My Champion of Hircine, Svala <3 Granted a boon from the God of the Hunt himself, she roams Tamriel with the senses of an eagle as a Hopebringer for those who'd listen. Though she mostly travels at night, she doesn't mind the solitude.
I love her very much ahhhh (more stuff below)

A close up and a version without the background (which I'm very proud of I will say, don't really do backgrounds)
And references used, which she's also based off of-- a Harpy Eagle

do yall like vampires
here's my emo ass Altmer/Maormer vampire OC fourth era design
lore dump + close ups under the cut
Ecis and his sister Aestle were raised on Summerset which was. Not Fun because hes half Maormer, and his sister is half Bosmer. Their mom was weird and found thrill in having relationships or one night stands with non Altmer races, the more "forbidden" the more fun it was, which eventually resulted in Aestle, and later Ecis. She doesn't really stop to think how this is going to impact her mixed children, and was not only neglectful of them, but did very little to protect her children from Altmer prejudices.
So from a very young age Ecis realized he'd have to be the one that protected himself and his sister, which resulted in him being dubbed the "problem child". He was very angry at the world for the way he and his sister were treated during their childhood, even more so at their mother for her neglect, and his cynical view of the world and his assumption that no one will ever accept him only grew over the years. He ends up falling into less savory crowds and learning necromancy, and eventually swept into the Worm Cult. He doesn't even really question what they're really trying to achieve until Aestle ends up getting kidnapped and put in the line of sacrifices.
With that as a wake up call, he immediately helps his sister escape, and a faulty and sabotaged portal winds up with Aestle falling into the sea near Khenarthi's Roost, and Ecis stranded in Coldharbour. While there hes infected with Vampirism, which is technically the only reason he survives the several months he spends there.
Ecis is reunited with Aestle several months later when she joins the Mages and Fighters Guilds assault on Coldharbour, They meet my other ESO era OCs, Reedys [Ebonheart Pact] and Daridres [Daggerfall Covenant, Vestige] and all are instrumental in the success of the Coldharbour assault.
Even in his aid to the success of the Coldharbour Assault, Ecis still feels he needs to do more to deserve redemption, and so Daridres tells him to seek out House Ravenwatch. Joins up and eventually decides to abandon his family names (that he honestly barely used anyways) and take the name of Ravenwatch.
he ends up outliving his sister and closest friends but lets ignore that for now. Hes also connected to several different OCs throughout the 3rd and 4th era but thats a whole other can of worms. If youve read this far thank u so much for reading ur so cool :3
#drawing the vampire form is NOT usually stuff i usually do nor is it really in my comfort zone so it was an interesting experience#not my first attempt but this turned out leagues better than the other ones and i like the result#anyways enjoy my emo ass dude that i cannot take seriously sometimes but i love his edgy ass#dude goes from the most jaded asshole youve ever met (and the only person he cares about is his sister)#to being the most sad and pathetic wet cat whos kinda swagless but also very gentle and sweet despite looking scary and intimidating as fuc#he tries to do the best he can with what hes got but still doesnt think its enough#oc: ecis#the elder scrolls#tes oc#tes ocs#tes#eso#eso oc#elder scrolls online#the elder scrolls skyrim#skryim#tesblr#altmer#maormer#vampire#house ravenwatch#necromancer#necromancy#art#digital art

I’m late. I couldn’t decide and I’m late. I have decided. I will… I will show you my future Miraak wooer, Eirún. I’ve shown off her werewolf form, and technically I’ve drawn her and her dragon priestess incarnation. Back in oh idk, 2019-2021??? She’s somewhere at the beginning of this blog.
Tagged by all these lovely folks! @skyrim-forever @silly-little-diary @umbracirrus @chiqita @madam-whim @theoneandonlysemla @pocket-vvardvark @dirty-bosmer @pinessydr !!! Thank you so much! And sorry for the delay in me catching up on the posts! 🫶💕
Gonna tag @mavariel @bougainvillea-and-saltwater @kiir-do-faal-rahhe @sulphuricgrin @madamefluffnstuff @illumiera @bostoniangirl21 @yewphoric @oblivions-dawn @lobo-inu @23daemon @sanzas-reverie @sunlightpassingthroughthewater no pressure or obligations! And anyone feel free to tag me if you wanna show me something! 🫶☺️
Snow.
Snow and ash.
She held her hand as a large flake floated down. It transformed into a leaf as it touched her palm.
Eirún looked over the small hamlet as the greenery faded into her view. She blinked and rubbed her eyes. Riverwood laid before her. She turned her head, looking for her Shield-Brother. And Farkas wasn’t hard to miss as he towered over the majority of Skyrim. He tilted his head as she walked over. Confusion spread across his face.
“You look lost….” He raised his eyebrows and wrapped his arm around her neck.
Eirún frowned. “Still getting used….” She trailed off.
Farkas ruffled her platinum silver hair as he pulled away. “Aye. It can take time to get used to. Not losing control?”
Eirún shook her head. She fixed the long strands of hair, pulling them out of her face. “No. I’m fine. Whiterun is overwhelming. I can see why the Circle takes jobs all the time.” She smiled softly. “It’s quieter. Out here….”
Farkas gave her a soft, knowing smile. “It is. You’ll get used to it. You had an easier first transformation than me…. Vilkas had it hard. Aela said she did as well. You did well. Not losing yourself.”
Eirún looked at him. She smiled a bit. “Skjor said as such before we left. I am just glad I didn’t do anything to bring dishonor to the Companions.” She brushed her fingers through the ends of her hair. She looked to the sky as a cloud passed over the sun, casting a large shadow over the small hamlet. She shielded her eyes as the cloud passed allowing the warmth of the sunlight to cascade over Riverwood.
Farkas watched her for a moment before looking around the small village. “We wouldn’t have made you a werewolf if we thought you couldn’t handle it. Same with you being a part of the Circle.” He put his hand on her back. “Let’s get back home.”
“I am looking forward to collapsing into my bed when we get home.” She laughed.
“We gotta drink first. Eat a large meal and drink a keg of mead.” Farkas copied her and laughed. “Tilma will have a feast for us. Especially since you have joined the Circle.”

