the cheapest bathroom, kitchen and childcare furniture, but Xenia can still find a way to have fun!

When Xenia is out racing rats (or whatever they do in the business career), Quincy bravely takes on yet another outdorsy task. If you told her a week ago that she will toil in the field, she would laugh in your face. (she would still do that, though. She doesn't need a reason, she just likes laughing at people.) Anyway, she had so hoped she avoided all farmwork when she dodged marrying a Devir, but alas...

Speaking of the Devir, Nico visits shortly. Quincy begrudingly lets him enter the house, just to see what happens, a decision she soon regrets deeply. The priest starts talking to Xenia, and it doesn't take long for him to begin putting his moves on her. Quincy watches wide-eyed from afar. Xenia enjoys Nico's attention a lot, despite them having a negative bolt between each other.

Quincy grabs her by the hand and drags her to a different room.

"Can you explain yourself?"

"What? I thought we were a throuple."

"Yeah, before the fucking wedding and that lake bitch!"

"I mean, I am aware of that, but you didn't tell me that I had to stop flirting with Nico, too. We don't ever do anything more than just flirt, you know it. It's just words."

"I guess technically you're right. Still, I'd be happy if you showed me some solidarity. I thought you said you weren't attracted to him anyway!"

"Not physically, I'm not. And as far as I can tell, it's mutual. It's just... nice words and attention are just sweet, they make you feel good, even if you don't plan on fucking that person."

"Am I not giving you enough?"

"Said the woman with... how many? At least two girlfriends and three boyfriends?"

"Let's talk more in the evening. I don't want Nico to overhear. You know what? I'm gonna go out, clear my head."

And so Quincy goes. Her steps lead to what is basically her territory, her court, her happy place: The Sweet Discretion.

Guess who arrives very soon after! (and yeah, Iulius is there too, but Quincy isn't exactly in the mood to catch up with her brother)

"Did you follow me here?!"

"No. If you look at my schedule, you'll see that I'm supposed to be here."

"What for, anyway?"

"To watch the fish."

"Nico."

"Actually, the real reason a priest should regularly visit the most frequented social spot is to mingle with my flock, never let myself forget I'm a part of this community. See you around! Have fun, Quincy."

Quincy's death glare follows him. But... I mean, why NOT? She'll show him "fun." With that, she pretends the priest stopped existing, and scopes the room.

Gillian Cables. A Romance Sim, technically an outsider, but closer to wormhood than most. He's there, looking good, he's perfect.

Technically, there are two families of playables in Wormville that I don't actually play: Misery and Cables. They're usually the result of me showing the game to a friend and letting them make some Sims and build a house for them. I use them sometimes - they're my testers. When something technically more complicated pops up that needs a Sim I can manage it through, or I need to playtest a location, I don't "risk" my actual story Sims so I don't make a mess in their current situations, I take a Cables or a Misery. They can become full worms eventually through partnering with a worm, though that hasn't even been close to happening, yet.

"Hiya, handsome. I have a problem you could help me with. Care to hear my proposition?"

"Always an honor to be propositioned by gorgeous ladies."

"So, you know Nico, our priest? If you don't, that's fine. It's the ginger in red. He cheated on me and I want to make him hurt."

"By letting him see us have a good time, I presume."

"Exactly. The time's gonna be actually good, though. It's for real, we'll just make sure to keep in Nico's field of vision. You in?"

"Sounds like a winning situation to me. How about we started by grabbing a drink?"

"I already like you."

The date turns out very successful, indeed. Quincy and Gillian get acquinted and actually click. Too bad Quincy isn't interested in anything serious in the slightest. (or, perhaps, since Gillian is a Romance Sim, that is actually a plus in his book) Quincy leaves Discretion satisfied, not just from having good time, but also her fantasies about how much it must've pissed Nico off.

The next day, his moms throw a birthday party for little Vincent. I'll share some pictures from it in the child update, for now just enjoy the highlight: Krystal Celwitch and Fabian Beldine having a conversation under socially acceptable circumstances. It's hard to tell which one of them is being the weirdo, so I'll just presume it's both.

In the evening, Quincy returns to do what she does best - wrapping people around her little finger. She meets Mina Anora and decides to shoot her shot. Why not? Mina's always been very pretty, and Quincy is confident that evaluation goes both ways. They have never talked much and have never tried to have anything with one another, but there's a first time for everything, right? Aware of Mina's history with Iulius, Quincy smiles to herself. She'll let her experince the better Fiera sibling now.

But in the midst of trying to charm Mina, she keeps getting distracted. She sees Oliver Devir walk by. Nico's twin sibling. Percy's futile crush. Her... friend. Why is she even wasting her time with Mina? She can spend the night with Oliver - yes! The bonds that indirectly tie them make her feel a bitterseet kind of pain, and she's in the mood for twisting those knives.

"Not now, Quincy. Please, don't take it the wrong way, but maybe not ever. I just don't see you like that."

Nevermind. Despite having high relationship and relatively strong chemistry, Oliver keeps their wits about themselves and turns Quincy down. Perhaps they can tell that dating around with your almost-girlfriend's girlfriend who tried to revenge-seduce your spouse in college is not the brightest idea.

Oh well. Back to Mina we go. And she, unlike Oliver, is delighted by Quincy's invitation. Maybe this won't be a complete flop after all!

But then suddenly... Quincy just can't help herself. Mina keeps talking, and she half-heartedly responds, next thing she knows, they're kissing and it feels nice, but she's not really fully there. Everything keeps reminding Quincy of Nico, even the color of Mina's hair or the spark in her smile. She goes through the motions, she entertains Mina and gets entertained by her in return, they even end up woohooing, but... When Quincy leaves that night, it is with a hazy feeling of needs unmet. It's not Mina's fault. It's not her fault she simply isn't the one who kept occupying Quincy's mind.

A certain dimension of awkward is unlocked when a mother and her teenage child meet in front of stranger's door: One to deposit flowers, the other to steal their newspaper.

Next day, Quincy ventures to the Discretion, as always, and this time "accidentally" catching the hours she knows the priest is scheduled to be there. She doesn't want to talk to him. She hates Nico Devir. He's been making her life a living hell! But when she sees him at the poker table with Zachary, she gives in to the urge to join the game. For Zachary's sake, of course. (ignoring the fact that Zachary remembers how she treated him in high school and can't stand her) She tries not to even talk to Nico, but they still do, they're sitting at one game table. And... it's nice.

(Zachary and Nico are in their pyjamas for a reason. This is a modded object - it's actually strip poker, and Sims go from their casual to sleepwear to underwear, as they keep losing. And yes, that's what Zachary and Nico were playing. #problematic)

I know, by this time you're probably sick of Quincy and hungry for Xenia content. The Sixamese ship flying through the sector was, too.

Luckily, Xenia returned in one piece and not pollinated. Quincy slept through it and didn't even notice her partner went missing for most of the night.

Somebody else came to check on Xenia's wellbeing in the morning, though. But Oliver couldn't stay for long. They were just running errands for their farm and their spouse's store.

Alone, with Quincy running around Entity-knows-where, and little Vincent sleeping, Xenia isn't even surprised to catch Mina Anora sneaking on her property. Mina shrugs, pulls out an entire hot tub from her bag, deposits it in the apple tree, and leaves.

And when Quincy sleeps after a night spent partying, Xenia takes Vincent for a walk through the settlement, and they visit the car dealership. Their household has almost no money (most that comes in goes right into repairing and furnishing the tower), but with Xenia's earnings from her blooming career, Quincy's (much smaller) earnings from hers, but more significantly, Quincy's gifts from her lovers (and the 1000 she won from the Devir siblings in strip poker earlier), Xenia decides to finally buy herself a car. (and several cans of paint, since orange is not her vibe)

Oh, yes, Quincy's night spent partying. That's deserving of an explanation.

It's the evening of the previous day, when Quincy receives a call from Bennett Jilleni. She tells him about her recent exploits, and he suggests she should take a break from her conquest and remind herself there are more things in life than sex and vying for adoration. Why doesn't she come along to Downtown and indulge in her love for music and dance? And Quincy says yes. She's been feeling awful - and maybe, just maybe, a hangout with a group of friends, only friends, and some solid tunes is just what she needs to get over Nico.

Bennett also invites Beatrice, Felicia, Cyrus (as you'd expect) but also Genevieve and for some reason geriatric Abigail Hanson? Dance, grandma, dance!

Quincy doesn't end up dancing for long, though. The DJ in the Crypt-O-Night club is horrendous in her opinion, and she ends up pushing her away and hijacking her job. It feels great.

