[Excerpt from Y/N L/N's Buzzfeed Playing with Puppies Interview]

Y/N is sitting down on the floor, enthusiastically chatting to someone off camera. “Listen Roz I’m so serious, you’re going to have to physically incapacitate me when I want to take them all home. It will happen, and you will need to stop me.”

Someone from the crew giggles, as they instruct Y/N to readjust her lavalier microphone.

“Alright, so it’s super easy – you just sit there, and we bring the pups to you!”

“Oh my god. This is my dream. I always say to my friends that I’d just really love to be in a puppy pile, and it’s finally happening. The pinnacle of my career. This is why I became a singer,” she chatters, then gasps as the first puppies are brought out.

“Oh hiiii,” she almost whimpers at the sight of them, some a little more active, others a little sleepy. One immediately snuggles into her lap, and Y/N looks off-camera to someone meaningfully. “I am taking him home.” Someone can be heard laughing and saying “no, you can’t” in response, to which Y/N sighs in defeat.

“So, can you tell us who you are, and what you do”

“My name’s Y/N L/N, and I’m a singer-songwriter. But today I’m a professional puppy cuddle buddy.”

“Here’s your first question – you mentioned recording a song in Taylor Swift’s studio for the Prophecy. What does it look like?”

“Oh my – oh they smell so good I swear, I’m so sorry I didn’t hear a word you said.” The interviewer repeats the question, as Y/N tries really hard to maintain eye contact with them instead of the puppies roaming around her.

“It’s a really beautiful space, a sanctuary, really. And it’s just amazing to think that so many iconic songs and albums have been partially written and recorded there as well. Taylor is a wonderful friend to have in this industry, and – oh just look at this little guy. He’s so cute!!!”

“Second question: You’re in the middle of a world tour right now. What was your own first tour that you remember going to?”

“Oh look at this one, he’s just playing around, such a little goofball. Sorry, sorry – the question. My first concert? You know it was probably some type of children’s act? My parents aren’t super into music, so the first time I went to see someone and paid for the ticket myself, it was probably Taylor actually.”

“Third question: You said you’re into reading. What’s your latest recommendation?”

“I try to read, yeah! It’s so easy to get sucked into my phone, but I always bring books and an e-reader. Oof, careful little guy, those tiny teeth are sharp,” she disentangles her finger from a puppy’s mouth, then hugs him close to her chest and kisses his head. “I love you, don’t worry. So, yeah, what was I saying? I think with reading I’m always in two minds about it. I enjoy literary fiction, but I also love fantasy. So I recently started There Are Rivers in the Sky from Elif Shafak, and then I’ve been re-reading the Fourth Wing series by Rebecca Yarros. Love that dragon. Maybe we should name you Tairn, or Xaden,” Y/N points at a puppy with dark fur and brown eyes.

“Do they all have names already? All of them are up for adoption, right? But surely these personalities – ah okay. His name’s Lewis?” She smiles cheekily, but doesn't comment further.

One of the dogs lets out a pitiful little whine, and Y/N immediately looks down. “What’s up little pup? Are you unhappy? Can we get them some water, some snacks?”

Someone steps in with a bowl of water, then asks the next question. “What’s something you do to relax on your days off?”

“Hmm aside from reading? Honestly, I love to just hang out with my family. Go do minigolf, something fun together.”

“Not actual golf?”

Y/N snorts, her fingers absentmindedly petting the puppies that have since fallen asleep in her lap. “My partner has tried to get me into it, and I love how much he enjoys it, but it’s not for me. So I’ll happily drive the golf cart and cheer him on instead.”

“Are you not competitive?”

You scrunch your nose at the word. “I think I am, but I’m more scared of others thinking I’m not good enough – so then I abandon serious pursuit of victory. If it’s just a laugh, then it’s fine if you’re not great at something. It’s something I’m working on!”

