Ren owes me 20 dollars 😔
I’m sorry if this has been asked before, I’ve not really been keeping up with updates (I want to go into the game as blind as I can 🤭) but are there any supernatural elements to the game? I know this kinda negates my last point, but it’s one of the things I DO wanna know before playing 😅
Also!!! I hope you’re taking care of yourself!! I’m a uni student too, so I know the Christmas period can be kinda tough
⌞♥⌝ Without giving away any spoilers... Yes, there will be a few supernatural elements in 14DWY! However, it's not really a focal point for the narrative, so I wouldn't have any high expectations or pick up the finished version of the game if that's your only incentive to play skgsk

Heeseung would see it as a challenge and force himself through it even though he's teetering on the edge of giving up.
“F–Fuck, Hee…” You cried out, your body jolting, exposed breasts moving up and down to your boyfriend’s hard and deep thrusts inside your dripping cunt.
You didn’t know exactly what to do with your hands as the overwhelming feeling grew in your lower stomach, indicating your second climax coming. Torn in between kneading your boobs and rubbing your own clit, you tried to give the best view to Heeseung.
But he wore an expression of intense focus, as if his sole purpose in life was to make you cum uncountable times. And to some extent, it was. His fingers were deep in your hips, holding you still as he just kept going, eyes focused on where you both encountered.
In and out. In and out. In and out.
Heeseung didn’t care about overstimulating you – or himself. No, definitely not. So when you announced you had your orgasm, he continued on thrusting hard, fast, deep, tirelessly hitting your g-spot with his sensitive tip, since he had already cummed two times as well.
“S’too much–” You mumbled, shaking your head, squirming under the pressure he held to keep you stay as possible. “Too– Much–Ah, fuck, Hee–”
“Take it.” He managed to say, voice hoarse, low, determined, though his body was starting to betray his primal will.
The slapping sounds flooded the room as a lascivious, beautiful symphony. Heeseung looked up to catch a glimpse of hooded eyes and fucked out expression. He smirked, feeling proud of himself for leading you to the edge of insanity.
Your nails scraped down his back when he leaned closer, slotting perfectly in between your legs that wrapped around his waist, leaving red trails as you clawed at him for any sort of grounding.
“Hee, I c-can’t–!” Your protest dissolved into a broken moan when his thumb found your overstimulated clit, circling it in unwavering motions.
Heeseung’s warm mouth found place on your hardened nipples, playing with them by swirling his tongue around it and sucking just slightly, his pace never lacking, giving you an overwhelming experience of stimulus; you felt Heeseung everywhere.
You winced, skin tingling in despair as you cried beneath him, a complete whining mess. You were loving each second, head spinning and your chest pounding strongly; your tongue quickly swept on the corner your lips to clean your light drooling and consequently tasted the salty taste of your tears.
Heeseung trailed his hot muscle up to kiss you, a hint of a victorious grin gracing his lips as he watched you lose yourself before him. His only objective was to tire you and win that fucking stupid inner challenge.
“You wanted it,” he groaned, close to your ear. You whimpered, feeling another wave of pleasure crossing you. “Fucking take it.”
Tumblr media
Jay would politely ask for a break ever once and a while, falling on the bed, panting, struggling to find words in between heavy breaths.
“Oh, fuck,” Jay grunted, his body trembling slightly, thighs burning after rolling his hips in an admirable constancy.
He had cummed one time already with you positioned in all fours, but he could feel his second orgasm just as close.
“Fuck, fuck, fuck–” he chanted, jaw clenching, his digits pressing your sides with a strength that got you clenching harder, knowing it would leave marks. You loved to be marked by Jay.
Under Jay’s sight, you looked extra gorgeous with your face down and ass up, rocking back and forth within each pound, moans getting lost in between the lewd slapping sounds. You could feel his balls smacking against your pussy, sending vibrations straight to your clit and a rush of delight towards your core.
“Jay!” You nearly screamed, but your voice got lost in the pillow you had buried your face.
Still, your mouth fell open, the tears in the corner of your closed eyes smearing your makeup and staining the pillowcase, your hands fisting the bed as you whined Jay’s name.
Soon after, you felt his warm liquid filling you up again, your own release mixing with it and making a mess.
Jay pumped a few more times to ride you in your high before dropping himself by your side, panting hard, body still weak due to the effort of pleasing you. He had his eyes fluttered close as he tried to regain his composure, air difficulty making its way down his burning lungs. He felt his throat dry and groaned when you turned his body upwards.
“Just… A sec… Please… Darling…” He said in between ragged breaths and you giggled, grabbing the bottle of water on the nightstand and handing it to him, watching his neck moving as he drank on it.
After he finished and you drank a bit yourself, you shot him a glance. He quivered, eyes widening a little.
“Want more,” you mumbled, straddling on the bed just to position yourself on top of him. “But don’t worry, I’ve got you,” and with a wink and a smirk mischievously dancing on your lips, you aligned Jay’s softened dick on your folds, starting to grind back and forth.
All he could do was to rest his hands on your hips and pray not to pass out.
Tumblr media
Jake would be so tired after the first round but he mastered the art of making you cum with his tongue and fingers a few times before fucking you.
The slurping sounds echoed through the room as lascivious as the wet noises of Jake’s fingers. He was switching in between fucking you with his tongue and with his slender digits, the same ones that would curl on the exact shape to hit your sensitive spot.
You had no idea of how much you have cummed, your cries entering Jake’s ears deliciously and traveling all the way down to his leaking cock.
He was so fucking turned on by your pretty sounds and your body searching for his own, searching for pleasure on his mouth and fingers. He could spend hours with his head buried between your legs; the pressure of your thighs against it was too good to dismiss, the sweet taste of your pussy melting on his palatar was addictive.
Jake loved how high your libido was, nearly matching his own. However, he would be extra tired after having his orgasm, so he just learned how to get yourself done until he finished fucking you deep and hard.
“God, Jake– Your fingers– So good–” You threw your head on the pillow as your back arched, your hips grinding on his face and hands shamelessly.
“Like my fingers, babe?” He asked within a grin, trying to ignore his aching dick screaming for some friction.
Jake didn’t want to rut on the mattress, because he had a job to do and it was to fill you up with his seed after eating you out for who knows how long. His hands were messy with your juice, just like the sheets beneath you two. He couldn’t care less.
To have you, screaming his name just with his fingers and tongue was satisfying at most for him to worry about bed clothing.
You nodded, lost into the blissful desire Jake provided so perfectly. You jolted forward when you felt his lips sucking on your clit, his fingers now far gone from your pulsing hole as he licked your folds, lapping his tongue with precision, nearly making out with your cunt.
“Cumming–” You whispered with a broken voice, just to scream after; the grip on Jake’s locks tightening, eliciting a moan from him.
He chuckled, drinking from your arousal just like it was his favorite drink.
“Give me one more and then I fuck you with my cock, yeah?”
Tumblr media
Sunghoon would match your energy. If you can go for a whole fucking night, so does he.
“Yeah, ride my fucking dick, baby,” Sunghoon moaned, brows furrowing with how warm and wet you were around him, swallowing every centimeter of his shaft.
You were on top of him, bouncing, riding, doing anything that gave you the euphoria of being fulfilled. Both emotionally and physically.
Sunghoon definitely loved you, and the biggest proof was when he started doing gym just to match your stamina in bed, now able to follow you throughout the whole night without tiring too much. He could do it just fine before, but he wanted to be sure he was giving you the best. Always.
“Fucking shit, so good,” he bit his lip, smirking, admiring the view of your boobs jumping as you tried new ways to pleasure yourself, his eyes wandering each curve of your body. You felt his dick throbbing inside you. “My baby is so good, feels so good,” he said in between moans as his hands gripped your hips to help you.
You decided to grind back and forth, the last two orgasms helping to ease the movements; your lips were parted chanting Sunghoon’s name like a beautiful, addictive mantra.
He could feel how you started to squeeze his dick in no time, his finger sliding towards your clit to give just enough of friction.
“I love your cock–” You slurred, drunk in Sunghoon’s scent getting all over you. The feeling of his hard length nearly destroying you inside was too good not to vocalize. “Love it so fucking much– So big, so deep– Mhm…” You sounded… delighted, as if you were experiencing the best sensation of your life – and you were.
Your exposed neck as you threw your head back invited Sunghoon's long fingers to wrap around it gently, just to give a light press that interrupted your airways to work properly for a few seconds. Your mind entered a haze of ecstasy, one that got you accelerating your riding almost instantly and seeking for your release as soon as possible.
The coil in your stomach tightened, and at some point you started to notice you could feel Sunghoon’s dick in there as well. One of your hands gave away the support you found on his chest just to press your belly, provoking Sunghoon’s hips to buck forward as he felt the slight pressure.
“F–Fuck,” he stammered, letting go from your neck and clit to hold you still on top of him, starting to thrust frantically. “Cum for me, angel– Cum with me.”
As if a command, your moans increased the volume, so did Sunghoon’s thrusts, until you came all over his body, your juices mixed with his seed coating his dick and part of his stomach.
He gave you nearly seconds to recompose, maneuvering your body to lay back on the bed. You both smirked, because you knew what was coming.
“We’re in for a long night, pretty.”

You and Sevika took a trip to the last drop, sitting by her side while she played a game of poker. Her mechanical arm was slung around your shoulders, and in her other hand, she held a few cards along with her cigarillo between her middle and pointer finger.
She had a good hand, chuckling to herself as the man across from her ultimately gave up, throwing his cards on the table. When she laughed, you could see the smoke waft out of her nose. You watched as she threw her own cards down, now bringing up her cigarillo to her lips to take a drag. She flicked some ash to the side and stubbed it out on a very worn ash tray.
