• So when the boys find out that you,,, their mate,,, is obsessed with doing parkour, they’re equal parts excited and worried

• Marko is immediately all over it

• "Babe, babe let’s go on a date tonight we can find a nice roof to look at the stars ;)"

• Contrary to popular belief, Paul is not all over it

• He likes to say that he’s just worried for your safety - "What if we’re not there and you fall or something sweets?"

• And while he is partly worried for your safety - he just likes to deter you from ever asking him to go with you

• Now, before Paul turned, he had an extreme fear of heights - it wasn’t the usual feeling nauseous or sick, he would genuinely have a panic attack if he was even ten to fifteen feet off the ground

• Obviously over the years he’s worked on it and can now fly without the thought even beginning to cross his mind, but the thought of parkour?? For whatever reason the first time he tried to go with you the fear came crashing back in

• He prefers dates on the ground, but he will take you flying or cheer you on from below - jumping from building to building isn’t his thing tho

• Dwayne??? You’re lying to yourself if you think he hasn't done that one thing where you hang off the edge by your fingertips literally every time he’s gone with you

• Paul freaks out everytime he sees him do it

• Dwayne thinks your skill is frickin awesome, like his babe having that much strength, balance, and trust in themselves to make sure nothing goes wrong??? Totally hot in his book

• Him and Marko are total adrenaline junkies when it comes to stuff like that, you three have gone on dates that just consist of running and leaping across roof tops until y'all find a good place to chill and hangout

• It’s definitely not one of his absolute favorite things to do (He'd much rather spend his time terrorizing the boardwalk) but he won’t deny that it’s definitely a good rush for when he’s feeling risky

• One time the five of you decided to all go together one night because why not??? Group dates are a yes

• You were all just kinda fooling around when Paul accidentally looked down, lost his balance, and fell off the building

• He let out a really loud yelp and honestly probably would have just hit the ground if it weren’t for Marko

• He realized that halfway down and just kinda ~floated~ gently down to the ground

• He’s teased a lot about that moment

• Overtime you do convince Paul to go with you more often and he eventually becomes just as comfortable with it as flying

• Now he begs you and Marko to go with him all the time, and just like the other boys - now loves the rush of it

• Speaking of the curly blond, Marko is obsessed with just standing on the edge of the building and letting himself fall backwards just to scare the shit out of you

• You know he can fly, but it still freaks you out and makes you lightly scold him when he floats back up (He just giggles at you)

• Sometimes during dates with Dwayne, he'll bring his skateboard and ride it along the edge of a building just to see how close he can get without falling off

• You've definitely tried to copy him multiple times and he highkey freaks out each time

• After the third time, he just stops bringing the skateboard with him

• David, Mr. Not Soft At All, secretly loves when you set up a picnic on the top of a shop on the boardwalk just for the two of you to enjoy after climbing up there

• Overall, the boys totally think you’re badass and love watching you literally pull yourself up the ledges of roofs and jumping from one shop to another

• Although they worry for your safety sometimes, they’re glad to have someone that can keep up with their quickly paced life style and who isn’t afraid to get their heart beating a little quicker

• Plus it turns them on to watch you like holy shit you’re theirs??? Damn they hit a jackpot

• They will scold you if they find out you do it a lot when they’re not around

• How are they supposed to save you if you mess up or fall???

• You assure them that you’re skilled and mistakes rarely happen but they just want to be safe

My review...ish (tbh it's just some notes I made lmao) on Defending Jacob

I'm strictly focusing on the Barbers here, and their relationships. I'm saving all the comments I might have about any other characters, and the performances of all the actors for a final review of the series-if I decide to do one lmao. Also, this isn't completely spoiler free, I couldn't resist y'all I'm sorry 😅

It's also straight from my notes, long asf and unedited asf and I won't take offence if you don't read. I did however enjoy writing it 😁

(This is all in good fun and yes and I'm biased and no you're not getting my time of day if you attack me)

Okay I'm done let's get into it lol

The Barbers are picture perfect. That house belongs on the cover of Better Homes and Gardens and that kitchen belongs on a Food Network show. They eat sleep and breathe privilege, but they probably won't admit it, or are even aware of it. To them, it might seem normal, maybe they believe every family is like that, or at least, should be. Their lives mirror that of basically any white family on TV these days. They're the cookie cutter American household, a damn poster family. Which makes their situation all the more interesting.