She kisses one of the pups that’s woken up from its nap on his tiny nose. “I love you, you, you’re such a tiny little angel aren’t you?”

“Alright, next question: If you were in an emergency situation, who would you call to bail you out?”

“Probably Lando. He’d be fast, you know?” Y/N smiles at the camera. “By the way, he’s going to be SO jealous of me for getting to hang out with pups all day.”

“If you weren’t a singer-songwriter, what do you think you’d be doing?”

“Hmm, I’d probably have gone to university – maybe literature, or maybe political science. Then I’d go work for an NGO? I’d love to know I was making a difference in people’s lives I think.”

“Last question – what are you most looking forward to?”

“Aside from the new, upgraded tour? I can’t believe I’ll be playing stadiums. That feels very surreal. Apart from that, we’re getting some renovations done on the house right now and I’m super excited to see my library fantasy come to life. I want to have a ladder on wheels.”

You quietly stroke the fur of a red and white puppy that’s been curled up in your lap since the beginning. “I’m going to cry having to give these back. But I’m going to, I will. It’d be irresponsible to adopt a dog right now, maybe next year we’ll get on that. Please, if you are able and willing, adopt these sweet little puppies – and I will personally come by and hangout with your pup and you.”

The screen fades to black, and then there’s a shaky camera that follows Y/N as she laughs while talking on the phone. “I know! I said you would,” she’s overheard saying. “There’s one in particular, I just – ” she trails off, listening to whatever’s being said on the other end of the line. “Do you really think so?” Her smile widens. “I love you so much, you have no idea,” she nods excitedly at her assistant and starts walking towards the animal shelter representative. “Yeah I’ll keep you posted, say hi from me to your brother and Sav please. Ok, see you. Bye.”

Curious to know when you stopped thinking kaylor were still together, was it in 2024, or did you just realize what you thought was true in the last few years wasn’t and that they’ve been over for a while

Taylor beginning to Beard with the NFL was shocking to me so I’d say that was my first inkling something was off. She’s never contracted with a corporation before to protect her closet. She had finally publicly ended the Joe contract after 7 years, had a weird month long contract with Matt H that did nothing for either of them, and I was like ok this is it, she’s gonna be single again, this is how she rebuilds up to a coming out and living her truth with Karlie

And then it’s announced she’s with Travis Kelce. Instead of subtle barely there Bearding like she did with Joe, we are getting intensely hetero, nearly constant press about her and TK. They are everywhere all the time. She starts changing her image to be more traditionally GF of an athlete or WAGish. Designer logos, tighter fits, more boobs, jewelry in the hundreds of thousands of dollars at every stunt, and eventually a bunch of more drastic plastic surgery compared to the subtle work of the past. She’s got a public facing booth at the stadium where people can watch her overact like an idiot during every play for maximum exposure. People articles every few days about how happy they are and what’s next for them. Out to dinner stunts weekly—that super embarrassing fake drive in a convertible down a blocked off road. The list goes on and on—including becoming BFF with BM who is openly MAGA and heavily involved in her mega church that still believes in conversion therapy…..Miss Americana is dead it seems

Meanwhile, Karlie is a mother to a toddler and infant trying her damndest like we all do, to navigate the change to motherhood. Taylor is routinely choosing to stunt on holidays or dates that could be important to Karlie. She’s doing Eras tour and decides to extend it several times. She flies Travis to her shows and puts him in the fucking set as part of it. Over the next year, Taylor’s brand shifts from Taylor Swift the artist to Travis & Taylor the relationship

Abigail recently unfollowed Karlie on IG out of the blue after she announced her 3rd pregnancy. There’s zero reason to do that now, after these women have not been publicly linked together since 2018 unless something happened and Taylor told her to

Karlie’s 90 min interview where she gets very emotional discussing how much Josh has supported her change to becoming a mother and helped her remember not to lose herself