The man who was obviously irritated cursed at Sevika, "I ain't givin' you no fuckin' money. Shit is rigged."
He crossed his arms almost like a child who got told off for staying up too late. Sevika groaned in displeasure at the mans words, "I am not in the mood for this."
"Neither am I lady!"
Sevikas lip twitched in annoyance before turning to you who was still tucked under her arm, "Why don't you go grab us a drink princess," She spoke to you, trying to lessen the frustration in her voice.
Her calloused hand rubbed at your knee before pulling her opposite arm away from your shoulders. You looked at her with concern in your eyes, and she motioned with a tilt of her head towards the bar. On that note, you got up, brushing swiftly past the man across from her to get to the bar counter across the room.
You could hear the mans booming voice yell something else at Sevika and the unmistakable sound of Sevika's mechanical arm hitting the table with a loud bang. The rest of their argument faded into the distance as you walked up to the bar. "Hey, can I get two whiskey sour's?" You hollered at the bartender.
He gave a nod of understanding before turning around to whip up your drinks. You didn't even bother to take out any coins, as you knew it was going on Sevika's tab.
A lanky but somewhat toned man sat down beside you. He was wearing a sleeveless vest paired with some black jeans. "You here all by yourself gorgeous?" He questioned in a sultry tone.
You shivered at his words. Usually, when people came up to you, they were less.. forward. Before you could respond, two drinks were slammed down on the table in front of you before the bartender walked away to tend to another customer.
"Aw, and you got a drink for me. How thoughtful," The mans rank breath hit your face, and you scowled when he picked up one of the drinks before taking a swig.
"No... I'm here with someone, sorry—" Your statement fell short as the man scooted his stool closer to yours.
He leaned into your face, the stench of alcohol invaded your nose. Cringing, you moved, upper back hitting the back of the stool. You could see his eyes inspecting the curves of your face, trailing down to your lips, then lower.
You put your hands on his shoulders in retaliation, "Please, im trying to get back to–"
His clammy hands gripped your legs, now smirking down at you. He trailed his fingertips up your thighs before you jumped up out of your seat, pushing him away from you.
He huffed as you stumbled back, almost tripping on the leg of your stool. You didn't say anything as you stepped away from him. When you turned to Sevikas table, you felt his hand on your wrist. Fuck. She wasn't sitting at the table anymore. A wave of panic washed over you. A small tear rolled down your face.
But before he could pull you backwards a large figure swiftly ran up beside you and a loud thwack was heard behind your head. The thwack of a fist colliding with flesh.
You squeezed your eyes shut, pulling your now free hand to your chest. Hearing a familiar mechanical whirr from your side, you opened your eyes to look at Sevika's large form towering over the man. The veins in her neck were popping, her jaw clenched. Her fist had connected straight into the mans jaw.
His body was slumped over the bar, knocking the two drinks over. His nose was busted and bleeding. Eyes widening in recognition he couldn't do anything in retaliation as she was basically pinning him to the bar.
The steel grey of her eyes were filled with anger, she delivered another punch to the mans face. Being careful of you, she grabbed him by the collar with her human hand and a long blade slid out from her prosthetic. "What the fuck is wrong with you," Her usually smoky voice was heavy.
The blade prodded at his neck.
A shrill cry came from the man as she dropped him onto the ground near your feet. She stomped on his back while he was down, shoe digging into his back. You could hear a bone crunch under Sevika's foot. You flinched at this but you moved forward to push her off of the man. "Sevika that's enough," You spoke, panicked.
She growled and whipped her head around to you, you could hear the blade slide back into her arm as she gently (kind of) grabbed your shoulder, "Are you okay?"
Her eyes softened at the tear streak on your face. When she stepped towards you, the clink of coins was heard from the pouch on her belt. She got the money. Before the situation could escalate further, you pulled her to the double doors of the bar. "Crazy bitch!" The man yelled, his voice strained from the pain.
You could feel the resistance when you pulled her out of the establishment. She didn't want to leave. Cool air hitting your face as you opened the door. You stepped to the side and turned to her.
"Should have let me kill him," She quipped.
You couldn't tell if that was a joke or not. "No, im okay," you said, looking down at your shoes.
She pulled your face up with two fingers so she could look at your face. Gently touching your face with her mechanical hand (the one she almost killed that creep with), she frowned. "I shouldn't have made you leave."
You could see the small beads of sweat dripping down her forehead and the veins in her arm. The swell of her bicep flexed whilst she held your face.
"No, it's okay. It's his fault, not yours," You attempted to calm the woman down.
She shook her head and pulled her hand away to sweep it through her hair, her bloodied knuckles contrasted on her skin. "Lets go home, ill make it up to you."
She slung her mechanical arm over your shoulder, the way she did at the bar. But her poncho that covered her arm draped around your shoulders, shielding you from the frosty air.
Leaning into her touch, you hummed, liking the sound of home.

A perfect, flawless, stunning, never-been-done before outfit wasted on a loser of a guy. Your makeup had taken an hour alone, your hair — well, you didn't even want to think about it because you were certain you were starting to break out in hives.
You steadied yourself against the brick wall, the uneven asphalt beneath your heels threatening to take you down as you fished your phone from the depths of your purse.
You dialed the first number you could think of — Hotch's. His was also the only one you had memorized. The battery icon flashed a warning of five percent as you hunched beneath the alleyway's awning, trying to shield yourself from the rain. You desperately hoped he'd pick up.
There was frankly no plan B if he didn't. Go back inside and ask you so-called date for a ride? That was not an option. The moment he pulled up in one of those big trucks, with its deafening music and roaring engine, you regretted not driving yourself. After all, you were well aware what men were compensating for with a big truck.
"Hotchner."
His voice was gruff, the sound slightly distorted by the speaker. You imagined he had just walked through his door, despite the time being eight o'clock on a Friday night. He was presumably preparing to pour his routine glass of scotch.
"Sir, it's me," you said, attempting to ignore the relentless raindrops assaulting your makeup — a battle they seemed intent on winning. Clearly, the concept of setting spray was foreign to them. "Can I ask you for a favor? If you say yes, I pinky promise I'll stop rearranging your desk. I know you have a system, but it just looks so bland sometimes."
"I'm going to overlook that desk comment," he stated, his sigh audible through the phone. You could picture the pensive frown that came with it. "What do you need?"
You drew your lips into a tight line, looking down to watch the rain mock the effort you had put into your outfit.
"Can you come pick me up? Pretty please with sugar on top?"
"Pick you up? From where? Are you okay?"
You shivered slightly, your free hand instinctively rubbing warmth into your arm. You should've brought a jacket. The thought of sharing this evening's failings with your boss did not sound appealing, so you avoided most of his questions.
"I'll text you the location, okay?"
"Okay, yes, I'll be there. Just stay put."
You thanked him and followed that by a double promise to stay put (he didn't believe you the first time). You also told him you'd wait inside, which was less than truthful. The thought of getting drenched was far more attractive than the prospect of bumping in that women-hating boy again.
You didn't have to wait long, thankfully, spotting Hotch's car turn into the alley, the headlights flaring up like spotlights against your face. You used a manicured hand to shield your eyes, narrowing them against the glare. The distinct sound of a door opening and closing signaled his arrival, and soon, Hotch was striding towards you.
"Christ, get in the car," Hotch insisted, more a command than a suggestion.
He was by your side in an instant, his arm on yours as he opened your door and helped you in. Then, unexpectedly, he reached over you to fasten the seatbelt. You giggled, his hand pausing just above your thigh.
"What?"
The rain gently streamed over his perfect skin, his hair now saturated and plastered to his brow, his blue dress shirt bearing the brunt of the downpour.
"You don't trust me to buckle my own seatbelt?"
"I don't trust you with a lot of things." Completely false. "For instance, your choice of men." Completely true.
He clicked the seatbelt into place and swung the door shut, cutting off any chance of a response, then moved around the car to the driver's side.
You couldn't help but pout, even as your eyes traced the line of his jaw. "How'd you know?"
Any trace of annoyance vanished as quickly as it came as he placed a hand behind you, giving you an even better view of his profile while he reversed the car. Your focus shifted to the ripple of muscles under his shirt.
"I'm trained to know when someone is in distress and you practically spelled it out. The restaurant, the clothes..." His voice tapered off, disguising his pause with a cough while his gaze flickered over your outfit, his cheeks tinged with a fleck of red. "I've got a spare sweatshirt in the back if you need it."
You traced his line of sight to your chest. Emitting a small squeak, you quickly shielded yourself with your arms, realizing that your white top had become completely see through.
"Totally not embarassing," you say, pursing your lips as you unbuckle your seatbelt.
"It's fine," Hotch insists, but you don't miss how his eyes are now careful not to drift from the road. "Put your seatbelt back on."
"I can't reach the sweatshirt."
You shift to face the back, knees planted on your seat as you lean over to grab just the thing you were looking for. In the rearview mirror you catch the brief moment his eyes do stray, discreetly (or so he thought) sweeping over your ass.
A self-satisfied smile crept across you face as you slid back into your seat, slipping on the sweatshirt. It smelled like him — an intoxicating blend of aged leather and pine. You liked it. A lot.
"So do you wanna talk about it?"
You really didn't. With a sigh, you dug through your purse for your lip gloss. Flipping down the passenger mirror, you froze, confronting your reflection.
"Hotch, didn't you think to mention my face is all... smudgy?"
Your mascara (and setting spray) had betrayed you, leaving dark trails down your cheeks and a slightly unhinged look.
