Commander Log #1
((OUT OF CHARACTER: Apologies for such a dull, hurried, and long log for the first log. Before I left for home from vacation I had the opportunity to play on my brothers PC. So a lot of this took place then. Also since it had been a year and a half since I was able to play due to Hurricane Maria, when I got home I played a few days to get used to the controls as I had to rebind ALL my binds. So here is a summary of this long period of time. From here on every day played will have a role played flight log to go with it. It will be a log style with a bit of thoughts and feelings similar to my recovery logs. I hope you enjoy my journeys as I build my character. ))
[LOG SUMMARY]
It has been some time since I left the medical facility. So much to do and administrate before I could get flying again. I made it to Jameson Memorial as planned but the Wraith was still not quite finished yet. New exploration systems and new COVAS system had to be installed so while waiting I began some research. Apparently all the data I turned in along with others from Canonn Research has led to many new modules and SLFs with Guardian tech now. And with that I just had to get my hands on the FSD booster. So I bought the new Krait Phantom and kit it out for short distance exploration. I got word of a Guardian beacon at Synuefe KU-F b44-4 and decided to start there. The new Krait was a nice ship and handled well…...well save for the yaw which was only a very slight improvement to the Asp Explorer. The journey to the beacon was  relaxing and as I approached the beacon my jaw dropped. Such an amazing sight to see! I activated the beacon and scanned the device and immediately received this ancient key and  coordinates for Synuefe EU-Q c21-15 A 1 . I went to the new site and destroyed some sentinels and activated the structure. Guardian Vessel Blueprint Segment received….what? My information was wrong, this was for the SLF! I shook my head as I realized I was only half finished. I did more research and found that the site at Synuefe NL-N c23-4 B 3 had what I needed. So I headed to Synuefe NL-N c23-4 B 3 and did the whole process all over again. This time I got the Guardian Module Blueprint Segment. Now I had to get some materials and headed to Synuefe LY-I b42-2 C 2 for some easy mats at the Guardian site. It did not take long before I had what I needed and I headed out to Dunbar Ring in LTT 4428 to buy some HN Shock Mounts for a good price. I headed back to Jameson Memorial and unlocked the FSD booster. It was time to try it out. After   all I have been through with the Wraith, I decided to begin the path to engineer her to the max. This meant I had to find all the Engineers I had not found and gain their favor. I jumped in the Wraith and headed out to do the Engineers’ bidding. It took only a few days to get a few more Engineers to accept my business but soon I began to run out of materials. I went to Dav’s Hope and gathered a lot of things there but I also needed some raw materials such as arsenic and vanadium and a few other things. I got wind of this double barnacle site in the California Sector that had a good supply of minerals. I decided to add the new Guardian FSD booster to the E.S. Ambition, my Anaconda kitted out for long range exploration. 70 ly! Around 70ly jump range with the new booster! I was astonished! I made my way to California Sector DL-Y d4 C 6  and landed at the barnacle site. I got in my SRV and began to gather more materials. I also discovered that this double barnacle had some Meta Alloys as well and I gathered about 15 of them before heading out. Ill head out to aDarnielle’s Progress in Maia and sell them for a few mil credits. As I came closer to Maia I receive a message from a pirate….of course he wants my cargo. After a few interdictions and my hull getting low, I decided to screw it and ejected all my Meta Alloys for him. But this bastard decided that his demands were not enough anymore and he began firing at me again. My Anaconda is basically a glass ship at this point and I quickly jumped out. Again he interdicted me, and again….I was down to 13% hull before I had the time to Jump to the next system and then another. By that time I had lost him. I exited supercruise and did some repairs with my AFMU. The reason it took so long to be able to jump to another system was that the pirate bastard had targeted my FSD and it was down to 1% ! So after I repaired my modules , still at 13% hull, I decided to just head back to Jameson Memorial and re think things. After arriving I thought it through and decided I needed a more relaxing way to make a living for a while….at least until I adjusted to my new Implants and re learned a few things. I decided to follow a path another Anonymous Commander sent me and decided to do some short range exploration. I found a list of some systems around the Bubble that had Water worlds, High Metal Content, and Earthlike bodies. I also received a reprimand from The Pilots Federation about not keeping my daily logs. So from here on out I will be more diligent on the matter, hence why this is a summary log of about a week. I decided to use my new Phantom and headed to HIP 14976 to begin my first scans. I visited a few systems and did some thorough scans and decided to call it a day and landed on one of the moons close to a ringed water world. I will head to my bunk now and get some much needed rest. Signing off, Cmdr Daymien Rogue