Karlies intense work for abortion advocacy, women in tech, and helping people in her hometown after tornadoes destroyed parts of it while Taylor can’t even be bothered to post a story anymore about anything other than the 37th album variant

And now Taylor admitting she never re-recorded Rep because it was from a very specific time in her life aka it’s too painful to relive knowing she fumbled one of the most lovely women on the planet right now

All of this adds up to me believing they called it quits for good. Kaylor happened, no doubt in my mind. I just think Karlie finally put herself and her kids first and said I’m walking away from this circus forever

Hey! First of all, I wanted to share that in the two seconds between opening this ask and googling it I forgot the name of the publication, and I giggled for two whole minutes over these suggestions:

I'm not very updated on queer subtext in cartoons/”kids’ content” generally, certainly not in Disney, and the meta around them. Heck, I’m not even updated on the meta around Luca, I have barely watched any of the interviews, BTS stuff, just slowly absorbing it as I go in the fandom. But I feel like Enrico's gotta be one of the directors that are more open and positive about this interpretation? When I first got into the fandom I was very pleasantly surprised with how little denial there seemed to be over the queer subtext. I love that. And I love that Enrico seems to genuinely not mind, or enjoy that interpretation.

I am very... I'd rather be pessimistic about these things, but I am a fan and shipper at heart (surprise!) and certain bites of this makes me want to scream. I'm not gonna pull snippets, 'cause it got super long. But how he says "we were really focusing on friendship and so pre-romance". Um. I. Need a moment.

"There’s no crush yet. And we kept on saying, well, the next summer probably, right? And you don’t know which way but we were very aware of let’s not even go there with [Luca and Alberto’s human friend] Giulia. We wanted that to be about friendship for all the trio."

I feel like this is very easy to take as "yes, they will start crushing on each other next summer", but I'm fairly certain he just means it as just "they still haven't begun thinking about those things yet". (And maybe even wording it like that specifically as bait. Sorry, I am a pessimist at heart. I let Taylor Swift’s queerbait me for two years straight and I’m not letting it happen again.)

I really, really love that they made a conscious choice to not make Giulia a romantic interest. Not just for shipping Luberto's sake, but for Giulia's sake. I love that she's a girl who's allowed to just exist and have friends who are boys with absolutely no romantic connotations. (I mean, some people certainly see it and ship her with them, but to me I see absolutely no other connection than instant BFF-ery.)

I also love how, regardless of the intention of maybe hinting at a romance blossoming or not, he’s fully embracing the queer interpretation, and is happy we are seeing ourselves in it and taking it to heart:

“it’s so wonderful and even more powerful for the LGBTQ+ community who has felt so much of as an outsider, right, where this is so real and stronger than my experience(...)“

In conclusion - I am very happy with the way Enrico and the others on the team are dealing with it, and some part of me wants to think they consciously did write it with romantic intention but had to slip it under Disney's nose, but I don't think this is confirmation or anything. It's certainly a lot more positive than a lot of fandoms get from their creators!

I am curious if the mentions of “maybe next summer” is baiting or possibly early hints of more Luca content, though. I’d rather stay pessimistic and be pleasantly surprised if it happens. (Though I am very reluctant about more content ruining the canon we already have, particularly if it’s for setting the boys up with straight love stories. I feel like if the themes of “growing up and figuring yourself out” themes were to continue, romance plots would be the very obvious - and very Disney - route to take.)