I've hit 2k words on the last chapter for A Taste of Death now (that feels so final and strange ugh) and basically I threw over what I had planned for some part (so that we feel bad later in the story). So... technically I wrote those 2k words without even touching on my bullet points yet, lol. Last time that worked out great and gifted us the big ass 18k chapter. But hey, I thought about handling the chapter thing different. As all these chapters are named after the circles of hell, I will come around to rename them into Circle I to IX. And circles can be as long as I want!!! Anyway, I'm aiming for 8 to 10k for this chapter, let's see what happens.
In the meantime, enjoy the aftermath of Rith finding his sister sitting on the corpse of a man she brutally murdered and stuffing her face with his insides:
What was done could not be undone. Not then, not now. Her brother had found out about the secret she had kept, had uncovered the terror that dwelled within her. Denial was impossible, after all, he had two functioning eyes in his head. The blood on her lips grew cool and she resisted the temptation to bathe her tongue in it. The hunger still roiled inside her, urging her to continue feasting on the flesh. Though not like this, not when he was watching.
“Rith,” she once again repeated his name, her own voice now shaking as much as her hands trembled.
Her gaze flicked from him to the corpse beneath her. There was no more a face to look at and the feeling of peeling the skin and muscle from the bone haunted her fingers, did not let go of her mind. At once, she jerked away, her back hitting the tabletop. The bottles jittered, one fell over and rolled over the wood. Just before the edge it stopped, not bursting into shards like the other had done. What was left of Hakar sagged and his head rolled to the side, the gruesome work she had done now facing her brother. The fraction of a second long Ria had the urge to turn it back, to save Rith from the sight. Too late.
She stumbled, her feet entangling with each other. Almost she fell over, only able to keep on her legs with holding on to the table next to her. Her bare feet dove into the sea of blood beneath her, the hem of her floor length nightgown absorbed the red with a ferocious hunger. Tears welled on her lids, wanted to gush over her face and thin the blood on it.
“It is me,” she muttered, swallowing a pitiful whimper coming along with the words. “Rith, it is me, Ria!”
He shook his head, retreated a bit. “No, no. I don’t know what you are and what you’ve done to my Ria, but you are not my sister!”
Above all, fear spoke from his tone and as much as Ria was able to recognise in the dim environment, he too shook like aspen leaves in the wind. She stretched out her hand, grasping for him. Crimson dripped thick from her fingertips, leaving stains on the floor. Gods, how was she supposed to convince him?

WIP whenever tf
I've had practically nothing in progress writing-wise in ages. Lost my mojo. But I'm trying to get back into a groove. Not happy with how I've done BLP so far, so I'm rewriting it, from the beginning, and incorporating Miranja's journal into it.
However, this scene from Out of the Ashes came up in a conversation the other day, and OotA technically still counts as a WIP, since it's not finished (dammit - NONE of the parts of Miranja's story is truly finished!). So I figured what the hell. It's been a long time since I had any writing to share, and this is one of the best scenes to really show how Miranja's mind works. Not even any sex here. <gasp!>
Tagging friends whose writing I've been enjoying whilst not producing anything myself. @dirty-bosmer @lillxart @mareenavee @skyrim-forever @thequeenofthewinter @theoneandonlysemla I hope you enjoy it.
It was just about eight o’clock in the evening when they arrived back in Solitude. Before doing anything else, Miranja went directly to Castle Dour.
Tullius was sitting on the bench in the corner by the enchanting table in the foyer. Miranja had gone straight to the war room looking for him, hadn’t found him, had checked his bedroom, still hadn’t found him, and had backtracked to the front door before he finally spoke to her and drew her attention.
“Looking for me, Auxiliary?”
Surprised, Miranja turned toward the sound of his voice and approached him.
“Yes, sir. Here’s the Jagged Crown. Legate Rikke sent me to deliver it to you.” She handed over the Crown, and Tullius took it and turned it in his hands, examining it with interest as he replied.
“Excellent work, soldier. I have to admit, I had my doubts it even existed. Did you run into any trouble?”
Tears filled Miranja’s eyes, but she kept a stiff upper lip. Teldryn’s hand in the middle of her back certainly helped give her fortitude.
“We lost a lot of good men. I hope it was worth it.” Tullius didn’t need to know that she was also talking about the Stormcloaks who died.
“That’s not for you to decide, soldier. I wouldn’t have sent you in the first place if it wasn’t going to be worth it.”
Miranja’s pride stung at those words, while at the same time, her sense of justice was offended. She was the gods-damned Dragonborn, as well as a Thane in this hold, and she had become largely unaccustomed to people talking down to her. And in her opinion, this stupid war wasn’t worth the loss of ANY people, if you got right down to brass tacks. No one should be dying over what she felt was a deeply personal religious issue. It was tantamount in her mind to killing people for what they did in their own bedrooms.
“You seem to forget who you’re speaking to, General. May I be candid with you, sir?”
“By all means, Auxiliary. Let’s hear it.” There was a challenge in his voice and in the way he jutted out his chin.
“With all due respect, sir, I don’t like you very much.”
“Well, that’s fine,” Tullius replied indifferently. He rose and brushed past her to carry the crown into the war room. “I’m not here to win popularity contests. I’m here to keep the Dominion out of Skyrim, and to quell this dissention.”
Miranja followed him, and Teldryn tagged along quietly behind her. “The Dominion is already in Skyrim, whether you want to admit it or not. I pass Thalmor on the road every day taking Stormcloak prisoners to gods-know-where to do gods-know-what to them. The only reason I don’t kill them is that I don’t want a bounty on my own head.”
“Wise choice,” Tullius acknowledged briefly, but added, “Think what you want, Auxiliary. It could be much worse.”
“I’m sure it could. I just want you to know that I think you’re a cold, insensitive…” She hesitated for a moment, searching for a milder word than asshole.’ “…jerk. I wonder if you have a compassionate bone in your body, and if you really care about the people of Skyrim at all.”
Tullius’ face darkened with anger. “Listen up, Auxiliary. I’m here to do a job. Not that it’s any of your damned business, but I have family back in Cyrodiil who I love and miss terribly. I’ve been in Skyrim longer than I ever wanted to be. I’m doing what I’m paid to do, what I believe is for the greater good in the long run. I hope that’s also what you’re doing, why you joined the Legion in the first place.”
“Of course it is,” Miranja glowered back. “But I’d like to think I’m going about it in a more personal, compassionate way. I’m not sitting in a fancy castle ordering everyone else around. I’m on the ground, learning about the people and helping them in more ways than just killing Stormcloaks and getting Imperial soldiers killed.”
“Well, good for you,” Tullius replied with overt sarcasm. “Imperial Generals don’t have that luxury. I didn’t get to my station in life by being compassionate.”
“That may be so, General, but it’s obvious you’re not particularly happy. And there’s no reason to take it out on others. You chose your path.”
“And you chose yours when you joined the Legion, Auxiliary. You can either follow orders or take up residence in the Solitude prison. Which will it be?”
She was sick of being addressed as a title. “My name is Miranja. Miranja Laurentius. And I will follow orders, but that doesn’t mean I have to like it.”
“You’re absolutely right, Miranja. We all have to do things we don’t like to bring about things we do like.” He stopped and regarded her with a scrutinizing look, as Miranja stared back with some surprise at his unknowing echoing of her father’s words.
“You said your name was Laurentius?”
“Yes.” She didn’t bother with the ‘sir.’
“Your father was in the Legion, wasn’t he?”
“Yes… sir.” Where was he going with this?
“Ah, yes, I see the resemblance now. I worked with your father briefly in Hammerfell some twenty-five years or more ago. I remember him because he had the same bleeding heart and lack of respect that you do.”
“I’m proud of my father and his work for the underprivileged,” Miranja said, jutting out her chin as Tullius had earlier. “And both my father and I give respect where it’s due. We just feel morally compelled to point out injustice regardless of who’s perpetrating it, and that includes the Empire.”
“Well, his soft heart is what kept him from advancing past Captain. He could have been a general himself, if he’d been tougher.”
“My father and I don’t measure success by titles and wealth. We measure our riches and our station in life by the happiness we create and the love we give and receive. My father retired a happy, peaceful man, and he’s still bringing joy to those around him and earning respect for his deeds.”
“Well, that’s a heartwarming story, Auxiliary, and your opinions are duly noted, but it’s time we got back to business.”
Miranja heaved a resigned sigh and closed her eyes for a moment, then spoke tiredly. “Very well, sir. What’s next?”
“I need someone I can trust to deliver a message of great import to Jarl Balgruuf of Whiterun.”
“Yes, sir.”
“We have it on good authority that Ulfric has raised enough men to attack the city of Whiterun. The Jarl, however, refuses the Legion’s support. This missive should convince him. Be aware, soldier, these documents contain sensitive intelligence for the Jarl’s eyes only.”
Yes, yes, she’d overheard the conversation between Rikke and Tullius when she’d first walked into Castle Dour yesterday. “Of course, General. We may not see eye-to-eye, but we are on the same side, and you can trust me. Balgruuf was one of my first friends when I came to Skyrim. I’ll see this gets delivered.”
“You do that,” Tullius replied, eyeing her thoughtfully. “You’re dismissed.”
Once they were outside, Tel whistled – or tried to, and only partially succeeded with the scarf over his face – and shook his head. “Damn, woman, I can’t believe you spoke to a General like that and didn’t end up in the stockade.”
“Speaking your mind isn’t a crime, Tel, and I didn’t disobey any orders. I asked him for permission to be candid, and I also made sure to include ‘with all due respect.’ My father taught me that. I know when I’m within my rights.”
Teldryn chuckled. “I like a woman with cast iron balls. I bet your dick is bigger than his.”
Miranja grinned and blushed with a mixture of amusement and embarrassment. They were still standing between the door guards, and there was no way the guards hadn’t heard the whole conversation, but they were wisely keeping their mouths shut. She knew the barracks would be abuzz later, though.
“So, what are we going to do with the rest of the evening, boss?”

