REPOSTOBER, day 10: Environment studies (2015)

2014 was a hard yet productive year: I switched from SAI to PS and started to learn how to draw environments and all that while studying in uni as an interior designer. My brain felt like mashed potatoes. I hated myself. I hated my art.

Now, after almost ten years, looking back at the works I did back then, I see that some of them were actually pretty cool. I just coundn't see it at a time. I was a twenty years old girl who wanted to have the same level and the same knowlendge that the artists I admired had. I just couldn't acknowledge that the artists I admired had at least ten years of experince in the industry while me being a confused young adult who had chosed a wrong university.

I should have been proud of myself yet I was so sad and disappointed and bitter that I almost quit art. But I didn't. And all the hard work I put in polishing my skill actually started paying off.

Back then, I was absolutely sure that I such at drawing backgrounds. I hated these. HATED.

Now I look at these works and I see how DRASTICALLY my art improved in a single year. Studying in Uni was hard. Studying art at the same time was INSANE. And even now, after nine years!! of hard work I still think that these studies were kinda cool.

Hi,

so i have this big exam coming tomorrow and i sat to study yesterday evening. The thing was that i couldn’t focus. So instead of learning and annotating my pdf like a normal student would when they have an exam in 2 days, I -in fact- opened the document and then after scrolling for 20 min started drawing on it.

So, enjoy the doodling.

Also i might have had a Taylor Swift song in my head at the time.

I’m over-tired and probably going to read a bunch of your fics tonight cuz I’m just thinking about cyno coming home from a long day of school or exams and I know it’s redundant but liiike this is a Sickfic blog after all. He’s tired and maybe ate one too many cheap sandwiches or quick snacks just to power through it all. He gets home to nari and his kind sweet boyfriend has made a lovely dinner. And maybe Cyno does his best to eat it too but he just can’t finish it. He’s had too many other weird foods and has not slept enough and maybe something he ate earlier gave him food poisoning or he’s gotten sick. Idk He tried he really wants nari to know that he appreciated all he did but just wants to lie down. OR maybe Tighnari finds him curled up with the stuffed fox and that’s how he knows he’s really not well. 🥺

Idk if he throws up or not but maybe late late into the night his body decides to reject everything that was just sitting in him. And from there it just goes down hill

anyways that’s all I’m gonna try really hard to sleep in tomorrow 🥲🤣

No apologies for redundancy, there's only so many sickfic scenarios out there, we thrive on making a redundant story unique every time, hehe.

I honestly freaking love that idea!! Tighnari does his usual "you sure you're okay?" and of course feels his forehead because that's just what Nari does when something seems even remotely off. But Cyno doesn't feel warm and he assures Tighnari he feels fine, he's just incredibly, incredibly exhausted, and wants to go lie down.

Tighnari continues on with things while Cyno goes to take a shower and lie down; putting away the dishes, going over some of his own studywork, so on, but Cyno remains in the back of his head. He decides to go check on him after a little less than an hour and finds Cyno curled up on one side in bed, loosely hugging his stuffed fox and covered in a fine sheen of sweat. That's when Tighnari realised 'alright something is wrong.'

He gently wakes Cyno up, now Cyno is feeling more off and just so tired. Tighnari takes his temperature to be certain he's not running a fever, properly tucks him into bed, draws the curtain, and goes to lie down with him. Cyno softly rejects the offer of any teas or such, and falls back into a restless sleep with Tighnari now watching over him.

He sleeps until somewhere late in the night when he wakes up really not feeling good and eventually starts to throw up.

K-POP Theory: (G)I-DLE are the investors behind BRD COMMUNICATIONS

With the talks of them not renewing their contracts this year, I decided to make an official well-though out post behind a theory I've had since Soojin's solo debut. Let's look behind Soojin for a second and put our bussiness glasses on. Quickly, a few questions will pop up. 1. Who the fuck is An Jin Yong? The CEO isn't a well known rich person or someone in the music industry. So who is this mysterious founder and what is their vision for their company? 2. Considering they aren't a well known person for their riches, where did they get the decent looking budget for Soojin's debut from? 3. Or the money for Soojin to go overseas for gigs? 4. Why debut someone so risky as your very first artist? 5. And why do we almost half a year later, still have no reports of other artists or trainees joining the label? It would be financially safer to sign a few more artists as fast as possible in case Soojin's re-debut doesn't works out, so why are we hearing crickets? BRD communications, as you can see, is shrouded in mystery. A label that practically popped up out of nowhere and solely seems to care about saving Soojin's idol career. You'd almost think that the CEO is Soojin's fairy godmother. Or, more realistically, a secret business partner of (G)I-DLE. Let's not forget that after Soojin got kicked out, Soyeon was spotted with the PNation card and there is that alleged interview where she said she was interested in starting her own label. Both Shuhua and Yuqi have made statements implying they are counting down the days that their contract expires. And it's no secret that the ot5 MVs and Soojin's seem to reference each other. So what if Soyeon acted immediately after Soojin got kicked out by already doing some studywork on how to build her own company? That would be around the same time that An Jin Yong was looking to establish BRD communications. How unlikely is it that two people who are looking to start a similar bussiness, ran into one another and decided to combine their skillset? Because from the Chinese looking name, the founder likely is a foreigner who could be skilled in international business deals which Soyeon or the other girls aren't. I think, that during this period, Soyeon met An Jin Yong and offered them the deal to invest in BRD communications and to bring connections and staff to the label alongside (G)I-DLE once their contract expires as long as they sign and supported Soojin too. With how secretive this label is and the fact we're dealing with a musical genius (Soyeon), an academic genius (Yuqi) and a billionaire (Minnie), this almost machiavellian level of scheme could actually be possible. An Jin Yong and (G)I-DLE are working together as the ultimate masterminds of the K-POP industry. It's the only way to make sense of the BRD communications mystery.