"Your face is perfect," Hotch remarks dryly, like he was tired of you, he undoubtedly was. You were a handful after all. "Why are you avoiding my question?"
You let out a delighted gasp.
"Did you just say my face is perfect?" Leaning over the console, you tap his nose with your finger. "You're just the sweetest."
The look Hotch gives you is flat, expectant as if he knows just what you were trying to do.
"Okay, okay, fine, it was just a terrible date. Like, Hotch, I'm talking disaster-level bad. He made fun of my job, ate like a toddler, and his truck? He wouldn't shut up about it." Your hands are now shuffling through the contents of your purse in a panic. "And now, I can't find my keys."
"Your house keys?"
A breath of frustration flows from you, fingers pulling through your hair as you nod. "Dang it."
You felt a slight unraveling in your usual poise, and the panicking that came with it. Hotch's hand landed on your shoulder, his thumb grazing across your collarbone.
"Hey, it's fine. It's late, and you're upset. You can stay at my place tonight, I'll crash on the couch, and we'll find your keys in the morning."
He made everything seem so simple.
"I'm not upset," you insist, lips pursing as you angle your body just enough to feel his touch more fully.
His hands felt right on you.
He chuckled quietly, his thumb tracing a path from your shoulder to brush away the solitary tear beneath your eye that you hadn't noticed before.
"Must be a raindrop," you shrug. Hotch's soft laugh tells you he doesn't quite buy it. "Are you sure you don't mind me staying over?"
"I'm certain."
"Okay."
"So why did your date make fun of your job?"
"Because," you start, your fingertip lazily sketching doodles on the misted car window, "when I was telling him about being an assistant and working for you, he implied that the only reason you hired me was so you had something pretty to look at."
"Well, he's not entirely wrong."
You let out a surprised giggle. "Hotch!"
You reach over the console, pinching his arm which he just laughed off, pulling into what you assumed was his driveway. You had never been to his house. It was nice. Really nice, the kind you'd find in movies — not imposing, but inviting, with its brick walls and stout brown pillars framing the porch.
You were even more surprised when you entered the house. The image you had of Hotch's house one of meticulous order, a place where you could hear the tick of a clock from rooms away. But this... this was a home. There were throw blankets casually draped over the couch, books overflowing, armchairs worn in just the right places.
You lean down, intent on stripping off the torturous heels, but a wobble has you teetering. Hotch is quick to step in.
"Here," he offers, lifting each foot in turn to his knee, skillfully undoing the straps and easing them off you.
Standing flat-footed, you suddenly feel much shorter, and you wonder if Hotch has ever seen you without them.
You look up at him, smiling cheekily. "My very own prince charming."
He ignored you and moved through the living room. "Do you want a pair of sweatpants?"
"Sharing clothes now, are we? I bet there's a clause against this in the employee handbook."
Hotch raises an eyebrow, "I don't think I need to remind you of the numerous times I've overlooked your creative interpretations of the handbook rules."
"So you're admitting to showing me favoritism?"
You plucked the sweatpants from his hands, not giving him an option to respond as you shuttled yourself into his bathroom. You changed quickly, trading your sopping wet clothes for Hotch's dry, warm ones.
You reentered the living room to find Hotch reclining on the couch with an ease that was new to your eyes. He, too, had slipped into something more comfortable — sweats and a form fitting grey long sleeve that threatened to distract you completely.
You dropped your purse onto the coffee table and settled next to him, maybe a little closer than you should have.
He let out a sound that was more a breath than a laugh, a sound that all the same made your heart flutter unexpectedly. "You've still got some, uh, makeup under your eyes."
He reached up to wipe it away with his thumb.
"It won't come off that way," you said, grabbing his wrist with a soft smile. "I have makeup wipes in my purse."
But he didn't hand you your bag like you would've thought, instead he dug through it, pulling out the wipes and starting to dab at your face. The softness of his touch felt disarmingly intimate, so gentle it coaxed your eyes to flutter more slowly, eyelids becoming more heavy.
Your head tilted downward and Hotch used his free hand to tilt it back up. "Stay still, or I'm going to poke your eye out."
"You're making me sleepy," you murmur, your voice a soft, drowsy hum, but then he moved the wipe to your lips and suddenly you were anything but.
He was even more gentle with your lips, if that was possible, wiping away the gloss like you were made of glass.
Your eyes snapped open, and you found yourself gazing into his warm, brown-sugared eyes, your heart thundering in your chest. You could feel the warmth of his breath against your skin. How did you get so close? You weren't sure, but he was there, noses almost touching.
He pulled away the wipe, using his thumb to clean up left over gloss though you were sure there wasn't any. His hand paused there, resting on your lower lip like it was meant to be there. You felt every fiber of your being stand on high alert. You wondered what he was thinking.
Did he want to kiss you as much as you wanted to kiss him?
"Are you going to kiss me?" You asked, half-hopeful, half-daring, giving a microphone to your inner monologue.
He took a moment, eyes flickering from your lips to your eyes then back down again. "Yes."
It was certain. Like there was no doubt about it, but he didn't move.
"Okay, I'm ready," you breathed out, pulse roaring in your ears.
Hotch's laughter was a low and warm sound. You had heard it a lot tonight.
"You kill me," he said, and it wasn't patronizing — it was affectionate and genuine, and it made your whole body turn to mush.
Then his lips were on yours, and you were both laughing, the sound muffled by lips. It was tentative at first but it quickly morphed into something sweet and soft and perfect.
"Aren't you glad my date went terribly?" you mumbled into his soft skin.
"Devastatingly glad."
One thing was clear — Hotch was not going to end up sleeping on the couch tonight.

IN THE NIGHT | kang dae-ho
Tumblr media
pairing: kang dae-ho (player 388) x reader
summary: you find yourself drawn to dae-ho, and it’s becoming harder and harder to hide it, even from yourself; especially during the quiet nights when it’s just the two of you keeping guard.
warning: mutual doting, lovesick but stubborn reader, mention of squid game themes such a death and despair, other than that it’s just fluff, this is my first post so feel free to give me feedback if you’d like to read more, and now please enjoy 🥹💖

Dae-ho had a laugh that made your chest ache. Big, bright, and unrestrained, it echoed through the cold dormitory like sunlight breaking through cracks in a prison wall. It was absurd, really, how easily it pulled at the corners of your lips, how it made your heart feel too big for your ribcage.
He was an exception; you didn't know why, but he was. He was the opposite of death. Of fear. Of blood and betrayal. Quite the opposite of everything that reminded you of this hellish place. He didn't belong here. And you were confident, that even a blind person would see that for he was warmth and light, he radiated it, throughout each day you survived. You didn't know how he managed it, how he could smile, laugh, and joke even in the face of the horrors around you. It wasn't fake; you'd learned to recognize false optimism in this place, no, Dae-ho's joy was real, a stubborn defiance against the darkness threatening to swallow you all whole.
You sat across the room, waiting for the guards to let you out to the bathrooms once the other group returned. Your back rested against the wall as you watched him animatedly recount some ridiculous story from his military days to Jung-bae, with other players listening in. Mentally, you were already preparing for the night ahead, after all, you and Dae-ho were tasked with keeping watch together, a plan Gi-hun had devised in case any of the other players decided to attack. The group had agreed to take turns, so it was nothing out of the ordinary.
And yet, it was.
You and Dae-ho, all alone while the world slept? Why did the thought of that suddenly make you nervous?
Dae-ho's hands moved in exaggerated gestures, his grin wide enough to rival the cheshire cat's. Even in this pit of despair, his energy was magnetic, drawing people in like moths to a flame. And you weren't immune to it, no matter how much you tried to convince yourself otherwise.
His eyes caught yours mid-laugh, and for a split second, the world seemed to freeze. His smile softened, his gaze lingering on you just a little longer than it should have. Your stomach flipped, a sudden rush of butterflies that made you look away, feigning disinterest even as your pulse quickened.
You weren't used to this feeling, this fluttering in your chest, this heat that rose to your cheeks every time he said your name or brushed against you in passing. It was ridiculous. You weren't the kind of person who got swept up in someone else's orbit. You were guarded, careful, a fortress built from years of self-preservation. But Dae-ho... he was different. He didn't just knock on the gates, he scaled the walls with that infuriating smirk of his.
It wasn't just his smile or his laugh that drew you in. It was the way he saw people, not just as competitors or threats, but as humans. The way he helped were he could, even though it put himself at risk. The way he noticed when someone was on the verge of breaking and managed to say just the right thing to pull them back from the edge. The way he noticed you.
You hated how easily he could read you. You prided yourself on being unreadable, untouchable, but with Dae-ho, it was like he saw straight through every mask you wore. He never called you out on it, never pressed, but the way his gaze softened when you spoke or the way he offered you his rations without a word told you everything you needed to know.
It terrified you.
And yet, here you were, stealing glances like a lovesick teenager, your mind betraying you with thoughts of how his golden skin glowed under the dim lights, how his broad shoulders looked like they could carry the weight of the world, how his laugh felt like a secret you wanted to hoard, to keep for yourself.
He was the sunshine to your shadows, the golden retriever to your black cat. His warmth threatened to melt the ice you'd spent years cultivating around your heart, and you weren't sure if you wanted to stop him. But you'd never say any of this out loud. You barely allowed yourself to even think all of this. No, you weren't foolish enough to let yourself hope for something in a place like this.
Because no matter how sweet the what if's could be, your reality was cruel, always has been. So instead, you decided to watch him from afar, heart aching with the weight of unspoken words, as the seconds ticked closer to the night which would give way to the next day and the next game that might tear you apart.