I adore Andy and Laurie's marriage. Lowkey they make me feel like I'm third wheeling, with the way they handle each other 🤣🥺 but eventually something began to hang over their heads, and the atmosphere surrounding them only, completely changed. The differences became more clear and God knows where thats gonna take them. Andy hid the truth about his Dad being in jail for 17 years really makes us wonder what else he could be hiding, and tbh she may be wondering the same. If theres anything else below the surface it could ruin them even more, and that's scary.

Andy's relationship with Jacob is the perfect representation of a healthy father-son dynamic. Andy's not rough around the edges and tough with him. It's an unashamedly loving relationship, and something we need to see more of. Let's put aside everything that happened after Jacob was accused. Closed off as he might seem, it's so clear he admires his dad. And Andy is a man who would risk it all for his kid. It's as simple as seeing the way he looks at him. He can't imagine anything ever changing the way he feels about him. And he probably thinks Jacob will never give him a reason for that to happen. He says "I love you" to him without sounding like there's a knife to his throat, jokes around with him, calls him 'buddy' more than he does his actual name, overall it would seem like we're watching best buds with a big ass age gap rather than a father and son 🤣

But back to reality, even after his son is being accused of murder, and him and his wife don't seem to agree on where they stand, Andy believes Jacob. He just sees a scared kid. On the surface, at least, that seems like what Andy thinks about the situation. However, given how good a certain someone portraying Andy (which is very easy to forget, as said certain someone fucking transforms and i see very little traces of him in this peformance) is at conveying emotion without saying a word, Andy won't have to open his mouth for his true feelings to come about. But let's not forget, he went off the handle in a very hot way upon finding a knife in his kid's room. His kid who is a very heavy sleeper might i add lmfao. He also, felt it appropriate to bring up his imprisoned father, which I honestly feel like had to be on account of some of his true feelings, whether he'd admit it or not.

The moment shit hit the fan for the Barbers is moment, I'm sure, we all felt a shift. I said last night that my anxiety was high even before Jacob's accusation, but after, I felt like I was experiencing the Barbers panic and helplessness with them, almost as though I was the accused.

Which brings me to my next point. We need to talk about that scene. You know the one. Where Lynn informed Andy for a situation I'm sure he never, in a million years anticipated. The level of talent radiating out of a certain someone is unmatched. Y'all (who have seen the show) saw the way the emotions raced across his eyes-his entire damn face? The disbelief in his voice, the tense, defensive stance he fell into? The heavy breathing, the anxiety that fell over him, the way he raced home desperately? If there's anything this show did for me and I'm sure so many others, is making us feel like we were experiencing the severity in person. And that's so special to me.

I won't get too much into this, but the way Jacob was handled by the police...well let's just say we know that wont be the behavior with everyone. And it has very little to do with his age, btw 😅

The way he pleaded for his dad almost had me tearing up. Being a lawyer, he feels as though his dad will protect him and make this situation go away. And if I was a 14 year old boy who was arrested for such a brutal murder, a lawyer who just so happens to be the man that raised me would be my first request.

Idk how I feel about the whole murder gene thing. I did however love the way the scenes kept switching, from Jacob finding out about Andy's dad to Laurie finding out. Their reactions were so similar and relatable. However, if that gets brought up in court as "evidence", that person is going to, and deserves to, get called tf out 🤣

Andy was entirely too polite to that waitress who was, very rudely, staring at Jacob. Maybe it's my inner drama lover, but if she stood there like an idiot looking at my kid, another thank you isn't all she was getting. Avert your eyes or lose them sis 🤬

Seeing everything progressively fall apart for the Barbers, while Jacob remains quietly oblivious broke my heart. Laurie being sent home (and highkey being fired lbr), losing her best friend, and seeing her son be treated like a criminal. Andy being increasingly protective of Jacob's every move, is understandable. I'm super excited to see the lengths he'll go to when it comes to protecting his kid, which, if the trailer is any indication, may not have boundaries.

thinking about how in the Marvin’s Cage au or in any version of “Marvin’s the one who traps JJ in the box and then when they find out Jackie kicks Marvin out and brings Jameson home” Jackie would be SO SO over-protective and highkey loving and affirming and spoil Jameson so much because

this little guy has been through actual hell and he’s a nervous wreck who’s never been loved before, of course Jackie’s going to smother him in affection

2. Jackie’s little brother was the one who trapped him so Jackie feels like he has to make up for Marvin’s cruelty and also he blames himself for not seeing the signs and saving Jameson sooner

