Two comments I just saw about the amazing IC piece by Tangerine.Eileen

“In the bonus chapter when he’s talking to Gwen. And maybe when Elain gave him a solstice gift.”

Az has been shooting smiles at Elain since the day they met.

Ch 24: “A faint smile bloomed upon Azriel’s mouth as he noticed Elain’s fingers white-knuckled on that fork, but he kept silent, focusing instead, as Cassian was subtly trying to do, on adjusting his wings around a human chair.”

Ch 24: “Elain said, “It’s all very disorienting.”

“I can imagine,” Azriel said. Cassian flashed him a glare. But Azriel’s attention was on my sister, a polite, bland smile on his face. Her shoulders loosened a bit.”

Also it’s so funny to bring up Az smiling at Gwyn in the bonus chapter as though Az doesn’t smile at Elain (and does more than that) in the same bonus chapter.

I'm seeing some people questioning what will happen if the next book isn’t about "our" ship. So, I'm speaking for myself and sharing my opinion. When I choose to love something, I don’t choose blindly. No, I choose it because it convinces me, moves me, and makes sense. For example, I’ve known my best friend since we were little kids, but we didn’t become friends until 5 years later and when we both chose to make our friendship something real and beautiful.

So, when I see someone already having a backup plan in case their ship doesn’t work out, I feel a bit disappointed. Because I believe in what I love, and when I love something, I love it until the very end.

I’m saying this very clearly: if ACOTAR 6 isn’t about Elriel (which I strongly doubt), I’m not reading it. You won’t find me saying, "Aw, I’ll give Elucien a chance," because that’s not what I want as a reader. I have zero interest in reading that. I will always love Elriel—it's something forever and endless for me. And never let anyone makes you doubt what you love. ♥️