so over the next couple of weeks its more awkward than it has ever been before and the sleepovers with jeno seem so divided 

its either jeno and you or jeno and jaemin its never the three of you anymore :((((((

jaemin isn’t ignoring your feelings though, dont worry! hes just trying to sort his out

because your confession kind of opened his eyes

he doesnt want to force himself to like you but he cant help but admit that when he first heard you talking about your feelings a huge warmth spread through his chest and he may or may not have uncovered some feelings

these feelings were always there but he suppressed in grade nine cause he thought you’d never like him and you just wanted to stay friends

so he pushed them down and never thought about it again

but obviously that didnt happen because now youre on his mind 24/7 and he wishes that he could just talk to you but hes kind of nervous

so after taking advice from jeno he tries to talk to you more, like asking how your day went and starting up conversations

youre  kind of like “what u playing at son” but you leave it cause you know jaemin would never do you dirty like that

it stays this way for a while until one night theres a particularly bad thunderstorm and jaemin is scared of thunder

and so when youre just playing on your phone jaemin opens your door slightly and has this scared look on his face

and you know that jaemin is scared of thunder so you open your arms without any words being shared

a huge boom of thunder makes jaemin squeal and jump into your arms

and he gets comfy under the covers as youre holding him, no words shared between you two

he starts to feel much better and this sense of comfort washes over him like,,, youre his home

and as hes falling asleep he softly mutters

“im sorry it took me so long”

and youre just straight confused like what does that mean is he talking about his feelings or just the fact that yall havent had such an close encounter in a while 

the next morning you wake up and jaemins arms and you guys are facing eachother

and hes already awake so when you oepn your eyes you find him already looking at you

“thank you for last night, youre the best” he whispers and youre like all good fam i understand

but then he leans in closer and is like “i should have told you this so long ago, but i am in love with you”

your eyes widen and youre like wh AT the FUCJ your heart is beating at like 420 bpm and ur shooketh

he just smiles and pulls in you in closer and its just a super soft moment and no words have to be said

that night you guys are cuddling on the couch after dinner when jaemin just asks you be his gf

OF COURSE YOU SAY YES! you have been waiting for this moment for god knows how long

jeno is all like damn fina-fucking-ly i’ve been watching this romance play out for like 5 years! 

its super cute

its even better that you guys are roommates because youre already living together so you get to see eachother everyday

Speak Now coming out 8 years ago today makes me feel old af and super emotional. I remember that day like it was yesterday. I was hanging out with my friends and I asked them to bring me to target after we ate at this really good buffet and omg I was soooo excited to get the Target version of Speak Now! That was the first time I bought a Taylor Swift album on its release date. My friends knew how excited I was to get it and they were so supportive and let me play it in the car on the way home 😍 Then shortly after I purchased my first car, I drove my bff at the time to a mall BLASTING Speak Now the whole time! That was the soundtrack to the rest of that school year honestly. I think that’s when I realized how much I love Taylor ❤️ so happy 8 years Speak Now! I am going to blast it on the way to work and pretend I’m still that 16 (going on 17) year old girl!

reflections on 2018 whassupppp (this is my 5th year doing this wow)

this is kind of a weird thing and I don’t know if this was the first year it was true, but I really felt like an actual adult in 2018???? idk if it was living in a house or having a consistent full time job or just like, feeling proficient at dealing with my problems like an adult but yeah. it’s kind of a nice feeling tbh. everyone likes to whine about growing up but I’m happy.

I made a couple Big Life Decisions but I’m not super ready to talk about those yet so I’m gonna go with events that happened as per usual:

- shannen and I said “no deadlines 2018″ and I thought that would mean we would take like a 4-6 month break but then we just... didn’t film anything all year. Which is fine, honestly, we did need the break. 2019 we’re back to deadlines, though, because I’m finally going to write the show I’ve been sort of working on for the past 3 years (not film it yet, just write it)

- INGRID VISITED US. this is the most important thing that happened in the year, everything else go home. it was amazing and everything I wanted it to be and it’s been over 6 months since she left and I’m still sad about it whoops

- we got into twice!!!!!!! god bless those 9 balls of sunshine and joy I owe them so much

- I continue to be unhealthily obsessed with rainbow rowell, lin manuel miranda, and darren criss (as I was writing this post he won a golden globe, what a star)

- I kept the same job for an entire year wow (also s/o to jesse my work bff who is a mess but we love him anyway) 

- I finally let my employment expire with disney after like. 6 years.