3. Jackie misses Marvin so much and compensates for it by putting all of that missing love onto Jameson

(and it’s a little unhealthy (okay maybe really unhealthy at times) because he’s projecting his memories of the relationship he and Marvin had when Marvin was young and innocent and loved him so much and he can’t help but see young Marvin in this new little brother. Jackie really wants to protect and foster him so he doesn’t lose that innocence like Marvin did, because just thinking about having to kick out another brother or realize that they’ve done something horrible is enough to make him break down)

okay and then i just wrote like a whole damn essay on Jackie’s anxiety and relationship with JJ after he has to kick Marvin out so i’m putting it under a cut hahaha

He starts giving Henrik and Chase a lot of extra affection too, like suddenly he’s treating them a lot less like they’re just friends and more like they’re his little brothers, and even like they’re much younger than they are. Henrik gets irritated because Jackie is bossier in his caretaking now, insisting that he go to bed earlier than four in the morning and threatening to carry him there if he doesn’t - but Jackie also sometimes just comes and sits with him while he’s working and Henrik understands that this is his way of trying to protect him and allows it because he wants to see Jackie heal. Chase doesn’t mind the extra attention at all, suddenly Jackie is taking time off superhero stuff to stay home and do fun things with him and he’ll even cuddle up with him on the couch a little while they watch movies and stuff! it’s pretty great, but Chase can tell sometimes that Jackie is only acting happy to try and make him happy, because they both miss Marvin a lot. but nobody in the house talks about Marvin. they haven’t even explained everything that happened to JJ.

Jackie just spoils the hell out of him. he brings JJ presents every couple nights, anything from cute socks he saw or a cool rock to hot chocolate and bigger presents from stores like clothes and art stuff. Henrik keeps warning him not to spoil him too much, because JJ is learning pretty well that he can get whatever he wants just by pouting a little and Henrik knows it’s not mature, but Jackie can’t help it!! he wants to give him whatever he needs!!

when Jameson has panic attacks or nightmares, Jackie can’t be removed from his side, or at the very least he’s standing outside his door guarding him. they’ve never seen him quite this worked up about protecting someone!! usually part of the reason Jackie is comforting during anxious or depressive episodes is because he’s so calm and sure, but now he gets upset and weepy whenever Jamie shows the smallest signs of distress, because he can’t stop thinking about Marvin being the one who did this to him. he’ll sit up with Jameson long into the night and tell him over and over again that he’s safe, that he loves him, that he’ll never let anything take him away again.

Jackie has like. a thousand pictures of Jameson just smiling on his phone. he cried the first time Jameson smiled at him (he was the first one of them he did smile at and nothing makes Jackie feel more like a good big brother than that)

he teases Chase and Henrik about being shitty at things lol (”YOU SUCK AT MARIO CART HA”) but with Jameson it’s all this “no no no you’re doing so good buddy!! here i’ll teach you how to fix this one little thing!!” and Chase and Henrik are just like. “jackie we hate u” but it’s pretty funny really

he trained Chase and Henrik to fight - at least the basics - within the first couple months of their creation, but he’s much more cautious with Jamie. Henrik and Chase have to be the ones to teach him the first couple lessons just to prove to Jackie that he can do it and he won’t break. and then? Jackie trains Jameson harder than he ever trained the others, trying to make him as strong as he can, as skilled as he can, trying to make sure Jameson will be able to protect himself even if something happens to him.

Chase and Henrik are watching all this a little nervously. Jackie adores Jameson, melts for Jameson, dotes on Jameson - it’s pretty damn cute, but it worries them a little, especially because, as Jameson matures, he starts to act more adult around them and then reverts back to “i am tiny and need love :333″ around Jackie

it’s when Jackie has a complete meltdown in Henrik’s arms about how he’s constantly, constantly terrified for his baby brother that they realize there’s like... a real big problem going on here. they call up their old family therapist (they haven’t been going since Marvin... left) and they start trying to work this stuff out. Jackie has Jameson under his arm the whole first session, trying not to cry because this place reminds him of Marvin, anxious to have his little brother in a new place, constantly assuring JJ everything’s going to be okay - projecting his own anxiety onto his little brother and telling himself he’s fine, it’s JJ who needs help, it’s JJ who’s been through trauma, not Jackie... Jameson lets Jackie hold him and pats his knee comfortingly. by the end of the session Jackie is thinking maybe Jamie understands him better than he understands himself, and he’s overwhelmingly grateful that his little brother is letting him do what he feels like he needs to do to help himself survive this grief