Maybe that's it. She's been neglecting so many of the things she loves since her breakup with Nico, trying to desperately assert her ability to conquer anyone she lays her eyes on, it had her slowly coming undone. Maybe she just needs to end it. Decide whether she forgives Nico and tells him she can't stop loving him, or whether she will just accept their separation as final. With determination, she heads to the Temple the next day.

He's not there, so Quincy at least prays and meditates. Then she looks at the priest schedule. As irony would have it, it seems like Nico is in Discretion once again. It's not just ironic because that's where they kept encountering each other these days, but also because it was there they first started properly speaking post-college after disliking each other in high school, and there where they fell in love.

She has a feeling, perhaps divine inspiration, that if she doesn't go there now, she will miss her chance forever.

...which turns out to be completely correct. Nico seems to have sought out a rebound of his own - and things look hot and heavy between him and Beatrice. Not on Quincy's watch! She shoos Bea away (fighting off some difficult feelings, since Beatrice Jilleni speaks to Quincy's heart as well, way too much), and requests to speak with the priest.

"With me as the priest, or with me as Nico?"

He climbs out of the hot tub.

(The only thing I clicked was "Greet"... I guess she has decided.)

...and Quincy, losing the battle against her pent up emotions, answers his question without saying a single word.

Then she apologizes. It's not something that comes naturally to Quincy Fiera. Proud is her middle name, to apologize means to lose, to debase oneself. But she understands that sometimes life leaves her no choice. She says sorry for not cancelling the wedding sooner and running away mid ceremony, causing a scandal. She says sorry for overreacting when she heard him flirt with that unknown woman, hitting him and spreading the false narrative he cheated on her despite being broken up at that point in time. She apologizes for being an ass in general.

He apologizes for not talking to her sooner, and for making her feel worse by being lovey-dovey with Xenia right in front of her... and for kicking their trash can at least 5 times last night.

All apologies are accepted. Quincy and Nico actually decide to spend the rest of the evening together. It is a date, like the old times!

No. Nico. Don't go there. Please. No. Not again.

It actually goes so well that another Quincy spawns and takes Nico to woohoo in the photobooth while the original Quincy watches. I'm making a consious decision to explain it as Quincy just being so overwhelmed by emotions and so lost in the moment she dissociated for a while. Or maybe it was Nico's doing (but not on purpose). Maybe if you're having sex with somebody basically riddled with eldritch gunk and get really unlucky, you can get a short out of body experience because your brain doesn't handle the secondhand contact with an old god. (technically thirdhand. Nico's contact with the Entity is not firsthand either, otherwise he would be dead.)

Behind the scenes: I've googled around, and couldn't find this exact bug anywhere else. There is a well-known glitch with apartments sometimes duplicating Sims, but Quincy has never even seen an apartment building in her life. A Sim can also get duplicated when deleted with moveobjects, which Quincy also wasn't. I made the copy selectable and for all purposes, it seemed to be recognized as the exact same Sim by the game - to the point I couldn't select any of the Quincies without the other one being selected, too. The copy woohooing Nico also did not trigger jealousy in the original. So... I just had Quincy, the real one, leave the lot, hoping it was just an instance of her getting erroniously spawned twice and not an entire new Sim born out of a duplication bug. In any case, it's not among the signs of corruption.

Anyway, Quincy feels ready to tackle the world again. She no longer neglects her hobbies, she no longer neglects her feelings... she's not neglecting anything, really!

...or is she?

Mouse's Sims 4 Apocalypse Challenge

Skip all these first paragraphs if you want to just read challenge rules, I tend to ramble.

So a few weeks ago I looked into doing the Sims 4 Apocalypse Challenge, as I'd never done it for 2 or 3, and I've been back into my sims obsession big over the last few months.

Unfortunately it turned out while the OG creator of the challenge did write rules for it, he never updated them for expansion packs. I did manage to come across these updated rules by Poopsie Sims, though I realized this still didn't technically cover everything I had access to with my Acquired dlcs. So, I added a couple of things for myself, and started the challenge, but as I do, I got bored the second it got too easy for me (which in sims 4 doesn't take long the second you figure out an exploit to get around the rules, lol).

Then I came across the Ultimate Decades Challenge. This is not apocalypse related, but rather a challenge about moving a family through time starting in the 1300s.

And this challenge involves dice rolls. Many dice rolls that love to kill your sims. I loved this, and decided on top of the regular apocalypse rules, I would add some dice rolls of my own to ensure my game always had some struggle with it.

What is the Apocalypse Challenge?

The idea is your sim family is trying to rebuild after the apocalypse, and they accomplish this by reaching the top of careers. You start with a buttload of restrictions that make your life difficult which are slowly lifted as you complete careers. The first version was created for sims 2 and was popular enough some version of it has existed for every sims game since. It's generally known as being a more difficult challenge, especially in the early days, and takes multiple generations to complete.

This version of the challenge is my compilation of rules a couple of other people put together (Pinstar and poopsie sims, linked above) with a little extra, then some dice rolls at the end for my own enjoyment.

This rule set is meant to include almost all current dlc content- but doesn't necessarily include every single thing in the game currently.

Also please note there is story and reasons given for these rules in the original challenge and in poopsie's update, but I was too lazy to add those right now. Maybe I'll come back to add it later. Otherwise feel free to read the flavor text for those challenges or make up your own!

Permanent Rules

No cheats, CC, or mods allowed that would give you an advantage over another player who does not have them. Exceptions are made for using the Money cheat to reduce family funds according to family restrictions, to fix bugs, or for additional dice roll challenges (such as aging a sim or killing them) listed at the end.

You must play on normal lifespan

You may not adopt

You cannot age sims up early (barring special optional mechanics listed at the end).

You may only start with one sim (teen or older), though this sim may have whatever traits, reward traits, or skills you want. They may be a freshly made sim or a previously played one.

However, a previously played sim may only begin the challenge with 2 objects in their inventory. They can bring any 2 objects, but if the object violates any restrictions it may not be taken out of the inventory until that restriction is lifted, and DOES count towards inventory restrictions in place.

May only move in one sim per generation, and that sim must be the spouse of the heir/contributing to the creation of the next generation. Once the Private Attorney career has been unlocked, you may move a spouse out and move a new one in, but only children produced through the new coupling may be considered for 'heir'.

Only direct descendants of the founder and spouses to any heir may lift restrictions.

Once a sim has been moved out, if that restriction is lifted, they cannot be moved back in, and can no longer contribute to lifting anymore restrictions.

All career restrictions must be followed until a career is lifted.

No career progress made before the beginning counts towards lifting the restrictions. Any career held at the start of the challenge must be quit.

Only one part time job and one full time job may be lifted per individual sim. Any additional careers will not count towards lifting restrictions. (You may restrict it to only job at all per sim if you like.)

Optional Restriction: Each branch of a career counts as one full time job. Two sims are required to finish each branch of a career.

Cannot be a landlord/rent out space until Judge, Detective, Politician, and both Secret Agent branches are completed.

Broken rules or your family failing to lift all restrictions (whether all the sims die before they're able, ect) results in failing the challenge. Accidentally breaking the rules is fine, just try to fix it if at all possible.

You can only play the apocalypse family in that save until the challenge is complete.

Optional Restriction: Place every available lot challenge on lot. May remove off the grid and two other challenges of your choice when charity organizer is completed, and otherwise may remove one challenge per full time career completed. Once all challenges are removed, you may add a positive lot trait per full time career completed.

Getting Started

You may move into any lot you can afford with 20k or less. A prebuilt building on the lot is fine as long as it follows all restrictions of the challenge in place at the beginning and falls within the initial 20k price range. Once you've moved your sim in, you MUST zero out the family funds to $0.

Full Time Career Restrictions

Tech Guru

(1)Startup

You may only buy the worst objects in any given category-i.e., objects with the lowest cost/worst stats, whichever comes first. If two items have the same price point, buy whichever one has the worst stats. If two items have the same stats, buy the more expensive option. If both cost the same and have the same stats, go wild.

(2)Esports Gamer

You may only own the worst, cheapest computer, and may only use it for career related tasks/daily tasks for careers.

Business

(3) Investor

Cannot sell items in buy mode. Cannot sell collected/harvested items. No Geo Council, Cannot use publisher for books (can self-publish) Cannot publish songs, cannot write jingles. You may get rid of crafted items from skill building (i.e., flower arrangements) but must cheat away the profit.

(4) Management

Can't take days off. Must quit job if ever late (by more than an hour) miss a day or come home early. Cannot retire, Must use "work normal" or "work hard" modes at work. Cannot re-take lost job.

Culinary

(5) Chef

No Fridges, Stoves, Ovens, Microwave Ovens or coolers. Only the cheapest grill may be used regardless of other restrictions lifted.

