Is there a group of invertebrates scientifically called gubs (like how true bugs are a thing IRL), or is "gub" just a slang word?

It's a slang word, and Sophodra despises it. Not only does it encapsulate vertebrates, but also some slugs and flying jellyfish that get about that size. (Macrovolutes and other arthropod demivolutes always get kaiju-sized, and so do most invertebrates, but there are some exceptions that get around human-sized.)

The term is a little like "bug," but honestly used a little more like the Japanese mushi. There is such a thing as a true bug (Hemiptera), but no such thing as a "true gub."

Unfortunately, despite everything I mentioned in previous posts, no one listened to me..

Two days ago, I said that my wife and I were informed by our institutions to terminate our contract, and we had bought our apartment two months before the war, and because of the war, our apartment was burned and bombed..

Unfortunately, our dues will now go to the bank..

Thus, we lost our apartment, which we cannot access because of the war, and we lost our jobs and our dues.. We lost everything..

A Cry Under the Rain... Save Us

In this freezing winter, as the rain lashes against our bodies, we stand helpless against the merciless cold, the hunger that tears through our stomachs, and a life whose light has been extinguished by oppression and an unrelenting siege.

My family and I are here in Gaza, where everything is collapsing. There is no roof to shield us from the rain, no blanket to warm our frail bodies. We cling to life while even the most basic of our rights are stolen. Every corner of our existence speaks of pain, and every moment adds a new burden we cannot bear.

Our children shiver from the cold, their innocent eyes looking at us with hope they don’t yet understand, while we, as parents, carry the weight of despair in our hearts every day.

I reach out to you, not just asking for help, but hoping that someone out there feels our pain and becomes the reason for saving lives that are desperately seeking a chance to survive.

What's the deal with Leif in the Venom AU? Is he a modern bug or did he get time travelled some other way?

He's a modern bug! He was raised by his grandparents which is why he talks like he's a hundred million years old.

He's married to muse and is a researcher! He studies languages and knows quite a few! He actually knows quite a bit of roach, while not fluent, he is the foremost expert in bugaria.

When Kabbu and Vi go to snakemouth den, instead of getting trapped, they get chased out by the spider. Kabbu knows Leif, and that he's interested in roach stuff and mentioned what they discovered. Leif of course, like any sane person with a special interest, immediately demands that he come on their next incredibly dangerous excursion.

Which of course, is how he gets venomed lol. And yeah, he's red btw. If i made him blue then I'd have to make all of team snakemouth blue.
