Hey guys for those of you who may or may not know, I've been taking an art class on the side. The class is great, and the homework is intense! Between work, school and everything else, I've been pretty busy. But I love the growth that comes from challenge so it's all good. Anyways, it's a digital rendering class, and it's pretty technical and has been pretty challenging. It's almost 80% perspective. Here’s a happy little technical exercise I made up in my bathroom tonight. The idea uses a cascading descending scale utilizing open strings, going to different inversions of the IV and V chord. Then after doing that 2x, I try to play the scale going down again, but this time using the slide...cleanly. As you can hear- not so clean the first time! But gimme a break, I just made this thing up!