(6) Mixologist

No drinks of any kind, No reward potions. Cannot brush teeth at sink. Newborns cannot be bottle fed (Exception may be made if breastfeeding sim is not available). (Can make drinks to practice, but must throw them out)

Astronaut

(1) Space Ranger

All objects besides mailbox and outdoor trash cans and rockets must be indoors, cannot use tents. Cannot go on vacation, cannot stargaze or cloud watch or use telescope to watch the sky. Cannot enable mood auras on any objects.

(2) Interstellar Smuggler

Cannot place, use or sell career reward objects. May not upgrade any objects besides rockets.

Painter

(3) Master of the Real

Cannot paint mood-aura paintings, Cannot create emotional aura items on workbench, May not write emotional books.

(4) Patron of the Arts

May not sell sim-produced objects. May not self-publish books.

Writer

(5) Author

May not order books, May not visit library lots nor add book cases to existing lots.

(6) Journalist

Limited career choices. Each career is assigned a number 1-6. You must pick your career from the choices associated with that number. This may only be done once per day, and only for one sim at a time. May only re-roll for a sim if they are fired or forced to quit due to other restrictions.

Secret Agent

May not travel to any vacation world. May not go to festivals.

(2) Villain

May only utilize an 8x8 grid of your lot. All objects and build mode items must be in this grid (except for harvestable plants).

Entertainer

(3) Musician

May only 'practice' on instruments. Cannot buy or use radios or stereos. Cannot change a sim's aspiration (Besides the forced childhood to adulthood change) Cannot pin whims. (Once finished, you may pick one good lot trait, assuming Charity Organizer is lifted.)

(4) Comedian

Cannot throw parties or go on dates, May only invite one sim to join the household per generation. Cannot use mirrors.

Criminal

(5) Boss

Every Sunday, use money cheat to reduce household's wealth to $0. Must use the money cheat to remove any funds brought in by a sim joining the household.

(6) Oracle

May not cancel autonomous actions unless they break the rules. May not issue commands or cancel autonomous actions of elders (unless they break a rule).

Athlete

(1) Professional Athlete

May not purchase reward traits for your sims. Gym equipment may not be used by anyone outside the athletic careers, unless needed for career (mentoring).

(2) Bodybuilder

May not move or sell objects with a footprint larger than 1x1 once placed, Sims cannot carry more than three stacks of items in personal inventory at a time. Cannot remove items from family inventory regardless of size. If you purchase something that appears automatically in inventory, you must remove it immediately

Critic

(3) Arts Critic

Cannot purchase wall hangings, sculptures, or rugs from Buy Mode, at fair, or from any other source. No holidays.

(4) Food Critic

Sims may not start a business or restaurant. No purchasing pre-made food or selling crafted food. May not use birthday cakes. No baking.

Gardener

(5) Botanist

Sims not in the Botanist career cannot plant, grow, level up, graft, take samples of, or otherwise cultivate plants. (Wild plants may still be harvested).

(6) Floral Designer

Keep track of seasons and change their settings to make the longest winter possible. Cannot place cow plant, decorative plants, wedding arch, terrain tool, order seeds, wishing well. Lot must be dirt or sand, but you can otherwise live in any neighborhood.

Politics

(1) Politician

Active careers may not be taken (no funding going to professional infrastructure).

(2) Charity Organizer

Your lot must be Off the Grid, and additionally have two of the following traits: Quake Zone, Volcanic Activity, Cursed, Grody, Gremlins, Filthy, Haunted, Needs TLC, Creepy Crawlies (off the grid may be lifted to get a career, then you better turn it back off again)

Social Media

(3) Internet Personality

Sims may not use any object that raises a fun or social need that does not also have some practical use. May not pick aspiration, must be randomized.

(4) Public Relations

Sims may not start or join clubs. No traveling to lots with sims that aren't in the household. No inviting sims over unless in love or engaged

Style Influencer

(5) Stylist

Sims may not change clothes. No Social Bunny or Simstagram

(6) Trendsetter

Sims may not wear makeup or accessories. Sims may not change their hair.

Military

(1) Officer

No traveling to community lots at all. Sims may not move out.

(2) Covert Operator

May not use or place supernatural abilities or objects. This includes any alien, vampire, or plantsim interactions, strange fruit, wishing well, gnomes, Patchy, crystal crown, etc. May not move, sell, delete, or release to underworld urns or graves. (When this is unlocked you may add one good lot trait once/if Charity Organizer is lifted)

Education

(3) Professor

No college. Engineering restrictions may only be suppressed. (When this is unlocked you may place one Inspiring or Focusing mood object.)

(4) Administrator

Teen sims may not go to school. No sim may help with homework or tutor another sim in any way, unless required by career. If Professor track is unlocked, sims may not live in dorms, or get a degree from home. They must live in off-campus housing, which must follow all apocalypse rules that apply to the home lot.

Law

(5) Judge

Criminal, Politics, and Detective careers may only be suppressed.

(6) Private Attorney

You may not perform any “Get to Know” social interactions on any potential candidates for marriage. No divorce or breakups.

Engineering

(1) Computer

No robots. May only buy the worst computer even if Tech Guru - Startup and Scientist are unlocked. May not use or place microscope, chemical analyzer, or any other high-tech device unless needed for a daily task. Can't use cell phone except to take/quit jobs. No TV or electronic notepads. Phone restrictions are lifted on Saturdays from 12 to 6.

(2) Mechanical

May not build fountains, may not place fish tanks. May not place more than two items from build mode per day. Must use cheapest Build Mode materials, even if Tech Guru is unlocked.

Conservationist

(3) Environmental Manager

cannot interact with wild animals, befriend them, give gifts, ask for help, or have rabbits/birds on your lot, ect. Plants can only be harvested once per season or once every seven days if grown indoors. Is only suppressed until botanist unlocked.

(4) Marine Biologist

Cannot travel to other worlds regardless of other restrictions that have been lifted.

Civil Designer

(5) Civic Planner

Cannot vote on neieghborhood action plans

(6) Green technician

cannot keept chickens, cows, or llamas, cannot grow plants indoors/in greenhouses. Is only suppressed until botanist unlocked.

Salaryperson

(1) Expert

must always choose "work hard" option. Sims may not network for jobs.

(2) Supervisor

Traits AND aspirations must be randomized when growing into children, teens, and adults. must accept all self discovery traits.

Actor/Actress

(3) Social Media, Style Influncer, and Entertainer restrictions may only be suppressed.

Veterinary

(4) Cannot have pets/horses

Scientist

(5) No electronic devices except a computer regardless of other restrictions lifted. May not use "science baby" option either alone or with another sim.

Doctor

(6) Cannot use showers/bathtubs, any water-using objects except a sink. Must "Try For Baby" when woohooing if option is available. Cannot take pregnancy test, cannot buy or make medicine.

May also set woohoo to a percentage change for a baby if a mod such as MCCC is installed, though it must be at least 30%.

Detective

(1) Children, Teens and Elders may not leave the lot for any reason without 5 fitness points. Children going to school is the only exception. Teens must still have 5 body points to attend school if that restriction is lifted.

Part Time Career Restrictions

Babysitter

(2) Cannot control infants or toddlers. Must use randomizer for infant and toddler traits. May only choose one toy for kids.

Fast Food

(3) Cannot get anything from the "Quick Meal" option on the fridge or cooler, may not order chips from a bar, may not order pizza.

Manual Labor

(4) May not hire service sims (Maid, gardener, nanny, butler, ranch hand, anything I forgot about).

Retail Employee

(5) May only enter buy/build mode on Sundays. May only "Replace" broken objects on Sundays.

Barista

(6) May not purchase or use any coffee or tea related objects. Cannot purchase or use the lump of clay object.

Fishing

(1) No eating fish or fishing unless in the fishing career.

Lifeguard

(2) No going to beaches or swimming in lakes/rivers/ocean.

Diving

(3) No swimming/using any boats/snorkeling unless in diving career.

Simfluencer/Video Game Streamer

(4) teens cannot join after school activities or go to prom

Additional Rule sets-Dice Rolls!!!!

Inspired by the ultimate decades challenge, I created a few dice rolls for my own apocalypse challenge to increase the difficulty of the challenge a little for me, and keep some challenge throughout the entire challenge.

Radiation Rolls

You must roll for every sim child and older when leaving for work/going to another lot

Roll 1d20

A 2, 6, 10, 14, or 18 causes radiation damage. This radiation causes the sim to age by 4 days instantly (obviously cheats may/must be used for this). If this results in a sim aging up any additional days must still be added to their lifespan. (I.E., if a sim is 2 days from aging up and ages 4 days from radiation, after aging up they still need to be aged up another 2 days to ensure they're aged up for all 4 days).

