Okay well now im incredibly irritated and pissed now cause someone in my family ate my damn Hershey’s chocolate out of EVERYTHING in the fucking kitchen. I think i’m just angrier than i normally would be cause i think my period’s coming soon and i barely got that chocolate like a day or two ago.

I bet it was my sister too!!! She eats my damn food without asking, everyone in this family does (but she does it most). And then they wonder why i hate sharing. Cause they eat all of my food despite the fact they have everything themselves!!!! God i just KNOW im gonna be the greediest bitch with everything i own when im older but i dont care, i just am tired of having to “share” everything and be told that someone will buy a replacement and then it never happens

Several weeks ago one of my coworkers called me over into her cubicle and gave me a very unexpected gift. Her mother passed away recently, and she'd been packing stuff up at her condo to give to relatives and sell, so the home could be sold. The mother was an avid knitter and crocheter, and when my coworker came upon her stash of equipment, she told me, she "immediately thought of me as someone who might get some use out of it."

So, I have inherited a varied collection of knitting needles and crochet hooks, cable needles, sewing needles, and, best of all, now-out-of-print pattern books, mostly for blankets, because that was what this lady loved to make most. Plus, I also have a bunch of gauge swatches she made, pinned to little bits of card covered in perfect schoolteacher handwriting setting out the patterns they were made to test.

And also...

My coworker brought another bag, full of yarn and...knitted blanket squares. Her mother's last started project, before she got too sick to continue. And she asked if there was anything I could do with it.

It turned out, there are twelve completed squares, and I quickly located the pattern book they are from amid those given to me. It's a book of 60 patterns, meant to be put together however the maker wishes into blankets of 20 squares. I figured out which of the numbered patterns were already made, and selected eight more that I thought might go well with them.

So now! I am working on completing! My coworker's mother's last knitting project!

And I really am feeling very good about doing it.

I’m trying so hard to enjoy your art but seeing submissive women violently disgusts me.

I appreciate the effort! There's lots of folks who dislike some (or all!) of my art/comics for one reason or another. Whether it's being grossed out by Monsterfucking or finding Polyamorous Power Rangers weird. Sometimes my art style just fails the vibe check. Everyone is entitled to their own preferences and I hope they, (and you!) find something cool that matches their tastes. If your goal here is to get me to draw other stuff, I'm not sure I can do much for you there. If I stopped drawing everything a commenter told me they didn't like I'm not sure I'd manage to draw anything at all.

but also stan having to steal waste frequently during those past few weeks + ford doing the same and being all "well actually i can justify this pretty easily! the government doesn't properly dispose of them anyway!!!😤" *leaves the remnants out on his porch*