Thirty minutes later, the dormitory was dim and quieter than usual, the faint hum of the fluorescent X and O on the ground and the transparent piggy bank full of blood-money above, the only sounds aside from the occasional snoring and shuffling of restless players. Most had fallen into an uneasy sleep, and here you were, being tasked with keeping watch.
You and Dae-ho were sitting across from each other near your group, shielded by spare mattresses. You sat on the cold metal floor, your back resting against a stack of unused bunk beds. Dae-ho was perched across from you, one leg bent, the other stretched out in front of him. His head was tilted back slightly, his eyes scanning the room, but the faintest hint of a smile tugged at his lips as though you weren't both surrounded by people who'd kill you without a second thought. You didn't know how he managed it, how he could find light in a place like this.
"You're staring," he said suddenly, his voice low but playful.
Your cheeks burned, and you looked away quickly, your arms crossing defensively over your chest. "I'm not."
He chuckled softly, the sound like a warm breeze cutting through the icy tension of the room. "Sure, you're not."
"Focus, Dae-ho," you muttered, trying to mask your embarrassment. "You're supposed to be watching for threats, not making jokes."
"I can multitask," he replied, his grin widening. "Besides, I'd argue you're more distracting than anyone sneaking around here."
You shot him a glare, but your heart fluttered at his words. "You're impossible."
"I've been called worse," he said, leaning back. His dark eyes softened as they met yours. "But you... you're something else."
You tried to ignore the way your pulse quickened, brushing his words off with a scoff. "Flattery isn't going to keep us alive, you know."
"No, but it's better than sitting in silence," he said. Then, after a pause, his voice turned quieter, more serious. "You don't talk much. Why is that?"
Your gaze flickered to him, surprised by the sudden change in his tone. "What's the point?" you asked after a moment. "It's not like anyone here is worth trusting."
He tilted his head, studying you. "Do you trust me?"
You hesitated, the weight of his question pressing down on you. The truth was, you didn't know. You wanted to, desperately, but trust was dangerous in a place like this.
"I don't know," you admitted finally. "Do you trust me?"
He didn't answer right away. Instead, he leaned forward slightly, his elbows resting on his knees. "I think I do," he said softly. "You've got this... thing about you. Like you're always a couple steps ahead of everyone else."
You raised an eyebrow. "That's a nice way of saying I'm paranoid."
"Smart," he corrected, his grin returning. "And I like smart."
You rolled your eyes, but you couldn't hide the small smile tugging at your lips. "You're ridiculous."
"And you're stubborn," he shot back, his tone light but affectionate. "But this just adds to the list of all the things I like about you. We make a good team, you know."
The words hung in the air, heavier than they should have been. You glanced away, your cheeks warming despite the chill of the room. "You shouldn't say things like that," you muttered, your voice quieter now.
"Why not?" he asked, his tone teasing but curious. "Does it make you uncomfortable?"
"No," you shock your head quickly, though the butterflies in your stomach betrayed you. "It's just... we don't know how this is going to end. It's better not to-" You stopped yourself, unsure of how to finish.
"Not to what?" he pressed, his voice softer now. "Care?"
You looked at him then, meeting his gaze. His dark eyes were steady, searching, but not pushing. It was so unlike the Dae-ho you were used to, the loud, laughing sunshine of the group. This version of him, quiet and sincere, was harder to guard against.
"It's dangerous," you finally said, barely above a whisper.
His lips quirked into a small smile, but there was no teasing this time. "Everything here is dangerous. Doesn't mean it's not worth it."
For a moment, you didn't know what to say. The silence stretched between you, but it wasn't uncomfortable. It felt... warm, somehow. Safe.
"Why do you do that?" you asked quietly, breaking the silence.
"Do what?" he asked, tilting his head.
"Act like everything's fine," you said, gesturing vaguely to the room around you. "Like we're not all fighting for our lives."
His smile faltered, just for a second. "Because someone has to," he admitted. "If we all give in to the fear, what's left? I can't control what happens tomorrow, but I can try to make today a little less awful. Even if it's just for a moment."
Your chest tightened at his words. He said it so casually, like it wasn't the most selfless thing you'd ever heard.
"You should get some rest," you said, focusing on the shadows dancing across the floor, your voice quieter now, "I'll take it from here."
"And leave you all alone? Not a chance," he decided, stretching his arms behind his head. "Besides, I'm enjoying the company."
You didn't reply, but your heart betrayed you, beating a little faster at his words. As the night stretched on, you sat together in the dim light. And for the first time in days, you felt a faint sense of calm, not because you believed things would be okay, but because, for now, you weren't alone. Neither of you said it aloud, the weight of unspoken feelings heavy between you, but for now, it was enough.

Luffy sits on the shore, his face blank. Too blank. The kind of emptiness that only comes after losing everything.
You know that feeling. It’s the same one you're feeling right now, that it's hard to breathe.
Tearing your gaze away, you turn toward the submarine where Law stands with his arms crossed, waiting. If you’re going to do this, you need to do it now.
Taking a deep breath, you step toward Luffy “Luffy.”
He doesn’t look up.
“I’m leaving.”
His fingers tighten around the bracelet, knuckles white “With them?” His voice is hoarse, raw.
You swallow hard “Yeah.”
Finally, he lifts his head, eyes bloodshot but focused on you “Why?”
You hesitate, because the real answer feels too heavy to say out loud. Because if I stay, I’ll break apart. Because the ache in your chest is unbearable, and you don’t know how to exist in this world without Ace in it.
Instead, you say, “I don’t have anywhere else to go... No one to go to.”
Luffy flinches, but you know he understands. He’s feeling it too.
His jaw tightens “You… you have me. You don’t have to go.”
You kneel in front of him, forcing a small smile “You have your crew, Luffy. They’re coming back to you. But me…” Your voice wavers, and you hate it “I need time.”
Luffy stares at you for a long moment before exhaling shakily “Ace really loved you, y’know.”
Your breath catches.
Luffy grips his hat and presses it to his forehead “So that means you’re like my sister-in-law,” he mumbles, voice thick with emotion “And I protect my family.”
Your vision blurs. You clench your fists to stop your hands from shaking.
“Luffy…”
He looks at you, his expression serious in a way you rarely see “You’re always gonna be my family. Don't forget it. You can come to me whenever you want and need to.”
The words nearly break you.
You force yourself to smile, even if it wobbles “Then you better take care of yourself, little brother.”
His lip trembles, but he nods “You too.”
You take a deep breath, memorizing the sight of him, before finally standing.
Law is waiting, watching silently as you step aboard. You don’t look back.
“That was dramatic” he mutters once you’re beside him.
You huff a weak laugh, hiding your tears “Shut up.”
He doesn’t push you for more, just nods toward the submarine’s entrance “Come on, Y/N-ya. We’re leaving.”
And with that, the Heart Pirates set sail, and you leave the past behind.
The Polar Tang is… different. Not in a bad way, just different. It’s quieter than the Moby Dick, smaller, and runs a lot smoother since it’s a submarine. The crew is nice enough, but they watch you carefully, like they’re waiting to see if you’ll actually stick around, and like they're afraid to say the wrong things.
You don’t blame them. You’re still trying to figure all that out yourself.
What you do know is that you’re not wearing that.
“Absolutely not,” you say, holding up the black and yellow jumpsuit like it personally offended you “There is no way I’m wearing this.”
Penguin grins “Aw, c’mon, it’s tradition! We all wear them.”
“Yeah, and you all look dumb.” You toss the uniform back at him.
Shachi snickers “She’s got a point.”
Bepo tilts his head “But it helps with unity!”
“I don’t care.” You cross your arms “I just lost my last family. I’m not replacing them by playing dress-up with you guys.”
There’s a heavy beat of silence. You didn’t mean to let that slip, but it’s too late now.
Penguin and Shachi exchange glances, suddenly looking unsure. Bepo’s ears lower slightly.
Before anyone can say anything, Law’s voice cuts through the air.
“She doesn’t have to wear it.”
You turn to see him leaning against the wall, arms crossed. His gaze flicks to the uniform in Penguin’s hands before settling back on you “As long as she follows orders, it doesn’t matter what she wears.”
You smirk, triumphant but still hiding the regrets of your previous words “See? Captain’s orders.”
Penguin groans “Man, you’re getting special treatment already?”
Law clicks his tongue “Tch. Don’t be stupid. She’s not getting special treatment.” He pushes off the wall and starts walking away “Now get back to work.”
The others grumble but scatter, leaving you standing there, still holding your ground.
Law pauses at the doorway, glancing at you over his shoulder “You really will be following orders, though.”
You roll your eyes “Yeah, yeah, Captain. You don't have to repeat it again.”
He watches you for a second longer before walking away.
You exhale, shoulders slumping. You still don’t know if this was the right choice. But for now, you’re here and that’s enough.
Days pass, then weeks. You settle into life on the Polar Tang, though settle might be a strong word. You’re still figuring out your place here, still deciding if this is home or just a temporary stop before the sea pulls you somewhere else.
The Heart Pirates warm up to you quickly, especially Penguin and Shachi, who have made it their mission to pester you at every opportunity. Bepo is a sweetheart, and you swear Ikkaku enjoys giving you extra work just to see if you’ll complain.
And then there’s Law.
Your relationship with him is… strange. He’s your captain now, and he makes sure you don’t forget it. He orders you around, assigns you tasks, and corrects you whenever you mess up. But he also lets you push back more than he probably should.
Like now.
“You’re not getting out of training, Y/N-ya,” Law says, arms crossed as he watches you from across the room “You’re part of this crew, which means you need to be able to hold your own.”
You sigh, sitting cross-legged on the floor, pointedly not moving “I can hold my own.”