A 1 results in instant death. Cheats may be used to kill the sim. Any progress made in a career does not count towards lifting a restriction unless the career was completed by that sim before death.

pleading with death reaper IS allowed. Other ways to avoid death dependent on career restrictions

Radiation damage is reduced once Scientist, Environmental Manager, and Floral Designer careers are completed

A 1d20 is still rolled anytime a child or older sim is leaving for work/going to another lot

A 6, 12, 18 causes radiation, the sim ages by 2 days. No roll can result in death.

Radiation Storms

Every 4 days, roll for the chance of a radiation storm rolling in

Roll a 1d6

1-4 results in a storm rolling onto your lot, 5 or 6, nothing happens.

If a radiation storm rolls in, do a normal radiation roll for each sim.

If a sim leaves the indoors at all for 24 hours after the storm rolls in (as in going into the yard or on a porch or any area the game considers outside), a normal radiation roll must be done.

Frequency of storms are reduced reduced once Scientist, Environmental Manager, and Floral Designer careers are completed.

If reduced, roll a 1d6 once every 7 sim days

A 1 or 2 results in a storm

Rolls are the same as the reduced radiation rolls.

Once a branch of the astronaut career has been completed, the family is granted a "radiation suit." This suit prevents one sim from having to roll for radiation damage at all for 14 sim days. These days do not have to be consecutive, and it does not have to be the same sim every day it's used. After 14 days, wear and tear on the suit is too much to be used any more. The family can earn one suit for each astronaut career branch.

Disease Rolls

Anytime a sim becomes ill naturally (Cold, food poison, Get To Work illnesses) roll a 1d20. Must roll again every 3 days a sim continues to be ill.

If you roll a 2-10 or 17, it results in a loss of 4 sim days.

A 1 or 13 result in instant death.

Once Doctor and Botanist careers are unlocked, rolls are reduced, and sims will no longer die from illness.

Once reduced, if you roll a 2, 10, or 17, it results in loss of 2 sim days. Any other roll has no consequences.

Travel Disease Rolls

Anytime a sim travels to a community lot they must roll for a chance of catching a disease.

Roll a 1d6

1 or 4 results in catching an illness. If the sim catches an illness, normal disease rolls apply

If normal disease rolls have been reduced, then only rolling a 1 results in catching an illness, and reduced disease rolls apply.

Note: Poison and Rabid Rodent Fever, I.E. in game illnesses that can cause death do not require rolls. You either have the medicine you need or your don't.

Werebies does not count as an illness for apocalypse purposes.

Growing food

if planting/growing plants is unlocked or temporarily allowed, you must roll for crop loss every season before harvest or every 7 days if growing indoors.

Roll a1d20

A 1-6 results in 100% loss of crops. All current plants must be deleted immediately and before harvest (though any food in inventory may be immediately planted).

A 7-12 results in 50% crop loss. 50% must be deleted before harvest (you may choose which plants or randomize, up to you). If there's an uneven number of plants, delete higher number (i.e., if you have 7 plants, you'd delete 4, not 3)

A 13-20 results in no crop failure

Once both Gardener and the Green Technician careers have been unlocked, failure rate is reduced

Once reduced, a 1-7 results in 50% crop loss

A 8-20 results in no crop failure

Livestock Rolls

If livestock has been unlocked, then you must roll a 1d20 once every season or every 7 sim days if livestock are on the lot.

If you roll a 1, 5, 10, 15, 20, then at least 2 livestock animals must die. If multiple kinds of animals are on lot, the two that die must be different types of animals (I.e., if you have cows and chickens, one cow and one chicken must die). You may sell the animal to simulate dying, but must remove any profit gained from selling the animal.

Once the Veterinary career has been complete, livestock death is reduced.

If you roll a 1, 10, or 20, one livestock animal of your choice dies.

Hidden Springs Houses

So, I decided to take a wee break from community lots and start on the task of fixing some of the houses in this world. And the first one was the family home of the local royals.

I think I found this over on Mod the Sims, and like everything I download, I went in and changed stuff. Currently there are only 2 playable floors as opposed to the 3 or 4 that there were originally. I also changed out all of the windows, added that turret thingie in the middle there, relandscaped the back to get rid of a kiddie playground and replaced it with a stable. Then I rotated the lot about 45 degrees so my snooty royals don't have to look at the riff-raff across the street. And, of course, gave them some expensive furnishings as opposed to the basegame stuff that the house came with.

And here they are! I really didn't do much to them other than give them some new skins and make-up, and new clothes. I modelled the head lady after some old pictures of Queen Elisabeth. Her husband is still the "Yes, dear. Whatever you say, dear," sort of dude that he always was. They also have a dog, cat, and horse. The horse actually belonged to the run-away daughter.

Then, I went up into the mountains and replaced that house at 27 Bristlecone Way with this one that Pinecat over on TSR did ages ago. Since I never use the launcher, I converted it into a package and then had to redo virtually everything because patterns don't always survive the change. Anyway, there were a ton more trees on the original lot, that I deleted. Sometimes less is better. Inside, I used the store mid-century modern sets to furnish it.

And this is the sim who lives there - Dr Al Fahad and her cat, Simba. Again, I really didn't change her much - mostly because not everyone in our world is stop-dead beautiful. And I like variety in my worlds. I did give her that Egyptian trait, so now she sings that stupid song. And I changed her backstory a bit. She's still a simoleon-loving surgeon who caters to the very rich and famous, but she moved to Hidden Springs from Bridgeport, because she had a teensy slip of the knife on one of her patients, after a hard night of partying. And had to shell out a ton of simoleons to shut the snit up. So, she's come here for a fresh start.

This is the house that I gave that Mendosa sim. Other than a new skin, he looks the same as before. Anyway, this house is all that's left of what he acquired during his career as a musical prodigy. Sadly, he had a crooked agent who robbed him blind. Now all he has is this house and a stray cat that decided to move in with him.

And then I got sick of CAS and decided that I better start addressing all those Christmas cards I have. Sucks to be me!

Just something I wrote a while ago... funny story of a short-lived Barbie Legacy attempt.

Like many, I was intrigued by the Barbie Legacy Challenge floating around. However, 10 generations of pink and the same named sim, I wasn’t completely sold on that idea. But then I watched Vixella play and her Barbie was wild. Surely Barbie deserved more justice than that chaotic life (though I love to see it). And I thought Barbie is just fun, cute, and a change of pace from my legacy save that’s mainly about having babies and getting on to the next generation. So I made Barbie Roberts. But I was going to have Barbie be like a partial super sim challenge. Starting with Business Barbie (gen 2) and Housewife Barbie (gen 1) would be her final chapter. And let me just say, Vixella’s Barbie is 100% a wholesome housewife Barbie compared to how my Barbie turned out.

Barbie Roberts was created in CAS as a young adult with the Fabulously Wealthy aspiration. She started out Ambitious, Loyal, and Outgoing. I added the traits; Headstrong, Practiced Host, Idea Person, Pack Animal, Prom Royalty, Responsible, Good Manners, Compassionate, and Emotional Control. I let her pick her own likes/dislikes through gameplay and allowed for self-discovery. I looked forward to enjoying a young adult with no need to rush for marriage and children (having set aging to off). 

Previously to starting this save, I tried my hands at a “wild” save. I replaced Wonderful Whims with Wicked, and planned to say yes to any sexual offer. Just let my sim be truly wild. I played for a few sim days and NO “so in so is looking at you… do you accept their advances” no random woohoo. I was so bored. I switched back to wonderful whims and proceeded with creating Barbie Roberts and having a wholesome easy break from my legacy save. Now I wonder if my sim should even keep the name Barbie Roberts. My only “rule” was to have fun, and go with freewill and play through as many wants as possible.

Barbie moved into a starter home in Willow Creek with her starting funds of $20,000. Transformed it into an adorable pink home with a small garden in the backyard and joined the business career. She enjoyed meeting her neighbors as they welcomed her to the neighborhood with fruitcake (which she found delicious). Barbie loved socializing and making friends. She enjoyed her career but always made time for her friends. Her neighbors, Summer Holiday and Travis Scott had become two of her best friends and would regularly want to hang out with them. 

One night after work, Barbie wanted to be friendly with Travis while also wanting to dine out at a restaurant. Having just been promoted, she decided to celebrate with Travis over a nice dinner. After which, Barbie enjoyed Travis as dessert. Having no romance between them, Travis propositioned her after the meal ended and the two had dumpster woohoo behind the restaurant. Such a romantic first time.

Having never tested out the new woohoo partners feature, I decided to go for that. My justification, Barbie always strung Ken along, right? [For the record, I have Mc Command Center, Mc Woohoo, Wonderful Whims, and that's really it for relationship/autonomy script mods at the moment.] 

