It all started when my mom met my dad, and they had me.

Ok, no. Not really. That's a few generations too late for where my family's issues started.

We all know about Queen Solaria, the Monster Carver. We're gonna talk about her daughter. Oh, sorry, other daughter. Eclipsa's younger sister, Nova. My great-great grandmother.

Nova fled Mewni after Eclipsa was trapped in that crystal. Nova's first daughter, Festivia, was named heir in place of Meteora. Nova came to Earth and used magic to freeze herself from aging while trying to find a solution to the issues back home. She eventually met a monster who'd ran to Earth from Mewni as well, and they had my great grandmother Costella Butterfly.

A few generations later and we get to me, Claire Nova Lincoln-Butterfly. I live with my parents, Samuel Lincoln and Calypso Butterfly, in Echo Creek. I'm a high school senior the year that Star begins attending.

Realizing that we share a last name, I bring her up to my parents. This is when mom finally explains our family history to me, and gives me my dimensional scissors that once belonged to Grandma Nova.

I start to hang out with Star and Marco, getting dragged into their adventures. Thankfully I manage to keep my ability to use magic a secret... For a little while at least. The issues REALLY start for me when I fall in love at first sight.

With a monster.

Yeah, that's me! A bit too much like Grandma Nova and Aunt Eclipsa for my own good. Star and I end up pretty close eventually. But not without some hiccups and scuffles due to our different views on monsters earlier on.

I'm too much of a sucker for friends-to-lovers. like, sure, I can enjoy all the other tropes, but a nice friendship becoming romantic overtime? love it... if done right. specially straight ones.

I don't like so much when it's forced (like starco, just the example from the top of my head), and it has to be very nicely done for me to enjoy a wlm friends-to-lovers (percabeth is the poster child for this imo). I usually end up reading wlw and mlm fanfics on the trope, though

(Gets asked if she watches it) (Lily gets mad that someone came to a reasonable conclusion that if she put a clip and mentioned said anime series lily must’ve watched it)

I will admit I wasn’t shocked but found it funny she used an anime and people asked “oh hey what did you think of it” and had to say “I haven’t seen it”

didn't LO also said that Jojo was the one of the very few "good anime" that never gets referenced by western shows in her SVTFE video?

of course that was wrong. i never saw Jojo either and even i know that is one of the most referenced animes across multiple media.

but now she finally admits she never saw Jojo... and therefore wouldn't know or care to know if something is a reference or not? she missed the Naruto reference in Moon Girl and Dinosaur Devil, so how would she know?

plus... it's sure a convenient excuse, isn't? she looks like an ignorant person either way, but if she can reference something without knowing nothing about it, is that supposed to excuse away too bringing out a game about raping underaged girls and another game about inspecting the bodies of underaged girls? she did that too, and never even tried to adress how racist and inappropiate it was.

Prompt #29 Crossover AU

Felix thought he knew everything about magic. Well, miraculous magic. With what Fu and Marinette had told him, books he read, and his own experience, it was only logical to assume he knew everything he could about the subject.

But that all changed when a blue portal cracked open in the classroom one morning.

A few of the students shrieked, others taking a step back. Felix and Marinette both tensed and he protectively put his arm out in front of her as they stood up. Alya already had her phone out, reciting her usual greeting to the blog. Was it another akuma? What would their powers be? Would he and Marinette have time to go transform?

Suddenly, a girl with long, blonde hair popped her head out of the portal, tentatively looking around. When her eyes landed on the class, they widened about twice their original size, and her lips spread into the biggest grin he’d ever seen- which was a challenge, since he was friends with Marinette.

“Star!” Another voice called out of nowhere, and the girl jerked, seeming to be tugged on from the other side. “That’s not the right portal!” 

“But Marco look!” The girl insisted before stepping out of the portal completely and dragging a teenaged brunette with her. 

“It’s just like our classroom! But different~” Her sky blue eyes sparkled as she said the last word, clasping her hands together in excitement.

The boy sighed and stuffed his hands into his jacket, a pair of chestnut brown eyes darting around the classroom now. None of them had moved yet, still frozen from the bewilderment of their arrival.