- I lived in an honest to god house!!! one of my roommates is super annoying but I’m really glad alexis (cool roommate) and I met and became friends, she’s very good I love her. I love our house I’m gonna be v sad to leave it

- I started doing embroidery! and I’m pretty decent at it! also I’m still into sewing and just crafting in general and I’m feeling good about my path to being Craft Mom someday

- don’t worry I continued to basically live at s&s’s house on weekends I love them a lot and I’m so glad they’re my best friends (sappyyyyy)

- literally like, everyone I know was getting in relationships (cough sara cough amanda cough alexis cough I’m happy for all of them dw) and I had a weird month over the summer where I joined okcupid and attempted to care about boys (I’ve since ditched that, no thank u)

- my mom and I visited Seattle and stayed with my godmother for like 4 days

- I started volunteering at The Center which is an lgbt center in orlando

- I saw taylor swift for the second time and she sang long live so I can die happy now

- my beloved minivan got totaled in a wreck and now I drive a frog baby, we’re still bonding, it’s a process

- I visited tally in november for the first time since feb 2017

- I went to new york for thanksgiving and stayed with jen and we went to the parade and it was SO COLD!!!!!!! but fun (also I saw jules)

- my sister got engaged/married and I have......very mixed feelings about it but the wedding was really fun and I genuinely hope they will be happy together

I think that’s all I got??? I’m sure I forgot something (I did, I’ve already been back to edit this). bye 20gayteen thanks for being (sort of) better to us, let’s keep it going this year

a super long and sappy happy pride post 🌈

just a heads up this post is going to be super sappy but it’s just how i’m feeling 🤷🏻‍♀️ i just want to say that i love being in the lgbtqia+ community more than anything in this world. it feels so good to say that and be out (at least on the internet). i don’t think i would be as comfortable with myself as i am now if it weren’t for 1d and the 1d fandom. 1d has always been an escape and a fun time for me since i was in 7th grade and i’m now going into my sophomore year of college!! that’s insane to me. this group of five random boys was able to bring me out of my shell and helped me realize that being bi or non-labeled isn’t a bad thing and that i should embrace who i am no matter what. with that being said, i don’t think i’d be as happy as i am now without the friends that i’ve made in this fandom. i still get into depressive states from time to time but i’m lucky enough to have the friends that i do and that support me and cheer me up whenever i’m feeling down. now it’s time to thank everyone individually because you all deserve it,

TAY!! Haha I have to tell you something funny...

So you know how I had my last teaching observation last week??

Well I decided that for my observation I would make a story with my class. (All in Spanish.)

So we started with our main character (which was a hamburger?) and when I was asking the class what to name it, they almost all yelled out “Taylor Swift”!

(They ALWAYS want to bring you into our stories but we ended up naming our hamburger Kenny🙄 because they always want to bring him in too.)

Anyways, flash forward two days and I’m sitting in my post-observation meeting with my supervisor.

That FIRST THING he says as I sit down is “okay so I haaaave to ask - what’s with Taylor Swift?!” And he laughs.

And I was like YO HOMIE I LOVE HER SO MUCH WE ARE BFFS AND SO YA KNOW THOSE PERSONAL DAYS YOU APPROVED FOR ME IN OCTOBER?? YEAH I ACTUALLY RAN OFF TO NASHVILLE BECAUSE TAYLOR INVITED ME TO HER MOM’S HOUSE AND I HEARD THE ALBUM AND WE GOT TO MEET AND HANG OUT (and I actually yanked my phone out to show him my lock screen 😂)

I was just super happy I got to tell yet ANOTHER person about that magical day and how kind and sweet and funny you are.

Also - this was my BEST observation yet this year and he said that I have been doing so well and I just wanted to tell you that. I know I struggle with my career all. The. Time. And I’ve been feeling super defeated lately and discouraged... but this meeting was a little bit refreshing.