As Barbie progressed in her career, she got the attention of Nick Alto who invited her to join his club for prestigious young business entrepreneurs. Within seconds of attending her first club meeting, Barbie autonomously tried for baby with Nick Alto while his wife was in the next room (thankfully, no baby was conceived). Barbie just really wanted to show Nick her appreciation for being invited to join such an influential club, you know. 

Not even a few minutes later, she took Dustin Broke (fellow club member) to the Alto’s home massage table and offered to massage his stress away. It was at this moment I realized this Barbie wasn’t like the other Barbies.

As time went on, Barbie had experienced many City festivals, made many new friends, lavished in multiple promotions and was ultimately living her best life saving up to own a vet clinic (which is no longer a goal of hers). 

One day, Summer asked if she should go on a date with Akira Kibo, Barbie said yes (even though she had never met the guy). By this time Barbie had become a trusted Confidante and a Beloved friend. Travis admitted he had a huge crush on Barbie and had asked if they could go on an official date. Barbie agreed but nothing was set yet. She had dreams to accomplish, was a serious relationship right for her at this moment? Though, he did look like a Ken.

Barbie wanted to visit a karaoke bar so she invited a bunch of friends, hoping Travis would feel it was enough just to spend time together. But then, she saw Summer flirt with Travis, and she knew, if she didn’t act soon she may lose him (saw him flirting with Summer and gained the want to ask him on a date, no lie). Meanwhile, she had met Akira Kibo during this outing and gained romance without me noticing because I was too focused on Summer and Travis continually flirting with one another (and I actually love that spitefulness that Summer flirted with her guy, so she flirted with hers in return). After the outing ended, Barbie asked Travis on a date to the same restaurant they first had woohoo at. And the night ended with dumpster woohoo once more.

During Harvestfest, Barbie invited everyone over for a Harvestfest Party. She gained the want to get engaged to Travis, though they weren't even boyfriend/girlfriend yet. So I had her ask him to be her boyfriend, which she proceeded to autonomously propose immediately afterwards.. During the celebration meal, Barbie decided to ask Akira to be her Ring Bearer, they had a full friendship bar so I also had her become best friends with him. Immediately after which, in front of the room full of guests, the two decided to leave the party to woohoo in the pile of leaves outside. Followed by the want to have a first kiss with Akira. BARBIE!

Being a loyal sim (insert eye rolling), Barbie felt the need to confess to cheating to Travis (not like he didn’t just witness it amongst all his friends). Barbie apologized and reaffirmed her devotion to Travis. The two worked things out. Travis is awfully forgiving.

Barbie and Nancy Landgraab had become friends, having both been in the Business career. And the two had a lovely dinner at a fancy restaurant downtown where Barbie met the only man she's ever found more than basic looking, Caleb Vatore. The two became fast friends. 

One of Barbie’s set of neighbor’s was a lovely couple with two children. Barbie was friends with both of them and on occasion they’d pop by for a visit. One afternoon, the husband popped by for a little shower try for baby with Barbie out of nowhere. But hey, he fixed her broken radio afterwards, saving money on a repairman because Barbie hates handiness (no baby was conceived so that's a win right).

Again, Barbie felt the need to confess to Travis. At this point their romance was less than half the bar. But now she was serious about planning her wedding, want after want, she desired to fill all the wedding roles. And then, a phone call stating she’d inherit money by marrying within 7 days sealed the deal, the wedding was on (and in case you didn’t know, a wedding event doesn;t count I have learned!)

The wedding started off with so much promise. Barbie wanted to woohoo, makeout, flirt all with Travis. But then the wedding cake disappeared. Caleb refused to watch her marry Travis (he had let her know he liked her days before). The wedding activities kept glitching. And while Travis sat at the bar, Barbie got the want to divorce him, while still actively at the wedding! I feel like she realized the coming into money for marriage was a scam and she had too much life to live to be married right now. So the wedding ended. And Barbie divorced Travis while still at the wedding venue.

When Barbie returned home, she realized she made a mistake. She wanted to be engaged to Travis. [After the divorce I removed the loyal trait from Barbie and rolled for her to gain the Romance, Seducer, Woohoo Lover, Free Spirit, or Charming trait instead, she rolled Woohoo Lover] She took the next day off work and proceeded to spend that entire night making up with Travis (they autonomously woohooed like 5 times in between) until alas, they were engaged once more. NEVER have I played a more toxic sims couple. 

I feel like once Barbie came to understand she was a woohoo addict, she began to realize she was in love with Travis and the fact he was so forgiving, he truly was the one. Christmas rolled around and I decided Barbie and Travis would celebrate this holiday alone and without the added drama. Barbie made a ham dinner, placed presents by the tree, and invited her fiance over with the want to marry him. They would end the night eloping. And they did, but of course, drama found them first.

As the couple enjoyed their dinner, Caleb came knocking. He must have felt the romance in the air and decided it was now or never, so he flirted with Barbie out of nowhere right in front of Travis. Then Santa came to visit and proceeded to flirt with Barbie (luckily Travis and Caleb were in another room). Oh, I forgot to mention Barbie had just found out she was pregnant that morning as well. And had just told Travis the news (which he rejected, I didn’t even know that was a thing! Right before Caleb came over, great timing). I tried to have everyone sing christmas songs before opening presents but only Caleb participated with Barbie. As Barbie still wanted to marry and now flirt with Travis, I sent everyone home and Barbie and Travis opened their presents (Barbie got coal). Afterwhich, the couple eloped. Seriously, Travis, can you not do better? And Why can no one resist themselves around Barbie?! 

At this point, I have turned on aging for active household only. Barbie will finish gen 2 goals and then switch to housewife Barbie (gen 1) and one of her children will take on the gen 3 role of running a vet clinic. At least that's where things are at his moment. Barbie and Travis are saving for a bigger home for their growing family. I honestly love this save file chaos. I find it hilarious how I made a save file with intentions of chaos, got nothing. Made a save file with intentions of wholesome vibes, got chaos.

Okay, what happened last blog? Well.....

I raised both Zaidan's and Julien's child except I found out that Julien is a very shit father, Haylee grows up happy and Jase grows up unhappy. Sky fishes for some Angelfish whilst Zaidan reaches Level 10 in Gourmet Cooking and whilst Sky gets a new job as an Astronaut and goes into the Interstellar Smuggler branch, we get some Ambrosia, revive Lucas who was previously fucking died. Julien keeps pissing on my fucking living room floor, Haylee got aged up into a teen, Jase is now a child (I aged him up after last chaos blog). Haylee almost died, Lucas almost died again.

Okay, caught up? Good. Now, in this blog is going to be TWICE the chaos, because the previous chaos blog I couldn't post for a week, but I had already done it and couldn't be bothered to update it, so instead, all of its gonna go here!!!!!!

Now be prepared, because I don't know if next week's chaos blog will top this one off....

First week...

After one too many times of Vito possessing Dumbass's gay hearts, I move him back into the household and whip him up a plate of Ambrosia, half as punishment, half because it felt a bit lonely.

Vito lasted.... Surprisingly well, but, well. this sentence is in past tence for a reason....

I also now age up Jase unto a teenager somewhere in this time, I think? i uh idontreemmber

Sky gets to the top of his career and is now constantly on the run from the Space Police

And, on the Saturday after I posted last blog, I had acquired MC Command Center, meaning LARGER HOUSEHOLD WOOOOOOO!!!!-

Well, I had made it larger as a joke, but someone saw it as a grand opportunity to... well.....

So zaidan, in record time. Gets abducted, impregnated and gives birth. All in the matter of one real-life hour after raising the household cap.

(Also, the way I found out zaidan ws pregnant was so fucking hilarious, I was recording him and possessed Sky having the most fucking terrifying dinner date(?) I've never seen a possessed sim eating a bowl of chili whilst looking totally in love with someone, meanwhile the other sim is so completely fucking confused. And then he did the pregnant animation and i freaked the fuck out)

Meanwhile Sky had his own child, well, Creation. Sky finally build a motherfucking servoooooo woooooo- whom upon entering my household, was assigned traits that practically made Sky the creator of a sociopathic robot I am not joking its the traits I have in my mods pls do-

but don't get too attached because,

One quick change later and Zaidan giving birth, I found out the hard way that I cannot edit my sims normally in a 9 sim household and have to go into the MC Menu and go into CAS from there, because Sky's servo swiftly evaporates from the gace of the earth, never to be seen again.