1, 2, 10, 14 for Molly and Kharish :)
THANK YOU JAY <3 c':
1. What was the original thought that led to the creation of this character?
Molly: I'll be 100% honest it was this specific "yeAUGH" sound the Breton lady in Oblivion makes. I was stumbling my way through the game and whenever I jumped off a staircase she was sounding like she'd just broken both ankles and I was like 😭😭 I'M SO SORRY... every time it happened I would catch myself thinking "oh she is having the absolute worst time." and then I had to interrogate that further by expanding upon what the absolute worst time looked like.
Kharish: was sitting on the couch watching Knight boot up Skyrim on their playstation. "YOU CAN PLAY AS AN ORC? AN ORC LADY??" I uttered, lesbianly. (they made a Bosmer but assured me that yes this was a possibility.) then I acquired myself a copy on my laptop, learned more about the travesty that is the writing for Orsimer in Skyrim, got my brain infested by wizards, and said "but what if.............." and proceeded to marinate for [REDACTED AMOUNT OF TIME]
2. How long was the process before the character reached its final version? (or a version that would be clearly recognizable as the character?)
Molly: hilariously and miraculously she was pretty fully-formed from the get-go, but it took some time for me to flesh out what I thought her life pre-Crisis looked like just because she was so defined by how her life going to pieces shaped her in my head. still is, but now I've got a better idea what those pieces formed before :') at one point though after I'd finished the Shivering Isles I opened the game to discover my save file had been corrupted somehow and the only save I could load was prior to the Bruma gate, which was when I went "oh, okay, so you fully want to DELETE yourself" re: the mantling arc fhdslfkjsd. even my first doodles of her looking back are pretty consistent with her character design lol. only really major thing is that was before I'd decided I liked Bretons having the little point to the ears
Kharish: actually probably quite some time!! due to being Quite Ill™ when I first picked up the game(s) I was not doing my best thinking or existing frankly to be honest so I spent the majority of my first playthrough just absorbing and observing. once I set on where I wanted to focus in (and was no longer consuming 97% brainpower just by being in pain) it was much less time though! (visually speaking however those who were present on my Ye Olde Patreon at the time may remember some doodling I did of the character that would later become Kharish... I don't think those would be recognizable as her now + even after I started talking about/drawing for TES more publicly it took me a bit to land on how I wanted to draw her in a way that LOOKS like her to me)
10. What is their main character arc in the story? Where do they start and how do they develop? Do they get a happy ending or is their story a tragic one?
Molly: negative(?) character development... she starts having been put into an impossible situation she somehow survives; finds some unhealthy codependence respite in the company of Martin, who remembers, and Baurus, who never knew; faces the looming spectre of "after it's all over and everything goes back to normal" that people keep talking about with the absolute certainty that there is not a normal for her to go back to and if she goes back it will all be wrong no matter what; becomes more resilient in her quest to get killed for something despite that being the opposite of what she thinks she wants; has everything crash down on her head again when it's Supposed to be over; goes to the Shivering Isles looking to get killed for real this time please and instead is forcibly given Madgod Therapy; succeeds in erasing herself at last. so... if you squint you might call it a happy ending, given that she does technically get what she wanted!
Kharish: one of the main "points" I guess of her character is stability, so she doesn't undergo nearly any as dramatic changes as the others lol, but she starts out looking for more to learn away from the Big City + ends up getting to be part of a major academic discovery and also smash a scary guy's face in. and makes new friends!! and gets smooched sometimes even... turns out you CAN have an unambiguously happy ending* if you're not one of the protagonists of the world :P
14. Do you have any quotes tied to the character, either from the story itself or from another source that fit them?
BOY DO I LOL. character tags have some but bc I am me I'll pick a couple that I don't think are in there... for Molly I always think of "I Put The Coffin Out to Sea" but especially the lines "I am obsessive. I contain nothing but the replay. / I am blood and blood and replay. I am please don't go."... woman who can't conceive of a future because of the destruction of the past and seeming futility of the present. the whole thing is so so good though if you've never read it before.
then massive tonal shift lol but for Kharish I think often about the bit in TLU where Schmendrick is posturing and preparing spells and judo moves and whatnot and then "Molly picked up a rock." always makes me laugh but that kind of combination of humor and practicality and "this is what I can do, so I'll do it" is what I try to aim for with her :')
#*there are no happy endings because nothing ever ends etc etc. but you know what I mean#thank you again!! <3#Mouse talks!#Molly Cadoret#Kharish gra-Shatul

