Totally agree with you on the Uhura post. You hit so many things I kept telling friends of mine. I especially think it's interesting that person probably read half of your post before responding as you clearly said you didn't hate her because of Spirk? And OMQ I prefer tos!Uhura, this must be because she stayed in the background and didn't kiss the male lead... Oh wait, she did actually do that, didn't she? Interesting...

*sigh* I just wish I can have a proper discussion about the posts I make about Nu!Uhura without having to have people jump down my throat. Having character discussions are important, especially when I'm already wary of 4 admittedly sexist white guys trying to write a black female character.

Write a post. Go to the menu that has all the options like 'publish now' and 'add to queue' and so on, and then select 'private'. Post the post. Go to tumblr.com/blog/your blog url, and you should see the post, along with a grey box that says 'Private'. To the left of the edit and delete buttons there's a button that says 'share'. Click that button and copy the URL it produces. Then link to that URL in your sidebar or wherever. Magical.