Zaidan's 5th chikd, Kurtz, grows up to be happy a conspiracy theorist and a pain in the fucking ass, just like his step-father, Dumbass

(Furute me here realising I forgot to mention the 4th, Luz, she's got a mohawk, she's an overachiver, she's a badass lesbian, okay moving on)

Speaking of pain in the asses, Vito gets stuck in a wall, in which case I use this comment to capture some of the most unflattering picture of a sim out there

And speaking of pain in the asses aga- yeah zaidan got pregnant again.... This is his 6th..... This one I named Rez, now this time Dumbass and Zaidan was raising Rez (Which Luz was not happy about as a child)

Thats all of week 1.... Now its on to the real chaos.... the we

Week 2

Week 2, I panic, realising I can't age up my werewolves, Haylee and Lucas up. Why? Because some stupid fucking idiot made them both immortal (me)

So after swiftly resetting and redoing all my werewolves perks (Thank MCCC that MC Command Center has that otherwise I'd of been fucked), I finally age up Haylee and Lucas, who both do not have a job still as I'm writing this.

Meanwhile, Sky has finally finished the Nerd Brain aspiration, meaning he can now Insta-Repair which honestly does fuck all AND INSTA-UPGRADE WOOOOO!!!!- So Sky's been upgrading everything, the stove, the fridge that keeps breaking, the toilets...

And that's when it all went wrong.

As per usual, Zaidan getting abducted, dumbass getting abducted,

Lucas are you sat in your sister's bedroom naked..?

Julien stop pissing on my living room flo-

Al the sudden, one of the toilets in the basement set fire to one of Zaidan's daughters, Luz. I'm panicking, thinking it was that bastard ghost who, idfk fucking planted a grenade in the fucking toilet bowl. I quickly get that sorted out, but I didn't know the true reason.

By now I've finally aged Kurtz into a child, yes it took this long....

But then, Zaidan bursts into flames, where? In the bathroom, it's now the first floor toilet, I'm panicking again, dumbass is there fucking celebrating meanwhile I'm screaming watching the firefighters tumble down through

Meanwhile, Zaidan:

A, Dosnt give 2 flying fucks.

B, stands there and does absolutely nothing

And C, Goes so feral that his eyes go red because he's tense and makes me giggle tf out.

oh and also D, grants me one of the best pictures I've had in ages

I also now have a video of dumbass casually wafting the air like it smells like shit as Lucas is screaming bloody murder beside him pointing at the fire right in front of them.

Ten seconds after that

NOW the UPSTAIRS toilet is on fire, and then another... and then another... and anothe- and zaidans getting fucking abducted again... and another

And then, the first death in a long while. Jase Conner, whom died not only by the toilet's murderous flames, but also by Lucas, who proceeded to only extinguish the fire after he had collapsed on the floor and died.

Considering Jase and Lucas were enemies before, I think Lucas had some intentions...

After which Dumbass and DEATH HIMSELF become BEST FRIENDS FOREVER????

And then, we have our second death, which came a little while after Jase's. Rez, who was still only a child, also died to toilet fire, because when I got him to extinguish himself in the shower, he glitched and stayed on fire, yet everyone else couldn't extinguish him because the game registered him as not on fire. And so, Rez dies to a glitch in the system....

AND THEN, FUCKING JULIEN AND LUCAS GET FUCKING ABDUCTED?

can you, can you guess what happened? I bet you can't, you will never guess, literally never guess, it is impossible to guess, can you guess it? Can you? Can you? Can you guess?

I decided to keep only Lucas', who's named Kamila, because I don't trust julien anymore and I do not have the strength to take care of 2 toddlers.

I also, most recently, moved Rez's ghost back into the household.

And I leave off here. The household being Sky, Zaidan, Julien, Haylee, Lucas, Luz, Jurtz, Jase, Rez's Ghost and Kamila, a 10 sim household on it really ever dying, unless there's a really bad toilet fire that happens

This is my own challenge I created, but may have some not-so-berry likenesses. I am currently playing through this on my twitch channel twitch.tv/babyash224

Mods and cc allowed if you want

All children/teens may not age up until they are on the honor roll, or they age up on their own.

Try to make your house look like the color of your gen. The exception is the children's room that may match the child's gen.

Keeping Up With The Kapules [BONUS!]

The Kapules: Neighborhood Stories' Punching Bag

Welcome to my more unhinged, quicker recap of the Kapule family! If you didn't read the six part mini series I recommend doing so! (The previous button above will take you to part 6!)

I originally started my Kapule family save to play with Island Living, as I never really had before. And everyone knows this pack comes with three main things: 1. The conservationist career, 2. Mermaids, 3. The eye candy that is Makoa.

Naturally I had to partake in all three to successfully play with the pack! Alani became a conservationist and restored the islands, and Liliana became a mermaid and seduced Makoa. (The seduction had nothing to do with the mermaid thing, but now I'm thinking it could've been a good plotline...)

Alani was hard at work while Liliana was becoming a fish and getting pregnant. This was planned, as I wanted to go with the whole 'cheats on his wife and leaves her for his pregnant mistress' thing, but neighborhood stories had other plans (as it so often does with this family) and his wife (also a Lilliana, but her's is spelled with two Ls, oops) became pregnant right before, and I hand NO idea, until I sent the two of them to the beach.

I was all, 'Oh no, the wife will see you with your 6 month pregnant mistress, hide! WAIT IS SHE PREGNANT????'. Liliana was in her second trimester and Lilliana (wife) was in her third. Definitely a wrench in the plan, but it worked out in the end as I really came to love Adalynn and she's one of my most played with sims in this save!

Anyway, fast forward quite a bit, Liliana gives birth, Makoa moves in, they have Akuma, we get a bigger house, Makoa's kids move in, they have Kalei, all is well. The drama comes back in when Kalei is a child. He's our youngest kid, Nani has moved out and all the others are teens.

It's turtle hatching season, for some reason the only people home are Kalei, Liliana, and Makoa. I send them over to watch turtles, and I specifically remember Kalei taking forever to get to the turtles since he was a kid and the other two were a mermaid and used the boat. So obviously they've been looking at the turtles for a while and their kid is still swimming, so I send them to WooHoo in the waterfall while I wait for Kalei.

Slight issue, I had the Realistic Pregnancy mod installed and forgot, so while I'm staring at Kalei still somehow in the middle of the ocean, I get the pop-up 'No protection was used' and I'm like 'shit'. But, I got Akoni out of it! He's my favorite sim I've probably ever had, and I'm lowkey in love with him. (This may be a sims deep cut at this point, but he's the Abel to my Clare Siobhan)

Fast forward again, we're now living in San Myshuno with three mermaids (Koa, Adalynn, Akoni) and a child (Malei), plus Koa's girlfriend Summer and their infant daughter. In the middle of the night I get the pop-up that Makoa passed away. (And I actually got the one for Adalynn's moms a few days earlier, who by the way had another kid!)

The next day everyone went out to Sulani for a funeral at the house, and AT THE FUNERAL, while everyone is gathered around Makoa's grave crying, Alani drops dead, so now everyone turns around and we have funeral number two.

After we get home, the grief is starting to subside, Akoni gets with his longtime best friend Akemi, they age up, she immediately gets pregnant. Now, my plan with Akoni was actor who has a ranch in Chestnut Ridge (which I'm doing now, check out Kapule Ranch!) but when he met Akemi, I planned for them to be endgame. Suddenly, something comes over me halfway through her pregnancy and I'm like 'no, I'm gonna ruin your lives'.

So we have a little joint wedding for Koa and Summer, and Adalynn and whatever her husband's name is. (I was the same way with Alani's husband. It's terrible) As soon as Adalynn and her husband go off to their new house Akemi goes into labor, we rush home, she has Ames, then freaks and bails.

Akoni and Ames go to Chestnut Ridge, he does the whole hot young single dad thing while running a ranch and paying expensive bills. (That part was hell at first) He meets a cute, sweet girl named Daisy, they become friends, eventually get together and she moves in.

Now, things get even crazier when we go to Sulani for the weekend for his brother's wedding. Kalei ended up getting engaged to Capri, Summer's old roommate and best friend weirdly enough, so of course I was stoked about this.

Now real quick, I should mention that after Akoni moved, Kalei called to ask if he should get engaged to Akemi. I of course said no just in case, but I was thinking 'no way he's been dating the same Akemi we just had a son with then bolted'. I ended up running into her later and checking. She WAS dating Kalei at the same time as Akoni, AND Akoni's older half-sister Nani!

Then, the night before the wedding, right after I put everyone to bed, I get a call that Akemi passed away, so I run to check Neighborhood Stories, turns out the chick who left a merman drowned. The irony.

To plan the wedding I go to switch households to Kalei and Akuma, and happen to see that Nani (who married Duane (rip)) had twins. Then I look at Akuma's romances since he's the only one not married or in a relationship, and he's dating Akemi's DAD! I invite Capri over to the plan the wedding and she's pregnant, in her second trimester! Shock after shock.

🌸 What's your earliest memory of playing the sims?

