he’s had a rough day; his back hurts, his brain is fried, and he wants nothing more than to just go to sleep. but he’s too wound up from practice which makes him completely restless. and that’s how he finds himself in front of mae’s door. he gives it a quick knock then turns the handle and walks right in. “feeling up for a little painting?” he asks, praying to some unseen god that they are. he doesn’t want to have to think, he just wants to relax. and nothing relaxes him more than the feel of a brush stroke against his back over and over. “i even picked up some new stencils on my way.” he says, holding up the bag. “figured you might wanna try out some new designs or something.” he shrugs.

don’t call him out but he goes on picnics ALONE a lot like a fucking LOSER. so if he ever reached a point where he actually liked someone (lol), he’d probably take them on a picnic date or really anything where they can be outside, but secluded. nothing noisy!!!! he’d wanna be alone with them to rly appreciate the moment :))

pre-sex minki honestly believed that sex was gonna just be lame and gross so it took him a bit to warm up to the idea of letting someone other than Himself touch him. he was just CHILLIN in the hallway one day and a girl came up to talk to him and randomly kissed him and he was like... oh word? that was nice??? so then he started experimenting a lil more. he ended up having his first time w/ a cute boy but it was... kinda awful bc neither of them knew wtf to do. he likes to pretend it never happened bc it was uncomfortable, ended rly fast, and then his parents stopped the guy when he was trying to leave and they all had 2 have dinner together :-( yikes

☁  five times my muse has thought about yours, and the one time they do something about it.

the first time is when he’s passing by a toy shop and sees a stuffed elephant in the window. but he continues on, smiling to himself. 

the second time is when he’s at an art show, waiting for her to show up, and there is a painting that looks just like her (at least to him) and he smiles to himself again. 

the third time is when he’s eating his father’s rather burnt apple crisp (he still doesn’t know how his father managed that). knowing how she loves apples. 

the fourth time is when he’s procrastinating on homework and doodling on his project proposal. she’d like his doodle.

the fifth time is when they were watching phantom of the opera, her favourite movie,  in his critical media class. he was going to snapchat her a picture, but decided he should focus on the movie instead. 

the time he does something about it is when she hadn’t contacted him in a day or two. he was worried, taking the time to knock on her door softly and check up on her. chicken soup in hand just in case she was sick, the elephant stuffie he went back to get and phantom of the opera that he got off of amazon in the other.

it was nothing out of the ordinary for minki to feel stuck in his dorm, desperate to get out and do something. it was really a shock that he’d managed to stick around for college, and the idea of him holding down a real job like being a teacher was a bit strange sometimes, but he knew that during the summers he’d have free reign, and that was encouraging enough to keep him put. it depended on his mood, who he’d call to keep him company. sometimes he went alone, sometimes with jo, sometimes river, but there were definitely intentions behind hitting mae up. usually there were intentions behind everything he did, though. when they were finally in the car - one of minki’s favorite places to be, he peered over, raising a brow in curiosity. “wanna kinda music mood you in, hm? i, myself, might have to vote country and rock out of the genre options, personally. i can’t say i’m feeling very yeehaw or... angry, at the moment.” // @svnmae

it’s apparently a very ezra thing to show up unannounced to places, especially if it concerns his friends and whatever spontaneous plans he can think up. said spontaneous plans for today are something very artistic, though he’s not quite sure what he can do. he’s not exactly a prodigy like some of his friends; if anything, he’s the complete opposite. but hey, if he can attempt to do something without looking like a total mess, that’s his goal accomplished. he spots mae coming out of the art building, tapping on their shoulder. “mae, hey! you’re just the person i’m looking for.” his grin would probably make them believe otherwise, but it’s a genuine one. “but only if i won’t be taking up too much of your time.”