Hi! For the OC Ask game: 10, O, and 🤖!
Hello thank you so much! I'm so sorry this took pretty much a week and that the answers may be kind of lame :/ Thank you so much fo sending an ask <3
10. First time adopting/taking care of a pet
I don't think Theodora ever has a pet, she's not a huge animal person. I think the closest thing would be when her kids are young and find an injury wolf pup. The kids want to keep it and she says they can't keep a wild animal forever, but they do try to nurse it back to health. Unfortunately the injuries are too grave and it passes after a few days. Kids are very upset so they bury it and give it a little funeral. Sorry this is so sad :( They wouldn't have pets so this is the closest thing to taking care of animal I can think would happen.
O. First double-date with another couple
Due to them initially having to keep their relationship(/whatever the hell they called it :P) a secret, then having to lay low for the first few years in the Imperial City; they don't encounter a lot of other couples! Theo's bestie Phy isn't interested in a long term relationship at this point in her life so there isn't many options.
But I have something that can count as a double-date, as they have both been working under General Tullius (Theodora in her capacity as a Legate, Ondolemar as an informant) I feel like he would invite them over for dinner. Mostly to be polite and it's basically him trying to evaluate if Ondolemar's Thalmor beliefs are still there; bringing up hot button topics. So this is technically hanging out with another couple :P
🤖 - First nonhuman character you wrote
I actually wrote 2 nonhuman characters in my first fic, which was a Serana x Teldryn fic. Vampire and Dunmer elf <3 It's not good, it's my first fic ever pls don't read it, I like to think I've improved.
I also noticed I enjoy writing half-human or mixed characters, in addition to my main oc's kids who are Imperial/Altmer; I've also got some other ocs who are Breton/Dunmer, Bosmer/Altmer.
#tesblr#asks#thank you so much sorry I dragged my ass#ive had an interesting time as of late#but I enjoyed answering these#oc: theodora

Work in Progress, Wine in Pintglass? either or...
Anyhoo, I was tagged by the amazing @paraparadigm @thequeenofthewinter @dirty-bosmer @mareenavee and @kookaburra1701
I don't know who else to tag since most of us would tag the same people, so if you, yes YOU, see this and want to share a snip you are proud of, please do!
This is chapter 14 of my fic Layers of Snow and Ash.
Technically the chapter is finished, it just needs tidied but I can still share snippets!
Chapter 14: Lectures and Fire Salted Wine (title may change!)
Embarrassingly, she jumped when someone sat next to them, the room was filling up even more for the conjuration lecture. A group of three Dunmer smiled at them. The familiar skin colour and pointed ears eased her worries, but a new anxiety was born as they began to make small talk.
“El's juli taljed lah dunmer iru!” one of them exclaimed while smiling between Brelyna and Nera. She brushed her red hair aside and grinned expectantly.
Nera had no idea what she said but assumed it was a friendly greeting. Brelyna leaned over Nera and offered a hand. She smiled politely.
“It’s good to see some Dunmer here too, as much as I would love to converse in our tongue, it may lead to some potential issues with the others. You know how paranoid people can be.”
The Dunmer laughed. “Of course. My name’s Rayya. So where have you come from?
“We’re Brelyna and Nera. We came from Port Telvannis, east of Vvardenfell. You?” Brelyna spoke calmly while Nera clenched her fists around her robes.
“Oh wow!” the Dunmer gasped, seeming impressed. “Well I came with my brother, Endsi, from Raven Rock, and Sulera came from Leyawiin.”
Brelyna smiled at them politely. “It’s a pleasure.”
“So,” Rayya continued after sneaking a glance at the next lecturer who was speaking softly to Master Tolfdir, “You came from Morrowind? Did you walk?”
Shaking her head, Brelyna flipped to a new page while Nera swallowed. “We came by boat.”
Rayya made a soft noise, “So you’ll have come through Windhelm then?”
Nera answered this time, despite her trembling hands rustling the paper. “Why do you ask?”
Scoffing Rayya shared a look with her brother. He spoke next while the one they called Sulera watched with curiosity.
“Well, have you seen the place? It’s disgusting… the way our kind are just…”
Nera nodded, cutting him off. “The Nords are particularly brutal there.”
Endsi laughed harshly. “Not them, our kind. Those Dunmer, they’re a disgrace! How dare they meekly just take that… honestly.”
With each word, Nera felt the ground crack underneath her. Her face flamed and her mind raced with a thousand possible replies. Brelyna’s leg tapped hers as subtly as possible and in the time it took for Nera to find an answer, the next lecturer called their attention.
“Thank you for your patience and curiosity. My name is Phinis Gestor, this college’s Master of Conjuration. I am aware that there are several different levels of mages among us, so I shall do my best to be succinct…”
The rest of his lecture was lost to the crashing in Nera’s ears. Her quill remained motionless on the paper while Brelyna was more engaged with this lecture than she had been with any of the others. Nera couldn’t pull herself out of her head enough to listen to him. The gnawing guilt which had persisted all day, tripled in its intensity, tearing holes in her gut and heart. Her parents’ faces danced across the parchment, the last expressions they had worn were of pained betrayal, closely matched by Nera’s but in that moment, their hurt was more justified than ever before. She had wanted to sharply rebuke the other Dunmer, to try and force them to see her side of things. That Windhelm was harder to escape than quicksand. Once a Dunmer got there, they’d be trapped by the appalling wages and mounting fear of Nords. However, by doing so, she’d out herself as a fraud. She sighed and looked away, staring out the window. Snowflakes fizzed past, moving faster than she had ever seen before. The winds were stronger here…
Also screens will probably suck because I am far too lazy to figure out how to add the 40ish extra characters to my game :D so just moody Nera screens to come!

