Never thought I’d see the day where I defend Tectone but he made a tweet saying something like “hey men who play Star Rail Robin is hot right” and now people are attacking him because “how DARE you ask men if she’s hot when she’s OBVIOUSLY a lesbian 😡😡😡!!” as if they don’t do the exact same thing to male characters they headcanon as gay.

Don’t EVER believe people who say stuff like “X character is obviously Y” without it being explicitly said by canon, that’s a mark of self-projection or a kink right there.

now that im not in insta and im actively playing wuwa i just wanna say that tectone sucks ass. he sucks ass because he’s playing games clearly meant for queer people. he’s the loud cishet white streamer that played AK, Genshin, HSR and now WuWa. Here's what I've been up to lately! Three years after I created the original version, here's a revamp of the first planet I mapped out for @jayrockin's "Runaway to the Stars" project, the homeworld of their Centaur aliens. This post covers Phase One: Geology.

Firstly, the Equirectangular elevation maps with and without the color gradient layer, and tectonic plate map. This color gradient marks sea level, of course, and while there are inland areas that are *also* below that elevation, I have yet to determine which of those basins have lakes and seas therein, and how their shorelines compare; *that* will be seen once I figure out the climate : ) As for the Plate map, most of the smaller, oblong plates without any rift boundaries represent island chains or continent fragments that accreted onto larger landmasses; discretely marking those was helpful for placing and shaping the mountain ranges.

Next, the Poles-Centered Perspective maps, made possible with Photopea's Polar Coordinates tool. The planet's Southern hemisphere, centered on the south pole, is seen at left, and its Northern hemisphere is seen at right. Like the previous set of three, this set includes the color elevation map, greyscale elevation map, and solid color tectonic plates.

Last of all, the basis for the planet's current appearance: it's tectonic history! These gifs, in six frames, cover about 200 million years of continental drift, starting with the breakup of two Supercontinents, and was primarily achieved in Blender. This isn't my first time trying to reconstruct a tectonic history, but it *is* my first time doing so this quickly and efficiently, thanks to the process I developed here using this planet's continents as a test case.

Adding onto this, because in my opinion the fandom reaction is bit overblown

I've sat through two of the streams of Limbus (as of now that's all there is) he did. From that, I've gleaned couple things:

-his style of streams is very reactionary and loud, with use of highly disrespectful words such as r*tard and gay (in the context of "that's gay"). However, the context they are used in seems to lean heavily towards them being edgier versions of fuck, damn, bitch kind of language.

-adding onto previous point, yes, politically speaking he is right-wing. I don't personally agree with most his views either

However

-the most recent controversy is him saying that period trackers in a game that centers around romancing fictional characters (Love and Deep Space) is gooner content (intended for sexual gratification of audience).

He later clarified (multiple times) that what he meant was that it supports parasocial relationships with the fictional characters. Now, look at wattpad, dark romance booktok, or hell, look at ao3 - women are gooners too, that's a HARD FACT. We too salivate over attractive people.

My opinion on the topic of period tracker in the game as a cis lesbian:

Games can involve things like microtransactions for more explicit or suggestive content. Buying them with REAL MONEY. Which is of course predatory and highly dependent on connecting with fictional characters - which is amplified by parasocialism, which is supported by period tracker that makes the characters behave differently, reacting in a more comforting way to a real life event.

One thing that is pretty glaring here though - applications having access to your period history, real or fabricated is DANGEROUS. Especially if your country is vocally anti-abortion and would have interest in purchasing that period data from the app company.

End of opinion.

- All in all, Tectone has had nothing but excitement and support for Limbus Company so far. He has in fact stated that he is surprised how much he likes the story-driven text crawl when the story is actually good.

He also voiced intentions to bring more attention to the game via his fanbase which can really fire both ways, but either way means more players spending money and supporting Project Moon as a whole so...

TL;DR:

Although I don't agree with his views, I wouldn't say he is as big of a concern as people think. Who are we to tell some guy he can't play a game he's excited about?

For the Aarmau fans (me, I'm an Aarmau fan) But I've never been as enthusiastic about it. I was DEVOTED to Garmau, then jumped ship when he got manipulated at the end of season 1, and I also jumped ship with Larmau after that abysmal wedding. Genuinely didn't want to get attached to any new pairings just in case and I was RIGHT because they killed Aaron. But this ship stuck with me because of how depressing it ended.

Anyway, rant aside. In front of people they're serious and focused, and when they're alone together they match each other's freak a little too well.

Edit: Forgot to mention that I showed this to my sister and she said he looked like hasn't showered in 2 weeks and that was EXACTLY what I was going for 🫶

I agree with a lot of the criticism against Aaron's character, but after so much petty jealousy and possessiveness from the other love interest around Aphmau, I actually enjoyed his nonchalant dreadhead energy.
