General information about the security staff.

Mike Schmidt is a lazy security guard, he doesn't care about his job. He has high physical strength. The bully. He also has his advantages, he is a strong brake, so maybe you will have time to escape. He does not like animatronics, and it is understandable, they themselves are afraid of him. Especially after their first meeting on shift.As a child, due to a technical error, he was bitten by a foxy, and that's when it all started. He is always hungry. He loves Pacman.

Fritz Smith is the quietest and most unremarkable of the security staff. Mechanic, created new mascots from the pizzeria of FNAF2. He does his job, albeit slowly, but efficiently. You might think that he is indifferent to absolutely everything, but this is at first glance. The most adequate of all. After getting a job, he began to have health problems. A heavy smoker.

Jeremy Fitzgerald is the night guard of FNAF2. At first glance - such a good boy! But hey! You should not engage in conversation with him. He's a typical anime geek. If you try to establish contact with him somehow, it may end badly for you. If you start a dialogue with him, he will just have a stream of very strange thoughts. And perhaps you will be harassed by him, because he really wants to communicate. Unpleasant to talk to. A little cowardly. The character is missing. He smells bad. He's always sweating.

Vincent Bishop is one of the old guards, he was a mechanic in the first pizzeria. He has a criminal record for an incident in the past. Always downcast and gloomy, but sometimes shows his impudence, mainly towards Scott. Definitely a useful worker. Can complete assigned tasks fairly quickly, but not always efficiently (so to speak, at first - good). It may seem that he is the most adequate of the entire gang of security personnel, but alas, you are mistaken, he has gone a little crazy. Does not believe in mysticism, considers the strange actions of robots to be a technical error and a shortcoming. In the pizzeria, he works as a mechanic, security guard, carpenter, janitor … well, or free labor. Lives in the pizzeria building. Violet is not in contact with him.

Scott Weiss is the manager of the pizzeria, a crook. Seemingly a fairly balanced person, but in fact he is nervous, hysterical, smug and vindictive. If he does not like something about you, he will do everything to fire you. Drunkard. Calls the staff at night.Faith is Scott's daughter, has been in college for a long time. Phone guy. Knows nothing about the animatronics' obsession.

Chris Miller is the new owner of the pizzeria. A cheerful and slightly irresponsible guy, he doesn't want to do business himself, dumping everything on his manager. Helped Schmidt get a job. Chris's parents bought him a business. A of a rapper. At first glance, he's a fool, but that's a misconception. Chris.

Assorted Fazband Thoughts

sort of a sequel to this ask from @mangleschmidt i got about the animatronics; sort of based on lore by @fivenightsatfreddysfanfiction

ORIGINAL FAZBAND

as i mentioned in the footnotes, the originals (the hardware anyway) were made specifically for the first location by a small robotics company that was later acquired by fazbear entertainment. the base shells were copied/modified from an old blueprint of the springlocks.

the software was provided by jeremy fitzgerald sr., who had taken an interest in the fazband's development. it was a little unusual when he asked to personally oversee the testing of his prototype "security mode", but given he was related to one of the higher-ups, nobody argued. (weird guy, though. didn't work well with others)

the originals don't actually have a programmed free-roam mode, at least not back in the '80s. any walking around they did (one at a time, in a very limited area, under supervision) was directed via remote control. after '87, people started noticing the fazband's movements became a little more... natural, less stiff. then one night they just started walking around on their own.

also in the other posts, the fazbands aren't really capable of independent, sentient thoughts or personalities. well, they're not supposed to be. but very occasionally, outside of showtimes, they would... talk... to themselves, using bits from their showtime voicelines. even when the ghost children would be resting.

i don't know if they're distinct enough from the ghosts to be their own persons, but i have a feeling they aren't completely unaware.

TOY FAZBAND

the toys are technically the third version of the fazband, after the '80s prototype originals and the rudimentary "rockstar" line that was in production from '85-'98 for other freddy's branch locations. the rockstars were cheap and easy to make (think chuck e cheese but worse) and are what the majority of people imagine when thinking "freddy fazbear's pizza". when mike schmidt became a utahn hero after protecting a young teenager from "burglars", fazbear entertainment was starting to roll out the toys and decided to revamp their first location to suit their new colorful image. (the kid might've put in a good word; wasn't he the grandson of one of the higher-ups?)

the toys are a lot simpler than the originals in a lot of ways: design, question of sentience, lack of jaw movement—but they're definitely more technologically advanced. better at walking, too. they also have a version of fitzgerald sr.'s security mode in their programming, after mike's heroism also raised parental worry about their local pizzeria getting robbed. (honestly, i don't think these animatronics actually have facial recognition.)

as for what other animatronic mangle got inextricably combined with... given fredbear doesn't actually have an endoskeleton, i think it may have been dee-dee, balloon boy's counterpart.

i don't exactly know where to put it, but the marionette is also an exclusive first-location "animatronic". the guy who designed the original fazband made it for his daughter, apparently. they visited freddy's a few times, always carrying that thing in tow; something bad happened, and he left it behind.

SPRINGLOCK SUITS

very few people still remember there were two of them. when you take off the ears, the accessories, they look identical. they were supposed to be thrown out, but fitzgerald sr. took a liking to them. too bad he wasn't much of an engineer though, or he maybe would've given the fazband springlocks, too.

as a spirit, Susie is usually referred to by employees/people who've seen her as "The Faceless Girl." as the years went on, and Susie's identity issues worsened, she began to lose more and more of her facial features until all that was left was her eyes.

for Susie, the line between her and Chica's identity started blurring to where she couldn't tell where She ended and Chica began. it got bad enough that, if any of the spirits needed to talk to her, they'd have to do so Very directly by getting close to her and speaking in her face.

all of the memory and identity stuff scares her, by the way.

of all the spirits, she's the most terrified of William. she will quite literally avoid the fucker like the plague unless another spirit is with her.