1, 4, 7, 12, 19, 24, 27, and 32, for,,,, all of your characters :3c
[TES OC Ask Meme] gee, thanks nerd, 5 characters with 8 questions each -_- this took weeks to finish!
What era(s) is your OC from?
Ettie Jurard is 2nd era (ESO), Fihrah and Andraste are 3rd (Morrowind and Oblivion), & Maur Stormcrown and Filirin Ice-Veins are 4th (Skyrim)
How old is your OC? Is their age typical for their race, or are they an outlier?
Ettie is 100% High Rock Breton, so in my personal Tamriel that puts her life expectancy around 120-130. She died roughly around 100, having spent much of her life as a wandering templar, and refusing to give up the habit even after retiring to what was meant to be a twilight period of quieter service in a an abbey in Stormhaven (this, naturally, is what ended in her running across the Worm Cult and getting sacrificed to begin with)
Fihrah is a Redguard-Dunmer Technically-Breton, so if all works out well he'll make it to about 90 or so. As it stands, he's like 20, but will say he's 25
Andraste is a Reachfolk Breton, and accustomed to a semi-nomadic life in the craggy Druadach Mountains along the southwest edge of Skyrim. At best he'd be looking at 60 or 70, though with the wave of bad luck that swept over his clan, he feels lucky to be approaching 50 (spoiler: he doesn't make it to 50)
Maur is mostly of High Rock Breton descent, though one grandparent is a Bosmer, so her prospects as a mortal would be somewhere in the 140 area, especially had she stayed in Skingrad. Alas, she was needed elsewhere, and through years of awakening and then strengthening her dragon soul, crested over 240 before she decided she'd seen enough and let her dragon have full control of their soul again. During the events of Skyrim she's 18-turning-19
Filirin is a Nord through and through (wow, see, I *am* capable of making non-Breton characters!), so as a human he's looking at 65-75. When he joins the companions he's vaguely 30. Idk I'll figure it out
What province does your OC currently live in?
Ettie doesn't technically live anywhere. She doesn't live at all, in fact; bit of a technical necessity as a shard of Stendarr
Fihrah is currently in Morrowind, and beyond that, I have no idea. I'm still getting started in the game tbh
Andraste technically owned a shitty little Riverfront District shack in the Imperial City, Cyrodiil, though he much preferred to live on the road and mostly left the shack to the use of the Thieves' Guild and the beggars they employed. One could perhaps say he currently lives in Aetherius :>
Maur owned Lakeview Manor in central-south Skyrim as her primary residence, though also had the rights to houses in each of the other holds. Like Andraste, she used these for Guild purposes
Filirin is quite content to live out of Jorrvaskr in Whiterun, Skyrim
Which different provinces has your OC visited? If they haven’t visited any others, do they have a particular place they’d like to go?
Ettie's been everywhere, man. Everywhere. All across Tamriel, several Daedric planes, several Aetherial planes... the work of the god of mercy is never done
Fihrah was probably born somewhere in Cyrodiil, and would have lived there for the first part of his life before whatever alleged criminal incident got him shipped off to Morrowind. Maybe he has half a dream of traveling to the Alik'r Desert someday, see the other half of his heritage now that he's had a taste of Dunmer culture
Andraste lived on the edges of High Rock and Skyrim, and once left alone wandered south into Cyrodiil. He's never been anywhere else, and didn't particularly want to, for the most part. Briefly he entertained daydreams of 'what if Martin, as emperor, needs to travel; surely I'd be at his side as a Blade, yes?', but, :)
Maur was born in western High Rock, actually, before she and her older brother were sent to their aunt and uncle in Cyrodiil. After the events of Skyrim, she takes up as a wandering mercenary, venturing into the edges of Vvardenfell, the Alik'r, returning to High Rock, even catching a ship to Pellitine (though always careful to avoid setting foot in Cyrodiil again; no telling whether the Guild still intended to make good on her blood price)
Filirin was born in Skyrim, raised in Skyrim, and if he has his way he'll die in Skyrim
How easily does your OC make friends?
Ettie, even before mantling, had a bit of a... a capybara vibe, one might say. You know that tumblr post about how capybaras get along with a lot of other animals because they're just kinda naturally calming (which I've never bothered to fact check, it occurs to me as I write this post)? She's like that. Has a calm, even voice and a warming smile for everyone she meets. She's got ride-or-dies all across Tamriel
Fihrah does not. Fihrah has the "how the Fuck does interpersonal interaction work" autism, so he's great at solo jobs but flounders in social settings, especially now that he's in a new province where he doesn't have coin to throw into buying rounds (and/or companionship-by-the-hour) at the nearest tavern
Andraste really does not. He was liked well enough in his clan, made a name for himself as a forward scout, but without the structure of Reachfolk life he feels lost, and so settles for putting everything of himself into whatever the job at hand is. No socializing, no chatting with employers further than the job details, nothing... at least, until he has to escort Martin to Weynon Priory (which takes far longer than it reasonably should because he has a strong distrust of roads and so insisted on trekking through the wilderness). Over the course of Oblivion's events, they become what Andraste would consider very close (and outsiders would say "they sure are standing in the same room, huh"), though even he doesn't realize just how miserable he really was living alone until Martin is gone
Maur's friends are all people she paid to be there. She (and her brother) grew up ostracized and bullied for being part-elven; she was, after all, born only eight years after the end of the Great War, and many humans in Cyrodiil harbored grudges against elves for the acts of the Aldmeri Dominion. Bretons simply got lumped in by virtue of being not-fully-human. Her teenage years living on the street and then as a pet didn't do any favors to her ability to socialize, so as a free adult, all she knows is hiring mercenaries and sex workers
Filirin is perhaps a bit too friendly. Very trusting, both in others and in his own ability to adapt to and extract himself from unsavory situations. He takes people at their word, and largely is content that way, though it doesn't do much to help the sting of shame when someone has to inform him that once again he has severely misjudged another's intentions
What moral boundaries does your OC have? Have they ever crossed them? What happened?
Ettie and Filirin are on the "good guys" end of the spectrum. One because she's a TES-flavor paladin and mantling the god of mercy, one because he's lived his entire life on his ancestral homestead and was raised to be an honest, gods-fearing Nord boy. By virtue of being player characters, they naturally end up in situations that push or break their self-imposed limits. Ettie greatly dislikes killing, but frequently has to burn through an alarming number of cultists serving various daedric princes. Filirin I'm thinking is deeply averse to desecrating corpses, including by looting, which will be fun to play in the game full of draugr ruins!
Fihrah is middle of the road. He'd Like to be a law-abiding citizen- and preferably regarded as heroic- but circumstances demand otherwise, and he ends up doing a lot more sketchy shit than he wants to acknowledge in order to get from one day to the next.
Andraste and Maur gave up on conventional morality long ago. Pure survival mode. Andraste's primary boundary is that he hates being given orders, especially when it's to do somebody else's dirty work, while Maur spent just enough time around Guild thieves to adopt the philosophy of having standards for who gets stolen from.
Your OC runs into some bandits on the road. Does your OC comply with their demands, fight them off, flee the area, or etc.?
Ettie talks them down. If they don't listen to mortal reason, a flare of aedric influence in the vein of "these are not the droids you're looking for" does the trick. Exception: if the bandits lead with violence, especially against any non-combatants she's traveling with, there's no wasting time with words
Fihrah probably just complies unless it's like, one, *maybe* two bandits, and they have to look like he can reasonable take them on
Andraste starts with trying to ignore and nonverbally threaten them away, but has no qualms defending himself
Maur sorts out whether they're just, like, some desperate scrap accosting travelers for pocket change or Legit Bandits. Group 1 gets coin and a "go home, kid", group 2 gets taken care of as quickly as possible. She's got shit to do- everyone and their mother's asking her for help! There's no time to waste on petty fucks like these!
Filirin honestly probably flees, albeit to see if the nearest town has a bounty out on them + to hire a mercenary or two to make sure the job gets done
A guard has confronted your OC, suspecting that they’ve broken the law in some way. What offense is your OC most likely to be accused of? Did they actually do it?
Ettie has to be a case of mistaken identity. She has never committed a crime in her life, death, or second life
Fihrah, again, only knows how to socialize via partying, so chances are he's getting pinned for public drunkenness and/or disturbing the peace
Andraste has an inherently sketchy look to him; reclusive, somewhat haggard, coming into town solely to sell goods of dubious acquisition. He could be accused of anything the good citizens of Cyrodiil can think of to get him out of their view as quickly as possible. He is also a Guild thief, technically speaking, but he actually doesn't do a lot of theft when not specifically ordered to (and/or when seeking to get his due payment from employers who thought to change the terms of their agreements)
Maur, from a young age, was habitually breaking locks. Sometimes to get at interesting goods (such as her village's beekeeper's honey storage shed), sometimes just to see how fast she could figure out the puzzle before her. As an adult, she works for the Thieves' Guild, so naturally there's a certain reputation that follows her
Filirin... I'm honestly not sure yet. His original concept was another 'not willingly breaking any laws' type, but maybe when I get into v2 in my next Skyrim run he'll be a little sketchier. A smuggler maybe? Think Hawke at the start of Dragon Age 2, taking on grunt work to support their family