“You haven’t fought once since you got here.”
“That’s not true. I threw a wrench at Shachi last week.”
“That doesn’t count.”
“It should.”
Law pinches the bridge of his nose “You’re impossible.”
“And you love it.” The words slip out before you can stop them, and for a second, Law freezes.
You don’t know why your heart starts beating faster. You don’t know why it suddenly feels like the room is too small, too quiet.
Then, he scoffs “Tch. Keep dreaming.”
You smirk, pushing yourself up “Fine, fine. I’ll train. But only because I choose to.”
Law rolls his eyes but doesn’t argue.
As you walk past him, you can feel his gaze lingering on you for just a second too long, and for some reason, that makes it just a little easier to breathe.
It's another day with them and dinner is as loud as always. Penguin and Shachi are arguing over who gets the last piece of meat, Bepo is calmly eating his food, and Ikkaku is scolding someone about their table manners. It’s chaotic, messy, and full of life.
You should feel comforted by it.
But then, Shachi laughs, almost losing another game “Doesn’t matter what happens, we’ll figure it out! That’s just how we are, right? We don’t let anyone mess with our family.”
It’s innocent. Just a casual statement made as a joke for a game. But your whole body freezes.
We don’t let anyone mess with our family.
The words slam into you like a punch to the gut. You’ve heard them before. Ace used to say them all the time.
“Nobody messes with my family and gets away with it!”
Your breath catches.
You see Ace in your mind so clearly, grinning, full of warmth and unwavering confidence. His arm draped over your shoulders, his voice always so sure.
“You’re stuck with me, you know. You’re family.”
The sound of laughter around you distorts. Your hands tremble against the table. Your chest tightens so hard it hurts.
Ace said those words all the time, and now he’s gone.
Your vision blurs.
You push your chair back so fast it screeches against the floor.
The room falls silent.
“Y/N-ya?” Law’s voice is cautious, but you can’t answer.
You stand abruptly, shoving away from the table as the weight in your chest becomes unbearable.
You hear Bepo call after you, but you’re already moving, already pushing out the door before anyone can stop you.
The hallway is quiet, but it doesn’t help. Your heart is pounding, your breathing uneven. The walls feel like they’re closing in.
You don’t know where you’re going, just away.
But then...
“Y/N-ya.”
Law.
His voice is calmer than it should be, given the fact that you just stormed out in the middle of dinner. You hear his footsteps behind you, steady and deliberate. He doesn’t rush, doesn’t demand you stop, but you do.
Because you don’t want to be alone.
You lean against the cool metal wall, staring at the ground, swallowing down the sobs threatening to escape.
Law steps beside you, close enough that his presence is solid, grounding. He doesn’t speak right away, just waits.
After a moment, you exhale shakily “Ace used to say that.” Your voice is hoarse “What Shachi said. About family. I know Shachi was joking, it's not his fault. My mind just started thinking too much, again.”
Law is silent, but you know he’s listening.
You blink rapidly, trying to keep the tears at bay “Ace always said it like nothing could ever touch us. Like as long as we had each other, we’d be okay.”
Your voice cracks.
“But we weren’t. We obviously aren’t.”
And then, suddenly, you can’t hold it in anymore.
The sob breaks free before you can stop it, and then another. Your shoulders shake as you clutch your arms, as if holding yourself together.
Then you feel warmth.
A hand on your back. Firm, steady. Not pushing, just there.
Law doesn’t say anything, but he doesn’t move away either. He lets you cry, lets you break, without judgment or expectation.
And when your knees nearly give out, he catches you, pulling you close, solid and steady, as if to say, I won’t let you fall. And for the first time since Marineford, you let yourself lean on someone else.
A few months passed…
Of course, things don’t magically get better. That’s not how grief works.
But they shift. Slowly. Subtly.
The crew doesn’t bring up that night you ran out of dinner crying, not directly. But you notice how they’re a little gentler now. Bepo always sits next to you. Penguin and Shachi tease you a bit less (but only a bit), and Ikkaku throws you extra portions without saying a word.
They don’t push. They don’t ask. But they see you.
And Law hasn’t changed. Not exactly. He still gives out orders like commands are oxygen, still gets that narrowed-eye look when you mess up during training, and still acts like emotions are an inconvenience.
But you catch him watching you sometimes. When he thinks you’re not looking.
And when you do catch him, he doesn’t look away.
It’s a calm evening, which is rare. The Polar Tang is surfacing for the night, drifting peacefully on the open sea. You’re up on the deck, sitting cross-legged and staring at the stars, enjoying the breeze on your face.
Law’s voice breaks the silence.
“Not hiding in your room tonight.”
You glance over your shoulder. He’s standing a few feet behind you, arms crossed, gaze unreadable.
“I like it up here,” you say, shrugging “it’s quiet. The stars help.”
Law walks over without asking and sits beside you, not close enough to touch, but closer than usual.
You blink “No book tonight?”
He smirks faintly “Even I get tired of reading medical journals.”
You hum and tilt your head back to the sky “Do you ever think about how small we are out here?”
Law doesn’t answer right away “All the time.”
Silence again, but it’s not uncomfortable.
You pick at a loose thread on your pants, then quietly say, “It still hurts.”
“I know.”
You turn to look at him “Do you think it ever goes away?”
Law’s eyes flick to yours, and for a second, his walls drop.
“No,” he says simply “But you get better at carrying it.”
You nod slowly. That makes sense.
You both sit there, the silence stretching, stars spinning above.
Then he speaks again, quiet and careful “You’ve changed.”
You snort “Thanks?”
“I didn’t say it was a bad thing.”
You glance at him, surprised.
He’s looking out at the ocean now “When you came aboard, I didn’t think you’d last a week.”
You raise an eyebrow “Wow. Inspiring confidence, Captain.”
He smirks again, but it fades fast “But you stayed. Even after everything.”
“Because of you” you say before you can stop yourself.
Law looks at you, startled.
You feel heat rush to your cheeks but hold his gaze “You saved Luffy. You didn’t have to. And then you let me on your ship. You didn’t have to do that either.”
His voice is low “I didn’t do it for thanks.”
“I know. That’s why it mattered.”
There’s a long pause. Something unspoken crackling in the air between you.
You look back at the sea, heart pounding, trying to ignore how much you want him to say something, anything that will explain what’s been growing between you.
He doesn’t. Not yet.
But he doesn’t move away either.
And when his shoulder brushes yours, just slightly, you don’t pull back.
Two years.
That’s how long it’s been since you joined the Heart Pirates.
And somewhere between near-death missions, long nights on the sea, and quiet moments you didn’t ask for. Something changed.
You and Law changed.
It’s not loud or obvious. Not something you could put into words if someone asked. But it’s there.
Like the way his eyes always flick to you when he walks into a room.
Like how you always end up sitting beside him at meals, even without meaning to.
Like how his voice softens slightly when he says your name.
He still scolds you during training. Still sighs like you’re impossible when you ignore protocol.
And when you’re injured? He’s the first one kneeling at your side. Every time. Without fail.
You don’t talk about it. He doesn’t either.
But it’s real. It’s there. And everyone else knows it.
“Okay, seriously,” Shachi whispers one night as he leans over the dining table toward Penguin, “did you see the way they looked at each other earlier? Like... looked. That was something.”
Penguin nods “They’re either in love or telepathically plotting a murder.”
“I’m going with both” Ikkaku mutters, sipping her tea.
Bepo sighs “We’re not supposed to bring it up.”
“Why not?” Shachi hisses “They’re so obvious, it’s painful.”
“Because of Ace” Bepo says softly “She’s been through a lot. We won’t pressure her.”
That shuts everyone up for a beat.
Until Shachi mumbles “Still feels like they’re circling each other in slow motion.”
Ikkaku stabs a dumpling with unnecessary aggression “Just kiss already. I’m begging.”
You catch them watching you sometimes, too many times to pretend it’s subtle.
Whenever you and Law share a look, the whole room seems to pause.
Whenever he lingers a second too long beside you, or his hand brushes yours, the crew’s collective poker face fails miserably.
But Law ignores it all. Just keeps moving forward, like it doesn’t affect him.
Like he doesn’t know that your heart skips every time he calls your name in that low, measured tone.
And you pretend not to notice either. Pretend your stomach doesn’t twist when he leans in too close. Pretend you don’t feel the shift every time your eyes meet.
But in the quiet moments, when it’s just you and him, you feel something hanging there between you. Like something is building.
The unspoken thing between you and Law has only grown heavier by time. Stolen glances, the rare soft tone in his voice when he says your name, the way your hand always finds the spot next to his at the table.
You’ve gotten used to reading him, how to tell when he’s irritated, when he’s tired, when he’s secretly impressed. But now, something’s off.
He’s quiet lately. More than usual. Locked in his quarters for hours at a time. Studying maps, muttering things you can’t hear. And when you ask, he brushes it off with a flat “It’s nothing you need to worry about.”
Which, of course, only makes you worry more.
One night, dinner is unusually tense.
Shachi and Penguin whisper from across the table, not even trying to hide it anymore.
“She’s gonna find out soon.”
“She already knows. Look at her face.”
“She knows something,” Bepo mutters “But she doesn’t know it’s Dressrosa.”
You set your spoon down “What’s Dressrosa?”
The table falls into silence.
Ikkaku winces “Damn it.”
You stare at them all “What’s happening?”
Nobody speaks.
So you stand, chair scraping behind you, and walk straight out of the mess hall.
You find Law in the control room, his face locked over a table full of charts. Dressrosa is circled in red.
He doesn’t flinch when you walk in.