Which types of music or which artists do you listen to?

Hi anon! A short answer to that would be to check out my sidebar on my page - back when Last.FM was relevant they used to have a band logo generator and compiled an image full of band logos for the top bands you would listen to. I’ve kept it ever since.

Longer answer: I was never good at pegging generas. Like I’d call Green Day pop-rock whereas some would throw rocks at me and say punk (early years I can see it, not so much with new stuff). Or Bayside punk and then more rocks would be thrown and I’d be screamed at by people saying ‘they’re not punk they’re screamo’ and I never believed in screamo/emo as a fucking genera of music, period. (and as a side note: screamo and emo always felt like slurs/derogatory comments because of the way people used them around me but apparently now - on tumblr - it’s become a term of endearment? and it just doesn’t sit well with me). 

Anyway - I guess pop-rock, rock, hard rock, pop-punk, what isn’t quiet metal IMO but is harder than hard rock so idk what to call it, and whatever the combo of rap and rock is called. Mostly. Like when a recipe calls for ‘a pinch of’ I’ve too got a pinch of hip-hop, indie, and garbage (I call it garbage because what the fuck am I doing? lol)

Toppers: The Used, Bayside, Fall Out Boy, Linkin Park, Green Day. Pretty Solid top 5. 

Some oldies like Styx, the Kinks, Cher, Helen Ready, Simon and Garfunkel, Don Henley, Don McLean and Gordon Lightfoot and god I didn’t realize how many there are because there’s a lot more. All are leftovers from when my mom was in control of all the music. 

Then there’s MY “oldies”: Nysnc, Britney Spears, Christina Aguleria (i’m too tried to spell it so i hope thats right), Backstreet Boys, S Club 7, Aaron Carter, and every disney song ever. They’re still on my iPod and I’m not ashamed. They make me happy.

There’s the bands/artists that shaped my music taste during my music-awakening back in the early 2000s - Pink, Good Charlotte, Green Day, Sum 41, Linkin Park, My Chemical Romance, Blink-182, AFI, Alkaline Trio, Fall Out Boy, Panic! At the Disco, The Used, The Ataris, New Found Glory, Yellowcard, Anberlin, 30 Seconds to Mars, and Avril Lavigne. 

There’s the bands that filled in my ‘somewhat harder/more screamier music faze’: UnderOath, Atreyu, Avenged Sevenfold, Saosin, Aiden, From First to Last, Bullet for my Valentine, Breaking Benjamin, and a few others I’m probably forgetting because I don’t really listen to them anymore except for Atreyu (and I would A7X but my opinion of them was kinda thrown into the fucking mud and beat to death around 07 and never quite recovered). 

There’s the bands that came to me during my “I wanna be Bam Margera times”: CKY, HIM, The Rasmus, Bloodhound Gang, The 69 Eyes being the most prominent ones.

There’s the bands I used to obsess over in my late teens and no longer want to hear anymore of: Mindless Self Indulgence, LostProphets (because I just keep remembering their singer was a disgusting pedo and it’s ruined everything). 

There’s the newbies: Twenty One Pilots, Icon For Hire, HAMILTON (which counts because it owns me), Arctic Monkeys, Starset, Imagine Dragons, Julia Michaels, Bastille. 

There’s the super guilty pleasures: Demi Lovoto, Selena Gomez, a couple of Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber songs that I can tolerate, 1 One Direction song. A few Carrie Underwood thanks to my sister.

There’s the stuff my BFF got me into and hates that I don’t like them as much as she does since she’s pretty much abandoned everything except the bands listed below and ‘super unknown local un-signed bands’ because apparently she turned into a hipster with her music or something: Hollerado, Born Cages, A Silent Film, Foxy Shazam, Mother Mother, the Architects, Paper Tongues. 

There’s whatever Hollywood Undead is but I’ve been listening since No. 5 was the only thing on their myspace and god knows why I keep coming back (because they keep getting better). lol

A fuck ton of musicals, too.

