iQOO has now posted a teaser video on its official Weibo handle in China, confirming the launch date of the upcoming smartphone. The company also shared a poster of the handset on the same micro-blogging website revealing three key details of the smartphone. The image confirms that the iQOO Z1 will come with a 144Hz display. The silhouette of the smartphone in the teaser image reveals a single punch-hole cutout in the top right corner. The upcoming iQOO Z1 will also support 5G according to the teaser posted. The iQOO Z1 will allow users to switch between display refresh rates The punch-hole display of the upcoming smartphone was also recently spotted in a couple of alleged live images, which surfaced on Weibo. Both live images give us a glimpse of the front panel with minimal bezels, punch-hole cutout and slightly thick chin. However, one of the pictures also reveals that the upcoming iQOO Z1 will allow users to switch between refresh rate options like 60Hz, 90Hz, 120Hz and 144Hz. We can also see an indent on the right side, which will presumably house a fingerprint scanner embedded into the power button, with the volume rocker placed above. . . . . #techies_page_iqoo #techies_page #techies #tech #technology #iqoo #vivo #vivoiqooz1 #iqooz1 #vivoiqoo #144hz #punchhole #120hz #90hz #weibo #china #indonesia #india #japan #australia #austria #usa #uk #iceland #sweden #switzerland #brasil #hungary #rome #romania https://www.instagram.com/p/CAElinSgLw3/?igshid=nfgxddibxi2t

The vivo iQOO 3 is getting an INR4,000 discount on all its 4G-only versions bringing the base 8GB/128GB model's price down to INR34,990. The 8GB/256GB option will set you back INR37,990. Meanwhile, the 5G-capable 12GB/256GB variant is only discounted by INR2,000 and is now listed at INR44,990 on Flipkart. The discounts are iQool and all, but there's a tiny caveat - you won't be able to actually buy an iQOO 3 until the Covid-19 lockdown in India ends, or May 3 for the time being. . . . . #techies_page_iqoo #techies_page #techies #tech #technology #iqoo #iqoo3 #iqoo35g #india #indian #vivo #discount #inr #flipkart #covid19 #shipping #8gbram #128gb #256gb #4g #5g #usa #uk #australia #russia #canada #europe #unitedstates #unitedkingdom #southkorea https://www.instagram.com/p/B_ZrEpVgoZx/?igshid=1hku1ag80r86r

It's a given at this point: first, one of BBK's brands launches a phone under a new sub-brand. Then, that sub-brand loses the co-branding of its parent company. This happened with Realme (spun off of Oppo), and with iQOO too (spun off of vivo). The next step for Realme was software-related, as its phones initially ran Oppo's ColorOS, but have since shifted to Realme UI. Guess what? The same is happening with iQOO. All iQOO devices launched prior to the iQOO 3 5G ran vivo's Funtouch OS on top of Android, but the iQOO 3 5G debuted the brand new iQOO UI. And this will not stay exclusive to this particular model. Not only will future iQOO handsets come with iQOO UI out of the box (including the iQOO Neo 3 but the older iQOOs will also be updated to feature the new skin. If you have one of those and were wondering when to expect iQOO UI to hit your phone, the company has officially announced that the rollout will happen in mid-June. This seems to be valid for the Chinese market only, so as usual precautions apply if you are in another country - it might still take a while after that for the rollout to go global. The phones that will be updated to iQOO UI based on Android 10 in mid-June are the original iQOO, the iQOO Neo, iQOO Neo 855, iQOO Neo 855 Racing, and iQOO Pro. Weirdly enough, the iQOO Pro 5G is missing from the list, so perhaps it will receive the new software goods at some later point. . . . . #techies_page_iqoo #techies_page #techies #tech #technology #iqoo #bbk #bbkelectronics #subbrand #cobranding #realme #oppo #vivo #coloros #realmeui #iqooui #rollout #iqoo3 #iqooneo3 #iqooneo #iqooneo855 #iqooneo855racingedition #iqoopro #iqoopro5g #update #android10 #funtouchos #ui #china #usa https://www.instagram.com/p/B_VORN9gSfO/?igshid=1um4twg2o2key

vivo sub-brand iQOO is set to unveil the iQOO Neo3 5G on April 23 and the company has been drip-feeding information about the smartphone to build up the hype. iQOO previously revealed that Neo3 5G will be powered by the Snapdragon 865 SoC and will be the cheapest smartphone to have the Snapdragon 865 chipset at the helm. Now the company has announced that iQOO Neo3 5G will feature dual stereo speakers for an enhanced audio experience. Additionally, the smartphone will come with a Hi-Fi chip with a signal-to-noise ratio of 125dB. We don't have the full specs of the iQOO Neo3 5G yet, but from previous leaks and official teasers, we know the smartphone will pack a 144Hz screen with a punch hole in the top-right corner for the selfie shooter. Around the back, it will have three cameras housed inside a rectangular cutout. On the inside, the iQOO Neo3 5G will have 8GB RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, but there will likely be more memory options that are yet to be confirmed. The iQOO Neo3 5G will support 44W charging, but the company is yet to confirm its battery capacity. . . . . #techies_page_iqoo #techies_page #techies #tech #technology #iqooneo3 #iqooneo35g #iqoo #vivoiqoo #vivo #5g #snapdragon865 #hifichipset #125db #8gbram #256gb #ufs3point1 #fastcharging #144hz #punchhole #dualstereospeakers #stereospeakers #usa #unitedstates #uk #unitedkingdom #canada #australia #germany #spain https://www.instagram.com/p/B_J6ym3A6CG/?igshid=gunikhrynect

The iQOO Neo3 5G has an ambitious goal – to become the most affordable phone that offers the speed of the Snapdragon 865 chipset. And that’s fast, 600,000+ points on AnTuTu fast, as you can see in the screenshot below. This score was achieved with 8GB of RAM on board as well as 256GB of speedy UFS 3.1 storage. While this is not the highest AnTuTu score we’ve seen, it’s still a pretty impressive result considering that this phone is targeting a price point of CNY 3,000 or lower (€390/$425) as that’s how much the Redmi K30 Pro costs. And while the K30 is also powered by the S865 chip, it doesn’t come anywhere close to the 144Hz refresh rate of the Neo3 – in fact, there’s only one phone that can match it and it’s not even competing in this category. All other high refresh rate mobile screens out there are either 90Hz or 120Hz. Even more interesting is that this will be the first phone to support adaptive refresh rate. The phone will automatically adjust the refresh and touch sampling rates to match the frame rate of the currently running app or game. Outside of games, the screen will instantly go into 144Hz mode when you touch it to ensure that the UI is as smooth as possible (and then drop back to 60Hz to reduce power usage while nothing is happening). The display will also use Qualcomm’s LTM tech (“local adaptive tone mapping”) that boosts the darker parts of the image to improve visibility under bright sunlight. The iQOO Neo3 5G will be unveiled on April 23 (that’s a week from now). . . . . #techies_page_iqoo #techies_page #techies #tech #technology ##snapdragon865 #144hz #ufs #ufs3point1 #usa #china #unitedstatesofamerica #uk #unitedkingdom #australia #europe #iqooneo35g #iqooneo3 #iqoo #vivoiqoo #vivo #antutu #8gbram #256gb #redmik30pro #cny #ui #60hz #90hz #canada https://www.instagram.com/p/B_FMMloAyW5/?igshid=tiswrzp8xlef
