My favourite hobby is making Bro disgustingly human. So human it makes you wonder even further than you usually would why he did the things he did to Dave. Because there was clearly something to hide beneath all that irony and uncaring attitude even if it's shallow.

What did he like other than puppets? What made him love puppets in the first place? What kind of food did he like? Did he ever buy Dave his favourite foods, considering the fridge was never used for food storage? Did he have a favourite colour? Most assume orange but I wonder if he liked something else.

Did he love Dave? Did he do what he did because he needed to know he was safe, or was it stress relief? If it was safety, how much guilt did he feel? Or did he feel none at all, satisfied with the thought that Dave would be safe. But safe from what? The Game? Did he know what Cal would turn into? How much does he know? Or does he know nothing, and just wanted his kid to be tough?

Did he feel guilt never telling Dave he was his dad? Did he ever spin a story to tell Dave where his parents went? Did he make up a sob story or did he just shrug his shoulders and say "they left".

Is Bro in contact with his parents? Do they know Dave exists? Are they dead? Did they disown him? Did Bro disown them? Was it a mutual departure? Does he miss them? Think about them and wonder if Dave would have gotten along with them?

Do you think they were a thought in his mind when he died? Do you think he thought about Dave? Damned himself for not being able to protect him better? Or did he die knowing he did what he could? Was he proud of Dave? Proud of himself?

Does any of that even matter when you've made a kid too afraid to open a bottle of apple juice?

i drew this for myself because i have a tendency to want to tap past people i like into their core and, this was well received apparently, so much appreciated that it reminded me too much of myself and the one thing i think made me finally feel human!!

(is it a fundamental human need to have someone sit in front of you and hold your wet filthy rotting soul and say its okay?)

apparently this is the effect i have had and i don’t know how to comprehend this!!!! i've waited my whole life for this!!!

the parallels between (us) are too strong to wonder if maybe we're just the same person?

but i think there's that sense of fear of your own capacity to cause harm which i think dirk encapsulates best.

you know who you are, in that you don’t know who you are or what you can do. you've only seen past iterations of yourself do things. they've caused so much pain!!!!

Digital art is amazing and actually very difficult for me to process... They both are good but I’d like to upgrade my digital skill a bit more this year!!

But yeah, I’ll always be a traditional artist by heart, I like to work this way and there’s a lot of advantages having original arts!
