Time travel fail in which Stan goes back to not break Ford's project, but gets bored waiting for the science fair and decides he might as well give the footbot another try.

He's no McGucket but he knows enough technical mumbo jumbo to make it move at least. If it goes well maybe they let him graduate high school this time around!

Before Stan has time to process anything he’s already being shipped off California with a full scholarship to be West Coast Tech's new poster child. 

Filbrick: I don’t care how you convinced them you’re worth anything. Don’t fuck this up and earn us millions or you’re not welcome in this house anymore!

Ford is convinced Stan cheated his way into West Coast Tech so they won't get seperated. Ford doesn’t apply to West Coast Tech out of spite. And he's definitely not believing Stan's ridiculous time travel explanation for a second.

Ford becomes obsessed with proving that Stan’s a fraud instead. 

At least they’re still talking. Even if talking means listening to Ford finding flaws in the newest paper Stan was forced to write.

Poor Stan just wants to go home to Gravity Falls and reopen the Mystery Shack

AU In which Ford’s Science Fair Project goes HORRIBLY WRONG-

*Ford looks sheepish, if not grateful for his twin’s support*

*Both Stan and Ford look on at the scene blankly, as 3 soot silhouettes paint the gym floor- Marks of an explosion causing the waxed wooden court to be burnt.*

*Stan and Ford gaze at each other with equal looks of shock and horror*

*A small pile of ash seems to stand for a moment before blowing away. Nobody speaks- Until Stanley breaks the silence. His voice is shaky and hushed- Panic ebbing into his words as we pan to the ashy scene.*

Stan: “The socks are still on, Ford. The SOCKS are STILL on…”

*True to his word, alongside the 3 victims shoes- 3 pairs of white gym socks lay dormant inside of the footwear- And practically unscathed.*

the stancest experience is loving stanley pines but willing to put him through the blender to make ford suffer in guilt

what im saying is i hope he dies first, suddenly and quickly, and ford will spend roughly at least a decade mourning the fact he lost so much time with stanley because of his petty grudges and mistakes and drowning in despair he just doesnt have stan anymore. so many more adventures they had planned is nothing but a useless checklist, their boat is too damn big without one other person, and if ford hadnt been so stubborn, they could have had so many more memories in each other arms than seperated.

but they cant because stans gone. suddenly ford is the one who's waiting to see his brother again and he's not prepared for the agony that ensures, but some part of him knows he deserves it, its a fraction of what stan has had to go through with him

i fear making an AU where sci-twi is ford and sunset is fiddleford isn’t enough. i need to do the reverse. i need to draw fiddleford trying to redeem himself after becoming a grand wizard who mind-controlled his entire school

i need to draw filbrick pressuring ford into unleashing the magic he’s researching, corrupting him into a monster that rips apart dimensions and fiddleford has to talk him down

(New?) Gravity Falls AU idea to mess with the canon because I have stuff on my mind:

Archeologist Ford AU !

The AU’s ‘what if’ : Stanford switched majors and went into social science studies instead, but he still was in a dorm with Fiddleford, and after they graduated they traveled together around the world.

Key ideas :

-Stan gets kicked out as in the canon, but gets found along the way by Ford and Fidds. They end up living as a trio (Two post grads and a con artist in one home, whatever will they do?)

-Ford ended up visiting Egypt as part of his doctoral research project (he’s still a weirdness researcher though)

-Ford, Stan and Fidds go exploring the insides of famous pyramids with a local tour guide

-Stan tries to steal some stuff and pawn it, but he ends up uncovering a sarcophagus from which emerges a living mummy.

-Plot twist: it’s Bill Cipher, baby!

-potentially the mystery trio will try to sneak him away and will bring him back to America and in Gravity Falls (?).

-it can either be interpreted as a canon divergence (so at the core of the canon events) or a post-canon divergence. (Essentially that means Bill went through the Theraprism and was reborn for whatever reason as a corpse in an ancient Egyptian tomb.)

Yeah, that’s it’s. That’s all I got. I wonder again if this has been explored yet, if not, then here’s the sign that it should be!
