The Caged Prince

Before the GIW had captured Danny, his life was pretty good. His parents had accepted him as Phantom. He and his Ghostly Rogues were beginning the process of making scheduled fights, and he was slowly getting his grades back up.

He's going to become the Ghost King when he becomes of age. The Crown of Flames and the Ring of Rage had changed to match his soul, as they have changed to match Pariah's soul when he had them. The Crown of Flames had turned into the Crown of Stars, allowing Danny access to his obsession of Space at all times. The Ring of Rage turned into the Ring of Bonds, giving him strength when he's got one or more of his fraid nearby.

Of course, the new Crown and Ring provided him the means to survive the torture from the GIW, but they couldn't help him save his fraid. He remains in the GIW labs of the facility that holds him, waiting for rescue from anyone who is kind enough to care about him.

Bruce Wayne has been contacted by a branch of the government, requesting a meeting with him, and potentially set up a partnership. Bruce had been investigating the disappearance of Vlad Masters, who vanished half a year ago after the deaths of the Fenton family and a few other kids.

Vlad had disappeared to find Dani, with Maddie gone, the Fruitloop is running out of time, and needs to save Danny, the last thing Maddie left behind.

Bruce and his children don't know what they'll find within the GIW base they are going to (Bruce's children invited themselves to the meeting that has been set up), but they'll not like it when they find a boy within the labs, having medical scars all over his body.

I was thinking about a post about how Malleus Tsum stayed and kept watch over Silver Tsum while it slept. I was just thinking about what if Malleus actually does that and Silver just doesn’t know.

I imagine it would have started when Silver was young, and Malleus would occasionally stop by the cottage. Silver would be playing outside with the forest creatures and then suddenly be asleep. Malleus, not exactly knowing what to do, figured that leaving a weak human child unattended in the woods was probably not great, so he just silently watched close by.

And Malleus keeps doing it even after Silver grows up because he knows Silver is strong and can defend himself. But when Silver sleeps, he can’t defend himself; he’s totally vulnerable (not that the forest creatures would ever harm him, but still). There have been a couple of instances where a bear wanders close, and Malleus thinks he has to intervene, but it just ends up cuddling next to Silver, and Malleus is left there, wondering, “Is this normal? This doesn’t feel normal.”

Silver never sees this because Malleus always keeps his distance and leaves as soon as Silver wakes up because Lilia says that Silver is at that age where he should be “independent” or whatever that means. He’ll at least keep it a secret because he doesn’t want to embarrass the boy when Silver is technically supposed to be protecting him.

Things get interesting when Silver enrolls in NRC because the woodland creatures would never harm Silver. The students at NRC? Harm physically? Meh, maybe if Silver was sleeping in someone’s path to class. Trick, prank, and steal stuff? Most definitely.

Silver doesn’t seem to understand that other people may not have the best intentions, and falling asleep on campus with all his school stuff next to him is not the best idea. Especially in a school where the students are known to have less-than-stellar moral compasses. Not that he can help it, of course. Once he feels sleepy, he’s down.

During the first couple weeks of his first year, some students try to prank Silver or take his stuff when he is asleep. However, when they try, they feel a shiver of dread when Malleus fucking Draconia appears right behind them, asking them what they think they’re doing.

Malleus wasn’t planning on harming any of said students. Intentionally. He knows better than that, at least. But his reputation precedes him, and he scares the would-be perpetrators shitless, so it becomes common knowledge around the school not to mess with a sleeping Silver unless you want to be at the receiving end of Malleus’s glare.

Silver doesn’t know this is happening and thinks NRC is safe and filled with kind students. Malleus swears he will never say a word about this to Silver, and Lilia knows and thinks it’s hilarious.

Sebek does not know this occurs at all and will run around looking for Malleus until he finds Silver. He demands that Silver wake up to help look for him and Malleus decides that he can stay hidden for a couple of minutes more as his retainers now run around looking for him.

Tldr: NRC students know better than to mess with Silver when he’s asleep because there is a non-zero chance that an unamused Malleus will show up and make you piss yourself

it's finally done, and it's probably the gooiest garbage i'll ever make.

credit to my new buddy @i-love-tdp-if-you-can-tell for doing almost all the characters' flat colors!! i am so so so infinitely thankful to them bc otherwise none of the other efforts of making this would have happened. between the lineart, backgrounds, shading, and touch-ups, these five pages have taken years off numerous braincells' lifespans, and without their help, may have annihilated my entire brain capacity.

Y’know, I feel like we don’t give the writers enough credit when it comes to Soren

So often when a character is the “comic relief”, they start off with dynamic personalities and then lose them as the season go on (looking at you Cat Valentine and Steve Palchuk), but not Soren

No, Soren somehow manages to jump between being comic relief and genuinely serious and caring seamlessly. And it’s all the same character, too! He doesn’t feel like he’s switching personalities they’re just other facets of who he is and it’s amazing!!!

Another Ghost Dragon Prompt? Indeed.

The Ward had made a mistake. Had stolen something that had caused the very Skies to lash out, entire worlds at risk from their actions.

Time Itself shrieked in rage at the loss of Its child, or at least that's how every magic user- and the speedsters, pale and shaken and looking sick- had described it.

Someone had taken the young prince of the Infinite, and it was not the Tyrant King, long since sealed away, that lead the charge, but the Queen Regent that many had long since forgotten.

Many forgot that it was not the Dark who courted Time, but Time who courted the Dark. That It was just, if not more so, merciless as Its partner, and would Devour worlds should Its child- still with newdeath soft scales- was not returned.

Which meant that for the heroes, there was now a Clock ticking down ever so quietly. They had to take care of what was a government branch, had to deal with consequences of going over the law, or their World would End in dragon fire.