My earliest memory is playing Sims 3 and visiting the future. I know that’s not actually my earliest experience, but my memory is very bad and this is the earliest I can remember. I definitely remember going outside the city and collecting parts(?) to unlock some spaceship or underground bunker. I forget.

💫 How did you discover the sims franchise?

I honestly have no idea lol Maybe just seeing it in the store and it seemed fun?

🍇 What was your first sims game?

Again, poor memory here lol I think I may have started with the Sims 3 base game?

🍦 How long have you been playing the sims?

Many many years lol Pretty sure I’ve been playing since the Sims 3 came out at the very least. So… about 15 years?

🧋 What is your favorite sims series? (sims 3, 2 etc.)

Sims 4 c: I actually hated this game when it first came out because it was so different from 3. I remember saying I would never get into 4 and would never stop playing 3 yet here I am.

I’m honestly terrible at creating sims so I don’t have many that I’m proud of or really like. I have to say, though, I adore Bryon Rainhawk <3

🍨 Do you have a sim self? If yes, do you play with them?

Tiger Rain, the sim you see in my Super Sim challenge, is sort of like me. But again, I’m terrible at making sims and every time I asked if she looked like me, people always said no. Eventually, I gave up and just made her a mix of me and what I wish I looked like. And yes! As stated, she’s the main star of my Super Sim challenge and I often use her in other challenges/scenarios.

🫐 How often do you play the sims?

I try to play every day. However, I’ve got commitment issues! I’ll be obsessed with one thing for months, then that obsession will switch to something else. So, right now, I’m obsessed with the sims and that's all I’m doing. Eventually, I will move on to something else for a few months, then something else and eventually I’ll make it back to the sims lol

🌱 Do/Can you relate to any of your sims?

I’m pretty boring, honestly. Though I do tend to make them similar to me in some ways, they live far more interesting and better lives than I do, even through all the torture haha

🐬 Favorite sims challenge?

I’ve only finished one challenge as of the date I’m writing this. I’ve attempted many over the years, some a few times. I can’t really think of any that stand out above the rest. Maybe the Asylum challenge?

In the game itself? Hmm, that’s a tough one. I’m quite fond of collecting things and trying out small, forgotten features that I’ve never done before! There’s so much to do in this game with all the packs, most of it overlooked.

Fall/Autumn, 100%. There is nothing better than red and orange leaves floating on a chilly breeze. And don’t even get me started on Halloween!

❣️ Do you talk about the sims with any of your friends/family members in real life?

No :( Sadly I only have a few people to talk to about it. They’re online and I'm not technically friends with most of them so we don’t talk often. Mostly, I just scream my thoughts about the sims into the void or at my vice-cultleader Meg lol

✉️ How big is your mods folder?

Very small. I don’t mind mods, but I’m the type to prefer games as they were intended. I only use the MCCC mod, some eyes CC, a uniform CC and colorful berry skins CC. I have been thinking about adding a taco stand and a tennis court, though.

☘️ Do you have any other social media where you post sims related content?

I started posting my content on WordPress. I’m not really sure where else to post my stuff. I’ve asked around, but people usually just say tumblr.

📱 What made you want to start a simblr?

WordPress has a limit on images. Because I play so much and take so many screenshots, I have quickly arrived at nearly 60% media storage. I’ll have to pay to increase it, which I may do I don’t know yet, so I migrated to Tumblr. I have no plans of leaving but I would like to find another place where I can post my sims content (without having to pay extra.)

Nightlife. I never played the TS2 base game only, I started after Nightlife’s release, when my grandmother gifted my cousin and me the Deluxe Edition. I’m so thankful that she did.

There isn’t a single one but I have many favorites among the sims I use for CC modeling.

Sort of, recently. That would be one of the TF sims I use for CC modeling, the nearly bald one with skin 1 and dark eyes. Their face features are not a match to mine really, I’m not good at recreating faces, but that would be the closest I’ve made (and also my first time actually using some of the facial asymmetry sliders I have in my folder). The sim I use as an avatar on my socials doesn’t look like me at all.

Loner, brooding, clumsy, shy, vegetarian, eco-friendly, frugal.

The mohawks have pretty good custom gradients.

Maybe getfabulous? The name is swaying me for sure. I gave that hair to the deceased founder of my custom neighborhood Oaken Valley, so it does have a special place in my heart.

I like them all and how different they feel to one another. I like the slightly crouched posture of elders, the young adult walk, or how kids materialize a stool to step on when something is out of their reach. And toddlers and babies are adorable.

I started playing TS2 when I was like 9, and for the longest time I didn’t know that CC was a thing. I was partial to faces 1 and 2 and all of my sims kind of looked the same. I even gave cosmetic surgery to some of the premades with the career reward station once I learned the “unlockcareerrewards” cheat. I remember giving Goneril Capp face 1 (one of the most contempt-worthy decisions I’ve ever made, to be sure). I am now appalled by this and my game has become more diverse, although there is still much work to be done. These days I’m in the process of making plenty of CC for custom body shapes so I can overhaul my CC folder once again and make a custom neighborhood with the best sims ever, it’s gonna be great.

The Brothers and Side Characters Play the Sims

I don’t know what possessed me to make this but WHATEVER. I’ve been playing the Sims since I was a wee little girl, and I’ve seen my fair share of weird Sims stuff that I feel would fit these bozos perfectly.

My Sims have a Functional Family Life Because I Don’t (Lucifer)

God dammit Levi’s obsessed with another game... ugh.

Spends 5 minutes in Create-a-Sim and hops into a starter home.

Lucifer’s the type to start with all the average stuff and then build their stuff up as his sim gets promotions.

It’s just... so peaceful...

...he’s adopting a dog.

Look at his new little virtual family... his sim-kids are self sufficient and getting A’s in school, his Sim spouse MC or Diavolo take your pick loves his Sim-self, his sim-dog-

Behold, My Gorgeous Home... It’s a Box (Mammon)

Mammon, like the rest of the HOL, is mooching off of Levi’s Origin account.

“AW SHIT! This house looks awesome! I’m gonna build it for Sim-me to live in!”

Mammon proceeds to build a box with rooms. Yay...

He just picks the funnest sounding job if he picks any job at all for his Sim. That’s how he ended up making 9 dollars an hour in the criminal career.

Didn’t stop Mammon from buying that solid gold bathroom set from Get Famous... a box with solid gold bathrooms.

His Sim is broke send help-

“Leviiiiiii my sim needs money... the people my sim kidnapped and is forcing to paint aren’t making enough money...” “Ugh... press control shift C and type ‘motherlode’.”

...Levi made a mistake.

His sim’s life is so chaotic, he has a piranha pool that his sim has almost died in twice, the sim is carrying on several torrid love affairs, his sim got struck by lightning, his sim has nearly died in a grilled cheese making accident twice... in the same day.

At least once Sim-Mammon and Sim-MC get married things calm down a little.

Mammon finds out what custom content is and proceeds to download EVERYTHING HE CAN FIND.

And now he’s asking Levi why his computer is running so slow.

Expansion Pack King (Leviathan)

He got into it back when the Sims 2 was new, he’s a veteran fan.

“Bro remember when Agnes Crumplebottom would show up and whack the shit out of your sims if they were flirting?”

“Remember when that witch would show up randomly on the lot you were on if you had Makin’ Magic?”

“Remember when Bella Goth was abducted by aliens and we just... didn’t question it?”

He whines about the Sims4 and how crappy it is but still buys every expansion pack, game pack, and stuff pack.

This boy watches like 40 hours of built tutorials and ends up sobbing over his weird roofs.

“WHY DOESN’T IT LOOK AS NICE AS THE ONE I’M LOOKING AT?! THIS ISN’T FAIR!”

The mod folder is so full istg-

Levi gets custom content for the sole purpose of making his favourite fictional characters.

This is why Henry and the Lord of Shadows are married and Ruri-chan and Sim-Levi are roommates.

Levi also added his brothers to the world and uh... Sim-Mammon died in a tragic pool accident F.

Levi then proceeded to befriend the Grim Reaper.

He’s anxiously awaiting the release of Paralives.

Wait Gameplay? In This Build Simulator? (Satan)

Satan’s here to build and leave. Gameplay who?

Our favourite bundle of rage is a master architect and the amount of followers on the Gallery he has shows it.

He takes up those build shell challenges and always ends up making them look positively perfect.

Asmo’s always using his houses, and Satan often takes requests when he gets bored.

No Mammon, he reserves the right to refuse to build a golden castle for you- YOUR SIM HAS 40 SIMOLEONS-

No mods, no CC, he’s building with what EA gave him.

...and EA gave him debug objects, and he’s not going to explain how to get them.

The one time he did actually play with a family... it was one sim and seven cats.