“Yes, yes, it’s like our classroom. Can we go? I’m ready to bounce at the lounge! I haven’t gotten my bouncing on in months!” 

“But Marco~” The blonde- apparently named “Star” -whined. 

The brunette- “Marco” -groaned, running his hand over his face.

“Fine. We look around. We leave. Deal?” 

Star only cheered, closing the portal behind them and grabbing Marco’s wrist to pull him over to Alya, who was still recording.

“Hey! Do you know what dimension this is? I wanna be able to come back later!”

“Uh- I- d-dimension?” The journalist stuttered, furrowing her eyebrows.

Star gasped. “Marco, It’s like your dimension! There’s no magic here either!” 

 “That’s not true.” Felix spoke before he could stop himself, his urge to correct over taking his cautiousness.

The two turned to him, and his hand pushed further against Marinette.

“Really? There’s magic here? What kind?!” Star asked eagerly, to his surprise.

He faltered, briefly glancing at Marinette before lowering his arm. “Well-” 

Felix hardly even got the word out when a large crash, shook the school. A cloud of dust arose in the city a few blocks away, and the class swiftly fell into another round of panic. Now, that was the sort of magic he was used to.

Despite their odd entrance, he assumed Star and Marco would be worried, nervous. That obviously was a miscalculation, as they looked at each other with a giddy smile.

“Monster!” They exclaimed in unison, before running out of the classroom.

Felix blinked, not sure what to think anymore. What did they mean by monster? 

He turned to Marinette, who looked mortified. 

“Let’s go!” She whispered hurriedly, scrambling out of the desk seat and running for the door. Felix followed, vaguely noticing Adrien wasn’t in his seat either. When did he leave the room?

Buclier and Ladybug landed on the rooftops closest to the akuma and leaned over to catch their breath. They came as fast as they could to ensure those two strangers wouldn’t try to fight the akuma on their own. 

“Ah. Ladybug and Buclier. Took you two long enough.” The akuma sneered, turning to aim their attack.

The heroes tensed, Buclier unhooking his shield and Ladybug swinging her yo-yo for cover.

Just before either party could strike, though, a familiar voice yelled at the akuma.

“Narwhal blast!” 

The two watched as a shimmering light pierced the sky, hitting the akuma straight in the chest and breaking the akumatized item immediately. Were those.. Actual narwhals lining the streets?

They turned, wide-eyed, to Star and Marco, who high fived. 

“That was fun, wasn’t? Can we go now?” Marco pleaded, pulling out a pair of scissors. What did he plan on doing with them?

Star sighed, brushing off her light blue dress. “Yeah, I guess we can, but you’re bringing me back here later.” 

“Woohoo! Bounce lounge!” The boy cheered, pumping his fists in the air. He then proceeded to somehow cut the air with his scissors, causing another portal- this time purple -to open up. They walked through without so much as a glance towards the heroes, and the portal closed again.

“.... What are we gonna tell Master Fu….?”

Marco has to stay really close to Tom or else he'll freeze to death.Marco really hates the cold since he's not use to it and gets really clingy to the person who's much warmer than him.

Summary: A Tomco where Star accidentally gives Marco hypothermia and calls upon Tom to keep him warm while she finds a cure.

Ok im all for starco but the way this happened seemed so forced I hate it and it makes me mad

Tom breaking upp w star was so abrupt they were doing so good everyone was forgiven and friends (except for marco which i understood since he was in love but he spent so much time moping and he had that thing w kelly i was so looking foreword to that they also SO ADBRUPTLY GAVE UP FOR SOME REASON?!?!?) and it wouldve been cool if for once tje main character didnt end up together like they do in every show. ("BuT tHeYrE ThE mAInChaRiCtErS ThAtS HoW iT wOrKs" ik ik but still)

It all just seems super forced and rushed too quick since it's the last season and if they were end game they probably should have broke them up sooner. Now im watching these last couple episodes and my once otp is now super cringe to me.

I want tom and star back.