they have to push Jackie to even allow Jameson to progress as an adult because he’s just so terrified of anything happening to his baby brother. he’s like that mom watching her kid try to leave for the first day of school like “do you have everything you need??? recite my phone number back to me. don’t talk to strangers!! hold your brother’s hand when you cross the street! I already called the school to tell them all about your allergies and to ask the teacher to be nice to you!!! wait give me one more hug!!! i love you!!!!!!!!” and Jamie’s actually really excited to go to the movies for the first time but Jackie’s all stressed and upset. Henrik and Chase are pulling him away like “MOM WE’RE FINE” and Jackie’s waving them goodbye from the door and texting them every fifteen minutes for updates... lol he loves him

and once he gets on board with Jameson growing up and being more independent and adjusts to it, he takes him to all his favorite places and to do all his favorite things because he just wants to share every part of his life with Jameson and give him all the happiness he can

it takes Jackie a really long time to learn to show any weakness around Jameson because he doesn’t want him to feel unsafe, but Jameson is so supportive of him once he starts opening up to him. Jamie is always trying to return all the love he’s been given and he learns all the best ways to take care of all his brothers when they’re suffering. Jackie thinks the world of him for that and tells him he has a really good heart

in the end they mostly just have to let Jackie grieve Marvin (healthy grief takes about six months) and adjust to someone new in the house, and after that he mellows out about it, but Jameson is still his little buddy and he loves him so so much and spoils the hell out of him hahaha. it’s good for Jameson to be mother-henned a little bit for the first few months and improves his self-esteem, really. no matter how he’s feeling he almost always believes that Jackie, at least, loves him and will never betray or imprison him like that bad man in the mask did.

about a year after taking Jameson in to the house, Jackie and Jameson are best of friends and see each other as equals. they both look out for each other when they’re sad or in trouble and love each other so so much. Jackie still brings JJ presents a couple times a month, and now JJ gets them for him too, and there’s nothing that makes Jackie happier.

LAMP AU Where They’re in a Band

Okay just think about it

It’s Roman’s idea (of course). He gets the idea junior year of college and knows his friends Virgil, Patton, and Logan all like music too so he asks them to join

Virgil and Logan are hesitant, but Patton is super on board. Puppy eyes from Roman and Patton convince them

Roman is the only one who actually knows how to play an instrument (guitar), but he wants to be the lead singer so he helps teach Logan guitar. Patton learns the drums from his cousin (who also lets them practice in their garage) and Virgil self-teaches himself how to play bass

They’re pretty bad at first and they start out super small, just doing cover songs for fun. It’s actually super fun and they all look forward to it on days they practice

They end up writing some of their own songs later, headed by Roman and assisted by Logan after some convincing from Patton (it’s like poetry, but set to music!)

Patton walks in one day to see Virgil threatening his cousin. Apparently they secretly filmed one of their practices and put it on Facebook. All their families seemed to really enjoy their music, so Virgil lets it slide

He doesn’t let it slide as easily when he finds Roman setting up a video camera at their next practice. Roman decided they should start uploading their music to YouTube. Virgil doesn’t like it, but the others think it’s a good idea so Virgil hesitantly agrees

“We need a name for sure, now” Roman informs them. They’re all going for a walk and talking about the band. “What about-” Logan starts before Patton screams “LAMP!” and shoves Virgil out of the way as someone throws a lamp out of their window. They walk faster, Roman wheezing with laughter, Logan looking over Virgil for any damage, and Patton grinning sheepishly

They take that as destiny and name their band LAMP (in all caps)

They occasionally play at fundraisers and bars around their town, now that Virgil’s comfortable enough with others hearing him play. Everyone loves them.

Their audience, surprisingly, grows quite rapidly. Roman starts out as just the lead singer, but ends up doing some guitar too when Patton asks if he can sing with Roman for one song

After that, songs would vary between just Roman singing, Roman and Patton singing, and very rarely Virgil would shyly join in

Roman sets up a joint twitter for them once they hit 2,000 subscribers on their YouTube channel

“What’re your names, by the way?”, one of their very first fans asks on twitter. Virgil replies “Well, I’m just a big ball of Anxiety” -bassist

The fans start calling Virgil Anxiety. Roman decides this is a great idea and makes them all have codenames. Logan thinks it’s illogical? Boom, you’re Logic now. Patton makes a lot of group decisions based on what he thinks would be best for them? Boom, Morality. Roman does all the effects and most of the songwriting? Creativity bAby.

