I really loved this new AU I recently found on Tumblr! And with permission from doodle,

I decided to create the Jalec & Clock versions... soon. There will be a mini story involving the AU! (Non Canon) Meanwhile, the character designs and a little about them! And the Doodle AU, it's really cool and wonderful 🥺❤️

I’m seeing a lot of posts about how Ragatha is overly nice because she doesn’t want to be like her abusive mother.

But as someone who lived in an abusive him I raise you this- one person in an abusive family typically becomes the peacemaker. Making sure everything is happy and positive so the abuser isn’t set off. Anyone who complains is immediately met by the most cheerful “sunny side up” counter argument. Any issue is “oh it’s okay we can fix it really fast!”.

I feel like ragatha has both motivations. She’s overly nice because she refuses to be like her mother and she’s overly nice because she spent so long fearing the slightest bit of negativity would set off her abuser.
