in my mind, ive kinda internalized the idea that step 3 is the oldest we'll see qiu and tammy dhjajshs

because they've both had drastic changes in all the steps.. it feels like step 3 is kind of the combination of the previous steps, so I have no idea how they'll change :o

how i draw hair :) applies for TS3 & TS4

a few people have asked for this so i thought i'd just show my process, i'm still learning myself but sharing is caring. This is all done in the Procreate app on the ipad.

i used to use these brushes when i had my old ts3 acc: photoshop brushes these are super good if you might be be able to draw the individual strands, now i just use 3 brushes from samdoesart patreon:

round brush: has some hard edges air brush: better for curly hair as it's soft syrup brush : i use this more for straight/wavy hair

procreate does have FREE brushes so alternatives for the brushes i use are found in: calligraphy - 'script', airbrushing - 'hard blend' & 'soft brush'.

step1: i'll gather reference on pinterest for curly/wavy hair as straight hair is more simple to draw, this help me to understand how the hair falls and where to put highlight/shadows

step2: *create new layer* pick the brush and colour pick the hair, i like a lot of loose strands and messy looking hair, start drawing your strands lightly and build up. The only thing that differs with sims 3 is that when drawing the strands i use a bigger brush size to start with then go in with smaller strands later.

step3: *create new layer* blending mode: multiply opacity: 50-60% i'll add shadows to the parts of the hair that 'bend' to add more depth. (remember shadows are never usually completely black, so if the sim has blue hair make the shadow a dark blue)

step4: *create new layer* blending mode: add. opacity 20-30%. i'll add highlight by using the selection tool and similar to how anime hair looks with the hair higlight ill add zig zag lines going around the hair, then go in with my brush lightly making the centre more intense. Once done ill get the eraser and make sure the edges aren't too harsh

step5: *create new layer* blending mode: normal (place under shadows layer. i'll add colour highlights, (for black hair i'll use a littie bit of brown as no ones hair is really completely black)

step 6: *create new layer* blending mode: add. this one is for lighting purposes. for the rest of the screenshot then i'll add extra shine to hair & add shadows to the body

step 7: once i'm done. *create new layer* blending mode: overlay and i'll go over the parts that are in the light. merge all layers together and add some grain so the hair drawing blends in with the rest of the screenshot.

Tiktok Protest

Okay heres the deal. We all know that Trump, whom we must all remember IS the person who started the ball rolling on the Tiktok ban because he hates free speech, is going to hand over TikTok to Mark Goddamn Zuckerberg so he can fold it into his monopoly. He and Musk are both in Trump's pocket and we've just set a precedent that thy can take down any platform that criticizes the government and just claim its "for national security reasons"

We need a bargaining chip.

We Need to make it clear that you will keep using TikTok even if they dont sell and will STOP using tiktok if it is successfully sold to Meta.

We need to make it worthless in Meta's hands.

SO

step one:

Get a VPN. Theres a ton of free ones on Google play. download it and keep connecting until it says you are somewhere other than the US.

step two:

Post a video on tiktok. Threaten to delete your account as well as ALL of your videos off tiktok if it gets sold to Meta making it empty and worthless. You guys made the content that made tiktok worth while and you can take it away.

Step3:

We need a consistent hashtag. Something like #NoMetaSale

whatever tag ends up catching on, you like and comment and share as many of them as you can.

Step4: Be creative! Make graphics, make songs, make skits. Whatever you usually do on your account.

And if this doesnt work and it gets sold to Meta, we all burn it down together.

and the negative part of him, that you saw at the end of step 3, tells him he knew it wouldn't last. that the second one or both of you stepped away from this town, your relationship would unravel.

always tries to ignore it. and when he's more reasonable, and he's brave enough to think so, he thinks that it was good you two broke up because you might not be where you are. again, the negative part tells him you could've done all that with him by your side, and vice versa.

he'd be really awkward for awhile. I think it'd take another year or two for him to open up to the idea of dating you again.

I think if you broke up with him, especially in step 3, cove would end up cold. becomes a bit like his step 1 self, just.. well with the angst but with the ability to deal with it.

he thinks he's become even lamer than when he was younger, even if he was reserved (cold) back then too. but the breakup really just refines him earlier, than if you waited another 15-20 years.