In their first video QnA Virgil snorts and jokingly calls Roman Princey after he starts listing all his favorite disney movies. The fans start calling him Princey after that instead of Creativity, though he doesn’t mind much

In the QnA they’re asked if they like anyone. Patton turns bright red and babbles, something about ‘they might feel the same…’. Virgil hunches down and grumbles “of course not”, despite his expression saying otherwise. Roman admits he’s always crushing on someone. Logan says nothing, expression blank

Eventually, during the summer after they all graduated college, they somehow get a record deal and weLP now their music is on the radio? Virgil totally doesn’t scream the first time he turns on the radio and hears his own voice

They end up deciding to move in together. They make more money than they expected off their music. Along with that, their YouTube channel had over 2 million subscribers now. They move into a pretty big house and that’s when Princey starts vlogging.

When he first starts it’s pretty bad, just like the band. Virgil and Logan feel like their privacy is being invaded, so they hide in their rooms, and Patton just waves excitedly whenever he sees the camera

Eventually Logan stops hiding in his room all day, and even later Virgil does too. Logan starts talking in the vlogs, Virgil mostly grunts and hides in his hoodie.

“Why doesn’t Logic ever sing?” they’re asking in one of their now bi-monthly QnAs. Logan looks away from the camera for the first time ever in a QnA and says “I do not like to sing.” Which is a complete lie. Patton sometimes will hear Logan singing in the shower. Recently he had been humming something Patton had never heard before, but it was beautiful. He would sometimes sit against the bathroom door and listen. Sometimes, Roman and Virgil would join him

Roman and Patton do a baking vlog one time. It’s a mess, but they don’t mind. They’re laughing and singing and every comment is saying stuff like ‘2 pure’ and ‘highkey ship them’

Patton knew he’d had a crush on Logan for a while, but after reading those comments starts to realize he likes Roman too??? And Virgil had always been his best friend and oh god could he like all of them??? Was that a thing he could do???

Roman has a similar crisis across the house as he screams into a pillow. Virgil walks in and awkwardly rubs his back in an attempt to comfort him, despite not knowing what was wrong. It was kind of nice. Virgil liked Roman a lot. He liked all of his friends a lot…Whoops time for him to go, he was turning bright red at the realization

The three of them are all dancing around each other after that. Not in videos obviously, but when Roman isn’t filming sometimes the silence gets tense. Roman starts to film more just to fill it.

They all like hanging out in town, but they’re starting to get recognized more. They can’t risk using their names when ordering coffee anymore (Logan still thinks this whole thing is stupid)

They go on their first tour and BOY ARE THEY TERRIFIED. It’s super weird having fans come to see them perform on stage. Patton keeps checking on Virgil to keep himself busy, Roman frantically types out possible lyrics for new songs, Logan tells Roman they don’t need to write songs right now that’s not a tour was for.

They almost cancel when Virgil has a panic attack right before their first show, but they soothe him enough and he assures them he wants to go on. They do, it goes fantastically.

During their tour, after their ‘last song’, Roman suddenly talks into the mic, saying they have one more song. Logan is confused and steps back as his friends play him happy birthday, and then an original song about him and…uh oh, feelings.

Logan almost cries as Patton gets up from where he’s sitting behind his drums and opens his arms. He launches himself into the hug and poor Patton, who’s mic is still on, says “Alright then, Logan?”

Roman is furious that their cover is blown, Patton is sheepish and just shrugs pathetically, Virgil tries to defend him, and Logan doesn’t give a shit

Roman ends up revealing his name next at a concert. Probably through some hilarious shenanigans

At another concert, they’re all signing autographs after the fact and a little girl tugs his pant leg and whispers. “Could I be as cool as you one day Mr. Morality, sir?” Patton smiles and ruffles her hair. “Of course you can kiddo! And call me Patton.”

Virgil’s name still hadn’t been revealed. A lot about him was a mystery to the fans. They loved it, and Virgil was slightly afraid that if they found out his name they wouldn’t have any reason to like him anymore.

Eventually, Virgil posts a solo vlog about his experiences with Anxiety for their channel and tell them his name. The video goes viral pretty much overnight.