He tries to play without cheats... and ends up getting frustrated and turns on cheats.

Custom Content Soap Opera (Asmodeus)

Asmo spends 5 hours in Create a Sim then just... clicks out of the game.

That’s how it goes most of the time, buuuuuut when he gets super invested in a family he’s made, boy howdy is he INVESTED.

Sim A is carrying on an affair with Sim C who’s in love with Sim B who’s married to Sim A but Sim D wants to kill Sim A and C even though they’re the illegitimate child of Sim C-

When Asmo realizes that in the Sims 4 he needs to manufacture all the drama himself and he can’t just sit back with a glass of wine and watch the fireworks, he switches to the Sims 2 and 3.

“...why is this old lady beating up my Sim..?”

He immediately recoils in horror upon seeing how ugly the Sims are pre Sims4.

HE NEEDS TO FIX THIS-

Ah, there we go, perfect. Custom Content to the rescue!

He ends up remaking the entire world just so he doesn’t have to look at weird looking Sims.

Asmo is the only one to have finished a proper Legacy Challenge, but it gets crazy chaotic after gen 3.

“My sim just got abducted by aliens and now he’s pregnant- WHAT?!”

He has about 40 saves and only two he actually plays.

Just a Big Ol’ Happy Family (Beelzebub)

Beel found the game, proceeded to make everyone in create-a-sim to the best of his abilities, and made everyone get along.

That’s why Sim-Lucifer and Sim-Belphie are on a swing set together, they’re friends :D

“Hey Luke do you think you can make this?” “I-is that a cake shaped like a hamburger?” “Yes. Please make.”

He took one look at the cooking options and decided to max out his Sim’s cooking skill to unlock all the options.

Beel proceeded to drool all over his keyboard. Gross...

Boy howdy did he have some crazy dinner suggestions!

Overall, very wholesome Sim-life, except for the time Sim-Levi died because the toilet caught fire, don’t worry, Sim-Beel knows how to make ambrosia.

Wait Did I Not Pause- (Belphie)

Huh, this game looks fine... I’ll play for a little- *SNORE*

Belphie makes some sims, plops them into a starter home, plays for an hour, then falls asleep.

He wakes up five hours later to absolute carnage.

Three sims have died because someone decided to make Mac and Cheese and the oven caught fire, the kids were taken away by social services, and the dog ran away.

“...heheh, holy shit everyone look.”

He doesn’t play often, but when he does, death occurs. He has found out every death method for every game from Sims 2 to 4.

And that INCLUDES the Sims Medieval! You guys remember that game?

Sometimes it’s not intentional, but Belphie got bored with the totally normal life his sims were living and decided to spice it up.

Help There’s a Bug- (Diavolo)

The Crown Prince started playing when he noticed Lucifer was playing it.

He was immediately obsessed.

Dia mostly plays the Sims Medieval because he likes the feeling of achievement after completing a quest!

“Barbatos... why isn’t my Sim completing their task? The icon won’t show up.” “My lord it appears the game is bugged.” “:(“

No one thought to tell Diavolo that EA doesn’t plan on offering bug support to a game made in like... 2009

This doesn’t matter! Look at how great his kingdom is doing- oh no his hero has the plague-

He plays through the Pirates and Nobles expansion and manages to get the peaceful ending, he’s so proud of himself.

“MC! Look! My Monarch’s sword is permanently on fire and I’m fighting an evil wizard!”

When he does play the other Sims games he’s pretty basic, though, he does a great job at furnishing!

Dia gets crazy sad when his Sims die... he turns off aging.

Builder no. 2 (Barbatos)

Barbie doesn’t have time for this... but when he does, he builds.

No create a sim.

No playing the game as intended.

Just builds.

It’s relaxing, okay? A nice little suburban house he’s never going to play in, maybe a treehouse, maybe a big Hollywood Mansion...

The only time he actually plays the game outside of build mode is when someone needs his help to fix something in-game.

He does download custom content build items if he feels bored by the current selection.

Oh Crap What Am I Doing?! (Simeon)

Okay, once he gets the hang of it he’s sitting pretty. His sims have good jobs, the kids are getting good grades, everything’s fine.

What Even is This Save? (Solomon)

Solomon’s save is the definition of chaos.

One sim’s a vampire, the other is a spellcaster that really wants to fight the Callientes for some reason, there’s one normal sim that’s always sick for some reason,

It gets weird, confusing, and horrible.

Just how Solomon likes it.

His house makes no sense, like, what even is architecture?

Money cheats are needed because Solomon‘a goal of chaos and confusion is proving to be kind of expensive.

Square up Mortimer Goth, Solomon’s sims are here to steal your weird knight statue that’s worth a shit ton of simoleons for NO REASON.

He joined the scientist career for the sole purpose of getting to the alien planet and kidnapping adding an alien to the household via cheats.

The vampire ended up dying on their wedding day because Solomon forgot that he gave them the sun weakness.

Oh well, the ghost got added to the household! VAMPIRE GHOST!

The Child (Luke)

Before you say Luke’s too young to play the Sims, you should know that I was nine when I first started playing, and I turned out fiiiiiiiiiine.

He’s just happy to be playing.

1. What’s your favorite sims death? I don’t think I have one? But I definitely have a memorable one which is death by flies, simply because in TS2 times I was using it all the time for sims I didn’t like 😶

A new Legacy Challenge

The Grecian Mythology Legacy Challenge

Synopsis: Before there were what we call the modern gods and goddesses of today from Mount Olympus, or The Olympians, there were those that came before them. Like every story, it has its origins. Gaea, birthed from Chaos, and Ouranus, birthed from Gaea, who then began to create their own legacy. In this Legacy Challenge, you will tell the story of the gods and goddesses from it’s very core to what it is today, from Gaea to Zeus and his many, many children. 

Getting Started/Rules:

 Disclaimer: For the purposes of this challenge,we’re just going to start out with Gaea and Ouranos as there are MANY MANY children born from Chaos and Gaea, followed by Ouranos and Gaea, and that is just too much time and energy spent. CC and Mods are also very much welcomed!

It would very much help to start a New Game, and by creating your sims. They must be married and of the opposite gender. Gaea=Mother Earth and Ouranos=The Father/Starry Sky. They may look however you please, if you have the Expansion Pack Get To Work, they can be aliens, if you have The Game Packs Realm of Magic, Vampires. You are very much welcome to make them into Mages or Vampires, the choice is up to you! If you have seasons you may start in any season you see fit. 

After you are done creating your founders, you MUST move them into Newcrest on the biggest Lot which should be Twin Oracle Point. (It even sounds mythological XD). If you want more of a challenge try living Off-Grid.

You may not have any kind of job as you are just starting out, so in order to make your living wages you may:

And sell Collectibles (anything found)

Generation alpha : The Creation

Gaea, also known as mother earth, very much loved her children, too bad Ouranos didn’t feel the same and locked them all away to never be seen again… supposedly…

Just like his father before him Cronos found out through the prophecies that one of his children will overthrow him and become ruler, Rhea is not pleased by this and devises a plan just like her mother (in law) before her. You may start to have jobs/careers this generation

Like the previous Generation once Cronos is an old man who fights with his son (teenage) Zeus multiple times. Cronos then dies from exhaustion or anger (you can cheat this) and Zeus takes over. 

This will end generation Beta with Zeus succeeding his Father.

Generation Gamma: A New Age and Ruler

Once Cronos is out of the picture for good, Zeus can marry his beloved sweetheart Hera. But, he can keep his adulterous ways to himself, right... right?

Backstory : You are a fearless Alien from Sixam who is up for any challenge, you have fought countless beasts but one day the ruler tells you that you and some other aliens need to travel to sims earth and see if the sims are experimenting on Aliens because a lot have went to sims earth and never came back..

Age : Young Adult

Traits : Ambitious, Noncommittal and Adventurous

Aspiration : Renaissance Sim

Career : Scientist

Rules ( not in order, you chose ) :

• Wear the color Gold/Yellow

• Get to level 8 of the scientist career

• Make at least 3 enemies

• Adopt a human kid

• Date only the people you trust ( you have to be good friends with them before dating ), and you are not allowed to get eloped/married

• Get into ( atleast ) 5 fights

• Travel back to Sixam and leave your Kid on earth/ when your child is a teen

• make at least 2 other alien sims, one of them your enemy aand the other your ex bf/gf

• Live in StrangerVille ( BUT IGNORE THE " ZOMBIES " )

• Use mods and cc

She left you on sims earth all alone with just a few simoleons, you have your first day of highschool soon and you learn through your mother/father 's bf/gf that she is an alien, now you and your mothers gf/bf decided to stay in strangerville and finally find out why there are weird looking people and find what her mom was supposed to find the MOTHERPLANT !!!