You close the door behind you “You’re going there.”
He nods once “Yes.”
“You weren’t going to tell me.”
Law straightens up, but doesn’t meet your eyes “It’s not your concern.”
“It is my concern,” you snap “I’m your crew too, just like the rest of them.”
He finally looks at you “That’s exactly why you’re staying with them.”
There’s a long beat of silence. Just you and him, staring, and the space between you suddenly feels like a chasm.
“You’re doing it again” you say softly “Pulling away. Trying to protect everyone by shutting us out.”
Law’s expression flickers with guilt, regret and frustration.
“I’m handling it.”
“No, you’re running. You’re scared.”
“I’m not scared.”
“You're not scared...” You step closer, voice breaking “You’re terrified of letting people care about you. You think if you keep pushing us away, it won’t hurt when something happens.”
You lower your voice “But it will. It always does.”
He stares at you, like he’s waiting for you to stop.
You don’t.
“You think I don’t see what this is between us? You think I haven’t felt it for a long time now?”
He says nothing.
You take a breath “You’ve given me so much, Law. You gave me a second life after Ace. You gave me something to live for again.”
Your throat tightens “And now you’re just gonna disappear into some revenge mission and pretend like none of this matters?”
His eyes darken “It does matter.”
You blink “Then say it.”
Law opens his mouth, then closes it again.
You shake your head, heart cracking open “Forget it.”
You turn to leave.
But before you touch the door...
“I never wanted to hurt you,” he says behind you “That’s why I didn’t say anything.”
You stop. But you don’t look back.
You don’t sleep that night.
You lie in your bunk, staring at the ceiling, replaying every second of that conversation. The look in Law’s eyes. The silence where his answer should’ve been. The ache in your chest that’s only getting worse.
When you hear footsteps above deck a little before dawn, you know it’s him.
You throw on a jacket and follow without thinking.
He’s there, standing at the edge of the deck, the sea wind catching his coat. Alone.
He turns slightly when you approach “You should be asleep.”
“You should be explaining yourself.”
His mouth twitches. A ghost of a smile. Gone in an instant.
You cross your arms “You were really gonna leave without saying goodbye.”
Law looks ahead again, gaze fixed on the horizon “Goodbyes make it harder.”
You take a breath “Harder for who?”
Silence.
You step beside him, close enough that your shoulder brushes his arm “I meant what I said yesterday.”
“I know.”
“And?”
He exhales slowly “You shouldn’t love someone like me.”
Your heart lurches “You don’t get to decide that.”
“I’m not who you think I am.”
“I know who you are,” you snap “I’ve seen you save strangers without blinking. I’ve seen you risk your life for your crew. For Luffy. For me.”
You pause, voice low “I love all of that. And if you leave now, and something happens to you—”
You look at him fully now “Don’t make me lose someone else I love, Law. Not without even getting to hold onto you first.”
His jaw tightens. He says nothing.
So you laugh, bitter and soft “Of course. You don’t say anything you don’t think you deserve to feel.”
You start to turn away, tears building, when he says “I do.”
You freeze.
He’s looking at you now. Fully. No mask.
“I do feel it. All of it.”
He steps forward, slow and certain, until he’s close enough that you can see the storm in his eyes and hear the quiet panic in his breath.
“Every time you laugh. Every time you sit next to me without saying a word. Every time I catch myself looking at you and don’t know how to stop. I feel it.”
Your lips part, but you don’t speak. You can’t.
“I didn’t want to,” he says, voice barely above a whisper “But it happened. And now I don’t know how to leave without feeling like I’m leaving part of myself behind.”
Your throat burns.
“So don’t,” you whisper “Don’t leave like that. Not with nothing.”
He hesitates.
Then, he leans in slowly, unsure, and presses his forehead to yours.
Not a kiss. Not yet. But it says everything.
“I’ll come back,” he promises “And when I do… if you’re still here—”
“I will be.”
A breath passes between you. His hand brushes your cheek like he’s still convincing himself you’re real.
Then he pulls away.
“Stay safe” he says.
“You too, Law.”
And with one last glance, he disappears down the dock, coat billowing, heart heavy, and not just with revenge anymore.

The moment your feet hit the ground of Zou, you’re paralyzed. The chaos of the crew bustling around you, the excitement in the air, everything feels too loud. It’s all too much. You’ve been bracing for this moment for what feels like an eternity, but now that it’s here, you can’t breathe.
You’ve heard the whispers that he’s finally back, felt the crew’s excitement bubbling up like they’re about to burst. But nothing could prepare you for the reality of seeing him alive. You knew they won, you knew he was out there, somewhere, but seeing him in front of you again… it’s different.
Your heart races. The crew is already moving forward, pulling you along because you’re too shocked to even move on your own. They don’t even try to hide it, they want to see this happen.
And then there he is.
The crew appears from the bushes and trees around him.
Law stands tall at the center of the clearing, his eyes scanning the crew as they move toward him, his usual cold demeanor barely cracked by the soft, almost imperceptible smile on his lips as he sees Bepo charging toward him before he could even find you with his eyes. The sight of him makes everything inside you freeze.
It’s not that you didn’t know he was alive, but now, standing here, seeing him with your own eyes, it feels real.
Bepo throws himself at Law, tears in his eyes as he cries out, “Captain!” The hug is tight, emotional, the kind of reunion you would have imagined, one that speaks of the bond between them, of loyalty and friendship. Law’s arms stiffen at first but then soften, holding Bepo close, the smile on his face genuine if not a bit awkward.
You stand there, caught in the wave of emotions that’s rushing through you. Relief, yes, but something else too...fear. Fear of what this means. You haven’t let yourself think about it that much, but now, with him standing there before you, something shifts. It’s the first time in two years you feel your heart thundering like it did when you first met him, when you started noticing those little things about him, the quiet ways he showed his care.
But now… he’s here.
Bepo pulls back, laughing through his tears “I’m so glad you’re alive, Captain!”
Before Law can even respond, someone else, maybe Ikkaku, maybe Shachi, pulls Bepo away gently, guiding him back to the group.
And then Law finally sees you.
There’s a moment, a breath of time where you feel like the whole world is holding its breath. You didn’t expect the distance between you to feel so large. You didn’t expect to feel so small.
You stand still, unsure of what to do, your legs suddenly heavy, like they’re made of stone. You know the crew, everyone, is watching, but none of that matters right now. You’re looking at him, really seeing him for the first time in so long, and it feels like everything inside you is falling apart.
He hasn’t changed. He still has that same unreadable expression, but something about the way he looks at you now is different. His eyes linger, and in them, you see the same thing you’ve always seen, quiet intensity. But there’s a softness now, a faint warmth.
You don’t move.
You can’t move.
It’s not fear. It’s… shock. You thought you were ready. You thought you were prepared. But seeing him here, right in front of you, it’s more than you can process in a single moment. The flood of emotions, the relief, the joy, the terror, all rush through you all at once, and it feels overwhelming. You never realized how much you needed this, how much you’ve missed him, until now.
And then, slowly, Law begins to walk toward you, his movements steady, calculated, like he’s taking his time, giving you space. When he stops in front of you, there’s a long pause. His eyes are searching your face, studying you, like he’s waiting for something. You’re afraid to look into them, to let him see how much you’ve been holding back.
And then, softly, he speaks “I didn’t think you’d be here.”
Your breath catches in your throat, and you finally look up into his eyes. You open your mouth to respond, but no words come. The relief is too much. The pain of missing him, of not knowing if you’d ever see him again, it all comes crashing down, and before you can stop it, a tear slips down your cheek.
Law’s eyes flicker to it, and without a second thought, he reaches out, his hand gently brushing it away “You don’t have to hide it” he says, his voice low and careful.
“I—” You try to speak, but your voice cracks. You can’t say what you need to. It’s too much. Everything is too much.
Law stands there, his hand still lingering near your cheek, and you can feel the weight of the moment pressing down on both of you. He doesn’t push. He doesn’t rush. He just stands there, waiting for you to breathe, for you to find your voice.
And when you finally do, it’s quiet “I thought I lost you. I—I didn’t know if I could—”
“You didn’t lose me.” His words are simple, but they cut through the noise in your head. He steps closer, his hand sliding from your cheek to rest gently on your shoulder, the contact grounding you “I’m here. I told you I would be.”
And in that moment, you let yourself believe it.
You don’t know what’s going to happen from here, but for the first time in a long while, you feel like you’re not standing alone anymore. Law is here, and he’s not going anywhere.
Tumblr media
Zou is loud again.
After the quiet weight of seeing Law alive, after the press of his hand on your shoulder, after the whirlwind that followed, now everything is moving. New plans are forming. Straw Hats talking over each other. Heart Pirates buzzing about what’s next. Minks giving updates. It’s chaos. Familiar chaos. The kind you hadn’t realized you missed.
You find Luffy just outside one of the tree dwellings, scarfing down food like he hasn’t eaten in weeks, which, to be fair, is probably true.
“Luffy” you say, your voice unsure but soft.
He looks up, mouth full “Y/n!” He jumps to his feet and wraps you in the kind of hug only Luffy can give, tight, fast, and a little chaotic “You’re okay! You’re really here!”
You nod against his chest, your throat tight “You too…”
“Of course I am!” he grins like it’s the most obvious thing in the world “I knew we’d all meet again. I told you!”
He pulls back and beams at you “We’re gonna get Sanji back. Me, Nami, Chopper and Brook. You should come too! With me!”
You freeze.
Your eyes dart past the Straw Hats, past the Heart Pirates, until they land on him. Law is leaning near a shaded post, arms crossed, watching the scene from a distance. You can feel his eyes on you.