After their tour, everything feels calm again. They’re all at home and not running around like crazy every morning. They need to work on their new album, but Roman’s got creative block, so they’re not really doing much.

All this pesky nothingness is bringing feelings up again. Roman gets back into vlogging daily, as he couldn’t do as much filming while on tour. Virgil is a lot more open after his personal vlog and talks more when Roman films

One day, Roman, Patton, and Virgil wake up and check Twitter to see a bunch of people @ing them both on their joint account and their personal accounts

Apparently Logan had uploaded a video the night before and deleted it, but it had been too late. People had downloaded it and were sending it to everyone

In it Logan sang. He sang a love song, one he’d written. Patton recognized it as the song Logan had been humming in the shower for months now.

Fans start theorizing about who Logan meant in the song. Ship wars break out, it’s madness.

The vlogging goes dead for about a week before they’re back on. All four seem a lot more cheerful than usual. Apparently something happened that helped Roman out of his creative block and their new album would be out soon

When it came out, listeners were shocked to find that they were all love songs???? With duets from Roman and Patton, ones where all four (yes, even Logan) sang, and solos from every single one of them

Audiences were split on what this could possibly mean. Were they singing to each other? If so, who was together with who?

They end up going on tour again before their fans are given answers. It’s Roman’s birthday and they all sing an original song again before Patton walks up to him, smiling softly. “Thanks to you…we get to have all this. Thank you” and he kisses him

Fans are screaming in joy and shock…then Virgil walks over and kisses Roman too, and Logan does as well. Everyone is confused

Roman faces the audience and screams “THAT’S RIGHT! WE’RE ALL DATING EACH OTHER!” then grabs Virgil and Logan (who’re the closest) and slings them over his shoulders before dashing off stage. Patton laughs and runs after him

It’s big news. They’re the first really popular band that happens to be in a poly relationship. The interviews are a little awkward, but they’re all too in love to care

They still do some other songs, but now most of their music are love songs dedicated to each other. Fans tend to love the ones where they all sing together the most. Their voices all fit together perfectly, just like the members themselves.

tl;dr: They boys start a band and start dating so they sing cute love songs with each other about each other and it’s good and wholesome

being a school president isn’t the toughest thing to do for you to be honest but keeping the image of being serious and cold school president is the toughest thing to do

and no, it’s not like you’re faking being serious and cold. it’s just that at times like that, you have to be strict to your schoolmates

and people actually are afraid of you and you got used to this but you never took advantage of it though

you had no intention to make people become more scared of you and it’s usually their choice whether they want to be scared of you or not

and one of those people is kang daniel

it didn’t take that long for you to notice him, with his shaky eyes and sudden silent from talking with his friends, right after he saw you at the hallway

he would just quickly bid goodbye to his friends and it was like as if it’s a cue for his friends to understand that you were present at the place

honestly sometimes you do find this entertaining to witness

especially when daniel seems to be one of the bravest students in the school but he really isn’t

because you knew how daniel actually is, when you bumped into him one day on school hours and he had like multiple disciplinary faults

he would be at the hallways, with his shirt unbuttoned messily and his bag that could possibly be invisible because he would always carry nothing to class

and he would escapes the class quietly but you would always find him out by checking the classrooms hallway whenever you have a free time in school hours

and daniel would always try to plead you to not tell the teachers and you gave him a disapproval shake of your head and he was like

“i’ll treat you food, i swear, i didn’t mean to escape the class today--”

“you escape every single day, daniel”

“well, today is the last one, for real!”

you rolled your eyes and daniel just pleaded more and you sighed because no matter how cold you were, you didn’t want anyone to hate you

so you let him go but you gave the last warning and he just nodded off before leaving you alone at the hallway

daniel never did escape again after that incident because he highkey don’t want to get suspended and he gets scared whenever he sees you because you might report him to the teachers

so whenever he sees you, he just runs away like even when he did nothing wrong

it’s after school hours when daniel finally leave the school after doing some classroom duties

and it’s super late, like there’s possibly no one in school at this hour

anyway he’s just casually walking to the front entrance when he spots you in front with books on your arms

and he’s about to run away again but then he realizes it’s after school hours so he didn’t bother

so he’s like walking behind you and you have no clue at all because you’re so annoyed with the amount of books you have to carry

and then you suddenly trip on something and you honestly am so done with yourself because this is like the nth time that had happened to you

your books fell and you’re cursing to yourself right there, lightly hitting your head and you try to pick the books up

but your heavy bag just pull you down and you forcefully had to sit on the ground and you just crack up because it’s so dumb that you’re THAT weak

and you haven’t notice that all this time daniel is just silently witnessing you and he actually has a smile on his lips like he finds you really adorable

and it’s the first time he sees you smiling and it sends him some fluttering feeling in him and he likes it....

