I wanted to draw pissed off Leon because why not. Also, here's two colour versions of it; a more saturated one and a mega saturated one.

My reaction after finishing Stuck in a Yandere Visual Novel, Help!

I have never struggled with a visual novel so much before. To give as minimal spoilers as possible, it involves yanderes and time loops. It's like Groundhog Day, plus isekai is involved, too. You play as someone who has been teleported into the body of the MC "Big Bro/Brother" neither his name or the isekai'd player's name is known. You have a sweet lil bro who is concerned about you and two unhinged male love interests. Leon and Vincent. Plus, a girl who isn't a love interest, she's also unhinged, but is not romanceable or anything rlly. It's a bl visual novel, but it has no smutty content you'd look for on Twitter if you get my drift. It does contain death scenarios, obviously, with it being a yandere novel.

The game doesn't exactly allow you to choose which character to romance like a typical playthough would. I was confused by this when I first began playing, I wanted to try out Leon's route, but what I got was unexpected. I was disappointed by this initially, and I felt like saying, "What is the point of it if I can't actually romance him?" However, I stuck with it, and I advise others to stick with it too because of how interesting the plot is! Plus, there is a VERY good reason why we can't romance either interest like a typical romance novel. The twists and turns it takes are nail-biting material. I found myself saying, "What!?" so much.

It's not the type of game you could finish in a day. It's a long one, and it requires some grinding to progress the story. Every time you die, the time loop resets, and you need to survive up until and after valentines in order to break out of the loop. You need to keep Leon and Vincent's affection points equal (idk how to see those points, but the creator has a guide to help us out on their site). You also need to be cautious not to raise suspicion. Otherwise, with too many suspicion points, you will get a...surprise if you manage to break out of the loop :) For those wondering, it is available to play on Pc and Mac. Make sure you download the right one. It is clear which is which. As for phone users, to my knowledge, this game is only available on Mac or Pc.

There are videos up on YouTube of playthroughs. I'll link EpyksLion's, as he completed the game and put it all together in a playlist. So you can view all the different endings and twists there instead of playing it yourself, if you like :) It might be useful to watch if you do decide to play the game and get stuck. That's how I found his playthrough, when I was losing my mind repeating death loops.

If you decide to play the game, make sure to download the latest version. As of 10/07/2024, that version would be Ver 3.1 Update (Bug Fix). I hope that anyone who decides to give it a go enjoys it! It's quite the roller coaster.

MC: calling “Hey, Vincent?”

Vincent: “What is it Honey?”

MC: “With the mysterious disappearances going on around my area, can I sleep at your place tonight?”

Vincent: “Of course! Anything to make your feel safer, I’m sorry you have to go through this, it must be scary.”

MC: “It is, I don’t know why now and here, the area has usually been safe for years.”

Vincent: “I’m sure that the police will solve whatever is going on, bring the criminal to justice, and everything will be back to normal before you know it!”

MC: “I hope so too, also, can I bring my little brother?”

Vincent: “Sure, I’ll let the servants prepare a separate room.”

MC: “Thanks, be there a 7!” Hangs up

Vincent does a little jump, excited to have his Honeypie come over to his place. He rushed over and demanded from the servants and maids to have the House ready for guests. He was so excited that he failed to catch his phone buzz a second time.

— 7:15 PM —

MC: “We’re here!”

Newt: “Sorry we’re late, Big Bro had to catch up on Homework.”

Vincent: “It’s fine, come on, I’ll show you to your rooms.”

Newt and MC looked around in awe at the interior of the giant mansion, making Vincent smirk a little in pride.

Newt got a room separate to his brother, while MC got a nice comfty double bed in the basement.

Vincent: “Make yourself comfortable.”

MC: “This whole bed, for us?!”

Vincent: “Of course!”

MC: “Thank you so much!” He said, hugging Vincent before getting ready for bed.

Vincent: “I’ll be back in a moment, I just got to get some things and talk to my Uncle.”

MC: “Alright!”

Hours passed, and MC found themselves fast asleep. Unlocking the door, Vincent crept in with his pajamas and slid into bed. However, he felt a disturbance, the mattress was carrying something too heavy.

Illuminating the bed with his phone flashlight, he saw his Honeybee snuggled with that damn Neanderthal

Vincent: (The fuck is this?! IN MY BED!!!)

Only then did Vincent finally see the text message from MC hours ago: “I’ll also be bringing Leon over as a guardian, but he’ll come later due to basketball practice. Make sure to have a bed ready for us!

Vincent: “………..”

Story Title: The Dream

“Vince wake up, the food’s going cold!” A familiar voice said, waking Vincent up from his nap.

It appeared that he had taken a nap on a red and white checkerboard picnic blanket. When he got up, he was greeted with the warm face of his lover eating a cucumber sandwich.

“Good morning Sunshine! Did you have a nice nap?”

“I did, sorry I fell asleep like that, and on our date too! How embarrassing…” Vincent said, rubbing his eyes.

“It’s alright, you’re here with me now, and that all I need.”

Vincent smiled as he picked up his cucumber sandwich and started eating. Looking around, the sun was shining brightly on a summer day, and the heat was a soothing warm. He saw two birds fly by together in the blue sky before looking back at his Honeybee.

“What? Is there something on my face?”

“Nothing darling, I’m just enjoying the view.”

His Honeybee blushed at that statement before they went back to eating.

Upon finishing his sandwich, he felt warmer and happier. “Wow, those were the best sandwiches I’ve ever had, not even money could buy those.” He said.

“It’s because they were missing the one thing only I could give… love.”

“Of course it’s filled with love, you’re the best chef in the world!”

They chucked again before Vincent hugged his sweetheart. They both laughed as they layed flat on the tablecloth looking at the clouds flying by.

“That one looks like a heart!” Vincent said, pointing at a cloud where a yellow butterfly hovered over.

“It does!” His darling said, before looking at Vincent. “Just like your eyes.”

Vincent gazed back, before being met with a quick kiss on the lips.

“Ha! Made you look!”

“How dare you!” Vincent said as he pulled his dear into a deep kiss. “If you’re gonna do that, then it should have been longer.” He whispered with a smirk.

They kissed again, this time pulling into a hug. He could feel their hearts beating against their chests, as if longing to touch each other.

“Mmm… I love you.”

“I love you two Honey.”

The two pulled away from each other, but their glazes never left. They both had each other. And that’s all they ever needed, not the other people who want to use or mistreat them, just each other. It was perfect.

“Isn’t it everything you’ve ever wanted?”

“It is Honey. It’s perfect, you’re perfect.” Vincent said, holding his Honeybee’s hands.

“Then wake up.”

“What?”

“I said wake up.”

“But I’m already…” the realization hit him, he was still asleep, and nothing had really happen. He started crying for the things he though was real, for the things he couldn’t have when he woke up.

“But… but I don’t wanna leave you, I don’t wanna go back.”

He cried again, but then he felt a hand on his shoulder.

“You won’t lose everything.”

“What?”

“Didn’t I tell you that I admire your strive to get what you desire?”

“You did… but, I love it here. And if I go back, I could lose this… I could lose you.”

“But you’ll never know that if you never try? What good is love if you don’t earn it?” He said, wiping his tears.

He stared at his lover, he was right, he wasn’t going to be loved if he just lied around doing nothing. He wiped his tears and stood up not only for him, but for what he wanted most.

Looking back at the sky, he took a breath and smiled. He loved it here, but he needed to be there for what was waiting for him.

He was ready to wake up.