You start to answer Luffy, but someone else cuts in.
“She’s not going.”
It’s Law.
He’s walking toward you both now, slow and steady, like the decision was already made before this conversation even started.
Luffy blinks “Huh?”
Law stops beside you, his shoulder brushing lightly against yours “She’s staying with me. With the Heart Pirates.”
You look up at him, startled. You hadn’t even told him you would yet. But he’s not looking at you, he’s looking straight at Luffy.
Nami steps closer, eyebrows raised like she knows exactly what’s going on “Luffy, read the room…”
Luffy blinks again, slowly turning to you “Wait. What? Since when?”
You open your mouth, but the words don’t come.
“I—” You shake your head “I was going to tell you. I just… I didn’t know how.”
“Why not?” Luffy tilts his head, confused as ever “You like Law, right?”
Your eyes widen “Luffy…”
“It’s fine,” he says with a shrug “I mean, I get the way you’re looking at him right now. I just didn’t know it was, you know… like that like that.” He grins.
You stare at him, stunned “You’re not… mad?”
“Why would I be mad?” he says, blinking like the very idea is weird “You think Ace would be mad?”
You swallow hard, throat tightening at the mention of Ace’s name.
“I just...” Your voice cracks “I didn’t want to disappoint him. Or you. He… he loved me. And I loved him. And I didn’t think I’d ever be able to—”
“Y/n.”
Luffy’s voice is soft. Even softer than usual.
He smiles again, big and warm and bright “Ace would be happy. Really happy. Because you’re not alone anymore. He wouldn’t want you to be.”
You blink fast, trying to keep the tears back, but it’s no use “You really think so?”
“I know so,” Luffy says, tapping his chest “Because Ace told me you were the best thing that ever happened to him. He said if anything ever happened to him, I had to take care of you. You found someone who can take care of you even better than me, and I’ll always support you like my sister.”
That breaks something in you. You cover your mouth with your hand, trying not to cry outright.
Nami steps up beside Luffy, resting a hand on your back “He’s right, you know. We’ve all known for a while now. About you and Law. After we met Law and Luffy asked him about you, it was pretty obvious even if the man here has the most unreadable face. It’s just Luffy that is always too oblivious.”
Law, still at your side, hasn’t said a word. But his presence is steady, anchoring. His eyes stay on you.
Luffy grins and throws his arm over your shoulder, dragging you into another hug “I’m happy for you, Y/n. And Ace would be too.”
You press your face against his chest again, this time not hiding the tears “Thank you.”
Law leans in slightly, his voice low near your ear “You didn’t have to be scared.”
You glance up at him, smiling through your tears “I know. But it still scared me.”
“I get it,” he says “But you don’t have to worry. And you can talk to me about your fears, I won’t leave you alone.”
And somehow, for the first time, you believe it.
Tumblr media
The sun is dipping behind the massive trees of Zou, painting everything in golden light. The others are gone now, off to find Sanji. The moment they disappeared over the horizon, the world got quiet again.
Too quiet.
You sit at the edge of the overlook, watching the sky shift from orange to deep indigo. The wind brushes through your hair, soft and cool. You hug your knees to your chest, letting yourself breathe for what feels like the first time in days.
And then you hear his footsteps behind you.
“You’re always out, watching the sky when it gets dark” Law says, voice even.
You don’t look at him, not yet “It’s peaceful. Beautiful. Easier to think.”
He stands beside you for a second, silent, then sits down next to you with a small sigh. The space between you hums. Not touching, but not distant either.
You glance over. His hat’s off. That always does something to you. Makes him look realer. Softer. More… him.
“You really told Luffy I was staying with you” you say, a small smile tugging at your lips “Didn’t even bother ask me.”
“You were going to stay anyway” he replies, tilting his head toward you.
“I might’ve,” you murmur, teasing “Might’ve said no. Might’ve gone off on my own. Who knows.”
He looks at you, dead serious “You wouldn’t.”
You meet his eyes “How do you know?”
“Because you’ve looked at me the same way I look at you. You wouldn’t want to separate again.”
Your breath catches.
The silence after that is thick, like the air itself is holding its breath with you.
“I was scared,” you whisper “Of what it meant. Of what it felt like. After Ace… I didn’t think I was allowed to feel this way again.”
“I know,” Law says, just as quietly “That’s why I never pushed.”
You look down at your hands “But you stayed.”
His voice is steady “I wasn’t going to be another person you lost.”
That’s when your heart cracks, but in a good way. The dam you’ve been holding back breaks just a little. You turn to him, really look at him. The way the fading light touches his face, the faint worry in his brow, the way he’s looking at you like you’re everything.
“Say it,” you breathe “Just once.”
Law doesn’t hesitate “I love you.”
And you’re already leaning in by the time he says the last word.
The kiss is slow and gentle. His hand cups the side of your face, thumb brushing your cheek. Yours clutches his coat, grounding yourself.
It’s not desperate. It’s relieved.
When you finally pull back, your forehead rests against his, both of you a little breathless.
You whisper “I love you too.”
He smirks “You were worth the wait.”
Your smile widen and just as his small smile/smirk.
“FINALLY!”
You both flinch apart like you were struck by lightning.
Law whips around, eyes narrowing “What the hell—”
From behind a cluster of bushes near the edge of the clearing, three heads pop out in rapid succession: Shachi, Penguin, and Ikkaku. Bepo follows a second later, way too big to be hiding, but he tries anyway.
“We knew it!” Shachi shouts.
“I said it would happen today!” Penguin crows, fist-pumping like he just won a bet.
“I told you she was gonna make the first move” Ikkaku says smugly.
“You literally did not” Penguin says.
Bepo tries to look innocent “I was just... uh... making sure they were okay…”
You bury your face in your hands, heat flooding your cheeks “Oh my god!”
Law groans, dragging a hand down his face “How long were you there?”
“Long enough” Ikkaku grins.
“To hear everything” Shachi adds.
“I hate all of you” Law mutters.
“Don’t lie to us, Captain,” Penguin says, smug “You’re glowing.”
“I am not glowing.”
“You kind of are” Bepo mumbles.
You let out a breathy laugh, cheeks still flushed, but honestly, it’s kind of perfect. This dumb, messy, ridiculous crew, you didn’t know how badly you needed them until they showed up in your life. Until he showed up in your life.
“Alright,” Law snaps, pushing to his feet and brushing off his coat, “You saw what you wanted. Now go. Before I use Room.”
That gets them moving fast.
Shachi and Penguin scramble like cockroaches, dragging Bepo behind them while Ikkaku throws a wink over her shoulder “You’re cute together! Don’t screw it up!”
They disappear, giggling like kids.
You turn back to Law, trying not to laugh “So… that happened.”
He sighs, but there’s the faintest smile tugging at his lips “We’re never gonna hear the end of it.”
“Nope.”
A pause.
“…Still worth it?” you ask, teasing.
He glances at you. And then, softly “Always.”

You keep to yourself. You mind your business. It can be hard in the city where there's always a horn honking or a voice hollering. You know how to get by. How to get through.
Head down, feet moving, just don't stop. The rush of the city tunnels around you, you among the masses unnoticed, forgotten. The way you like it. It's better to be invisible.
The subway is crowded, as it always is. There's a busker playing their guitar out of tune at the other end, an argument across from you, and the ceaseless chatter of a man on his Bluetooth side-eyeing his neighbors. You keep your hands on your crossbody bag and stare at the floor. There's dirty and gum and something wet you don't want to wonder about.
Another stop comes, the rail squealing below, and another horde gets on as only a few bodies leave. The passenger next to you swaps for another. You make yourself smaller. One more stop.
The man smells like body odour and weed. You try not to make a face. You only tuck your chin down and take deliberate breaths.
His arm presses against yours. He leans in and you feel him looking you over. You clasp tightly to your bag and bite down. Is he eyeing you up to rob you? You lift your eyes a scan around quickly. Would anyone bother to stop him?
He startles you as he rubs his knuckle against your skirt. The plaid wool in shades of brown, tan, and a dusty pink. Your brown stockings perfect complement the piece. He continues to move his finger, slowly crawling to your hem. You shift and stand as your stop is called out by the automated voice. Thank god.
You rush over to join the rabble forming for escape. You don't dare look back. You're nearly crushed between the passengers and as good as carried out onto the platform. You get your footing and quickly spin in the right direction.
You pass through the turnstile and your bag catches on the bar. You turn back to untangle it. There's a man coming up. You recognise his tattered cuff. It's the same guy who say next to you. Is he following you?
You unhook the bag and twirl, hurrying away before you can get the answer. You try not to run, not wanting to antagonize him. Or draw any other unwanted attention. Your soles hit the pavement and slip on the first step. You grab onto the railing and take the stairs in a flurry of steps. You're breathless as you reach the top. A whistle comes behind you and a laugh.
"Hey, honey, why don't you wait up. That's a nice skirt," he calls after you in a grizzly voice.
Oh no! You can't stop, but you can't lead him to your work. That's a recipe for disaster. Never let them know where you live or where you frequent. That's what you read online. For all your efforts, it's never happened to you before. Maybe some wandering shadows in the dark steeped in paranoia, but never this.
Your throat burns dryly as your heart hammers. You pass by a couple, a man and woman in business attire. They're entirely blind to you. You give another woman a desperate look but she's tapping her Bluetooth and sighing. Please, someone help. The whistling continues.
"Kitty, kitty," the man taunts.
The smell of exhaust and street meat mingle in a sickening lure. You search around. You think of stopping at the new stand and signalling to the vendor for help. He's clutching a dollar bill and ranting at a customer. No help.