Fritz (Jr.):

full name is Fritz Kennedy Smith Jr. he's technically also referred to as Fritz Kennedy Andrews, but he likes that name less due to Reasons (their stepdad sucks and is abusive)

hoo boy...this kid went through a lot of shit. personality wise, he was rather lonely and just...kinda sad. he stays off to himself a lot, off to the side. he's Very determined, though, and has a bit of a temper. (kinda like his bio dad in that regard)

a fun fact that, technically, i've only really told my bestie: Fritz is intersex.

their bio dad lives by himself and was a recovering alcoholic (wanted to better himself for his son; relapsed HARD after Jr. died). their bio dad didn't have a Lot of money, but was slowly working his way to living a comfortable life. he also worked as a car mechanic and would teach Jr. some skills on a few occasions when they'd visit.

Fritz, like his father, is Irish.

they are David's half/stepbrother

they were on the high school track team, and they showed a lot of promise! they were planning on being in track for all of high school. they like running in general.

Foxy was his favorite...and also his comfort character.

for reasons that aren't entirely clear, as a spirit, Fritz's wounds seem to release this red mist sort of substance, and their hair fades off into mist at the ends. due to this, Fritz is generally referred to as "The Misty Boy." the fact that Fritz generally likes hiding in the shadows doesn't help.

Fritz is one of the more aggressive spirits, along with Mimi and David. however, Fritz generally likes staying off by himself.

Gabi (Gabrielle):

full name is Gabrielle Angel Fitzgerald-Hernández

she's Mimi's best friend. they are almost Polar opposites, though.

she's generally known as "The Confused Girl," because she seems almost constantly scared with no idea of what's happening. she's surrounded by this garbled laughing/screaming sound, but almost always seems to be crying/sobbing.

Mimi is rather quiet, but also smart for a kid their age. they're rather socially awkward, and not good at interacting with their peers. due to issues with tone, and speaking in a rather matter-of-factly fashion, Mimi usually (unintentionally) comes off as pretentious or like a smartass.

Mimi is, technically (due to not really knowing either of these terms specifically, but just kinda not giving a fuck about Weird Gender Stuff after dying), transfem agender. they/she/he (with the pronouns being preferred in that order. similarly, they're fine with being referred to as both Mimi and Jeremy, they just prefer Mimi).

Mimi's family is like. lower middle class, i'd say. dad's a teacher (specifically a science teacher at the high school), mom works at an office. has three siblings and is the youngest.

really really big interest in space. thank their dad for that one.

Gabi's their bestie...and probably Only friend aside from Cassidy (CC).

Mimi is incredibly cautious, and anxious. also had some mild anger issues prior to their murder...that Immediately got much worse after dying.

they're referred to as "The Aggressive Spirit." as you can probably guess, they're one of the more violent spirits. understandable, considering they got murdered with their best friend on said bestie's birthday.

Birthday: April 20th, 1970

Age (at time of death): 10

Death Date: June 23rd, 1980

David's...odd. a bit eccentric, generally quiet and pissed off, and seems to be uncaring of others (this is due to them having low empathy, however, and not because they Genuinely Don't Care). they have a vibe of pure Bitterness and Distrust at the world. specifically, for the adults who failed them.

David is nonbinary (doesn't know that specific term due to Time Period), and uses they/them.

their family is...between Poor and Middle Class, but leaning more towards poor. a mom who always works, and accidentally neglects her kids as a result, and an abusive, alcoholic father who isn't doing their finances any favors with his habits. some days, they walk through the house as though on eggshells, others...well, What Happens, Happens, as David says.

they honestly view Fritz as the only good thing in that household. sure would be a shame if anything Bad happened to Fritz, then, huh?

...so David died (by springlocking) because they ran off to go find Fritz-

they're the Vengeful Spirit

David's really strong as a spirit due to Agony Reasons.

body got dumped in a lake by the Afton House; they're associated with water/drowning due to that, even if drowning isn't what killed them.

Gabi herself is actually transfem! her clothes are hand-me-downs from her older sister, since her family isn't exactly rich.

Felix also has some Gender Weirdness going on (being genderqueer). his philosophy on gender is basically "call me whatever you want, idgaf."

of the MCI kids, Felix is the oldest (10).

Baker is Jeremy Fitzgerald's younger brother, and the youngest of the MCI (5).

Felix is Fritz Smith's son.

Baker really, Really likes Bonnie. he's Bonnie's biggest fan :]

Naomi and Gabi were Liz's closest friends...which makes their murders that much sadder.

Baker and Kelsey were Cassidy’s closest friends, and they hung out a lot because their older brothers (Mike, Jeremy, and Andrew) were friends and hung out, too.

Cassidy was friends with all of the MCI victims...and they were the ones who got Cass his other four plushies.

technically speaking, Cassidy and Kelsey aren't cis either. but they never really got to realize that (y'know. 'cause they died).

you'd think Felix would be the Vengeful Spirit, considering how angry he is...but nope! that would be Cassidy :)

Gabi was murdered on her 8th birthday, and that was how William lured her. with the promise of a birthday party (think Pizza Party from Help Wanted).

Gabi is incredibly shy, which is why Freddy hides in darkness.

Kelsey is actually the more timid of the Fredbear spirits.

Baker, despite how energetic he is, is actually the most calm out of the spirits. he doesn't really want to kill anyone besides Afton.

Oh, this is nice! Love all the guys! They each have their own quirks that make them fun characters and explain their methods, which seems fun. Cassidy deserves to be angry after everything, too.

I feel so bad for Gabi, though. To die on your birthday, being tricked into it? That must suck. Baker seems like a fun kid.