pssspsps *hands you my skyrim werewolf oc*
(cring lore dump below so my brain becomes normal again)
nirin's my bosmer werewolf dragonborn oc :D!! she's skilled in archery; sneak; and fire magic!
she's selectively mute!! and uses sign language; as well as a (very) limited version of dragon language to those who can understand it; namely paarthurnax; miraak and the greybeards.
she's also feral; an absolutel creacher; lives in the woods; and rarely interacts w/ society;
nirin; or 'nir in' is dragon language for hunt master!! its a name she came up for herself after paarthurnax suggested it. she doesn't actually remember her original name;
i like to think that when the events of the games start; or the moment someone is at the right place at the right time and gets picked to become the 'hero' of the games; they forget their name and a majority of their past life. she still retains her personality; skills and any uhhh;; adverse;; effects of her past!! she just can't remember it! one of these adverse effects being that she's a werewolf (meaning i have to use console commands to make her a werewolf immediately on every playthrough lmao).
as her name suggests she's VERY good at hunting! that's her full time occupation basically lmao. she sometimes visits the drunken huntsman in whiterun to 'sell' her catches, but its rlly just the concerned shopkeepers giving her normal people food and supplies to help her survive.
she has 2 main followers! lydia and miraak.
lydia is her first friend (technically caretaker) in skyrim. i like to think that jarl balgruuf assigned her to nirin out of concern for this Child being the dragonborn and tasked to slay Alduin of all beings, so lydia was tasked at making sure she becomes a well-adjusted person and doesn't bite as much sdfdffdjkl. lydia taught her the basics of reading and writing!! :D they parted ways a bit further into nirin's journey, specifically when she travelled to solstheim
oK SO a BIG part of nirin's character is her struggle w/ her dragonborn identity and the burden of her dragon soul. she 100% rejects the call to adventure, HARD. i hc that the dragon souls a dragonborn absorbs Stays with them in more ways than just making them more powerful; like,, the dragons' personalities, wills and their desire for domination stays with her, with the latter especially getting worse the more dragon souls she absorbs and it certainly doesn't mesh well w/ her werewolf nature fskfs. she comes to paarthurnax often for advice and companionship, but there's only so much he can do, seeing as he only has one (1) dragon soul and never interacts w/ human society.
this is where miraak comes in!!! :DD i've always thought the fact he's the First Dragonborn is Very cool, and that he can have some very interesting dynamics w/ the Last (nirin)!! like, the fact he's been dragonborn for thousands of years!! has killed MANY dragons before and very skilled w/ using the thu'um for combat!! in her story, miraak acts as nirin's (reluctant) mentor. she initially pulled him out of Apocrypha so he could take her place in defeating Alduin, but because of permanent injuries and a curse inflicted by Hermeaus Mora, he's been locked out of Sovngarde and isn't rlly in peak fighting shape to take on a giant dragon god. so he's stuck trying to make sure the last dragonborn doesn't die before she saves the world fjsflkdsjf.
nirin isn't happy about this, miraak is even mORE disgruntled about this.
in conclusion, nobody is happy in this story except for me >:)
if you've read this far uhhhhhh, ty for listening to my unhinged brainrot rant and also i am sorry fjsdlkfjsldkj
#skyrim#tesblr#skyrim oc#the elder scrolls#oc#help girl i accidentally looked into the tumblr tags for my fave skyrim character (miraak) and briefly got stuck in the tes brainrot#dw this blog won't become a skyrim/tes blog i swear; my brain's just in a silly goofy mood atm