Why do you spend your time reading all those LetsNotMeet stories online? This is horrifying. No cops. The one day you need them and they're just not there.
A man steps up to the hot dog cart ahead of you and checks his watch. You notice the odd metallic glove he wears on only one hand. He might not be better than the one following you but you're out of options.
"Oh, hi," you as good as run into him. He grunts and looks down at you. "Sorry, I'm late," you stutter out the words and send him a wide-eyed pout. "You didn't order without me, did you?"
His brows furrow as you grasp onto his sleeve. You lower your voice as you stand on your toes, "please, pretend you know me."
The wobble in your throat nearly draws tears to the surface. His expression softens. He dips his chin subtly and brings his hand up behind you, ushering you closer to the hot dog cart.
"Two, Mikey," he holds up as many fingers. "Usual for me, and uh, what are you getting, doll?"
You glance over at the man as he stops by the news stand, squinting over at you as he fidgets endlessly. You turn your attention to the man behind the cart. "Um, just relish and... ketchup, thank you. Oh, and please."
The man beside you steps closer, "I see the guy, don't worry, doll. I got you."
You tremble, "I'm sorry. I didn't know what to do."
"All good," he presses his hand to your back as he keeps you close.
The vendor, Mikey, hands you your hot dog first. "You didn't say you were on the market, pal. My sister's looking." He kids.
"Ha, funny, Mikey." The man beside you says and takes his own order. "Come on, there's a bench."
He guides you further down the street to the bench near the pole. He sits first, then you do. He's calm as you're ready to combust.
"I'm so so sorry," you murmur. "I saw... I don't know."
"It's alright," he drawls and he pulls back the wrapper, "Bucky. You, doll?"
You look between him and the man who wanders closer to the hot dog cart. You swallow and look to your saviour. Well, so far. You give your name.
He nods and bites into his hot dog. You do the same if only to stave off the awkwardness. What were you thinking? You've gone and ruined his life too.
You wince as you sense the creep lurking nearer and nearer. Why won't he stop?
Bucky takes the napkin away from the bottom of the wrapper and wipes his mouth. He curls the wrapper over his hot dog and offers it to you. "Hold this for a sec, alright, doll?"
You take it in confusion. He stands and cracks his knuckles. That shiny glove isn't a glove. It's his hand.
As the creep get closer to the bin a few feet from the bench, Bucky grabs him by his jacket. He shakes him and snarls, lifting him to his toes. He growls but you can't make out his words. The man who followed you goes pale and wriggles. Bucky lets him go. The errant passenger staggers off, nearly stepping into the path of a taxi.
Bucky returns and sits down casually. He holds his hand out and you give him back his hot dog. You stare at your own.
"Thank you. You didn't... have to..."
"That guy was a really cretin." He shrugs. "Can't complain for buying a cute girl a dog."
"Oh, uh, yes, thanks. Again. That's... I have change."
You reach for your purse and he clucks, "don't go and do that. My mom didn't raise me like that."
"Uh, yes, sorry. I wasn't meaning to be... ungrateful."
"Don't gotta be sorry," he sits back.
You bite into your hot dog and silently chew. You were hungry before but it isn't bad. Especially for street meat. Your eyes fall to his hand. He wiggles his fingers.
"It's an upgrade, really," he extends his metal digits to show you.
"I... wasn't meaning to stare."
"It is what it is," he crumples up his wrapper. "Just gotta deal with people hounding me."
"Hounding you?" You tilt your head.
His cheek dimples, "you don't... don't know who I am?"
You think and shake your head. "Sorry, sir."
"Sir? Please," he waves you off. "It's fine."
"Bucky... that's your name." You remember what the vendor called him.
"Sure is," he replies.
"I never heard... no, I don't know," you push your lower lip out.
"Kinda refreshing," he drawls. "Well, doll, thanks for the lunch date," he stands and rolls his shoulders, "want me to walk you to wherever you're headed?"
"Oh, no, I can't ask for that. It's just a block down."
"I don't mind," he says.
You stand and nibble on the last of the bun. You swallow. "Please, I... I'm okay." You look down and up again, "thanks to you."
His mouth curves, just a little, "if.... you really feel like you owe me, which I'm not saying you do, but... maybe I could get your number."
You flutter your lashes. He's asking for your number. Wow. You don't think anyone's ever done that.
"Yeah uh," you press your hand full of bun to your purse and pull open the zipper. You slip out your phone and unlock it. You hold it out to him, "sorry, I can't... type."
"No problem, doll," he accepts it and keys in his number. "Bit of advice, though," he reaches to slide the cell back into your bag, "don't be handing this out to just anyone." He zips up the bag. "I could've been down the block by now."
You make and O with your lips, "oh, I'm..."
"Don't be sorry," he insists. "I'll call you."
"Sure."
"And you'll answer?"
"Of course," you make a face.
"Just wanna make sure," he says. "You have a good day. Oh, and the next time you got some creep on your heels, call me."
You nod and try to smile. You're still a bit shaky but you feel better. You think you can trust him. He saved you after all.
💘
The water spits at you and you back away from the stove. You adjust the dial as you squeak. That burner is crooked and the flames lick ravenously at the small pot. As you try to keep the fire under control, your phone buzzes. Usually there's a short vibe but this is incessant.
You scramble to grab it before the call times out. You tap answer before you can check the ID. You huff breathlessly, "hello?"
"Doll? Everything okay?" The familiar voice greets with concern. It takes a moment to click. It's been a few days since your run-in.
"Yeah, I'm... cooking dinner," you put him on speaker as you go back to the stove.
"Ah, I'm interrupting," he intones.
"It's... okay," you place the phone carefully against the toaster and let it stand. You grab the bag of noodles and pour them into the water. It splashes you and you cheep again.
"Doll?" He rasps.
"I'm fine. Just... clumsy," you affirm. You don't know what to say.
"How are you doing?" He asks. You're happy for his guidance.
"Okay. Tired. How about you?"
"Better now I'm talking to you. Sorry, I couldn't call sooner. I was out of town. Work." He explains.
"Oh, it's... it's fine. Everyone's busy."
He snorts softly, "you are too much, doll. Just too... too much."
"I am?" You wonder.
The line scuffs as he moves around, "you're not afraid of me, are ya?" He asks. "Did you look me up then?"
"Afraid? Uh, no. No, I didn't..." To be honest, you tried to forget running from that guy from the subway.
"No? Most girls... not that I know many, they do. Don't stick around long."
"Um, right, er, I didn't... look you up. I just... I've been working."
"Course, doll. I know. You're a good girl. It's why you found me. To keep the bad guys away," he cooes.
You stir the noodles with a wooden spoon. You stare at the phone, trying to unravel his words.
"So, I was thinking, tomorrow, Friday, you busy?"
"Not after five," you shrug.
"Perfect. I was thinking something fancy for the first date."
You're quiet as you scrunch up your brow. "Date?"
He laughs, "why'd you think I asked for your number?"
You sniff, "mm, I thought maybe you were being nice."
He thinks that's funny too as he chuckles once more.
"Oh, I can't wait to be nice to you, doll. And more," he purrs. "I'm sure you'll pick out something real special to wear too."
"I... I'll find something," you eke out as your heart flutters.
A date? You're really not prepared for that; just like that guy on the train.
"Don't worry, I'll take care of you, doll," he promises. "Just like I did before."

What would being the 2nd manager for teiko be like?
Tumblr media
Aomine
He likes to pretend he doesn’t care but literally only eats because you remind him
He hates when you scold him for missing practice, half because he hates seeing you upset and half because he thinks you're being annoying
Will literally lay his head on your lap and not move until you threaten to dump water on him
Gets weirdly smug when you scold him, like "Damn, you really care about me, huh?"
Tumblr media
Murasakibara
The big back gets REALLY pouty when you scold him for eating only junk food. Like so what if he eats junk food sometimes... (but it's like all the time)
Can't lie, his first instinct when he sees you is probably to demand food
He LOVES using you as a human pillow. He uses you as one 24/7, non stop and he hates when you move. He complains IF you move.
Tumblr media
Kise
Kise's constantly being like "Managerrrr~ notice me more!" even though you already do...
Will exaggerate a minor injury just to make you fuss over him. "Manager!! It hurts really really bad, please help," or something along the lines of that
Takes pictures of you when you're not looking and captions them "My personal angel 💖." (Bro's in his own world... let him be)
Gets genuinely sulky when he sees you doting on the others more than him
Tumblr media
Midorima
He subtly leaving lucky items for you despite saying he doesn't care about you
He likes to say he doesn’t need your help but then wordlessly hands you his water bottle before every game
If you forget to bring it? Disaster. Tragedy. Unacceptable. (Did he forget HIS lucky item)
Insists he doesn’t believe in luck when it comes to you but will still leave lucky items in your bag
Will literally shove you out of the way if something dangerous is falling nearby aaaand then act like it was no big deal
Tumblr media
Akashi
He acts like he’s above needing care but lowkey loves how soft you are with him, like keep being taking care of him even if he says to stop
You once made him go to bed early, and the next day he was like "Thank you. I feel reborn."
Gets this weirdly content expression whenever you take care of him, like "Ah, so this is what it feels like to be spoiled."
If anyone disrespects you? They no longer exist. Simple. Just don't ask where they went...
Tumblr media
Kuroko
He's mostly just silently being there for you the same way you’re there for them
Never asks for anything but appreciates everything you do
Will randomly appear at your side with your favorite drink like "You looked tired."
He’s always watching out for you in his own quiet way, making sure you don’t overwork yourself
If you ever seem upset, he’ll just sit beside you in silence until you feel better (ANGELLLLLL)