so he just continues to look at you, even though he actually want to help you out but he wants to see how you actually are

and you, still being dense over the present of daniel, sits on the ground before taking your phone and earpiece to play music and you’re just grinning over the song you’re playing

you finally stands up after shoving your phone into your pocket and picking up your books

and you just continue walking but a little rhythmic because of your music and you just basically dancing while walking

daniel, who is still at back, look so amused because that right there is a rare sight 

and he softly laughs when he sees you dancing randomly and it’s pretty cute to daniel 

his heart opens a place where he has a soft spot for you now and it’s pretty weird for him to do that immediately but somehow it feels right to him

like he’s just watching you and he really loves it that someone like you could be like that

and you’re just dancing around, thinking that no one is there, but then you’re making a spin and you see daniel and you’re like

“oh my god”

and you panic because how long has he been seeing you doing dumb stuff

and you try to bring back your cold image onto your face but you’re too embarrassed already so you’re trying to calm yourself down by removing your earpiece

but your books are a lot and you’re cursing at yourself again as you struggle to remove your earpiece

and daniel moves closer to you which you don’t realized at all and you flinch so hard when your earpiece got removed

your eyes widen in shock because daniel is so damn near to you, his hand is holding onto your earpiece and you’re can’t help but to blush

“why are you here?” you manage to ask him, with your eyes avoiding to look at his face

daniel chuckles, “you looked like you needed help so here i am”

“i didn’t need any help”

daniel smiles, and he casually holds your chin to make you look at him and he swears he finds your eyes mesmerizing all of the sudden and it’s his turn to become fluster over his own action

while you’re trying to want to push him away but you feel your whole body becoming weak with daniel’s touch

“can you please move away?” you close your eyes, and the touch is gone from you 

“sorry” daniel says as he rubs his neck, looking apologetically

you open your eyes and shake your head, smiling a little

“it’s okay”

daniel smiles back at you, and you both realized it’s gotten awkward and you forgot that you’re supposed to get mad at daniel

but daniel look so handsome in your eyes right now and you finally understand why people have a crush on him

and you just couldn’t get mad at him so you just start to walk away from him 

and daniel gets alerted that you’re leaving him and he catches up with you

“where are you going?”

“home. where else do i go to, daniel?”

“....right”

“just keep whatever you saw just now to yourself and i won’t say anything about you escaping classes to the teachers”

“why don’t you just be like that in school?”

and that makes you halt and daniel looks at you curiously before he hears you sigh

“a school president needs to be tough and strict, daniel. i can’t just go around and be funny”

“you can be a funny school president, because you are funny”

you’re just staring at daniel now, and he’s smiling because it’s a true fact

“okay no, i won’t be a funny school president, okay. nor will i be a silly school president”

daniel’s smile drops, but gains back on his face as he suddenly put his arm around your shoulder

and you’re very much bothered but he’s just pulling you closer to him and you get shy and you just want to curse at him

but he goes all happy looking and you’re in awe at how good looking he is

and then he looks at you and you get a mini heart attack from it before you look away, acting like you’re irritated

“why not you just become the dorky and funny you when i’m with you? wouldn’t that be fun?”

“why would that be fun, daniel? besides why would i even want to be around you?”

“because i’m actually starting to like you”

“wow. it’s great to hear that at least one of my schoolmates likes me, and not hate me”

you laugh over your own statement because it’s funny but then you see daniel being serious

“what”

“i meant... i like you as more than friends type of way”

“we’re friends?”

“...y/n”

“okay sorry, i was just joking around.... but you’re joking too, right?”

you look at daniel and he suddenly kiss your cheek and you’re like !!!!

“stop being adorably funny, y/n”

“adorably....adorable?” you mumble, as your cheeks turn red

daniel takes advantage of your state, bringing you closer and he’s like

“you know, i never done this to other people before....or even liking someone this instant... especially when you used to scared the hell out of me”

“but daniel-- i don’t like you”

“you don’t?”

“..... okay, maybe i do. besides, why did you think i always let you off whenever you try to escape class?”

and let’s just say you got yourself another kiss on the cheek