Now, this is by no way a full list. I’ll probably read through this later and kick myself in the ass screaming HOW COULD YOU HAVE FORGOT TO MENTION HOW OBSESSED YOU WERE WITH THREE DAYS GRACE? or BUT BRAND NEW SHOULD BE ON THAT LIST, TOO. or WHAT ABOUT RISE AGAINST OMFG I CAN’T BELIEVE YOU ALMOST FORGOT TO MENTION THEM.

Ignoring the tone of the entire thing (I just woke up and to me all of this sounded funny when I wrote it tho maybe doesn’t come across that way) music means a lot to me. I’m guessing this was brought on by my Chester Bennington post (though maybe not I’m just making an assumption) and I have posted ad nauseam about having a PERSONAL ESSAY PLAYLIST of over 120 songs that I feel could have been written about me, personally, because I relate to them so hard. Music is how I connect with other people. Truly connect with them. So if you (or anyone else) ever wants to come back and talk music with me PLEASE do. Because I can only connect so much through other media (games/tv/movies) but MUSIC is where it’s at for me. Music is what fills my bones and makes me so emotional to a point where I almost feel like the force is real and it’s fucking tearing me apart because IDK what to do with it. LOL

(side note - star wars made official playlists for all the characters and i want EVERY franchise to do that because, like I said - it’s how I connect, and omg they’re wonderful. And for the record OBVS my music taste is a combo of Anakin and Kylo with a sprinkle of everyone elses for the most part.)

Basically I’m just listing everything I still write for or that I blog about a LOT.

-          Les mis – I share pretty much zero experiences with them. But as a teenage girl coming in contact with the musical, Eponine. Absolutely. That desperate why won’t he see me feeling – the idea that falling in love and having it returned will fix everything. Wow, seems like Eponine and Rebecca are a LOT alike when you put it like that.

-          Crazy ex gf – Rebecca. Like, beyond what should be normal. But mostly I identify with Rebecca because normality is kinda out of reach for both of us. You Stupid Bitch or Sexy French Depression are iconic and relatable beyond what’s comfortable. Sometimes she is the reflection of the worst parts of myself. The whole “we’ll never have problems again” thing… I wish it was as easy as that.

-          The 100 – I mostly identify with aspects of the characters. I’m sometimes the head, sometimes the heart (I’m both Clarke and Bellamy eff yeah), but I’m also like Raven. My issues may not be visible, but that storyline for her just hit me where I live. Also, I’m probably a lot like Wells – Hufflepuff pride. I would absolutely lie to friends to keep them safe and happy even if it meant they hated me.

18: what’s your patronus

I actually don’t have a whole theory of what my patronus would be. If anyone else has ideas about this, please let me know. But I do have a patronus-worthy memory to share: on my way home from a short vacation with my BFF, singing along to random songs in the car back to my place and I realize that I wouldn’t change a freaking thing about that moment.

-          Treacherous – Taylor Swift (this slope is treacherous – I like it / I can’t decide if it’s a choice, getting swept away / nothing safe is worth the drive). I’m a firm believer in there being a TSwift song for every situation – you can thank my Ohio “sister” Lizzie for that one. And the way my not quite love life is going, this one seems most apt.

-          Strip Away My Conscience – Rachel Bloom (Crazy Ex GF). Now I don’t connect to the lyrics really, even though I love singing them. But it’s the way this song is trying so hard to be sexy but every time it gets close HAHA JOKE ABOUT STUFF. That is pretty much what I do every time I have to act sexy for the show I’m in (same when we did Lady Marmalade) – and it drives me crazy about myself. Also, hello my ship I’m trash.

-          Strong As An Oak – WATSKY. Even though I’m mostly broke most of the time, I’m living my life and I’m doing it my way. I’m not living life in pursuit of riches – I’m in pursuit of happiness, of creativity.