I suppose you could say, that if you went the breakup route, he's be smart and 'cold'

is very happy that you wanna try again. treats it like you've never dated before, which technically, you haven't. he may of learned your new quirks and habits as an adult, but he hasn't learned if you've changed as a partner, and the same is for him

I got off SHOCKINGLY easy here. If that number was ONE lower I'd be having to explain what "playing daeodon" is. Instead, I get one of the most iconic dog breeds that is heavily associated with one specific thing, to the point people have probably used the phrase "playing dalmatian" before. To play dalmatian would be to serve as a firefighting mascot or symbol. You could say Smokey Bear "plays dalmatian" as an icon of fire safety and prevention.

HOW TO MAKE HOT CHOCOLATE

obviously this is not a comprehensive guide to all hot chocolate. Don't be a bean soup lady. This is how I make hot chocolate. I have been told my hot chocolate rules several times and it went to my head VERY fast. This is objectively (imo) the best way to make hotchovlate unless ur a fancy European or something

STEP 1. get a mug

STEP2. put milk in the mug. It can probably be any sort of milk you want, I use skimmed milk sometimes because it's the only milk in the fridge that isn't mouldy.

STEP3. be proud u got this far. I believe in you buddy

STEP4. put the milk in the microwave. No fancy shmancy pots and fuck ass pans we have TECHNOLOGY. This is the correct way; fuck you

STEP5. turn on the microwave. I don't care how long you put it on for just make sure that the milk doesn't light on fire. It can and will happen dont be stupid

STEP6. wait. patience is a virtue and istfg no one has any anymore you can wait two minutes for ur fuck ass hot chocolate Barbara

STEP7. take it out of the microwave

STEP8. put 3 and a half large small spoons of hot chocolate powder into the milk. it must; i repeat, IT MUST be cadburys brand Hot chocolate powder. They don't sell that where you live? SUCKS TO SUCK DICKBAG. Go find an English or better Irish cousin and harass them until they send you some. Don't have an English and or Irish cousin? Check your family tree again I can gauratee you do.

STEP9. put a spoonful of Nutella into your hot chocolate. can't eat nuts? condolences. just get another recipe and cry about how sad your life is I guess.

STEP10. STIR THAT MOTHER FUCKER LIKE YOU ARE GOVING IT A LOBOTOMY

Updated: How I edit my sims 4 screenshots (night-time edition)

A more detailed editing tut so you can understand my process as it may help you, i edited this relatively quickly and usually spend about 1-2hrs editing something...so let's goo.....

Before taking screenshots:

Help yourself as much as you can in-game, I always make sure there is some sort of light source in my pictures or something interesting that I can add to enhance something already there

Understand good/bad composition and add variety by using different angles

I take LOTS of photos just to end up with 1 or 2 good ones

I'll just be using photoshop for this, but i also like to use the procreate app as i'm more confident w it.

step1: I check if there are any major glitches or hard areas e.g, fingers elbows etc.. that have sharp points and pull them in liquify so they are smooth. Then use curves to change the contrast.

step2: *duplicates image* using the dodge and burn tools (keyboard shortcut: o ) i'll add emphasis to highlights and shadows (be careful with these as the dodge tool can ruin the image if used in excess) *merges image* (i duplicate and merge as i go, utilise using lots of layers so you can go back if you mess up/ want to change the opacity of an effect.)

step3: making light sources POP. *new layer* change blending mode to overlay or soft light and choose a colour you like.

step4: *new layer* draw hair strands. i just use a basic round brush in photoshop and change the hardness or i'll use a sharp caligraphy type brush depending on my sims hair type. (i try not to overdo it as i like maxis hair and don't want it to look too realistic)

step5: i would then add a new layer and set the blending mode to multiply to add more shadows, but i don't feel like i need to at this point.

step6: *duplicates image* go to filter > camera raw filter, i change the "light" and "curve" panels, i like green tints in my screenshots especially the night ones. (this is where all the magic happens really so just adjust all the channels to your liking, lightroom is also really good to use)

step7: *create new layer* blending mode: screen or linear dodge (add) / makeup and finishing touches! - for this look i'll get stars and glitter pngs off google or unsplash same for the smoke, though if i'm using procreate they have free brushes for that :')

step8: add light leaks as they add some fun dynamic lighting and textures to your screenshots. (i also flip my image horizantally [image > image rotation > flip canvas horizontally] whilst editing as it's like a "fresh pair of eyes" when you've been editing for a while so you can see what looks off)

final step: merge all the layers (though i do merge along the way once i'm happy with something) go to filter > sharpen > smart sharpen. I leave it as the default setting.

extra step if u want: for party pics i might add chromic abberation here is a 60 second tutorial on youtube it makes the pic look cool and trippy.