I haven't started reading your fic yet but I plan to, so ⭐️ for whatever director's cut goods you want to share! ❤️
AH! <3 Hello!
So for that star, I want to share the reason my fic even exists! I have a friend irl who doesn't post her fancomic/doodles but she loves to write future!tamriel stuff. I get these things in text messages when she has ideas which is just...chef's kiss. She's working on 5th era. My fic is really far back in that timeline, still during the events of Skyrim, but it's an origin story for one of her main/prominent families she likes to draw. That said I was still given creative freedom because aside from Teldryn, who's still kicking (Nerevarine lol, it's in the tags though so it's not too spoilery) all my versions of these characters are long gone by the time her story even begins. All I knew and was challenged to write was that MC was a Bosmer lady and the LDB. The whole piece started out as a series of journal entries LDB's great great great great great grandkid finds one day in amongst Teldryn's things and grew from there! I am in the middle of reworking some of it, but I'm about halfway done with the whole fic at the moment, technically, and the whole story and spinoffs/sequel ideas are planned, too.

formally requesting all of the fun facts about selene <33
hiiii jasmine beloved, sorry for the late reply, i'll info dump a few things about her let’s see <33
i’ll start by saying that i chose the name selene from greek mythology in a moment of extreme I Love the Moon, i even toyed with the idea of making her somehow related with the bosmer god of secunda but let the thought go ultimately
since the khajiit use the lunar phases to determine the forms the khajiit takes at birth, r’amha started calling her ‘his little senche pup’ since selene was born when both masser & secunda were full :3
also on the topic of r’amha. selene’s father died in the war against elsweyr so he got killed by a khajiit. i think that she could’ve easily grow a dislike or even hate for them, instead she found a second father exactly where she technically lost the first
her first impression of martin wasn’t exactly the best: she walked through a damn oblivion gate and fought hordes of dremora to come and get his ass, he could’ve at least show some gratitude or just, collaborate a little bit more. girl u will love this man later tho
the kill that granted her the entrance into the dark brotherhood was the adoring fan hfkjsf. at this time the oblivion crisis already ended and martin died and she’s slowly turning more hostile and crazy. go girl kill
the thing with her and being considered a hero is that. she’s unwillingly one. she was just a random elf that got dragged into all of that. ofc she wanted to fight to save everyone and herself from mehrunes dagon but it’s more of a “well if i don’t do it there’s no life anyway.”, plus at some point fighting means having a future with martin, that's why when in the end he sacrifices himself she feels betrayed?? not exactly by him but from her fate, her status? the people started calling her hero, champion. she never wanted that, they made her a hero and her so “hero-like” actions only brought death into her life. she starts growing more and more resentment, everyone is cheering for her, calling her champion now, she doesn't feel like a champion, she lost everything. she saved tamriel at what cost? what does good actions take to? death. that’s why she joins the dark brotherhood in the end
the whole shivering isles thing is my fave. at this point she doesn’t have anything to live for, she ends up here where everyone sounds so out of their damn mind, it’s ironic but she feels like she found her place. sheogorath it’s like a funny little grandpa in her eyes. that’s why when it’s her turn to be next lord sheogorath she doesn’t fight it in the slightest, i think at this point the shivering isles made her lose that last bit of sanity she had left. still, she didn’t laugh like that in such a long time, what’s wrong with being insane right?
#ask#montliyets#thank uuu for the interest shown for my funky little girl. she's everything to me#i could talk about oblivion for AGES so jfkshkf just a few little facts!! <33#oc: selene

