So now I'm salty that my wife is with her friend Elena at a bakery essentially bad-mouthing the shit out of me even though in my last post I was making a callback to her and how Mrs. Claire from Jurassic World left her out on the street once. It's funny how when I do actually think about my wife and how she's been affected in life by her relationships and empathize with her, she still manages to make her whole life revolve around how she thinks I'm unreadable and full of shit. I literally have a blog you can read. None of my thoughts are hidden. I say everything that I think even to the point of saying crap sometimes. Conclusion. No way to win with women. #TeamKyle

Kyle is a junior at the high school I graduated from 2 years ago. He has been fighting a battle with cancer for a few years and now he is losing. He beat it once but a few weeks ago it came back in his brain. His options were chemo that would cause permanent brain damage or to live it out. He continued to go to school and hang out with his friends until early last week when he was admitted to the hospital. He has gotten progressively worse and this weekend was not a good one, to say the least. I've never had the pleasure of meeting Kyle but two of my best friends are extremely close to him and this is very hard on them. I spent last night comforting both of them while one sobbed and the other attempted to hold it together. 

When Kyle was diagnosed with brain cancer, he created a challenge. He challenged anyone to cut/dye their hair into a pink mohawk. At least 40 people at his school accepted the challenge. Pink became his color and at Friday's home football game, the entire student section was dressed or painted pink. He got to facetime the student section and see his supporters before he fell into a coma.

Today, half the students in the high school met at the gate of the school with paint, tule, paper, window markers, pink ribbons, etc to decorate the high school. This was the result. Every single pole and tree has a pink ribbon on it. Almost every window is written on saying things like "Team Kyle" and "Pray 4 K". I have never been so proud of this small town I live in. The entire student body is supporting Kyle in his battle and they haven't faltered the whole fight. Driving around the school brought tears to my eyes because it is covered in pink just for Kyle.

It's a beautiful thing and I think people need to see it.
