Tally Hall fans are so fucking annoying (no one on tumblr, most people on tumblr who like tally hall are pretty cool), dont get me wrong, I love tally hall, but like whenever I meet a tally hall fan i have to literally GATEKEEP. I've liked things like sElf, surf curse, lemon demon, will wood, dazey and the scouts, bo en, etc. etc. for longer than I can remember, even before tally hall (and newer artists like femtanyl and yaelokre) which ive liked for a large chunk of my life (i even was one of those annoying fans in like '22 and '23) and the people who liked those artists back when they were my favorite were actually pretty chill UNTIL tally hall fans started "liking" them. Like, they're even starting to "like" nirvana and weezer who arent even indie..!!! its like i cant even like music anymore without a stupid fucking tally hall fan appearing- (no hate to anyone if they also like these artists!!! its fine as long as you arent annoying like this) like once they find out about 1 artist they make it their "hyperfixation11!11!1" and then act like theyre the biggest fan ever SYBAU BRO.. and another thing FUCKING CANCEL CULTURE. i actually cannot with cancel culture, almost every tally hall fan (ALMOST. ALMOST!!!!) fw cancel culture and it makes me insane. "ok so joe hawley ate a popsicle wrong lets cancel him immediately" SHUT UP. SHUT UP.. and then they start replacing him with bora GUYS!! if it werent for joe, your beloved tally hall wouldnt have existed in the first place. ITS SUCH AN IMMATURE THING TO DO.. do you see people getting rid of matt sharp? No! he actually did something wrong, joe's actions were alleged for the most part and couldn't be proven. Brian Bell's actions were alleged but you dont see people going around and replacing him with rivers cuomo. does anything that anyone does in their own personal life affect you? no, it doesn't, so just grow up and stop trying to make dehumanization and replacement a "quirky" thing. And for the love of god, please stop going to the most random shit ever and being like "TALLY HALL REFERENCE?!??!?!/1/1?!/1//1/1/!?!" SHUT UP!!! okay, if its actually funny and makes sense (like this vv)

THEN its fine. but if its like the most random thing ever. "OMG!!! THIS BED LOOKS SO WEIRD!!! JOE HAWLEY REFERENCE??!?! AND ITS GREY??!! ROSS FEDERMAN REFERENCE??!!!" its so annoying. I can tell so many people are getting extremely annoyed having their comment sections filled with "OMG TALLY HALL REFERENCE" and honestly, just reading it is annoying to, so just stop, we get it <333