A list of my beloved characters, with art and descriptions, all compiled into one space for your convenience! Should you have any questions or comments about them, feel free to say them; I LOVE talking about these little guys.
(body of post under the cut because it would be very long otherwise)
Arabella: Bosmer, 30, she/her Arabella is a delight to be around, as long as you hang out with her for a few hours and then never see her again. She is very difficult to be around otherwise. Originally from the city of Falinesti in Valenwood, she spent the last decade or so of her life travelling, and after trying and failing to settle in at the College of Winterhold she threw her lot in with the Thieves’ Guild and never (or at least rarely) looked back. She isn’t a good person by any means, but she is endearing or at least entertaining, and for most of her friends and acquaintances that appears to be enough. (you can read my Arabella-centric writing here!)
Torr: Nord, 14-16, he/they The poorest and littlest of meow meows. Was at one point my nicest and perhaps even my kindest character – rather ironic, considering. Grew up in Windhelm as the Quintessential Fantasy Street Urchin until a series of interesting choices led to his recruitment into the Dark Brotherhood, and it’s all downhill from there. Someone who feels deeply and cares deeply, for better and for worse. (you can read my Torr-centric writing here!)
Caelestis Vitellius: Dunmer/Imperial, early twenties, ze/zirs Caelestis Vitellius: Nerevarine, heretic, spy. Belonging to uncertain origins and in possession of an uncertain future, Caelestis is on some level a stranger to all – including, and perhaps most of all, to zirself. Ze started as an eccentric, sheltered rich kid thrust into sudden dire circumstances, and while a lot has changed, the perplexities of navigating a world of ancient prophecy and theocratic politics has not. Ze may never truly know who ze is and whether ze can claim the name ze was given – but at least, at last, ze has learned how to cook rice. (you can read my Caelestis-centric writing here!)
Efri (technically, Oldis): Nord, 10, she/her Efri is a lively goatherd whose philosophical outlook is that when life gives you lemons, you take longer walks. That outlook is beginning to wear, though, and now that her brother Onmund is gone (no-one will say where he’s gone – do they think she’s too stupid to figure it out? She knows where) she’s getting more restless than ever. Something has to change. (Efri is one of my newest characters, and her story is in very early stages. I still had to include her though, because I love her.) (you can read my Efri-centric writing here!)
the Dragonborn / Thane / Alixandra / Dova (technically, N/A): Human-ish, ???, she/her but not in a girl way A work in progress, both narratively and just as a person. Before Helgen, the Dragonborn was nothing and no-one, and the process of learning to be something and someone takes time. Small, powerful and staggeringly odd, her eclectic skill set includes an aptitude for combat and eerie but expected proficiency in the Thu’um, and notably excludes skills like executive functioning and engaging in conversation. She’s working on it, though. She’s trying. Isn’t that the important thing? (Also in early stages. My first character, who I am currently in the process of majorly reworking because the first iteration was conceptually flawed. I’m having fun with it!) (you can read my Dragonborn-centric writing here!)
Pax: Nibenese Imperial, 15, he/she/they A solitary thief turned celebrated hero. Tough, wily and abrasive, Pax was thrust into an adventure straight out of the epics and was all too ready to take on the role it demanded and the responsibilities that came with it. Delving the depths of Oblivion and making plans with a new and politically important friend, they feel more themself than they ever have - but heroes’ stories rarely end well, and sometimes, the only thing worse than making the noble choice is being the one left behind in the aftermath. (you can read my Pax-centric writing here!)

OC Interview-Shell
Rules:
Choose an OC. Shell
Answer them as that OC. Using the Asylum ‘Verse version rather than the Dragon Kin one
Tag 5 people to do the same!
Tagged by: @lothrilzul
Tagging:
Have an OC? Consider yourself tagged.
1. What is your name?
Shell.

2. Do you know why are you named that?
My mother named us all after white things. Shell, Pearl, Blossom…She’s always loved the ocean, so it probably came from that, too.
3. Are you single or taken?
Are poly people ever really taken? I do choose to talk new partners over with my current ones, though.
4. Have any abilities or powers?
I can do magic, but I don’t really consider myself a mage, per se. Also a Nightingale (shh, don’t tell).
5. Stop being a Mary Sue.
I’m an elf. That’s my right.
6. What’s your eye color?
Green. Terribly boring for a Wood Elf, I know.
7. How about your hair color?
I’m told it’s called “strawberry blonde.” I’ve never seen an orange-tinted strawberry, though.
8. Have any family members?
I have a mother I’m on weird terms with, two sisters I’m on great terms with, a little brother who inexplicably adores me, and my stepfather’s alright. On my father’s side, things are a bit, er, tense. Also, I’m in a poly marriage. Oh Divines, I never thought about in-laws.
9. Oh? How about pets?
Nah.
10. That’s cool, I guess. Now tell me something you don’t like?
I’m rather not fond of the Thalmor. Or the Elder Council. Or the Blackbriars.
11. Do you have any activities/hobbies that you like to do?
I carve candles.
12. Have you ever hurt anyone in any way before?
I was a spy and an assassin. Of course.
13. Ever… killed anyone before?
Assassin, noun. A person that kills people for monetary or political reasons.
14. What kind of animal are you?
Not the most politically correct thing to ask a Bosmer.
15. Name your worst habits?
I suppose stealing things and killing people count.
16. Do you look up to anyone at all?
Several people. My mother, who has all the patience she never passed on to me. Telki, who can make a friend out of just about anyone if she puts her mind to it. Gideon, who is a better person than I’ll ever be.
17. Are you gay, straight or bisexual?
Of the options, bisexual, but I consider myself pansexual and polysexual.
18. Do you go to school?
Not anymore.
19. Ever want to marry and have kids one day?
Technically in a crazy messy poly-marriage. They already had kids when I was added to the pile of spouses. As for my own…the world isn’t ready. I’m not ready.
20. Do you have any fangirls/fanboys?
Brynjolf. Don’t tell him I said so, though. He’d deny it.
21. What are you most afraid of?
Someone knowing the answer to that question.
22. What do you usually wear?
Light armor, or casual dresses. I’ve developed a fondness for dresses. You can hide so many daggers in them!
23. What’s one food that tempts you?
I just love food.
24. Am I annoying to you?
Not really.
25. Well, it’s still not over!
…Yay?
26. What class are you (low/middle/high)?
I haven’t the faintest idea. I’m a thief. My stepfather’s an Emperor.
27. How many friends do you have?
Quite a few more than I had while stuck working for the Thalmor.
28. What are your thoughts on pie?
Amazing. Spectacular. Revolutionary.
29. Favorite drink?
I miss orange blossom tea.
30. What’s your favorite place?
I don’t really have one. Just with my favorite people.
31. Are you interested in anyone?
Someone I’m not already with? Not currently.
32. That was a stupid question…
Only if it was your attempt at flirting.
33. Would you rather swim in a lake or the ocean?
No thank you.
34. What’s your type?
I tend to go for competent people, and I’ve developed a thing for muscles, but it’s not like everyone I’ve liked has had them. I tend not to go for other elves, though.
35. Any fetishes?
Does the muscles thing count?
36. Camping or outdoors?
Camping is a necessary evil.
